I love this question!
My favourite would be 1989 tv because every single one is an absolute bop. With maybe the exception of suburban legends but I still love it just not as much.
Then it has to be speak now tv. The only reason this isn’t first is because I like suburban legends more than when Emma falls in love (I just really don’t like it) but if they didn’t exist 1989 and speak now would be tied. Suburban legends and when Emma are definitely in my least favourites group.
Then red tv because ahhh atw 10 min version kills me every time!!! I don’t really like babe or better man and the others aren’t really my favourites but I still think they’re amazing.
And finally fearless tv. You all over me , we were happy and bye bye baby I dislike more than babe and better man and that’s really the only reason fearless is last. Other than that, that’s when and mr perfectly fine I loveeee soooo much.

Brian and John:
Irrevocable Condition (@dailyhowl). John and Brian are together, free bohemians rising to the top • Crawling to the Car (@dailyhowl). Fantastic fractured impressionistic story set during the 1966 Paris trip with Brian, John, Paul, and Maggie McGivern. It’s about the snapshots in Paul’s camera, John’s loneliness, John and Brian’s almost love that is love, and the tether between John and Paul. • Formby Sands (Naraht). 1962. Brian dives into the cold waves. John watches and warms him up. Mismatching love, blue lips, and shivers.
Barcelona:
The Birds in the Sky Would be Sad and Lonely (@dailyhowl). The trip from John’s anxious, angry, messy point of view. I like that John wants Brian; dares to go further with him that with Stu or Paul. • From Barcelona to Santa Cruz (thinkpink20). John and Paul talk after Barcelona. Let the misunderstandings begin. • Barcelona (Selena). Paul and Astrid talk in Tenerife, or try to. Paul refuses to admit what’s bothering him. Very interesting perspectives.
Brian and John/Paul:
Nothing Mr. Epstein Can Do (@dailyhowl). Musings about John and Paul. ‘Brian wonders if he could consider himself the love child of their psyches.’ • Blue Christmas (@theoldmixer). My ‘Brian lives AU’ 2023 Secret Santa prompt twin! In this version, Brian acts as J/P matchmaker during the 1968 Christmas Party. He is handling things like a true professional.
Brian and Paul:
Managing Expectations (@pauls1967moustache). Paul is unsettled because he can’t tell where he begins and John ends. Brian is the obvious person to help. A psychosexual collision (and, as always with moeexyz, an A++ character study).
Brian and George:
Evasion (quietprofanity). The story is really about all of the Beatles, with Brian at the center and a very unhealthy John [who redeems himself] and some interesting Paul/George, but the most interesting throughline, to me, was George and Brian: from the moment Clive Epstein mistakes George for one of Brian’s flings to their beautiful night together. • The Rent Boy Misunderstanding (@ilovedig). George and Brian in the car, after Clive jumped to the wrong conclusions.
Brian and Andrew Loog Oldham:
A guy who really knows his way around (Naraht). Brian meets a very young Andrew, and is suitably amused and intrigued. I loved Brian’s smooth POV.
Brian and Alistair Taylor:
Another Kind of Love (Naraht). For once, “I loved him, but not like that” feels believable. Worth it for the growling Alistair vs. Peter Brown raising of the hackles alone.

My Trafalgar Law HC’s!! pt.4🥳🥳
This one’s longer and is kinda inspired by some people around me, but most of these I could honestly see for him!!
He doesn’t work at a hospital. He owns a private clinic. If he did, he’d work in the ER. He’d have a scribe. He’d either be very grumpy or very patient to work with.
He doesn’t read Homestuck/doesn’t really like it but if he absolutely had to choose his favorite human would be Dave Strider. I literally have no clue what his favorite troll would be, but I’m guessing maybe like Aradia or Karkat.
His favorite Nintendo series is Star Fox.
He’s more of a Vinesauce guy than a Jerma guy.
If you asked him what the three most recent songs he’s listened to are, he’d probably say:

