quick tip to reduce .psd file sizes

I've noticed I've been able to significantly cut down on the size of my avatar PSD files by being minimal with how many masks I use and instead using alpha lock, I'm not really sure why there's such a big file size difference though!

These file sizes may seem small but I noticed that the difference in file sizes dramatically increased with more layers (plus this canvas is only like 1000px) and this is only a flat color.

(For most people, you will never need this information. However for the few who wondered why the hell their psd is over 2gb and won't save, here's how you fix that!)

#it'll be my first batch hehe #i have to learn how to make my own bc most commercial soap gives me skin issues #and even if the soap formula itself doesn't then i usually have sensitivities to the fragrance #which triggers cluster headaches. super fun! #i have found one (1) kind that works for me and doesn't trigger either issue but naturally it's been discontinued for like 4 years #and i had to spend a ridiculous amount of money on it so i'd have enough until i could figure out something else #well i figured out something else! i'll just make it my damn self! #would make my own shampoo and conditioner too but unfortunately those are harder to make yourself #so i buy them from the lady whose soap tutorials i'm learning from :D

felt like making a random csp obscure tips post here we go

1. a huge feature a lot of people don’t use is modifier keys! you can find modifier key settings by right clicking on a brush/tool

you actually do use this feature, but most people don’t customize them. a lot of the more obscure shortcuts are actually modifier keys, such as Alt being the eyedropper

if you want your brushes/tools to do something specific when you press a key.. theres a good chance you can set it up like that! the different shortcuts are allowed to only do certain things but its still pretty powerful, like you can make ctrl alt switch your pencil brush to a lineart brush, but that shortcut wouldn’t work on other brushes

a REALLY helpful use for modifier keys i figured out recently is making shortcuts to switch to different selection modes on my lasso tool instead of having to click the buttons to change them every time

2. you can make custom brush groups and organize your brushes on that toolbar really easily. brushes are insanely customizable actually

Something important to understand is that CSP treats all brushes and tools as Sub Tools, and Sub Tools can go into Sub Tool Groups, and then those groups can have their Own sub tool groups. This is how you make groups within groups (I’m calling them mini groups for clarity from now on)

However you can drag these mini groups into the tool bar to make your own sub tool groups

You can also drag individual sub tools into the side bar to make a new sub tool group, if you drag them over one of the divider lines it will make its own section

3. You can set shortcuts for any sub tool group

If you go into shortcut settings, there’s options for your custom sub tool groups on the toolbar

The CoD Modern Warfare Remastered (2016) Experience (as someone who likes shooters but never tried CoD)

It's. Alright. This is probably because I got it Illegally but it didn't recognize my controller, meaning I have to suffer with keyboard and touchpad.

It feels like a shittier MGS game. It goes so hard on the War Story that the characters fall flat. Plus I can barely tell who's who and accidentally shot friendlies in the face (Sorry Gaz. Sorry random soldier from the Jackson missions)

Also not me getting blinded by every single flashbang known to man because I can barely dodge :')

I also keep dying to the same things (because I'm an idiot lmao) and the game really likes to go "oh you died by grenade. that normally happens when there's a grenade nearby" or my personal favorite "you were killed by an exploding vehicle. they tend to do that"
