"edie, wait - "
she turned, though the smile that she had been prepared with quickly faltered once edith saw henry.
"...oh." was all she managed.
"oh?" henry was smiling, an eagerness in his eyes that she didn't have the heart to argue with. "that's all?"
"of course not, henry," edie relented, pulling her friend into a hug and holding tight, as if her arms along might keep him here in britchester. they were in their final year, so close to graduating and sorting our the rest of their lives. but who knew if they would even get that chance now.
"hey, don't," his voice was gentle, nudging her back enough to see the tears threatening to spill. "i'll be back before you know it, alright? you'll see."
"you'd better," somehow she managed a small laugh, charmed again by the same farm boy naivete that he'd first come to the university with four years ago. "i mean it. don't make me come all the way out there myself to drag you back."
for the first time, his mood faltered. something nervous passed over his face, perhaps a short lived understanding of the gravity of what he was being sent into. "i won't," he said quietly.
"i'll miss you," she said, tugging at his arm like a child. "all of you."
"but me specifically, yeah?" there it was again, that self assured grin.
"you specifically," she confirmed, leaning close. "yes."

Damn, pretentious traumatised men driven to their downfall by their obsessive pursuit of knowledge and their poet boyfriends who take care of them. Real not fake.

Michael: Timer starts now! When is he coming back? I say two months!
Molten Freddy: That’s bullshit! One month.
Henry: Nah, half a month.
Scrap Baby, sobbing: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! DADDY JUST DIED!
Lefty, scratching chin in thought: One week.

This beautifully embroidered gown was first spotted on an extra in the 1969 film Anne of the Thousand Days. It’s possible that it originated with this film, but it is also plausible that the costume came from an earlier production.
The Carry On films are well known to have reused many costumes from earlier productions, and so it is no surprise that this piece was seen again in 1971 by Joan Sims as Queen Marie in Carry on Henry.
It’s possible that the costume was used further after 1971, as auction photos of the piece show an added ribbon around the neckline, as well as a different skirt.
In 2007, this dress was auctioned off by Bonhams in the auction entitled The Angels Star Collection of Film & TV Costumes, where the piece was described as follows:
A Tudor style Dress and matching cape, both being of heavily embroidered patterned fabric, dress with boned bustier, edged with applied gold braid, sleeves revealing heavily embroidered lining and laced back, labeled “Angels & Bermans The Costumiers to the Entertainment Industry.”
The piece ultimately sold for $1050.

I will drag you into a fandom you initially had no interest in to the point where you end up see deep in it that you decide to make a deeply cursed and incredibly chaotic piece of fan media

3rd Year with the Fredericks!
To the people who voted for Alfie’s kids pics as a YA + Rainny’s kids too, you guys won by a landslide so here’s your prize! 😂 Thank you for helping me decide what to give you all for my 3rd year here on simblr dot com ❤
I can’t believe I’m still here and still somehow haven’t got bored of these pixels yet. I think my love for them kept growing? 😭 Anyways, thank you for reading my story and following my silly little pixels and their life! Thank you to those who still stood next to me and to the new people I’ve been talking to, I hope you won’t get bored of me lol 🥹
My resolution this year is to not take everything too seriously, be it with my work, personal life, or hobbies. So I’m just going to try and be as chill as I can and just try to live life peacefully 😌✌🏽
Again, I would like to thank my readers and friends for being around and reading my story. I enjoyed writing this story and I hope you guys enjoyed reading what I have been giving you all for the past 3 years 😊 I can’t promise to be here forever, everything must come to an end at one point and for now, I just want to enjoy what time I have left here by telling the story of my favourite pixels. And I hope you guys would be there to enjoy it too 😊❤
As always, I hope you guys have a great day, stay healthy, and stay safe!
Love,
Nina ❤

winterfest, 1910
dear anna,
happy winterfest, or new year depending on when this reaches you. i managed to make my way down to brindleton bay in time for the holiday. we all missed you, of course, though i know the work you are doing across the sea is important.
lucy is pregnant - terribly so. i'm sure i'll hear about another niece or nephew by the time i get back to school. emma is still here. she's got a lot more gray to her these days, but she's still as sweet as ever. i'm sure she misses you, too.
it was good to see everyone, though to be honest, father was distracted and a bit tense. there is talk of a draft soon for the war, even if the fighting feels so far away from here now. you're closer to it - what is it like in windenburg? are you seeing more soldiers about?
there was a man handing out flyers on campus. edward spoke to him already, had glowing reviews. i do not how to feel. if a draft happens, of course i will do my duty. and it is good to serve one's country, is it not? honorable. i may need to pause my studies if that happens, but i am hoping they at least let me finish.
of course, i don't know how much of a need there is for marine biology in the army.
please let me know how you are. i will write again if there are any updates.
love,
henry