Climbing Up The Walls-Radiohead
How they appeared on his playlist or if he even liked them is up to you.
He’s not a Taylor Swift fan, but I could see State of Grace, Red, Sparks Fly, Mine, All Too Well (10 min version) and Love Story being his favorite songs. (I literally can’t explain this one LOL)
He doesn’t mind Lofi.
This one is actually inspired by an old friend of mine, but he doesn’t really watch anime. He watches a lot of analysis videos on YouTube and if it’s interesting enough, he’ll watch it. This was the case for Cardcaptor Sakura, Fruits Basket, and Ergo Proxy.
He’s seen Phoebe Bridgers in concert with Nami. She also introduced him to Mitski.
Radiohead is probably his favorite artist. He also likes Paramore and Mitski
(Note: Before, I thought it was FATM, but a lot of my HC's and fanfic content heavily revolve around Radiohead. So, there's that. He probably still really likes FATM though. Same for Evanescence.)
He loves Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, and stuff like Half Life, Silent Hill, Portal, Overwatch and GMOD.
He likes watching Luffy play Skyrim and would probably be better than him if he played it.
He cried playing Shadow of the Colossus, Deemo, and Yomawari. He’s also cried playing some other games.
He went through an Undertale phase. He also cried playing it. He’d also be the person to spoil the whole route system, and would get annoyed if you don’t do “the good route”.
He really likes Batman. He prefers DC.
His favorite channel is Adult Swim.
If you show him Star Wars I-III he’ll make really funny jokes the entire time. He also really likes Chewbacca, Luke, and Obi Wan. And if you gift him a lightsaber you might find him on the deck late at night doing lightsaber tricks.
He LOVES Pikmin.
He sucks at MarioKart.
He’s really good at Smash Bros but he’ll silently rage quit if he’s doing bad or loses. His main is Cloud.
His favorite Pokémon is Lucario, but he also likes Bulbasaur. His favorite element is electric, so he also likes Espeon and Umbreon.
He does not participate in Secret Santa at the clinic.
This one’s kinda obvious but his favorite AOT character is Levi.
His favorite Demon Slayer characters are Rengoku and Nezuko. He bawled when Rengoku died.
His favorite BTS member is Jungkook.
When Pokémon Go was big, he used to drive Luffy, Chopper, and Nami around. Them and Kid and Killer would be fighting for Poke stops all the time, and leech (MaxMoeFoe reference) off their lures. Things would get so heated LOL
If you ask him to watch a Kdrama with you he’d hate it at first but then get really into it. He'd get so upset at any cliffhangers.
This one’s also obvious but he hates the color pink.
He doesn’t play Minecraft. And he probably wouldn’t in the foreseeable future.

Jegulus Beach Reads
the librarian is going on a road trip!! unfortunately that does mean that i will be hard to reach for the next week or so. but, because road trip (to the beach!!) ive curated a list of jegulus fics featuring vacations and other lightheartedness. enjoy!!

