Hybrid Creation Logs
SH-003
——————————
Notes from observation of stalker human hybrid SH-003 from Dr. Kendra Danan:  10-21-2228 SH-003 is showing signs of very high intelligence and is already picking up language despite his mental age. The other hybrids did not show this much absorption of knowledge at the same stage. However, he seems to have attached himself to Dr. Peter von Schneeplestein, a visitor from the Teuton Alteran branch, who still have ties to their ancient German roots- keeping that fascinating culture alive, much like the Mongolians from Torgal. Which means- SH-003 has caught a slight jumbled accent and has found a preference for using German sayings. Much like how SE-002 has a slight Irish accent thanks to constant interaction with Dr. Xander. A strange phenomenon to be sure but… fascinating. And adorable…  Oh and he’s quite popular with the other scientists. Mostly because a mutation caused his body to be more white and his underbelly to be more aqua. Peter squealed to everyone that he looked like he was wearing a white coat like us- and now I can’t un-see it!  Also, it’s evident that SH-003 had some sight issues. He seems to be near-sighted and accommodations have been made- including specially goggles for him to wear. You’d think being genetically modified would rectify such an ailment but it must be passed down from Mcloughlin’s genes.  I think he’s nearing the age where we first introduced SE-002 to RR-001. And the results of their integration have been wildly successful. Both boys are more lively than ever before. I am worried about introducing a predator to two pacifists but… SH-003 seems to be on the gentler side as well. Really, he only showed true signs of predator-like aggression during his first two weeks and when he feels threatened. Perhaps, they will all get along?  However, his near twin subject SD-004 is a different story entirely…
——————-
“CHASEEEE!!”
The rabbit Ray merman was awoken by Jack practically bouncing on where his stomach met his tail. He groaned and try to hide his face under one of his wings. “What? Can’t I sleep in a little longer?” Chase yawned.
“Not today!” Jack protested, slapping his hands down on Chase’s side. “The white suits said we’re meeting the new hybrid today!! So you gotta get up!! C’mon!!”
Chase groaned again and flopped over to hide his face in the sand. “5 more minutes…”
“Chaseee!!” Jack whined, flopping onto the older hybrid’s back. He curls some of his tails around Chase’s tail and mumbles, “Aren’t you excited to meet a new brother?”
“Course I am,” Chase muttered back, cheek pressed into the sand. “I just wanna be more awake when we meet him is all-“
“You’ll sleep most of the morning if I don’t wake you!” Jack protests.
Chase chuckles, “s’not my fault the sand is warm and cozy…” He then flips over quickly and grabs Jack, pinning him in a hug against his stomach. “C’mon…! Don’t you wanna cuddle a bit longer with your big bro, Jack?”
Jack screeches and squirmed in Chase’s hold, “Nooo! You’re squishing me! Chaseee!!”
They both suddenly freeze as they hear the sound of a hatch opening and something new entering the water. A cautious voice calls out, “um… h-hallo?”
Jack squeals in delight and hits multiple of his tails in Chase’s face, making the older boy cry out and rub at it  as the younger brother speeds through the water towards the voice.
In the open water is a tiny merman with a white and aqua tail. He has light green hair like sea moss and purple stripes along his tail and even on his arms. His tail fin is big and wide and he has several large dorsal fins running up his back. And, he has goggles on, which surround the same blue eyes Chase and Jack had. Those eyes look out shyly as he holds his arms tight to his middle.
Jack gasps in delight at seeing the new hybrid. “Oh my stars…! A stalker!! You’re so tiny!!”
The new hybrid startles at the new voice and looks at Jack with wide eyes. “Oh uh- h-hallo and uh… t-thank you, I suppose…?”
Chase soon swims up beside Jack and laughs. “He’s about the size you were when you first got here, Jack!”
“Aw really? I guess I must be growing a lot!” Jack giggles. Chase ruffles his hair then smiles at the new hybrid. “Hi there. I’m Chase and this is Jack- what are you called?”
The stalker hybrid nervously messes with his fingers. “Oh uh… mein name is SH-3…”
“Why do you talk like that?” Jack suddenly pipes up, tilting his head at SH.
SH’s mood shifts quickly as he scowls and flicks his tail in agitation, “why do you talk like that?” He counters with a huff.
Chase holds up his hands with a nervous laugh, “J-Jack didn’t mean anything by it! We just… haven’t heard anyone talk like you much… maybe some of the other doctors… but not much.”
“We gotta give you a name that matches!” Jack says excitedly.
“W-What do you mean?” SH stammers, “I already have a name! It is-“
“No no! That one doesn’t count!” Jack emphasizes, “You need a name like the white suits! Something that doesn’t make us sound like- like an es… esperimint-“
“Experiment, Jack…” Chase provides gently. Jack nods eagerly, “yeah that! We’re more than just that- we should get names that are more than just letters and numbers!!”
SH seems to contemplate this before he slowly nods. “Mmm… o-okay… I… I think I would like that…”
“Great!” Jack says excitedly, his tails twirling to show it. Then he hums and looks at SH with a critical eye. The tiny merman squirms a bit under the gaze. Finally, Jack pipes up with, “I’m getting a couple names from you! Guess it’s other white suits you know- like… Fitz! Orrr Nikolai? Or hm… Henrik?”
