I love shipping Jon in the TMA fandom because his potential love interests are this:

Guy who was only marginally worse at his Job than Jon was at his own (because he let an animal into the archives). Whenever he sees something he doesn't like he embodies the "I do not see it" meme. Man who is against crime until he personally dislikes the person the crime is being committed against, then it's fine. Bonded with Jon via shared trauma. Thinks Jon is incapable of making his own decisions. Spent most of his life lonely and bitter and without any 0 external or supernatural causes for this. Makes nice tea tho.

Guy who hates Jon because hating Elias would be even more pointless. Was stalked by Jon. Went from expressing fair negative criticisms and Jon not listening to expressing unfair negative criticisms and Jon listening too much. Lost the people he cared about to the thing that eventually destroyed him. More qualified for archival work than the rest of the team and simply because his publishing career gave him the mystical ability to spot errors. Only interaction with cops was sleeping with them for information so he took one look at Jon and Basira and was like "getting a lot of sleeping with cops for information vibes here". Heartbreaking last line before he went on his kayaking trip.

Girl who tried to murder him even after he thought he had tried to talk her out of it. Spent like a year looking at him and thinking "prey". Knife. Was a cop. In the camp of "Jon shouldn't have an opinion, actually, he should shit up." Often held up in comparison to Jon to make him look bad but she just honestly wants to do better. Has traumatic things on common with Jon. Werewolf. Presumably hot tho.

Not-a-guy that has stabbed Jon. Gives good advice in extremely cryptic ways like some kind of fortune teller. Has the skin texture of leather, apparently. A liar but honest about it. Has saved Jon and company on multiple occasions but did so in the creepiest and most villainous ways possible. Wanted to kill Jon. Had revenge fantasies that only involved Jon because he was Alive and There. Also wanted to be Known by Jon, a factor that may have contributed to its death. Died for wanting something clearly and without deceit.

Man who is way more dramatic and evil than he pretends to be. Makes puns that are only funny weeks later when you finally get them. Owns evil contracts. Hired the two people he knew would be most incompetent at archival work for archival work. Gave Jon a bed?? When Jon is stressed he concludes that the solution is More Work. Thinks being human is overrated. So terrified of being a victim that he victimized literally everybody else. "Grinning freak". Lying liar man. Same sense of humor and communication style as Jon tho.

Goth who comes across like a protagonist. Burns cursed books. Could have esaily been a bad person but chose to be good instead. Loathes saving people but begrudgingly does it anyway. Spent his entire life following the orders of old women who scare people. A book appraiser who would be shocked and upset by Jonathan "I only ever read a book once" Sims. Deserves a nap. Unfortunately, he died before Jon could meet him.

Jon is suffering.

I promise not all of these are gonna be Disney themed lol I'm just a Muriel simp (if you couldn't tell) and when I originally came up with the Disney princess idea Muriel as Hercules started rotting a hole through my brain so here we are! Also, we're gonna get some side character/familiar action here as well, yay!

Let's face it bro is the villain in every route but his own and the cynical, "better than thou" personality that they both share just fits so well

Plus this version of Hades is a Satan analog who makes binding deals with others for his own benefit, and doesn't that sound like a certain devil we all know?

Not to mention both of them are trying to escape the realms they've been assigned & make themselves god king of everything

Morga - Phil

And now we get to the fun characters outside the M6

I will admit, Phil is a lot nicer than Morga, but jaded older mentor figure trying to make up for failed prodigies fits

Plus, Morga was Muriel's mentor in his route

I feel like both also fit into the role of proud parent figure by the end of their respective stories

And both are disapproving of their pupil's romances lol

Inanna - Pegasus

Admittedly Inanna is a bit more no-nonsense than Pegasus is, but she can still be goofy and fun when she wants to

Incredibly supportive of their human companions, important assets in battle, their appearance started the main character on a path for a better and more fulfilling life

Not much else to say here it just works

Vlastomil and Volta - Pain & Panic

Honestly idk if I can fit Vulgora and Valdemar into the Hercules narrative, but at least I could get these two in here

