To all parents out there - children are not a fashion accessory or there to show off. The little monsters need someone to teach them manners, decency, morals and rules and that's not what outstanding people are for, it is your fucking job - THANK YOU - The next child who gets a free pass to touch everything or is simply dumped on me and my work have to leave the house with their parents. I am not your child gardener and no, a mummy is not a toy, you can’t touch them, you can’t buy them or take a part of them and you don't make stupid selfies with them either .... Gods ....

ok i just watched episode seven of moon girl season two and i started crying CUZ GOD DAMN YOU DIDNT HAVE TO ATTACK ME LIKE THAT
SPOILERS AHEAD
I’ve suffered from bad anxiety since i was a kid. i’ve always been scared to talk to kids my age and i’ve always felt i needed to be perfect in school. I’m the kid who if they get a B they start freaking out. Then in 7th grade when i was already struggling with 7th Accelerated Math COVID hit and I had to do everything online. My middle school didn’t handle it well and i was so scared of failing and the fact that i couldn’t talk to my teacher about not understanding the work that I just didn’t do any of it (counter productive i know). I ended up with a ton of zeros and my mom got mad. I ended up fixing it but that didn’t help my anxiety at all.
In high school (grades 9-12 for non-americans) all the pressure got worse and everything was a lot more stressful. 9th grade I was the only freshman in my math class and I had a horrible english teacher, 10th I was in my yearbook class (that’s an entire shit show of its own that, to summarize, made me super depressed and the reason i’m in therapy) and now Im in AP Physics. The test are super hard and stressful especially when i don’t understand most of it. I also was taking 3 other AP classes and i had to drop one. Because of that my anxiety got so bad that i started taking medication which has been super helpful and made school a lot more bearable.
Anyways when Lunella started talking about how she needs to be perfect and have all this pressure put on her by Dr. Ojo, I really related to all of that. Plus the visuals of representing it is exactly what i think and how it feels when i get those waves of anxiety. The part that made me start crying is when Mimi and Casey check on Lunella and Casey ask what’s happening and Mimi just goes “she’s having a panic attack”. Just hearing those words come out of the screen just meant so much to me. Just thinking of all the little girls, even then the little kids, who have felt the same and watching this showing that even some of the most powerful people have felt the same way. To show people what goes on to the “smart kids” when the expectations finally catch up with them and are told “you’re not good enough you need to be better”. To show that it’s normal to feel these feelings and also to show how to handle it. Making sure you have a good support group and even listening to music that calms you down (Here Comes a Thought from Steven Universe helps me). I’m just so happy to watch a show and just think “i’m not the only one. it’s ok that i feel this way”.
Anyways sorry for my ramble and GO WATCH MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR SEASON TWO BABY!!!!

while im so happy jaskier is going to be in blood origin and is finally getting the recognition he deserves
i'd really like to have words with whoever is responsible for his costumes because what the fuck is he wearing in that trailer
while the jagged and duller look is very sexy on him, its so not him.
and i understand that the drastic difference from s1 to s2 (and onward) may be fitting for his character because of all that he's been through but jaskier is still a fucking star and he knows it.
he's flamboyant. his confidence is best reflected in his style so i desperately need to see them do better.
keep the rough (and i will reiterate, very sexy) appearance if necessary, but make it a bit flashy.
give him rings on every finger and different necklaces for each day of the week. have him paint his nails and have him wear dramatic hats. give him boots that somehow always shine and a coat that screams "im fucking famous and thats how i afforded this shit"
jaskier's style is arguably one of the most important. like yennefer, what he wears means something. you can tell a lot about the state of his life because of it. the writers are being careless about something so major to his character and that needs to be changed.
or, at the very least, give this man a couple costume changes (which he was unfortunately not afforded in s2) that would do him well!

hello, sexy people, so I'll either be inactive for a while or be overly active, here's why, I've made it very short and brief:
My dad's health as not been the best rn as he has a kidney disease. It's serious and they've put him on dialysis.
Due to this I'm not doing the best atm, having to go to the hospital over and over again is very overwhelming.
But... I'm doing better as I'm aware that alot of people on dialysis do get better. Trying to stay as positive as I can.
Anyway extremely sorry for ranting on here, I'll most likely be very active since this site is my escapism 🫶

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THIS!!!
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting, my health is declining again and I still have school, I’m failing some of my classes so I’m trying to study more, along with that I have rehearsals for theater and chorus and then I have to babysit my little brother, I am VERY sorry for the inconvenience. I will be back soon. I might come back but I might not post because I just don’t have the motivation, my mental health has been shitty lately.