Chase perks up at this and smiles, “He seems like a Henrik, not gonna lie.”
SH’s eyes roll and he scoffs, crossing his arms. “Please… those are all ridiculous names! If you’re gonna use the scientists' names you might as well call me… H-Henrik von Schneeplestein or something!” He grumbles, thinking of Dr. Peter. Though, he had to admit… thinking of sharing a name with him almost made SH feel… warm?
Jack and Chase exchange looks before the two of them grin at SH. “We could call you Schneep!” Jack says mischievously. Chase giggles and nods, “Yeah I like that!”
SH quickly flushes and looks away with raised shoulders, “…please just… stick with Henrik… I suppose I… like that.”
“Aww but Schneep is fun to say!” Jack giggles and starts to float around the stalker mer, “Schneep! Schneep! Schneep! Schneeep!!”
Chase laughs and pulls Jack back after a bit, “Alright, little bro- give him some space!”
Henrik seems to perk up at this, “…bro? What does this mean?”
The rabbit Ray blinks, “Oh! Short for brother! Cuz… that’s what we all are, you know?”
Henrik’s eyebrows knit together in confusion, “…we are? I thought brothers were ah… human. Human family members.”
Jack snorts and then goes to grab Henrik’s hands in his. “We are brothers though! Cuz- cuz Xander says we all have the same human DNS-“
“DNA, Jack-“ Chase snickers.
“Oh yeah! DNA! And he says that makes us related! Even if our fish parts are different!” Jack beams. “So now! You’re our new little brother, Henrik!”
The stalker merman’s eyes seem to sparkle as he slowly goes to grip Jack’s hands back. He smiles, “O…okay… brothers. Yes I… I think I would like that…”
Jack and Chase beam and then bring Schneep in for a hug. Henrik stiffens a bit but soon finds himself laughing and enjoying the contact. They were so warm.
Jack soon grabs Henrik and leads them all off to go play. Henrik seems to have trouble keeping up with their energy- since he liked to spend a lot of his time in his own tank watching the education videos the white suits gave him. But, he tries his best.
Soon enough, the lights dim and the boys all start to head towards their sleeping area. Henrik is being led by Jack but seems… nervous. He always felt strange at night. More… angry. But he didn’t know why.
Chase flops into the little nest Jack and him have made- filled with soft kelp, writhing weeds, violet beaus red wort and spotted dock leaves. All hidden amongst the tall creepvines that surrounded the edge of the tank. There’s a small indent in the sand that is clearly made from how Chase curls up in his spot, yawning loudly. Jack laughs and then rushes at Chase and flops onto his side. Chase seems to anticipate this though as he opens up his arm without opening his eyes as Jack eagerly curls around under Chase’s wing. The older merman squints open an eye, looking at how Jack’s tails hardly fit anymore and chuckles. “You’re almost too big to keep hiding under there, Jackaboy-“
Jack sticks his tongue out at Chase and scoots back so his head is lifting up the edge of his wing like a floppy hat. “Too bad! Your wing is too comfy! I’m never leaving!” Chase just laughs and shakes his head.
Henrik hovers anxiously at the edge of the space, unsure if he should join or not. His nerves feel like they’re on fire.
Lost in his train of thought, he doesn’t notice Jack lashing out a hand to grab his fin and try to pull him in until he feels the tug. “C’mon Schneep! Join the pile!”
“Do not touch me!” Henrik suddenly hisses, his teeth looking sharper and his pupils turning more slitted. Jack gasps and shudders under Chase’s fin, looking scared. “Ah I… I’m sorry! I…”
Henrik’s face falls and he scoots back, all aggression fading. He looks equally as scared as he stammers, “I-I… I will go s-sleep somewhere else… g-goodnight!” And then, in a flurry of bubbles, he spurs quickly away from the other two to the other side of the tank.
Chase lifts up his head and looks concerned. He quickly turns over to hug Jack to his chest and wrap him up in his wings.
“I… I didn’t mean to make him mad I…” Jack sniffles. Chase gently shushes him. “It’s okay, Jack… this is all probably a lot for him…”
Jack rubs at his eyes and looks over to where Henrik swam off. “…I don’t think he meant it either… he looked scared.”
“He’s probably not used to being around other people… you were a lot for me to get used to when you first got here.” Chase tries to laugh. Jack rests his head on Chase’s chest and hums, thinking. “… maybe he just… misses his old tank? But… isn’t that lonely?”
“Maybe… sometimes people like being alone. I don’t get it but… maybe Henrik is like that.” Chase answers quietly.
Suddenly, there’s a quiet knock on the glass next to the boys and they both startle up. There’s a man at the window, one they don’t recognize, with goggles like Henrik’s and brighter brown-blond curly hair. He smiles at the boys and then points to the hatch nearby. Chase narrows his eyes but then scoops up Jack to go over to the hatch. The scientist opens it up and hangs in the open air part, fidgeting nervously, “Ah I am- sorry to intrude. I hope I did not wake you two…”
“You talk just like Henrik!” Jack gasps in delight. The doctor blinks and then laughs with a soft, kind expression. “Oh? Did you give a name to SH then? Ha… that is very fitting.. I do not know why I did not think of it…”
“The letter names are icky- we don’t like them,” Jack said plainly. The doctor laughs, “I can agree with that. Perhaps I can learn all of yours in time… You all can call me Peter though… Dr. Peter. I ah- watch over SH- …Henrik.”