Vlastomil is Pain and Volta is Panic; I realize both could probably fit into Panic's role as they are the more timid and mild mannered courtiers, but I've chosen things this way because Volta is a little bit more flighty and afraid to commit crimes like Panic, where as Vlastomil is a bit more bold (when he's allowed to be) and better fits Pain

There's also the whole shape shifting deal they can all do

Khamgalai - Zeus

This one.....is a bit weird ngl, I'm still not quite sure about it

Honestly this is the ONLY time I will conflate someone so near & dear to my heart with Zeus

Mostly this all fits into the "detached/secret family member" archetype

And....I mean Zeus in this narrative at least is actually very kind & caring, as well as a proud dad which is similar enough to Khamgalai to work ok

Plus they both act as a guide for the main character when they're trying to find/drifting away from the plot a little bit

Merf (my MC) - Meg

I know what you're thinking

And I'm going to state once again that I am a huge Muriel simp

My MC is also a self insert, and for as long as I can remember I've always identified the most with Meg, more than any of the other Disney women

Anyone who has read my fic, seen the stuff I've posted about my character either on this blog or others, or even just talked to me on the arcana discord started by @iliveforyouilongforyouvesuvia can probably see that our personalities are very similar

Meg is very special to me as a character and I'm literally writing a post about mashing together my beloved and one of my favorite Disney movies, I'm not apologizing for conflating her with myself

HI I SEE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT DANGRANOPA AGAIN!!! i should not be on tumblr rn but i'd like to ask on what you think about the whole remnant brainwashing thing revealed on the danganronpa 3 (i think it was 3??) anime. I have. Thoughts on this topic n im curious about yours aswell :D (also your post on the patterns in danganronpa is so <333 honestly my only observation that differs is that the chapter 2 murders were caused by the motives themselves, its a bit of a stretch on the first game but its there sksksksks)

ohhhhh……… i hate hate HATE the brainwashing thing so much. it’s so bad and honestly ruins a LOT of what makes the remnants so interesting to me. i pretend it does not exist.

because like. they had everything laid out for them. there was SO MUCH they could’ve done to explain why the remnants fell into despair. i would imagine the class was already going through it with the death of fuyuhiko’s sister. it would’ve been easy for junko to start pulling the strings from there, to make them slowly fall into despair, only to use chiaki’s death/execution as the final tipping point.

it feels so much more impactful for despair to have been a Choice, at least to some extent. it’s worse to have them turn to it, to be pushed to their limits and fall from grace in such a horrible and shocking way. brainwashing is just. what’s the point? there’s no conflict. all the crimes they committed while remnants? well it’s okay because they were brainwashed ^_^ that wasn’t ACTUALLY them, silly ^_^ it’s also a total fucking cop-out and ruins miterai’s character. like what the fuck do you mean the ultimate animator’s work is only so widely beloved because he found out about subliminal mind control. it should be widely beloved because he’s. yknow. the best at his craft. he should animate so well it blows people’s dicks off. everyone else gets to have their titles because they’re insanely skilled at their craft but he gets it because mind fuckery?? imagine if mikan was the ultimate nurse because she figured out placebo bullshit instead of actual nursing. what’s the point of an ultimate title if your fame and prestige don’t actually come from your skill and instead brainwashing everyone into thinking you’re the best.

as much as udg sucks ass, they did the despair thing RIGHT. we saw the warriors be pushed to the edge, have despair offered to them as a way out, and fall to it. and they turned away!! they realized they’d been manipulated and lied to and chose to make up for their actions!! you KNOW you fucked up when udg does something better than you.

so yeah 👍 i hate it and actively ignore its existence. 2 me junko did the same thing she did with the warriors and manipulated and pushed class 77 into despair in a more natural and believable way. miterai gets to stay tho bc i love him

I'm ambivert,I'm very laid back and prefer to go with the flow of life but sometimes come off as ego-centric and domineering. I have to admit I’m a lazy person who prefers having a leisure more than anything else. But once i find my motivation I'm actually pretty hardworking, I won't stop or take breaks until i completely finish what I started. I mostly spends my time as a stoic and a calm person and i might even come off as apathetic towards the world around me [even tho I’m not]. I’m usually perceived as being insensitive because i generally prefer to deal with emotions in my own head rather than openly [and somehow I'm still well liked?!] tbh I often think I’m above others, yet I am always willing to acknowledge that I’m a total piece of shit [very rarely tho] Sometimes i have fantasies and ideals that I want to start creating or becoming but i give myself a reality check and let the dream fade away. I’m very innovative but still choose the practical route a lot. It’s easy for me to create goals and envision the end results but it’s ridiculously hard for me to remain committed to the process.

