Summary :

When the whole world comes crashing down on you and you realize that none of the people or things you love bring you fulfillment or stability anymore, what is a girl meant to do? Is the breakdown supposed to be pretty? Graceful, maybe? Is the girl supposed to say “I need help, I feel like I am on the edge of a breakdown, please coddle me”? Is the girl supposed to post inspiring things on the internet about overcoming her hardships and becoming a better person after a period of healing? There was no better person buried inside of her.

After being humiliated during a sparring match, Sakura realizes that she no longer wants to base her future on a boy who doesn't even like her. With a newfound sense of determination, she sets off to become a truly terrifying kunoichi, making her fair share of friends and enemies along the way.

In other words, Sakura discovers who she really wants to be and fucks shit up along the way. And if she poisons a few important people? Well, that's just collateral damage.

Copycat - self-insert!uchiha izumi/hatake kakashi wip

Cheating in tests of sorts in her old world was viewed as something wrong, however, as a Shinobi, copying those around you means surviving. After being reborn as a person destined to die in a clan massacre, you could say, she's high on using that skill to stay alive.

Slightly Off-Shade - gen wip

Nara Shikamari could have done without being reborn, especially into such a...less than ideal world. But reborn she was, and she had already done the whole "die a hero" thing, so this time around, she's just gonna do whatever she wants.

Besides, Naruto was a basic shounen with a happy ending. She can't imagine anything she does having any real impact on the story.

I’m just imagining Shikimaru and Temari trying to schedule a date between Jonin missions and Shikimaru being like “hm what’s a good spot for a date where no one will bother us?? oh I know, Nara Clan Forest!” But the deer don’t like outsiders so in preparation he has to steal her hair band or something and show it to the animals so he can be like “smell this person? she is friend. FRIEND. if you kick my girlfriend in the face I will be having venison for dinner, you hear me?”

And his dad witnesses this and is like “ah yes, I remember back when I first took my girlfriend to the Nara Clan Forest. I did not warn the deer before hand. It was not fun. I am happy to know that my son is not a fucking idiot like I was” and then just carries on with his day.