“We don’t gotta wait till later! I’m Jack and this is Chase!” Jack said brightly, patting Chase on the chest. Chase smiles shyly. “Hi… Dr. Peter. nice to meet you.”
Dr. Peter smiles warmly, “it is a pleasure… those names all suit you wonderfully…”
“What do you want? Did you need to see Schneep?” Jack asks plainly.
Peter’s eyes widen, “…Schneep?”
“Oh- that’s the other name I wanna call him. He said a long name from another doctor like… schneeple-eplestein… I like how Schneep sounded though so I wanna call him that too! He tries to act like he doesn’t like it but I can tell he does.” Jack answers.
The white suit looks surprisingly touched and smiles even more warmly at the boys. “I see… well… I did come because of S-Schneep, yes.” He pulls something out from his pocket and places it in the water part of the hatch. It’s a well worn piece of scrap metal, with various teeth marks and scratches on its surface. “…He can get very bitey and snippy at night… but I know having this helps him calm down enough to sleep. I was worried he would be missing it…”
Chase and Jack’s eyes widen as they look at the scrap then back up at Peter. Chase smiles and gives the doctor a meaningful look. “…you really care about him, huh?”
Peter’s face flushes and he adjusts his glasses. “I mean… I… I suppose I do but… how could I not? You all are… human too. More human than fish- you are just… children. You all need that care, ja?” He laughs.
Jack giggles and quickly goes to grab the scrap. “We’ll give it to Henrik right away! Thank you, Dr. Peter. Come visit him a lot, okay?” As he says this- he feels a tight tug in his chest. When was the last time he really got to see Xander…?
Peter chuckles and nods. “I will… and I will uh- be seeing you boys around then? Ah… be sleeping tight, okay?” He says a bit awkwardly before closing the hatch. He stiffly waves to the boys before hurrying out.
“…I like him!” Jack grins. Chase laughs and adjusts Jack in his arms. “yeah- I like him too. It’ll be nice to have a new face around.”
“Yeah like- Dr. Goodall is nice and all but… he’s funny. And I really think he cares.”
“Hey! Dr. Goodall cares…” Chase tries to protest.
“Yeah but… he feels different. Dunno why…” Jack says with a shrug. Then he squirms out of Chase’s grip and swims up, holding the scrap. “I’m gonna go find Schneep! Be right back!”
Then, he rockets off before Chase can protest or try to follow. He would but… Jack was better at finding things then he was. And he’s so sleepy. He yawns and slowly floats back down into their nest.
Jack swims around to look for Henrik- finally hearing or… feeling him inside another collection of creepvines on the opposite side of the tank. He pushes aside the leaves and shouts out excitedly, “Henrik! Look wh-!”
He then pauses as he sees and smells blood in the water. Jack gasps as he looks down to see Henrik curled up into a ball, digging sharp looking claws into his arms and drawing out orange blood.
“H-Hey! Henrik, stop that!” Jack shouts as he spurs down and tries to pull Henrik’s hands away from his arms. Henrik growls and lashes out, striking claws across Jack’s cheek. “I said do not touch me!” Henrik screeches, then balks as he sees the orange curling off of Jack’s cheek into the water. Jack touches the cuts thoughtfully and looks at his hand. “…that hurt… huh- haven’t really gotten hurt before…”
“I-I-! I am so sorry I…!” Henrik stammers, tears in his eyes as his little body shakes. He hugs his arms close to his chest. “I-I did not mean to… I- y-you scared me and…!”
Jack quickly swims down and holds out his hands. “Hey hey it’s okay! I can tell you didn’t want to… your head is all jumbled up right now…”
Henrik stares at Jack with wide eyes. “I… y-yes I… how did you know…?”
Jack shrugs, “I hear lots of things from people without really knowing why or how. Maybe it’s something I’ll understand when I’m older. Point is though, I can tell you don’t wanna hurt people.”
Henrik slowly nods and curls up more. “…I do not want to… but at night I just… f-feel so angry and I… I do not know why…!”
“Well… if it helps… Dr. Peter came by to give you something…” Jack says gently, going to pass the scrap over to Henrik. The stalker’s eyes light up and he quickly takes the scrap and goes to hold it tightly, claws digging in and tail wrapped around it protectively. Jack laughs, “you really like that thing, huh?”
The tinier merman looks away, cheeks flushing slightly. “…I do not hurt my doctors if I have this at night… and it… it makes me feel safe…”
“That’s good!” Jack says brightly. “We don’t want our new brother to sleep all alone though! Come on- you can hold that and sleep on your own but at least stay by the nest, okay?”
Jack offers his hand to Henrik and the stalker mer stares at it for a second before he slowly goes to take it, letting Jack pull him back up in the water. “I… I’m… o-okay…”
The two of them swim back to the nest where Chase is peacefully dozing. He blinks open his eyes and smiles dazedly at them, “Hey guys-“ then quickly sits up, his eyes going wide. “Stars-! Is that blood?!”