I have a very big ego but one word alone is enough to destroy it. i Will never admit my wrong, unless internally. I'm playful around people i like [friends, family, classmates] and if I believe I'm right I'll passive agressivly fight you to prove my point [even if I'm wrong]. Like i said i have hard time committing to something i loose interest, motivation and get bored rather easily. If I'm stressed about something i bottle everything up and worry about it alone. Not because I don't want to burden other or anything simply because my pride and ego is getting in my way. I'm not really a jealous person and even if i get jealous i keep it to myself and try my best to hide it. I care about what others think of me [more like what others think of my parents] so towards strangers and people that know my parents I'm very polite and despite my "intimidating" appearance i try to be welcoming and friendly to others [by others I don't mean everyone, i mean people who i would like to be friends with or I'm already friends with and people who know my parents]

I tend to get bored of things easily or i get insecure that I won't be able to complete it and overthinking things and give up on it so i try not to plan ahead. I notice negative traits in people [myself included] before good traits. I always try to be realistic but my overthinking turns me into negative person. I'm very future orientated person so i pick things depending on how useful it'll be for me in the future. Getting angry, yelling, insulting and being agressive in general is my defense mechanism when I'm sad or in an argument. I'm very prideful and stubborn person I actually like socializing but usually i can't find the topic to talk about with people. I LOVE talking about myself but I'd rather die than share my struggles, feelings and personal things similar to this. I'm taking them to grave. I'm pretty biased person. I hate when people insult me even when they don't mean it and they're jocking not even i insult myself. I'm better at socializing older people than people my age. I like to think that I'm a great listener but I'm insecure about my reactions to their stories. Even if i find it funny i find it hard to express it on my face. I like arguments [not with my loved ones]

Tbh i actually like to socialize and speak to people. I love to speaking especially on subjects such as what is moral or immoral, psychological and philosophical stuff, gender equality, crime stuff and etc.

I'm 5'10, i have medium length dark red hair [more like wine red] in a layered haircut [it almost looks like a wolfcut]. I have brown almond eyes, straight nose and lips I'm not unaware shape of but it's medium size, not big but not small either. I also have multiple beauty mark on my face, one on my chin, one on my nose, one on my right cheek but it's closer to my mouth and one on my left cheek closer to my eye.

I like horror genre [movies, books, analogue horror and etc], watching movies, listening to true. I love music especially indie and rock music. i like Researching and learning more about myself. I love reading greek mythology and Japanese urban legends. I'm interested in psychology and philosophy. I also find researching about demonology and ancient religions interesting. I love Victorian/romantic/vampire gothic aesthetic I'm also very in love with gothic novels. I wouldn't really consider this as a hobby cause i do it once or twice a year but i also play volleyball and piano. I also really love spicy food. Red is my favourite colour and cats and snakes are my favourite animals.

I may not be a religious person but i love Christinan themed paintings, sculptures and buildings. I also love interior designs of orthodox churches, it may look creepy but it also has it's allure and charm to it.

I hate very loud places but i also hate places that are very quiet. I dislike sweet food, dogs, romance movies[i love romance genre just not in movies], "Pinterest goth" aesthetic, sweating, heat, smell of mushrooms, math, my math teacher, losing.

My biggest fear is getting old.

