#honestly i could build on this little discovery of mine soooo much #i love that tsumugi is the night because it has that softness to it. esp when matched with his voice #such a sweet tender voice that can lull anyone to sleep #not to mention how he tends to have blankets on hand bc of his whole bird thing #and the night sky also gives us a glimpse into what the universe holds #how the world is so much bigger than we are #but how the universe is also full of infinite beauty and wonders #idk....... it makes me think of like #tsumugi often downplays himself and his importance and such #being much more confident as some sidekick rather than the main attraction #but hes always drawn to “main character” type people #and in a way i can view the night the same way #bc well. its often not the night itself that we find so beautiful #its what the night shows us #the stars..... the cosmos........ the moon..........#but at the same time this is PART of the night #the night highlighting the beautiful galaxy makes the night itself special.......... and lovable #am i making sense #guys im delirious #ask

Overwhelmed by nostalgia actually

#this will sound SO elitist of me #but #i miss my summer course at the boarding school that was closed after the summer and they carved out an artificial lake on the manor grounds #and converted the cozy two-person dorm rooms to have bunk beds to fit six to eight kids #apparently they also 'refurbished' a historic building on the site :(#i mean i'm glad someone is taking care of the site - it's so beautiful #but i miss the way it was soooo much and there's no way to go to that place again except in memories #and then !! sequel - cambridge 2019 #granted it would probably be much the same as a town if i went in summer again but it really was when i learned how much i love university #but yeah deeply sad and insane about [redacted] manor i miss it sooooo much #one of my teachers actually really liked me and wanted to seriously talk about me studying there full time oabdlskdödldöfo #obviously it was never going to happen because who pays english boarding fees when you can study 100% for free at home #but what if in an alternate universe i did study there #idk i don't feel that sad about THAT missed chance #mostly because i'm legit replicating it w my master's #but i do wonder if i'm going to spend the rest of my life chasing similar places and the way i felt that summer when i was 15 🥹#if you send me a dm and we're friends etc i will show you pictures of the manor because it looks amazing

#much ado about nothing #i am finally reading this play #the 29th shakespeare play ive read and im just finally getting to this extremely popular comedy #u can question my choices if u want im ok w that #shakespeare #beatrice #elizabethan literature #english renaissance #comedy #also i bought another edition of the shakespeare simply bc. i wanted tah.#this one has different supplementary material and it's not as chunky and unwieldy as the riverside (even tho the riverside is my beloved)#it was only like 14 bucks or so where i bought it #shakespeare: 23 plays and the sonnets revised edition edited by thomas marc parrott #it sparked joy #it's also so beautiful and has so many plated illustrations of performances over the years #it makes me soooo happy i have no regrets #as im getting closer to finishing the plays i haven't yet read im realizing that im going to want to reread them all my life #like i just have an inexhaustible love of shakespeare. unfortunately #so rich in magic and wonder and meaning. he really is one of The Greats #i like a lot of old dead people who wrote poems very specific to their time and place #and shakespeare belongs very firmly to his own time and place but the complexity and richness of his work really is so eternal #his stories and characters are fundamentally human and i do think upon a proper acquaintance just abt anyone can find smth to love in them.#the praise of shakespeare is not hollow. he's Really That Good #ive read so much literature in my life from various times places and cultures. only a drop in the bucket are Really That Good

She was young and naive so she hugged the bird and Zeus transformed into his normal form and violated her #So than Hera was soooo humiliated she had to marry Zeus!