“Oh yeah but uh- we’re okay!” Jack tries to say calmly as Henrik huddles behind him, his tail trembling a bit.
Chase swims up and brings them over to sit down on the sand then surges up to grab a couple creepvines leaves. He hurries down and hands one to Jack. “Press that against your cheek.” He says gently.
Jack blinks and does so.
Then, Chase goes to take Henrik’s arm but the little merman flinches back and looks scared. Chase smiles softly. “It’s okay… I won’t hurt you.”
“I… I am afraid of hurting you-“ Henrik whispers.
Chase laughs and shakes his head. “If you do it’s okay… this is kinda scary. But us brothers gotta stick together, right?”
Henrik’s eyes widen and then he smiles a bit. He shyly offers his arm to Chase. “..r-right…” Chase beams and takes his arm, going to wrap up the puncture wounds with the leaves and tying them off.
“Where did ya learn to do this, Chase?” Jack asks.
“Oh- an informational video about how to survive on the planet from someone who lived here a long time ago.” Chase says casually. “Dr. Goodall says one day we might get to actually go out into the ocean so… figured it’s good to know.”
Henrik’s eyes sparkle. “oh… I would like to watch that! I… I want to learn to help too! Not.. not to hurt…”
Chase smiles and ruffles Henrik’s hair. “Sure! I’ll see if we can watch it in the morning! For now though? I’m bushed!” He floats back over to the nest and flops into it, sighing contently.
Jack checks to make sure his cheek isn’t bleeding anymore then speeds back over and bounces on Chase’s stomach beside settling into place. Chase oofs and glares a bit at Jack before snorting and rolling over. Jack giggles.
Henrik hesitates, holding his scrap close to his chest. Then, he slowly floats over and then inches his tail to slowly bump up against Chase’s and curl against him. Oh… that contact feels… really nice actually. Henrik seems to get very comfortable very fast, his eyes struggling to stay open. Jack is already breathing softly curled up against Chase’s side, clutching into his wing.
Chase watches with a smile. “Night, lil bros.”

Can you do a part 2 to the Henrik and Jameson neglect story? Maybe with him finding the guy who threatened him or telling one of his brothers whats going on?
(You know what? I don’t write the Septics od watch Jack anymore but fuck it, I’m feelin’ funky tonight and may as well give the boys another try. Plus, I just re-read it and the story made me sad, so let’s fix that.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
three weeks.
It’s been... three weeks.
Not a word spoken to JJ, not a glance thrown his way.
Schneep had received more photos. Pictures taken through windows. Whoever this stalker is, they must be taking tips from Anti. It seems like they’re always watching.
“What did I do?” JJ signs, day after day.
Schneep doesn’t reply.
“What did I do?” JJ says with his slides.
Schneep pretends he doesn’t see it.
Marvin has taken over any and all of JJ’s medical care. Schneep didn’t ask him to. After that first incident... Marvin took it into his own hands.
... Schneep’s never felt so low in his life.
And the pictures are gleeful. Shots of him crying in his room (he’s since left the curtains shut at all times), shots of him ignoring a bleeding and sometimes sobbing JJ, shots of him just... just...
...
Jackie knocks on his door.
“Henrik?”
Schneep quickly wipes his eyes. If Jackie is using his first name, that means a very serious talk is about to take place. He needs to pretend as best he can.
“Yes?”
Jackie enters the room.
“Henrik, what the hell is going on with you and JJ?”
“What do you mean?”
“You know what I mean. You’ve been ignoring him for weeks. You’re acting like he doesn’t fuckin’ exist.”
Schneep shrugs.
“Don’t srug it off, what’s wrong with you?! He’s a wreck! He thinks he did something wrong, and he’s blaming himself!”
Schneep feels tears spring into his eyes. “I have nothing to say.”
Jackie is incredulous. “Nothing to say? Fucking nothing to say?! What’s going on with you?!”
“I need to get back to work.”
“No, you need to-”
“I! Need! To! Work!”
Jackie stares.
“... Is it Anti?” he asks quietly.
Schneep scoffs. “I am not doing the glitching, am I?”
Jackie doesn’t look convinced. “Something’s not right with you.”
“Yes, it is you interrupting me. Shoo! Shoo!”
Schneep stands up, pushing, pushing!, Jackie out of the room.
He slams the door shut.
Jackie takes a moment to process what just happened.
... Because what the fuck just happened?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JJ cradles his photo album as he sits on his bed.
What happened? He and Schneep were close. Why did it all just... vanish?
He wipes his eyes, and shakes his head. He needs fresh air. Maybe that will help. Right? Maybe a nice breath of fresh air will give him some clarity, some clue as to what he did wrong...
He goes over to his window, opens it wide as possible, and leans out.
The bushes below rustle frantically.
“Jumping junipers!”
JJ startles away from the window, and then looks out again.
The bushes are still.
... Perhaps it was some kind of wild animal?
He leans out further, trying to get a better look-
...
Is that...
His eyes widen.
He rushes out of his room, bumping into an angry and perplexed Jackie.
“I think there was someone watching me from the bushes!”