Wednesday is preparing Enid's Secret Santa gift.
No albums were harmed in the writing of this fic.
Secret
Wednesday Addams sat on the chair she used for cello practice, leaning forward, her foil in hand, rather than a bow. Music was represented by the pile of moonstone, bloodmoon, and jade green, and mahogany Taylor Swift vinyl trapped under the point of the foil. Wednesday spun the sword, slowly, but inexorably increasing the force she was exerting downward. Her father would chide her about proper sword care, Bianca Barclay would brush away all future tossed gauntlets as Wednesday would be an opponent unworthy of her rank. But Wednesday found as the point of the foil drilled through the vinyl, shattering it, a sensation of pleasure rose each time the point broke through to a new platter. Her Secret Santa gift to Enid Sinclair was recorded, the mixtape, authentically lodged on a cassette with Wednesday’s careful calligraphy listing the song and commentary list scratched onto the paper cover tucked inside. She wondered if she should have recorded the albums as they shattered as a backdrop to her commentary. She had delicately shredded the covers, cutting strips with the sharpest of craft knives, until Taylor Swift’s face became a muddle of flesh tones and dark backdrops. She appreciated Ms. Swift’s craft; what she did not appreciate was how Enid’s eyes lit up when a Taylor Swift song came on or how Enid had bouncily requested Wednesday donate a couple of rare books to the “Get Enid Taylor Tickets” auction. Yes, the books were dusty (She had hidden Thing’s favorite hand cream for that betrayal), but they were also irreplaceable. Yes, they would have made Enid’s auction a success if the billionaires lusting for them had found them, but surely transferring enough cash to buy out an entire stadium to a high schooler’s account would have raised some kind of ATF alarm. This is part of why Wednesday had given up cannons at a young age; blade weapons attracted much less government scrutiny than the gunpowder and projectile variety. Pugsley was going to have to learn to obscure the trail of his purchases. Perhaps Wednesday would start a demolition company to gift him for his next birthday.
“Howdy, bestie.” The door opened and Enid rushed into the room, a swirl of butterscotch gold and brightness that could no longer be contained by any means Wednesday had researched. Even midnights seemed brighter since Wednesday had demurred Enid’s offer to replace the duct tape. Where midnights now her afternoon when Enid was present? Was Taylor Swift a Cassandra, prophesing all the dooms. Wednesday was intrigued by that thought. Perhaps she should listen to and shatter some of Taylor’s earlier albums (Taylor’s Versions only, if available). Was this now Wednesday (Enid’s version)? If she was going to cross pollinate any features, Wednesday thought, nay prayed, could it be the fangs and not the blinding colors.
“Wednesday?”
Wednesday (Enid’s version) re entered the physical space of her body opening her eyes to discover an Enid barely the width of a blade off her nose. Blue eyes, worried blue eyes, blue eyes Wednesday would forget to swim in so the weight of her emotions would drag her to doom, looked puzzled. Wednesday flounced back, sword flipping up, Enid skipping back to avoid the tip, Wednesday throwing herself forward, to the floor, arms out, to cover the carnage she had been creating.
“Secret Santa collage.” Wednesday(Enid’s version) hissed. “Don’t ask, don’t tell.”
Enid frowned, “You’re acting…” Weird, strange, odd…all of those words would describe Wednesday’s behavior on any ordinary day so Wednesday was very curious as to how Enid would describe this.
“Silly. Silly.” Enid turned to talk to Thing, “She’s being silly. Isn’t she?”
Wednesday (Wednesday’s version) glared from where she was sprawled on the floor, across destroyed Midnights albums, shards of which cut into her ribs. Thing scuttled over to hover by her nose. He smirked. Wednesday glared.
“I was not expecting you back until later.” Wednesday (Enid’s version) in a weak attempt to cover up embarrassment, scolded Enid.”I do not think you are ready to interact with my messy side.”
“You have a messy side?”
Wednesday (Wednesday’s version) pulled off a devious smile, remembering days coated with dirt, mud, cobwebs, viscera, feathers.
“It’s a private thing.”
Enid stared, then shrugged, “Yeah, some days I just feel like making a pile of all my clothes on the bed and diving in; figures you’d prefer the floor.”
“An ascetic pleasure.” Wednesday (Enid’s version) could feel the hyperventilation start as her heart rate accelerated like an avalanche. What was she saying? Did any of it make sense? How could she get Enid out of the room before Enid discovered what she’d been up to and assumed the Prophet Swift had made Wednesday’s murder list. Well, she had, but after Wednesday (Enid’s version) discovery of the singer’s new found link to ancient prophetesses, Wednesday would draw a careful black line through the name. Future knowledge could be useful and Enid owned all the albums.
Enid reached down with both hands and easily put Wednesday (Enid’s version) back on her feet, fortunately holding on for just 32 seconds too long so when Wednesday’s (Enid’s version) knees buckled as she swooned at Enid’s werewolf strength, Wednesday (Enid’s version) managed to remain upright. Wednesday (Wednesday's version) stepped forward, broadening her shoulders, head held high, chin tilted forward, challenging Enid, daringly blocking the werewolf’s view.
Enid knelt down. Wednesday’s (Enid’s version) throat closed to keep her stomach in. Was this a proposal? Did the revelation of a less perfect side sway Enid to impulsive, impressive possessiveness.
Enid was back on her feet, Wednesday’s foil in hand, examining the tip, “It’s not the sword’s fault Bianca keeps getting first touch. You’ve been letting your defenses down.”
“It’s a trap. A trap. A plan. To win. One I thought about. A lot.” This was all babble. Wednesday (Wednesday’s version) never EVER babbled. Was never ever flustered. Wednesday (Enid’s version) grabbed the foil back, hugging it, “I always have a plan. And I never fail to execute it.” A pause. This needed something else to finish it off, something convincing. “Don’t tell Bianca.”
Pugsley would have done better, Eugene would have been more eloquent. She hadn’t even threatened Enid with defenestration. Wednesday (Enid’s version) brought both hands up to her face and the hand guard rammed her nose, eyes watering as she winced with pain.
Enid very gently put one hand on Wednesday (Enid’s version)’s shoulder, took the foil back with the other, and led Wednesday (Enid’s version) to her bed.
“You’re red, Wednesday. You probably have a fever. That’s why you’re acting so strange.”
Fever, yes, a deadly fever. Wednesday (Wednesday’s version) snarled at Thing, who was on his side, rocking with laughter.
Wednesday (Enid’s version) stopped. An idea. “Get me soup. Quickly. I’ll die without soup.”
“Okay.” Enid sounded more confused than worried, but soup was a request she could deliver on. “I’ll be right back. Lay down. Thing, make sure she doesn’t strain anything.”
Wednesday (Wednesday’s version) reached for the sword. If she rammed it through her chest with enough velocity, no further conversations would be necessary. Ever.
Enid, worried werewolf reflexes fully activated, dodged. “You’re not getting out of this world that easily, Addams.”
And the wink. And the pouty flirty smily perfect poisoned lips. And Wednesday (Enid’s version) was falling back on her bed, actually feverish, pierced through the heart, head full of ENID ENID ENID ENID ENID ENID.
Alas and most unfortunately, for her now not to be birthed future heirs, Wednesday Addams (all versions) was no Mastermind at existing in the presence of Enid Sinclair’s celestial glow.