Rant about how to make OOT Zelink work with TP Link being a Farmer
I had this rant stuck in my head at work so I have to get it out or I'll explode!
So child timeline: Malon has a thing for Link but Link has eyes for Zelda and kinda has to break Malon's heart. So what does he do? As Link trains to become a knight, he meets a guy (an OC I have yet to present) who seems perfect for her. So he sets the two up and they become a couple. Link works his way up the ranks and becomes a royal knight, eventually also getting a honorary noble title (those do indeed exist). And once Zelda is queen she can do whatever she wants and marries Link. Besides Link literally has the mark of the gods (triforce on his hand) in a religious Kingdom like Hyrule. I doubt he'd be just a simple peasant. Not to forget to mention the warning of impending doom.
So Link and Zelda have multiple children and so do Malon and OC.
One of Zelda and Link's children ends up falling with love with one of Malon and OC's children. The ZeLink child eventually decides it wants to leave the royal duties to the siblings and moves to the farm to be with Malon's child (giving up royal life is also a thing that happens sometimes IRL, most recent example being... the kinda messy one of Harry and Meghan). ZeLink child x Malon/OC child create the bloodline that leads to Twilight Princess Link being a farmer. There are definitely at least several generation between them. I've seen people mention that the 100 years between OoT and TP was a mistranslation and it's actually hundreds. Can't confirm for sure but makes more sense considering how vastly different Hyrule is.
So that means: TP Link is: A descendant of Link, Zelda and Malon. It's basically a second generation MaLink through their children. Sure it is a lot easier to go the Malon and Link end up together route, but as long as Nintendo never confirms MaLink, It's pretty valid to go another way with your headcanon. That does make TP Link and Zelda veeery distant cousins, but so distant to the point that they can't really be counted as related if you want to ship them. (If you don't want to ship TP Zelink, them being lost cousins is also a cute story.)
Also kinda fits in with the Hero's Shade armor. It looks like no other armor of any other knight. Maybe it was a royal armor? I do think the Shade acts more like an old mentor, than a young man, so I think he probably died in old age and got buried with his armor, or fell in battle when he was an old man and no longer as strong (bc let's be real hero of time + hidden skills? He must have been a beast in his prime time). If his children were a mix of royals and a farmer, no wonder he wouldn't have taught them his skills. Or they just didn't want to or weren't fit for it. And ofc Link would still lament not being remembered as hero. It's not about being any hero but the hero of time. No matter how many people knew about it, no one would be able to relate.
Long story short: Oot Zelink is possible with a few extra steps. BUT MaLink wouldn't be a bad couple and I see nothing bad in people who like them. I just forever prefer ZeLink over MaLink because to me the romantic implications are too strong. I feel like Nintendo originally wanted ZeLink to be the main focus (Miyamoto saying he sees Zelda as Links girlfriend) but accidentally made MaLink a strong possibility by making TP Link a farmer. But that's just my thought. The TP Manga does try to retcon this quite a bit.
Anyway, as long as nothing is put as canon, every ship and head canon is perfectly valid and this is mine. :D Pls don't fight over things like fictional character love interests. Adding a fictional story to a... fictional story is no crime. It being open for our interpretation creates a lot of diversity and I like that.
Sorry for the long rant! Edit: Or just have Malon Zelda and Link in a poly relationship :D

What's a trope you hate in fangans
Hmmm... It isn't a trope in fangans
But I hate the fat representation in canon. It sucks. And is incredibly rude, its like learn from project EDENS garden and make good plus sized characters. Also the huge boobs for the girls (teenagers) rub me the wrong way but that could also be my hatred for them-
Now for a trope... Hmm..
I don't have much except a lot of fangans I've seen don't write mentally disabled people well... At all... It sucks. Also Toko writing for DID SUCKED!! I have friends who are systems... And buddy.. That isn't how it works like at all.
Also can some PLEASEEE put a disabled person (like in a wheelchair, non-verbal, etc) in a fangame? I've watched so many and not one has a disabled character.
Also I really want to see a danganronpa character with braces.