As for my idea type I value honesty and loyalty, I'm more attracted [romantically or platonically] to people who are confident in themselves and their abilities. I also value partner/friend that isn't overprotective and allows me my independence and let's me do things my way. I don't think i have a specific type i just want my partner to keep me entertained as i tend to get bored rather easily.

to provide more info, i based her character off of lucille mulhall. to put it simply, she's the first cowgirl originated from missouri. in this case, i made margaret's mother to be lucille. margaret made it her life goal to look for her mother, it is an irl canon event that lucille lives in st. louis so i made that margaret's destination.

margaret lives off as a ship hopper (is that a word) ever since she was of legal age. she's a mercenary who takes on jobs under a certain handler, it is an informal employment. i would cook some bullshit and say this employment is aided by someone who raised her. her father is... well... i haven't cooked up something for that yet 😩

she is scared of dogs LMAO that's why i made an art for it. i just find ppl scared of dogs really cute. most dogs are scared of new ppl too so they're just scared of each other it's the CUTEST thing 🥺.

in terms of personality, margaret is somewhat similar to robin hood. does crime for good? helps people but also breaks the law? a kindhearted criminal? she steals, knows her way around danger, very daring, may or may not have k1lled someone 🫣, slept around some places for certain conditions, and have SEEN some shit. her ideals are way too similar to a pirate tho, fuck the govt and celestial dragons kinda shit. she doesn't have a stigma against pirates, she have worked (mostly betrayed) with them side by side. she just hasn't really sat herself down to assess if she'll join one. she doesn't see the need for it (until she met kidd 🤧), she has a one track mind that is only set on reaching st. louis.

but i'm planning to have her join bc she saved kidd from the marines so there's some you-owe-me kinda stuff between them, she only saved kidd to let him have her on the ship and take her to st. louis. she'll only plan to stay on the ship until the victoria reaches the island and in the span of her stay, stuff will build up between margaret and kidd 🥰. once she leaves tho, kid'll begrudgingly ask her to be become part of the crew, chemistry is just too strong in this one😌. let's just say he'll miss her 😞. i'll do better explaining in the comic i'll make I SWEAR 🥺

5 Anti LO Asks

(Note: All of these asks are before episode 206 (Season 2 finale) so some may be dated.) 1. to me if the narrative was just honest hades is a shitty person then id probably love how awful he is, but no instead it's rachel insisting he's actually this perfect romantic lead and everything he does is good and just when thats not true?? like I don't think she means it to be this way, but it (hopefully accidentally) comes across as her excusing/romanticizing a predatory, abusive man who borderline gr//ms persephone into being his "perfect' bride and we're just not supposed to notice.

2. I would think, bc Persephone wanted to use the trial to distract from her crimes to instead be like "look! i'll be the white savior and free the good slaves!" I have thought Hades, in the 10+ years she'd been away would have, maybe, implemented that system? To make the place more equal and see her plan come to fruition? But I guess he would rather make the slaves work even MORE and make everyone else miserable than even do ONE decent thing for once. He's literally so awful it's insane.

3. I don’t know if I’ll be able to articulate this, but Zeus and Minthe are more “enjoyable” antagonists than Persphone and Hades as protagonist.

With Minthe and Zeus, I feel like their characters are more well rounded? Minthe hates Persephone, but stands up to Thetis when she needed to and broke it off with Thanatos when Hades agreed to be more serious committed relationship. But also her goals and motives are clear, and recognizes her flaws even if it doesn’t always push her to be better (but honestly the way hades forced her out, I too would lose my shit) Zeus is a cheating, scum bag husband, paranoid king. But he does love (most) his family, like his new relationship with Artemis I adore because of what Artemis has been through and I love how she’s not even fully comfortable with him either. Zeus isn’t even half wrong to be paranoid about Persephone, he now know he has an air plotting against him (with reason for his mother getting banished) and Zeus knew that Persephone and Apollo are somewhat associated with each other.

Zeus and Minthe have done some terrible things BUT they’ve stayed true to their character and have even had better development. And it too less time too compared to Persephone and Hades.