“Was it Anti?” Jackie immediately jumps to.
“I don’t think so! But I think their clothes ripped, I swear I’ve seen a piece of fabric in the bushes just after receiving a terrible fright!”
“Show me!”
JJ leads Jackie outside, and points out the bush.
Jackie crawls under, and...
Yes, there it is. A bit of bright-red fabric. Sock material, it looks like.
He scowls. “JJ, you’re sleeping in Marvin’s room tonight.”
JJ nods, and quickly head back into the house, no longer feeling safe.
Jackie gets out from under the bush.
He hates when he has to do lookouts over their house. It’s been months, no sign of Anti, and he’d started to hope those days of fear and vigilance could truly be put behind him.
Apparently not.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jackie crouches at the top of a tree, eyes on the house.
He’s been like this for hours. He’ll be like this for hours more. It’s well into the night, and though his eyes ache, he’s trained himself to be able to keep watch for a full twenty-four hours if need be.
Every little shape, every shadow, ever sound, it’s all potential danger to his family. It keeps the blood pumping, keeps his heart racing.
And then he sees it.
It’s dark out, so it’s little more than a shadow. But it’s not an animal, he can tell that much. Animals don’t wear baseball caps.
He quietly slips through the trees, getting closer.
The shadow moves quickly. Practiced. Jackie’s blood runs cold, and his temper flares.
How long has this person been stalking them? And why?
He keeps following, ready to drop-
... They’re... going right past JJ’s room, now.
He thought they’d take more pictures than that. That was, what, two? They’d set up a dummy JJ in there, it looks like JJ is asleep in his bed, so why...
...
They’ve got an envelope...
...
Schneep’s room?
He watches them take out some kind of flat... something, and slowly, carefully, wedge Schneep’s window open just enough that they can slip the envelope through.
Jackie’s heart drops.
He climbs out of the tree, and grabs the person by the back of their shirt, yanking them away from the window as harshly as he can.
They yelp.
Schneep’s light comes on.
“Who the fuck are you?!” Jackie barks.
Schneep opens his window, and his eyes go wide.
“Answer me!” Jackie demands.
Marvin’s light goes on as well, and JJ’s head pops out of the window. His hands fly up to his mouth, and he rushes to Schneep’s room. Marvin and Chase follwo right behind.
“Let go of me!” the person says. “I’m fucking armed!”
“With what? This?” Marvin holds up a gun.
The person’s face falls with fear.
“Thought so.”
“Chase, what’s in the envelope?” Jackie says, not taking his eyes off of the stalker.
Chase rips it open, and his eyes widen in horror. JJ takes a step back. Schneep is near tears.
Photos. Photos of Schneep sobbing, of JJ sobbing, JJ begging Schneep to speak to him...
“Is this why?” JJ signs, hands trembling.
Jackie is livid. “Why?” he growls.
The person looks at him, and realizes there’s no way out of this.
“Your hack of a brother killed mine,” the person says, spitting as they speak. “My brother trusted this idiot to save his life, and he died! So-”
“So if you couldn’t talk to your brother, Schneep couldn’t talk to his?” Chase  interrupts, digging through Schneep’s desk. He waves a little piece of paper, angry words scribbled in it’s lines. “Good evidence collecting, bro.”
“What kind of sick, twisted logic is that?” Marvin says, snarling.
“It’s justice!” the person snaps.
“No, it isn’t,” Jackie says coldly. “But you’re sure as fuck going to find that out soon.”
“What does that-”
“Marv, knock him out.”
Blue and green magic shoots into the person’s skull, and they’re out like a light.
“You-” Jackie says, pointing at Schneep, “-should have fuckin’ told us what was going on.”
“I could not risk,” Schneep says, wiping his eyes. “Not JJ. He is out so often, and I could not warn him what to watch out for without knowing who this was...”
JJ cuts Schneep off by wrapping him in a hug.
“You thought you were protecting me, and I can hold no ill will against you for that. I’m just glad to know it wasn’t animosity, or something I-”
“You are my brother,” Schneep says, hugging JJ back tightly, “I would never wish to hurt you or let you be hurt! I am sorry, for all of these last weeks.”
“I accept.”
The hug lasts a long time.
They’re both just glad to have each other back.

Okay so like how about Chase exploring an abandoned building? He's doing a video and something happens or something?
(There are references in this story that relates to another part of this timeline, soo.... go read those before you read to understand the lore)
There were certain places Chase had been warned to never go to, places Schneep, Jackie, and Marvin had forbade their youngest brother from exploring. At the top of the list was an abandoned building at the edge of town, roped off with caution tape. No one was allowed in.
None of the brothers were around to tell him what to do, and it was getting closer to Halloween. So, like any vlogger would do, Chase decided to film a video at the abandoned building to celebrate!
However, looking at the scary wreck on a foggy day, Chase wondered if he made a big mistake.
Any smart person would simply walk away and find another thing to film for Halloween, but Chase... was an impulsive idiot.
He turned the camera on. “What’s up, guys?! I’m Chase, and welcome to a special edition of Bro Average. This one’s called, Doing The One Thing My Brothers and the Town Told Me Not To Do, otherwise known as, Sneaking Into the Town’s Obligatory Abandoned Off-Limits Building!”