A bit about The Mandalorian s03′s take on mandalorian culture
As much as I like the concept of Living Waters, I do not like how the third season of The Mandalorian presents Mandalorian culture overall. I wasn’t happy with the characterization in the previous two, but the current take is even worse. Major reason for my disdain  stems from the too medieval climate - Bo’s castle, throne, the royal family and its subjects, the baptism-like ceremony, all of this is opposite to Legends!Mandalorian for whom personal skills stood above any blood-connection in regard to their rulers thus no aristocracy was ever needed. The New Mandalorians’ royalty was a good concept in The Clone Wars as it stood in clear contrast to Death Watch’s old warrior faith and added an interesting edge to the destruction of Mandalore and following Republic occupation (that may have never truly ended by the ~700 years). In The Clone Wars, Death Watch was Bo-Katan’s major tie, but since Rebels, the focus is put on her sisterhood with Satine and the royal family status and The Mandalorian season three expand this even more - she lived in castle, sit on throne, had ceremonial “baptism” as princess and so on. At this point I really miss the “barbarian” feeling of Death Watch even more since Bo’s own Mandalorian warriors were removed from the story, leaving us with one lone Bo-Katan, Boba Fett on Tatooine or whatever he is as I don’t follow his TV series and cult-ish Children of the Watch. Which is pretty irritating, I won’t lie, especially since later seasons of TCW, Rebels and now the TV series don’t bother to even mention Pre Vizsla or Bo’s criminal past - and mind you, this is no “Bo shouldn’t have her redemption arc” - which she arguable already had as freedom fighter against Empire and more complain that Disney/New Canon on purpose erase problematic or nuanced elements of its own worldbuilding. Like, mentioned Bo’s past and her part in the fall of Mandalore or how she was elected/accepted by clans because now Darksaber can be only passed through the fight? And why? Because Mandalorians can’t make a sensible choice about whom they should follow? Because they can’t stick to an ideological case that was important in the previous season but now Bo has no darksaber so her own clan abandoned her to be mercenary? Like, seriously? What happened to the Mandalorian loyalty to the family? Bo may have lost the status of Mandalore, yet Din did not make a claim to be new sole leader so why Koska - described in Character Encyclopedia as “loyal member of Bo’s Mandalorian gang” ditched her companion?
Seriously, at this point I admire Bo-Katan’s loyalty to Pre Vizsla as she threw away the ancient laws out of window the moment Maul killed her leader / friend and sure, she came with the no outsider is allowed to be Mandalore argument (something that from historical perspective is not true, as in ancient times Ulic Qel-Droma dueled with Mandalore and his success was accepted by warriors) but The Clone Wars made it pretty clear Pre’s death was an emotionally wrecking moment in her life. Arguably more than Satine’s death yet the newest animations and TV series mentions only her sister in passing but not a man that clearly meant something to her. Which is, again, an irritating aspect of Disney’s New Canon.
There is also no mention of Satine as pacifist / New Mandalorian leader, no mention of Pre Vizsla (who in contrast to Din was capable of using darksaber which is pretty hilarious side-effect of switching lore about this weapon from “ancient item passed in Clan Vizsla” to “well known Mandalorian attribute of power” ) or Death Watch in general. Instead we have this cult-ish Children of the Watch with the weird rule forbidding members to remove the helmet even in presence of their own family and who seem to care more about if the helmet was removed than about Creed itself as was seen with Bo accidentally joining this group. A rule that A) feels to be a rip-off from Sand People’s culture (except Tuskens are allowed to see the face of their spouse) B) has no sense because it is not the armor that makes anyone a Mandalorian but personal deeds. And sure, beskar’gam always played an important role in Mandalorian culture yet at this point I’m truly tired of putting so much focus on armor rather than the soul of a Mandalorian warrior. Armor can be destroyed and rebuilt after all but what counts are the people who wear it, not the other way.
For me, Children of the Watch worked in the previous season because we still had Bo’s clan and Boba Fett (loner) to somehow balance the overview of Mandalorian culture yet in the third season the different types of Mandalorians were removed from the story. Boba is out of the picture, Bo was abandoned by her own people and so there is only Din and Armorer’s tribe  that is too frustrating for my taste. I like the religious aspect it brings to the show but it is hard to take seriously this group as representative of Mandalorian people with their silly rule about not removing helmets (how do they even take care of their personal hygiene then? How do they cut their hair? What about deaf members? How can they learn to read from lips or read anything from facial expression if other members can’t show their face? I know Din communicated with Tusken via hand signals but since children grew up around masked adults how does the communication work exactly? What about an intimate relationship? Or growing up and not having a clue how your mother’s face looks under the helmet? Or father, older sibling, other clan (family) members? What about providing medical assistance in the event of a head injury?). Not to mention the whole weird deal with Armorer who has such great knowledge about Mandalorian lore but doesn’t teach it unless the situation requires her to give a proper explanation? Mind you I did not rewatch the previous seasons so my memory may be a bit rusty but Din did not even know who the Jedi were even though they have special place in Mandalorian history (usually negative in the sense they are the enemy hard to defeat in fair fight) and it was pretty common thing for “normal” Mandalorian to teach their kids about the danger coming from force-sensitive people? And sure, Jedi were supposed to be dead but if Din was a bounty hunter how he has never heard about them with the Rebellion having this one special Jedi in their rank who also happened to be the most wanted man by the Empire?
The Mandalorian TV series creates a long list of question I have about its worldbuilding around Mandalorian culture that somehow switched from Legends “only the best can be Mandalore” and “Mandalorians believe in loyalty” to Disney’s “royal families” and “let’s ditch our leader and our cause just because someone’s else has darksaber yet makes no claim about leadership”. Or let's use a cool looking darksaber as a haunted item that for no real reason is also a symbol of leadership because the Jedi weapon is the most Mandalorian symbol of all possible choices apparently.
And you know what was great about Fenn Shysa and his protectors who fought against the Empire in the older source material? That the fight against imperial enslavement truly united Mandalorians to the point that even former Death Watchmen joined his group. As much as I like Bo-Katan’s comment about how Mandalorian fight against each other often for weird reasons, it truly saddens me that in Disney’s canon even the common enemy like Empire did not manage to unite Mandalorians. Because it is better drama when everyone bothers with some random mystic item than actually working together to take your freedom back and rebuild your world. But sure, whatever.
I seriously miss Legends Mandalorians because Disney’s take on them is so frustrating.