Persephone-I don’t know where to begin with her character. At first we believe she didn’t have real friends because all the nymphs were lowkey spies of Demeter and Artemis was her real female friend (was she being classist because she’s a goddess?) (she also seems to heavily favor Hermes) but season two she did have 2 friends that were murdered and at the end of season two these two friends didn’t have names. Nor did we learn anything about them personally other than Persephone made them (what were they like? How could we tell them apart from Persephone and each other, they’re both highlighter pink). Persephone is first semester into school and is studying biology I think. After hanging out with Hades for like 3 weeks or something she wants a law major and become a citizen of the underworld (EVEN THO SHE JUST MOVED IN WITH ARTEMIS) she has HUNDREDS OF YEARS TO LIVE JUST FINISH THE FIRST DEGREE YOUVE BEEN IN CLASS FOR 2 weeks. And then Persephone doesn’t fully realize her actions on situations even when characters point them out to her. Her class mates “are you sleeping to the top” Minthe “my ex will spoil you like he did me” Zeus “you can’t get what you want just like my brother use to do with you.” Hades literally shielded Persephone from the law for a long ass time, they shared a bed, Persephone is the first paid intern, she has new clothes, tried take out, bunch of pens, lingerie (gross coming from an old man), all thanks to Hades! And are those characters wrong? NO! Sure the context of each comment wasn’t good, but they’re not wrong.

AND THEN HADES? WHAT IS HE SUPPOSE TO BE, tragic oldest lonely sibling past, beginning of the story misunderstood/bad man/lonely, to mess, to groomer predator, to obsessive “I will burn the world down if I can’t get my barely legal wife sorry I mean gf” What I can’t get behind his character is we’re never shown him enjoying Minthe as a partner, yet he picked her, and apparently has begged her to stay, but we never see him actually enjoying her company which makes it so hard for me to take his part of the relationship seriously. I’m sorry RS if you want to sell me their relationship I gotta see them actually happy where he’s not fantasying about a pink highlighter. And then his relationship with his family, I don’t like him as a Hera/cheater even tho Leuce is also in Greek mythology (if there was a first love route) how does he feel fine being around Zeus?How do Hera and him not look at each other in disgust and further more Persephone is Hera’s niece who is still hella young by their standards . Hades is also dick as a boss and king. He’s literally giving special treatment to the hot young (unqualified) intern. And treated his (assume older than Persephone) foster son like shit. BUT WERE SUPPOSE TO ROOT FOR THIS CHARACTER???

4. Regardless of what her intentions are (and for the life of me I don't get how Rachel thinks making Hades OWNING SLAVES is a good idea) slavery to even non-Americans is tied to the subjugation and abuse of BIPOC people, especially Africans. I'm not saying she is racist, but can you really blame anyone for thinking so when she writes and glorifies stuff like this? Donating once to a BLM charity when it was popular to do so two years ago doesn't change the fact she's doing this in 20-goddamn-22.

5. I think one of the issues with Lore Olympus is that it started (well as an original anyway) 4 years ago and like. Not much has happened at all??? Like no wonder people get tired and stop reading this comic

Disclaimer I am ranking them as fictional characters because that's what they are, obviously real-life would rank wildly different. Audience likeability comes into it. The biggest crime a fictional character can commit is irritate the audience, and the murders didn't actually happen. Anyway,

Vivian - the perfect commander to introduce FG actually. she was cool, she was charming, everyone loved her. she made good decisions and dealt with shit well I think. good commander all round. what more do you need. ALTHOUGH my issues with zombie island do impact her ranking because she was a believer in it and I have so many issues with zombie island so overall 8/10 because she was epic and a good leader but her long-term plan was extremely shaky

Chase - I liked Chase. he had to deal with a lot more than he bargained for honestly and that's Carey's fault. also I've said this before but Major didn't help. Major complicated a lot for Chase and he's also the one that gave him the advice that made him go ahead with the OG Renegade execution that made him a villain. honestly I don't have any big issues with Chase. I think he tried his best. I think the circumstances got to him a bit but I don't think he did significantly worse than anyone else would've. I'm giving him a 7/10 because he did the best he could and I can't hold that against him

Major - listen. as a character, I like Major. when he's interacting with Liv and Ravi I'm like 'this guy :D' the moment he's at FG tho. brother. this guy not cut out to be a commander. you cannot lead a military government just because you're the most popular with the bros. Hobbs did a misjudge on that. Major doesn't DO anything. there are actual hatecrimes happening and he's like "we cant do anything about it or it'll look bad :/" like DUDE. like CMON. some of his men were killed in action because of his lax policies and he's like "I can give you their backstories. no justice only backstory." sir I know you're in over your head but a little effort. also I think FG just brought out the worst in Major even before he was commander. not even talking about the child soldiers, just his general character. like go home and play video games with Ravi man you're scaring me :( but yeah that's why we're here at 2/10 because he was too worried about being as uncontroversial as possible to actually do he job

