Arnook is still struggling with the fallout of The Snailening, when, a little over a week later, the Avatar comes to the North Pole. This perhaps makes him less sympathetic to Katara's plight as a Southern girl looking to kearn waterbending. After all, his own rebellious daughter has left him open to scorn from his council of elders, who see him as unable to control her as a father should. Worse, Hahn's family is indignant over the end of the betrothal. This is monstrously unfair in Arnook's view, since it was Hahn who broke it off, Toph's shellfish antics nonwithstanding.

It's some comfort that Hahn is having at least as unpleasant a time as he is, since his family are leaning on him hard to make amends. He's giving up being chief over a little girl embarrassing him, they remind him.

But anyway, they're demanding compensation for the broken betrothal, which is ridiculous, because Hahn broke it, not him!

Okay, they ask, can they renew the betrothal if they can get Hahn to agree? No. No that will not do. Hahn had his chance.

Toph is still grounded when the Avatar shows up, but she still has to go to the state dinner for him and his friends. She eats nothing but poached snails. Other than that, she is a picture of propriety.

Later of course, after Aang is caught teaching Katara to waterbend, and after she convinces Master Pakku to train her, Toph sneaks into the Avatar and his companions' room, and begs Katara and Sokka to take her South with them.

Apologies if lighting makes it harder to see what is going on in some areas, this should be fixed in the next update.

Establishing shot of the boy's house with a UFO hovering over it, zoom in towards a snail alien (Snailen) pilot.  Singing can be heard, which angers the snail.  Transition to boy singing.

The Snailiens hit the laser button and set the boy's house on fire.

He screams, the aliens think that this is him singing louder, they hit the button faster now and repeatedly.

The boy crawls out of the burning building, the aliens rapidly smash the button now until it breaks, the fire spreads to the UFO.

The UFO explodes, the boy says "I guess they didn't like my singing".