He ducked under the tape and walked up to the strange, ruined building of grey bricks.
The narrow stairs looked close to crumbling, but somehow could still hold Chase’s weight. Vines crept up the walls, adding a supernatural element to the ruins. Chase could sense a strange magic in the building. It felt… familiar.
He turned his camera on. “I’m already feeling the spooky vibes! It feels… strange. Like… I’m connected here somehow.” He looked up. Only three more flights to go. Best to start filming once he got the top. Couldn’t waste battery or breath on a bunch of stairs.
Twenty minutes later, Chase made to the top. He pulled out his camera and turned it on, still struggling to catch his breath. “Why... did the architect…” He gasped. “Or owner insist…” He wheezed. “On so many stairs? To add emphasis?” Another deep breath. “Was it that necessary to be that extra?”
Chase leaned against an old desk, trying to catch his breath. He looked around. It wasn’t a big building, just a dusty old tower with a big dashboard covered in dust and vines. In a corner of the room was a pile of broken computers. Chase turned around to view the computer. He turned the camera on.
“I have no idea what this does… let’s turn it on!” He clicked on a button. The dashboard whirred to life, and Chase jumped back in shock.
He turned to the camera. “OK… wasn’t expecting that to actually work…”
Chase’s eyes followed as sparks of electricity flew through wires and dove into the large pile of smashed computers. Despite the cracked screens and cut wires, some of the computers flashed on, showing images of… people?
Chase gasped in delight and rushed over the computers. He had a feeling something bad would happen if he got to close, so he knelt by a good distance and used his camera to zoom in on each individual screen.
The working screens showed humans, going about their daily lives. Chase was strongly reminded of TVs from a grocery store security system.
He recognized some of the people on the screens. Roger from film class in college getting groceries, Kayley from two doors down fixing her girlfriend’s car, Oscar from the film crew doing some video editing… all normal people, going about their lives.
Chase faced his camera. “OK… we might have a serious stalker on our hands… maybe I should find something else to do for Halloween…”
He turned back to the screens. Another figure caught his eye. Was that… Schneep?
On a smaller tv labelled No Longer Mine, was a clip of Schneep. It couldn’t have been from recent days, Schneep had been missing for almost two months now. And besides, Schneep’s hair looked more… yellow.
Chase looked at the date. June 24, 2017. Huh. Why was Schneep being recorded? What did he have to do with… what did any of these people have to do with each other? Who was stalking them? Should he call the police?
“Chase?” Chase jumped and turned around. Jackieboy Man stood behind him, a grim expression on his face.
Chase scrambled to his feet, grabbing the camera. “Jackie! What are you- what is this-”
“Let’s go, Chase.” His voice was ice, barely concealing his anger and disappointment. Chase shuddered. “There’s magic here not to be trifled with.”
Jackie grabbed Chase’s hand and dragged him back down. Chase braced himself for the inevitable lecture, but it never came.
Back in the tower, Schneep’s screen glitched and flashed into static. If one looked closely, one could see the face of a demon, smiling as he watched his future puppets leave his previous hideout.

2 year Bloggiversary
I can’t believe it’s been that long. It feels like just yesterday that I decided to make this blog. Here’s a list of people I’d like to thank:
@booperdoopcr - Your theory posts are what got me interested in coming here. In fact, you got me into Antisepticeye theories in the first place. You opened me up to a new and exciting part of the fanbase and I couldn’t be more thankful. 😈
@melissatreglia -You’re one of the first people I got into contact with on here. From the second we met each other on here, you’ve been liking and reblogging almost all my posts, sending me your support and giving your hard opinion on things I wouldn’t have talked about online a few years ago. Thank you so much for that!
@shadowsinyoursoul & @bifelicia319 -You gave me advice and support without even knowing me. It warms my heart that someone would do that. I consider both of you my friends and whether it be on stream, or through your fanfiction, I will keep touch with you.
@10th-no-name-person- You were the first person who messaged me first. It surprised me that anyone would do that (and not be a porn bot or a stalker). I instantly loved your personality and attitude. From then on, I’ve messaged you, talking about my problems and accomplishments, inviting you to streams, and just having a doofy smile on my face whenever we talk. Thank you for being there!
@hoodedphoenix - Thanks for being just a genuinely good person, not only for me, but many other people. You’re the first person I role-played with. You’re the one who’s always there to give encouragement or advice. Thank you for just being there!
@ellynore-moonwood - You’re such a talented voice actress! Your awesome voice-overs introduced me to a part of the community that I didn’t even know existed. In fact, I don’t think I’d know about @ego-incorporated if it wasn’t for you. Thank you so much for that!
@septicwhovian97 -Thank you for being such a kind, funny, welcoming part of the JSE community!
@septicjpeg -Thanks for all the wholesome memes!
@gokath123 @lum1natrix @iamsiimonevl @spnfanatic4ever -Thank you for all the awesome edits. You’re very talented and I wish you all nothing but the best!
