I don't really need any shoujo second season. What I need is Last Game to be finally animated. Give me shoujo set in college!
Well, actually, the story starts when they're kids, and it's kinda like Special A where Party A is always trying to beat Party B because the latter is better in everything. But unlike Special A, it's the guy who's competitive, and the girl is just the most chill person ever. This one is also more realistic. And the sloooooow burn is so good. I never got to finish the manga, but the guy pining was so delicious and how the girl got to realize her feelings was so endearing. I think I was actually pretty close to the ending, I just got tired of waiting for updates lol

One of the most wholesome (if not the MOST wholesome) and cutest family-focused manga I've ever read! 🥰
SO thankful my volume four came yesterday because I plan to dive into it today as this josei always makes my heart feel lighter! (Which is exactly what I need after a stressful day yesterday!)
HIGHLY recommend if you need something super fluffy to read! 🥹

Anne Halford gives me so much tohru energy it's unreal, she's kind and sweet. Her mother just died while her father died before and she speaks up against injustices that are way older/beyond her. She honestly gives me vibes that she's tohru's younger sister, cuz on top of all those she's headstrong and just some days wakes up and chooses violence. I absolutely adore her!! Totally recommend watching saft, the first two episodes might be a bit slow but then after ep 4 it really kicks off!! I've only watched upto ep 6 and I am totally loving it so far!!

Heya! Since you’re highly recommending it, what’s Akatsuki no Yona about? I haven’t been able to watch anything for a while but you’ve got me curious
hiiiiii! it’s a little hard to explain it without spoiling it, but basically,
*big inhale, I’ve been waiting for this question for months*
it’s about the mc, princess Yona, who grew up sheltered and spoiled. when she turns 16, her life is flipped upside on it’s head, and she’s rudely awoken to reality and decides to take the kingdom affairs into her own hands in her own way.
there’s also a legend about four dragon warriors that she investigates in hopes of having them help her. the legend about the four dragons isn’t very well known, but it entails four people who got powers from dragons, in order to protect the crimson dragon king. the crimson dragon king became human and his dragon ‘brothers’ gave their blood/powers to four humans so that those humans would protect the king.
and there’s a little connection between the two plots👀
it’s also hilarious, heartbreaking, wholesome, sad, and the characters and their relationships and growth is great. all in all it’s a really good anime and 100% recommend it

You Should Be Reading Skip Beat!!
I always find my way back to this video by Colleen's Manga Recs on YouTube. I think the video was very well put together and I wish I could see more content about Skip Beat in this fun and informative format. Ever since I first saw this, I can't help calling Ren my "sweet cheese", that's my new nickname for him!

Anime of the day Pride Month: Manaria Friends
This is a short series. It's about two girls who go to a magical academy. Both are princesses in their own way, one a half-dragon and the other is physically normal. This is like a fantasy slice of life. The two girls both struggle with fairly normal feelings: isolation, body dysmorphia, and uselessness. These two find companionship in one another creating a friendship. It’s very clear and straightforward.

Any magical girl anime recs that aren't too long? I feel like most shows have tons of episodes or even dozens of seasons and movies, and no hate to those but I don't have enough time to invest in most of them, but I still really want to watch these types of shows