what do i love about taylor the most? hmmm.. i think her connection with her fans, honestly. there are many artists who have a lot of fans, but taylor's relationship with swifties is really unique and special. another thing i love about her is her lyrics, the way she can connect with all of us and make us feel seen while telling stories about her life or others.

2022 Year End Fic Review

1. What is your AO3 account?
it is apo_mekhanes -- blame my 2 years of ancient greek and my preference for greek over latin :)
2. How many words did you write total in 2022?
394,596, which feels unhinged because it was also the year of my thesis and graduating university. girl help. this is also not counting original stuff, probably another 30/40k?
3. How many fics did you publish in 2022? How many multichapters vs oneshots?
i unfortunately Do Not finish things often, so let's see. 12 oneshots on ao3 versus 33 multi-chaptereds, but at least 5 of the multi-chapters only have 1 chapter at this time, lol.
4. What was your longest fic? Your shortest fic?
longest: the abner/reader love should make you feel good at 92,012 words, but about half of it was written in '21. shortest: the kieren/simon you can hear it in the silence, for the taylor swift prompt fill, at 463.
5. What was your most popular fic? Your least popular fic?
most popular based on kudos: obviously again love should make you feel good. least popular: between the daylight and the deep sea, the angsty eliot spencer hurt/comfort that was just posted for leverage secret santa in december, at 7 kudos.
6. What fic didn’t perform as well as you thought it would?
ngl i thought people would go for elendil/female character more! maybe i should actually get around to the sex scenes or something. or maybe people just aren't into sub!elendil? much to think about
7. What fic performed way better than you thought it would?
the elrond/durin really exploded in popularity, probably due to being posted in the last week of of ROP airing. i knew people were into the ship but it's like, really popular, which kinda psyched me out of finishing it oops....!!! soon, probably. probably.
8. What was your favorite fic you wrote from 2022?
i'm very partial to my magnum opus and ship i originated and captain all on my own, the elrond/adar crushed by the wheel and reshaped by the gear, as well as the intensely tragic adar/arondir no wasted love. spot the similarities (it's someone loving adar.)
9. What was your favorite fic that somebody else wrote in 2022?
i'm gonna do a 3-way tie. there's ready to serve by @aadmelioraa; this fic rewired my brain. thanks! (crying.) next is @brynnmclean's fell in love with the fire long ago, which made me care about mairon and ship a version of haladriel, to my great shock and dismay. and finally there's a fresh start by @wildwren. unlocked potentials in my mind for arondir/bronwyn, who were lowkey boring to me until this fic made me experience galaxy brain connections. i owe you all my life. i love you rop mutuals (roptuals?)

my favorite or the one i’m listening to the most often changes a lot. but ivy has always been on my regular rotation
but i think it’s tied with ivy and all too well ten minute version bc i personally believe atw is her BEST song
it has everything taylor is best at shows off her best skills, and i mean it’s longer so ofc she has more she can do
it has her best writing and vocal performance i mean she just has such passion behind everything she’s saying i love it
and the short film is just beautiful
i could talk about it for hours lol
so to answer your question it’s ivy and all too well! (but if i had to pick one it would be all too well)