@huffletrax @turquoisemagpie @angie-artness @caustic-synishade @deepeearts @piligy @van-arts @luci-morningstar812 @run-stray-wolf @whabooski @spunketpunk @anti-sharky -Thank you all for just being talented artists! You draw/paint beautiful stuff that I never could. So glad to see your work every day!
@jessiefrance -Thank you for being an example of strength. No matter what the world has thrown at you, you haven’t given up. You’ve fought the good fight, but stayed the same person with the same kind heart. I’m so inspired by you! Keep going, Jessie. You got this!
@septic-dr-schneep @egopocalypse @ashphoenix06 @astudyingreer @epicfangirl01 & @acuaticamber06 -Thank you for all the awesome stories! They have inspired me to write stories again. You’re all amazing! Keep doing what you’re doing.
And, of course thanks to...
@markiplier @therealjacksepticeye @thatsthat24
For giving us these wonderful communities!

Whumptober Day 18 & 21: Muffled Scream/Laced Drink
Summary:  A Dark Alter Ego of the JSE Community kidnaps Sean and gives him an ultimatum.  Use his Creative Power to make them real or they will trade places with his girlfriend, Evelyn Smolders aka Girl Gamer Gab.  Leaving her to live out the rest of her life in Egopocalpse.
Guest Staring:  @weirdmixofweirdness as the Narrator, @therealjacksepticeye (as himself and the Egos) and @gabsmolders (herself)
A/N:  Okay, this idea came to me after seeing a post from @weirdmixofweirdness  saying that she is thinking about Cosplaying as female like Darkiplier.  My Muse took that idea and ran with it!  So, WeirdMix, I do apologize for the bad and probably very cliche villain type, character name.
(Cabin in the Woods)
Sean had no idea how he had gotten here.  The last thing Sean remembered was being at the Halloween Party that Chase and his crew threw.  Sean looked around, he was in a Cabin, in the middle of the woods.  The Cabin itself reminded Sean so much of his old cabin that he used to live in years ago.  When Sean tried to get up or use his arms, he noticed that he was tied to a chair.
‘Great okay, don’t panik Sean.  Don’t panik.  The others had to notice that you went missing, and they’re on their way to save you.  Just gotta by some time was all.  You can do this!’  Sean thought to himself.
“Ah, you’re awake.  I was afraid that I mighta slipped too much into your drink last night,” came a calm female voice.
‘Last night?!’  Now Sean was starting to panik.  He looked over to where the voice came from.  There standing in the doorway was what Sean could only describe a gothic female Darkiplier.  Black dress, straight hair, eyeliner, red lipstick and black fingernail polish.  The black rose lace shawl that came across her shoulders that really added to the effect.
She smiled when she came in and stood right in front of Sean.  Neither one of them took their eyes off each other.
“You’re probably wondering why I brought you here, aren’t you?”  She questioned, at Sean’s nodded she continued.  “Well, I probably should introduce myself first then get right down to business with you, Sean.  Or do you go by Jack nowadays?”  She smirked when Sean’s eyes widen.  “Oh, yes.  I know who you are.  But you don’t know me, at least not yet.  And no, Sean, I’m not one of those obsessive-stalker-type fans, either.”
Sean wasn’t sure if he believed her or not.  Considering the situation he was in at the moment.
“You see Sean, I need your help.  I’m what you would call an Alter Ego.  I know you don’t recognize me and no I’m not an Alter Ego of a YouTuber, not even an up and coming one.  I’m an Alter Ego of one of your Community Members.  She actually has a Twitch account and she’s not bad of a writer.  Oh, I never introduced myself have I?”  Sean didn’t say anything, instead he just shook his head no.  “I’m the Narrator.  Basically, a female version of a cross between the Author and the Host.  Everything I write then Narrate or just Narrate could and would even come true.”
She turned around to the book shelf to her left and picked up an old leather like notebook and a pen set.  She turned back around to face Sean with the notebook and pen set in hands.  “You know what I want more than anything else?”  She asked looking longly at the book.  “I want to be real.”
=========================================
“Wait, what now?”  Came a voice that only the Narrator could hear.
“Oh for the love of all Writers and Creators!”  The Narrator exclaimed.  Looking extremely annoyed at the ceiling.  “Hey!  Puppeteer With A Pencil!  Could we please get on with the story here!?”
“Um?  I’m not  Puppeteer With A Pencil.”
“Wait, what?  You’re not?”
“Nope!”  The writer of this story popped the “p.”  “I’m not her!”
“Weidmix Of Weirdness?”
“Oh, no.  I’m not her either!  But I’ll let her know that you thought of her!”
“Okay, then who are you?”
“Um, Lil Devyl?”
“Seriously?  She gave this story to a newbie?!”
“I, guess?”
“Let’s get on with this,” the Narrator sighed.
==================================
Sean was watching this exchange with shocked wide eyes.  Who was this person talking too?  Writer?  What writer?  This wasn’t a story!  Okay, this Alter Ego must be more crazy then Wilfred if she actually thought that she was talking to someone who was writing a fanfiction.  He really needed to figure out a way to get out of here and fast.
The Narrator turned her attention back to Sean and continued as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.  “Like I said.  I want to be real.  I want to be able to live in your world.  Outside of Egopocalpse.  And you’re going to make that possible.”  The Narrator shoved the notebook and the pen set into Sean’s tied hands.