Enzo - READ MY USERNAME AND WEEP. THIS MAN CAN DO NO WRONG AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED. IF HE WANTS TO DO A LITTLE KILLING SOBEIT. HES EARNED IT. but in seriousness I'm not fully convinced he knew what he was doing. props to him for wanting to stick up for zombies and put an end to the hategroups tho. but his way of going about things was.... perhaps terrible? but like he tried to get anyone else to do it. finally decided "be the change you want to see in the world new seattle" and then proceeded to stumble and fall on his face. the effort was there. the civil war didn't help his public image either. in terms of leadership, solid 4/10 because his heart was in the right place, he had potential, but he definitely could've done a lot better (sorry bro)

Which one is more fond of scary movies: Hmmmm I think as an actual thing to watch and enjoy probably Hank, but Jan often suggests them as an excuse for some snuggles :) she actively avoids them in every other context tho

Which one gets the most excited about Halloween: Janet absolutely loves to go all out for Halloween and make super elaborate couples costumes that really make everyone else look like the bargain bin beside, Hank's just happy to be there. To be honest I don't know if Hank had a strong Halloween experience as a child beyond The Corn.

Which one would be more likely to survive the apocalypse: Hmm.... if writers didn't have a hate boner for Hank constantly and liked to kill him probably Hank, but as Hank is fun to kill in apocalypse AUs Janet. I think generally Janet wants to help more than Hank does and I could easily see her dying in like a Zombie Apocalypse really easy trying to help civilians, while Hank would think more about the bigger picture and shrink him and his lab down somewhere hidden where he can try and work on a cute or a way out or something.

Which one would literally kill for the other: Both of them to be honest but Hank's more likely to succeed (war flashbacks of Ults Hank eating Blob's head that one time)

Which one likes to scare or startle the other: Janet, I think she absolutely gets a kick about very suddenly growing in front of Hank to scare the shit out of him and it always works.

Which one is more likely to need comforting when they get spooked: Janet definitely I think, both exaggerating and genuinely needing comfort when she's scared. She's a very... physical person like that and feels better touching her loved ones, while I don't think Hank needs a whole lot when scared but needs more support in times of grief or loss.

Which one always puts on a brave face: Both of them, comes with the job, Hank does it more but Janet is better at it generally.

Which one would be more dangerous if they suddenly became violent: Both of them tbh but I'll go with Janet, Hank is ultimately A Normal Human Man while Janet is underrated in her strength with her bio blasts n stuff.

Which one would be more likely to commit a crime: Hank is more likely to commit mild crime like stealing or property damage or smoking weed in places where it's not legalised but Janet would like Get In Serious Trouble for embezzling or some shit.

Which one believes in ghosts: Hank but he doesn't admit it ever but he knows not to Fuck Around And Find Out in certain scenarios.

Which one likes to watch spooky show on television: hmmm I'm not sure, again Hank by himself but Janet will if they're both watching together.

Which one would propose the idea of holding a seance: Janet, she thinks it's fun while Hank again is like Do Not Fuck Around And Find Out but Janet is all about Finding Out.

Which one has nightmares more often: Both of them to be honest but Janet is slightly better at working through her issues or at least more willing to try and work out the problem while Hank.... Hank I dont think even admits he's traumatised from watching Maria die, let alone any of the other shit so he absolutely gets pretty bad nightmares

Which one would want to explore a real haunted house: Janet, but she would start to try and scare the other guests halfway through bc she would probably think the whole thing was tacky.

A bit more of a fun ask from my last one,

So, post (very post) possession story, Sparklez and Tom get back from their isles side story and it takes almost a month for Jordan to find out that Capsize is alive and kicking. Someone lets it slip (not that they’ve been keeping that from him, it’s just never come up in convo and Capsize is lowkey avoiding him)

“Oh if you wanna know more about that you should ask Capsize.”

“….ask Capsize?”

“Yea you could probably find her with Spark or Alyssa or—“

“She’s Alive???”

