Hello! Been sick for the past 3 days and did what any artist does at one point in their lives, draw art about it. So enjoy a drawing of me in stick form suffering while bubbles talk about the past 3 days I’ve been sick.

Content Warning: Discussion of nose bleeds, sickness and mental health.

Side Note: wanted to add a bit about me going through a crisis but didn’t know where to add it. So here is some lore about me. Every time I get sick I go through a mental crisis over what ever is happening in my life. Crisis this time was me getting sick after years of not getting sick. Last time was about my relationship status I believe. Now enjoy the art, all of it is exaggerated so fear not, I have done a mental health and physical health check in. I am safe and alright!

I've been thinking and thinking. Call me a researcher or just a stranger. And something's been gnawing on my mind.

I didn't know Herobrines could reproduce let alone be female. There's an overabundance in males and females are a rarity from my observation. That is such an odd thing. Not to mention that Herobrines don't really- reproduce. Of course with exceptions, but the cases I know do it rather traditionally.

Your mother- (likely a brine all the same - as you describe yourself one too) Your mother produced children by spreading spores of some kind. Some parts of herself I guess. A power to mend into the elements and create another living being in such a way is baffling.

To get to the point and my actual question.

I've been pondering- spreading Herobrine offspring on such a wide scale (as you mentioned you had plenty of siblings) and seemingly not weakening herself if she could do that en mass. Maybe it's less of making more Brines from herself but something more akin to Brine-Spawns. (like vampire-spawns- a weaker kind of vampire sprung from a true one)

With that odd thought- you are the child of a Herobrine, but not a full brine yourself? Do you think that is kinda true?

Brines are such a rarity, your mother releasing tousands of offspring into the world and them being true Brines seems a little unreasonable.

Of course I may be mistaken as every elusive indivitual of a brine works different than the next. Maybe you and your "species" aren't actual brines by many a definition from each their own flaws.

Ah..... I've been talking a lot. What do you think about this whole- thing? Maybe you know more than I do. Probably.

he anticipated an impersonal setting; just testing various methods and giving his own opinion on them. After all, it isn't like he hasn't been tortured before, and he doesn't expect anything beyond the usual: beatings, electrocution, various drugging and deprivations. All things he can handle.

But in past cases, his captors (and Vic) wanted to keep him alive and relatively whole, and didn't have access to healing technology, so he was in no way anticipating extreme methods that would be capable of killing him if not for the tech.

He also wasn't anticipating the lovely Technique Suppliers (you all) to be hell-bent on breaking him down :)

#talkForge #the longer answer is that poly routes take a lot of thought and planning that I haven't been able to meaningfully integrate into the games #so while I don't care what you do in a fanon capacity I just want to be able to get through the individual routes before I plan for #games with poly stuff in them: when you try and slapshod them in and I say this with love you get ha/ls/in b/g/3 #I'll look into it w hybrid; it's early days and its scope would be smaller because it would just be mc/trigger/crave or mc/trigger/mantis #no promises but I'm not rejecting the premise just the scope dkjfh #siruud and tahira would need canonical years of work and even then their relationship would be inscrutable from the outside #and mark you they would need a relationship with each other bc pride would not allow them to schedule dates around the other

as random trivia, Jetkaiser and VesalBlood actually kind of exist around the same time, if you assume that they're both descended from a world with otherwise similar chronology

VesalBlood experienced a more catastrophic sort of flesh magic imperialism that completely erased existing power structures more or less immediately, while Jetkaiser had those power structures linger for as long as they could possibly manage before collapsing in on themselves

one had a dark age of destroyed information at the hands of a sort of "flesh alchemist nightmare war leading into a biotechnotheocratic data apocalypse", while the other had information-worshipping cults that preserved everything they could for as long as possible in hopes they could one day restore the world from before the god-like entity manifested

VesalBlood has three enormous church entities (one a bit nondenominational) fighting for scraps in a dying system, Jetkaiser has a bunch of ostensibly allied corporate conglomerates competing in a neverending game of hyperexpansionist colonialism and proxy wars

while Jetkaiser is about carving up the pieces of a dead god to power this horrifying future, VesalBlood is about desperately trying to create something to fill a god-shaped hole that was seemingly always there, at the expense of ever feeling like enough has been done

the Third Cycle isn't the same as the Eternal era, but they're like... cousins who somehow ended up looking more like each other than their actual siblings.

#it's honestly mostly a difference in scope #because one is spread out very widely and allows player characters to have meaningful adventures in an enormous world #while the other is very compact and plays on the disempowerment of small people in the service of (literal) large people #in both cases someone's at the wheel who really shouldn't be #but in Jetkaiser the player characters can at least hold onto hope about things changing one day #which is why one of these is good for a ttrpg and the other is better for traditional storytelling