Poor things is shit
I first heard about it only from promotional images and fanart, then I heard the criticism and plot of it and thought "Well that's sure a horrendously bad movie". Sadly for me, I thought that I was being too harsh on it so I decided to watch by myself so I can confidently say it's shit. I do not understand the praise it's getting as it fails at pretty much everything it sets out to do.
It fails as a "feminist" re-imagination of Frankenstein as it is written and directed by men and (as many Frankenstein-inspired media) doesn't understand the original story at all, which actually is the first feminist Frankenstein as it was written by Mary Shelley, much less does anything new or interesting with it.
It fails as an adaptation of the novel "Poor Things" as it excludes the ending without any sound reason I could find. In which end, I may add, we find out that Bella never existed, that the whole book was written by Victoria's second husband who was jealous of her life and career as a doctor so he, in the words of the novel itself, "deprived me of childhood and schooling by suggesting I was not mentally me when I first met him". And the most astounding to me is that all i found regarding this change is that they "wanted to go beyond the book" regarding the scene with her first husband. That strikes me as such a missed opportunity since it could've poked fun both at reimaginations of classical books that do nothing and of the "Victorianisms" (as i understood it the romanticisation of life while ignoring the harsh reality of the working class) that Victoria in the book hated. Or say anything else, maybe about her and her husband's conflicting points of view.
It fails as a movie itself by being an unnecessarily and utterly boring movie with nothing to say or to add to any discussion. I do not understand the comedy aspect of the film as only one scene in the whole two-hour movie struck me as "funny". I understand much less the "female gaze" statment of this movie because of the reasons stated above. It's artsy, but so many other films are artsy and some of then have an actual story to tell.
Basically this film says nothing about nothing about the female experience worth noting, it doen't discuss the implication of her husband being atracted to her when she still has the mental capacity of a toddler, it doesn't touch on the themes of isolation, judgment and mishandling of science of Frankenstein, it's not faithfull to the source material, it's not enjoyable neither makes you think, in sum it's just two hours of nothing.