“…”

And Jordan goes to Spark and finds Capsize there, fishing or playing cards like just being friendly, and the interaction between him and Capsize gets intense really quickly. Jordan ends up calling “Trial!” because Capsize implied that the S.S Jerry sinking had something to do with her. This turns into a courtroom drama with Spark as Capsize’s lawyer and Andor as Jordan’s.

Because when your items are stolen or your base griefed well then ya better call conway!

I’ve pitted the man who wrote the book on dagrun law vs the guy who abided by it, so it ends with them just arguing Dagrun laws even tho none if any are applicable in the s1 realm.

Who’s the judge? I don’t know because if you make it Ianite she definitely suffers from Capsize favoritism (it’s chronic), so she’d be biased. But they definitely have a jury of their peers made up of everyone else.

I… I just love this so much. This whole situation is so funny and it's great.

The idea of Jordan just not realising Capsize is alive because she's been avoiding him is so funny but genuinely in character for both of them. Jordan is completely baffled by the fact that no one thought to mention this, meanwhile Capsize is really worrying that Jordan might still be really misinterrupting their relationship and is just not in the mood for that. And yeah, that first interaction is going to be so awkward, even before the arguing starts.

As for the whole trial, I can definitely see Jordan wanting one and then getting annoyed that Capsize is not taking it seriously at all. Mostly because Jordan had something to do with her original ship sinking so sinking one of his should be fair game. Spark has told her that she can't say that out loud, but like she sees no consequences even if she's found guilty of this.

Spark and Andor being the lawyers is so funny because I imagine the one major change to the laws since Spark left (other than the whole Mianite being the one true god thing) is that the death penalty was introduced for so many petty crimes. Despite this not being an important difference because they aren't going to kill Capsize even if she is guilty, Spark is just a bit concerned about what the hell happened.

I guess the judge would end up being Jeriah? Maybe Mianite if they manage to actually get him to show up for this nonsense. I can't think of anyone else they could argue not having a bias. The jury is definitely just there to be entertained by the mess that's unfolding.

For a couple of stupid ideas of that could happen: -- Capsize insisting any crimes she commited before being revived no longer count because she died between then and now. -- Everyone really insisting that they thought Jordan knew Capsize was alive. -- Multiple discussions about if certain people should really be on the jury because they they clearly have a bias towards one of the two, with the decision being that the biases end up balancing each other out.

i literally do not think there was any law out there at that time that states that they'd arrest another family member if the one who committed a crime wasn't present?? i mean i know like it was a colonization thing and the filipinos were heavily, heavily oppressed but i was thinking about if there were still any laws involved in this that i don't know about. does this make sense.

though granted the only thing we learned at school about laws in the spanish colonization era was the polo y servicio & nothing else, and to dive into the criminal laws in the Philippines in the 1800s at 12 AM is very tempting but i can't because i don't have the brain cells for it. i'm so sorry 😭 but even if that was validated by the law - which grants executions anyway?? actually??? and the system was GREATLY unjust and unfair towards Filipinos??? why is this mind-boggling sorry i'm very stupid HGSHGSHGAH - that was still unjust, tyrannic bullshit. and i wanna fucking fight simoun for being delighted at all literally fuck him

what type of people would each of the great kingdom leaders if they hadnt been thrust into power? would they be better or worse off for it?

That's a good question. I had to think about this one for a while...Realistically I think there are many different possibilities, but these are just ones that came to mind first.

Gultopp Folkvar: A regular, blue-collar Folkvaran dude. I think his personality would stay the same, but the biggest change would be the way he treats his daughter, Sygbarne. He wouldn't hide her away if his leadership position wasn't at stake, but I think he would still make misguided attempts to "cure" her disabilities. Overall I imagine he'd be the same but with a little more chill.

Marghan Matuzu: Douchebag kid who spends half of his life in prison for dumb shit like doing drugs and assaulting people. Money is the only thing protecting his ass currently.

Chua Lamai: Obviously wouldn't be a medusa, so whether they were born male or female, I think they would still gravitate towards religion and end up becoming a Serpentist priest or something.

Roz Yerim-Mor: Roz genuinely wants to help his people, but his leadership position has ironically prevented him from doing that because it makes him a target for the Divine of Hate to manipulate. If he were free of his leadership duties, he'd be free of Disgrace's influence too, and I think he would probably volunteer for the Divine of Love.

Qara Zareen: Qara's larger-than-life personality would snag her a rich husband or three, and she would suck all of their wallets dry before moving on to the next. Now I ain't saying she's a gold digger, but...

Indiga Evangeline: She would probably just be your typical, stuck-up, upper-class Evangelite woman. Makes slaves do all her chores for her, so she spends her days wandering around town, spending her husband's money, and getting involved with the House of Humanity (Lindist church). I think she would do some charitable acts though, because despite her extreme ignorance, there is part of her that does want to help others.

Oberon Mogdir: Oberon's charisma would land him in a high-paying position no matter what he did, but his sociopathy would guide him towards more unscrupulous jobs. I think he'd be a CEO, minor politician, or some kind of crime lord.

Hethor Etios: Hethor is so adamantly true to herself, she would be exactly the same. Nothing would change at all. She'd just have less power to throw armies around and enact bigoted policies. She'd become the head of her household, ruling over a bunch of husbands and her kids instead of a whole nation.

Titania of the Seelie: Titania might actually be better off if she gave up her leadership position. As it is, she hates her role as queen and wants to leave, but she's too scared of change. She's been sitting on that throne for so long that the thought of doing anything else paralyzes her with fear. I think she would just disappear into the wilderness, build herself a cottage, and live a quiet, simple existence away from everyone.

Morgause of the Unseelie: She'd mouth off to the wrong person and get killed immediately. She's too insane to function without all her money and power.

Serafeen of Damijana: Serafeen would also be better off. She would still gravitate towards science and engineering, and without the burden of leadership she'd be able to devote herself to it fully. Without her money and power, she would be forced to work within the confines of the law, and that means no fucked up experiments on living people...She could probably invent great things that benefit Allkind.

Sovereign of Aquaria: Sovereign also might be better off. He was a healer earlier in his life, before he inherited all the money and power from his royal parents, so I think he would have just stayed in that position and helped people. He wouldn't have enough power or time to protest and commit acts of violence upon Terriankind. It's possible he would have still tested his experimental treatments on Mr. Ocean though. Or maybe not, since there would be no throne at stake and therefore little inventive to cripple Ocean? It's hard to say with him.

uhhh i wanna say........ 3? i have the pair i actually wear, i have an old pair that i havent thrown out, and im PRETTY sure i have the cream converse i bought in college for my 10th doctor cosplay.

im pretty good at ff14 raiding. everything else is like. skills ive never been talented at but ive worked on for years.

17. Who would be your ideal partner?

if this is like a 'who' as in an example of a person, i dont have an answer. but if its just describing someone, it has to be a girl who's nice to me, can spend a lot of time with me, and it needs to be an exclusive relationship. im a very fragile, very lonely, and very jealous person and ive learned that i cant compromise on these things or ill just get myself hurt over and over. beyond that, it would be good if shes a better person than i am so i have something to aim for. anything else is like, just unnecessary benefits? it would be nice if she'd raid with me, it would be nice if shes a redhead, but like. its fine if not.

thats a hard question. i do wanna get married someday and i dont wanna just go sign a paper at the courthouse but i dont have any connection to the church anymore but i do like the idea of committing blasphemy by being a trans lesbian marrying a woman in a church. who knows. id probably just get married somewhere else.

if ive got a script to read! i did a lot of accents when playing through ace attorney. cant guarantee they were good or accurate but like. i did them. EXTREMELY bad at german though. had to keep doing that for fucking klavier. awful time.

the aforementioned 10th doctor cosplay for sure

there was a fuckin pasta stir fry i had in israel when i visited and it was the best thing ive ever eaten but i have no idea what it was or how to make it.

ive talked about her a lot but it was this cute redheaded girl when i was in 8th grade. it did not go well! i was so so so bad at socialising in school and i freaked her out and she didnt like me. i have evidence that we became friends by late high school but all my memory of that disappeared when i went to college. she got married a few years back. shes still both my ideal gender and gf appearance.

im surprisingly fast when i need to be. my legs are the only part of my body that has any muscle mass in them. dont have much stamina though anymore.

the hell does this even mean lol. its okay i guess