“And how do you purpose that I go about doing that?”  Sean nearly demanded starting to feel a bit braver.
“You’re a Creator.  You Created all of your Egos.  Jackieboy Man, Marvin, Schneep, that Brody guy that takes over your Channel every now and then.  Oh, yes, I know who you are.  JackSepticeye!”
Sean paled at that tidbit.  No one in Egopocalpse knew that he was famous YouTuber, let alone that they were Alter Egos that he had created!  Oh, god! “What do want me to do?”
“Use your magic.  Use you Creator Powers.  Make me real,” the Narrator seemed to have a bit of threat in her voice.  “Or you could just refuse and face the consequences.”
“Like what?”  Sean demanded.
The Narrator walked over to another chair and it was then that Sean realized that there was another person in the same room as him.  There was a muffled scream coming from underneath the bag that was on top of their head.  And Sean then recognized who it was  and his heart sank to the bottom of his stomach.
The Narrator smirked at Sean as she ripped the bag off of her other captor.  “Or I could change places with Evelyn Smolders here.  I believe she’s known as Girl Gamer Gab.  What a wonderful life you have.  Being real.”  Evelyn gagged and tied to her chair.  Tried so hard to say something to Sean and get the ropes off of her!
“So, what’s it going to be Sean?  Use your Creator Power and make me a real person?  Being able to live outside of Eggpocalypse?  Or do me and Evelyn switch places?  She lives the rest of her life as me and I live the rest of my mind as her?”

1. “Have y’all ever heard of the concept of sneaking? Because this is not how it’s done.” Jur I can see this with our feesh boys! Maybe Jackie/Anti taking the less experienced predator boys (like Schneep and Marvin) our hunting? ...I can also see Jackie being pretty loud when hunting too so XD
“Ok so first lesson on hunting is to not do that,” Jackie said as Schneep barrel rolled into the side of a cliff face. Anti loudly sighed behind him and Marvin cackled wildly off to the side.Schneep hissed as he came back after the unsuccessful lunge he made for the Peeper. “As if you can do any better,” He snapped at Marvin who grinned.“Bet you I can.”Jackie swam forward, “No, no, no to both of you we’re here to learn how to hunt not get angry at each other.”Tentacles brushed up against Jackie’s side and Anti settled next to him. “Why don’t you go try teaching the others and I’ll deal with these two,” Anti suggested as Schneep and Marvin continued arguing. With a tiny huff Jackie nodded and took off back towards the Safe Shallows.Anti watched his two brothers for a second before cutting them both off, “Since you both want a competition I’ll give you both ten minutes and whoever brings me back the most amount of fish wins.”Both Schneep and Marvin grinned at each other while Anti crossed his arms, Well? Go!”They took off into the creepvines and Anti settled on the sandy floor and listened to them both swim around and yell as they crashed into each other and cliff faces. A familiar shriek had Anti smiling as Marvin swam by desperately with a Stalker hot on his tails. A moment later Schneep came plunging down chasing after a Hoopfish that was just out of his reach until it darted up and Schneep realized to late hos close he was to the ocean floor. Anti laughed outright as Schneep collied with the ocean floor in a explosion of sand. “Have y’all ever heard of the concept of sneaking? Because this is not how it’s done,” Anti called out. He didn’t get a response back but the next time Jackie went to teach them how to hunt they were a lot more attentive.

18 w/anybody and Schneep blease
After not seeing the man who’d been watching the house for nearly a week, everyone had dropped their guard. Jackie’s continued presence at the house must’ve scared the stalker off (which was odd seeing as Schneep thought they’d been after the hero—why leave if the one they were looking for showed up?). Now it just one of those close calls that faded into the backs of their minds.
Schneep shoved his hands deeper into the pockets of his coat, hunching forward and ducking his head. The streets were particularly icy today and he didn’t want to wait at work for a taxi that probably wasn’t open. That being said, the sidewalks weren’t any better—he’d already slipped more than he’d care to admit and fallen three times.
Taking a right and slipping into an alleyway, the thought that someone else would be down here never even crossed his mind—every time he’d used the shortcut it’d been empty. And that’s how he got here: crumpled on the ground, trembling hands hovering over his screaming ribs, crushing his ability to breathe properly. Every breath came out in a shaky wheeze and a shallow inhalation, right side flaring up in fresh pain.
The figure loomed above him, baseball bat dragging against the ground. They crouched down next to him, and he attempted to scramble back but inevitably getting nowhere.
“Are you prepared for the kind of death you’ve earned little man?”
Seems like the person wasn’t after Jackie after all.

The Bunker!Egos, A Summary
Jackie: I could literally brutally murder someone without barely making an effort because of my superpowers, but fuck you, you’re valid and I’m going to cuddle you until the world ends.
Marvin: Social life who? Don’t know her. But hey, have you seen my newest magic fuckery experiment?
Schneep: Tea-spilling workaholic smartass who’s always making power moves and always done with everyone’s shit.
Chase: The saddest, sweetest dork who just needs cuddles.
Jameson: I have no idea what’s going on so I’m just gonna smile and let my cuteness get me through every situation.
Anti: Stalker bitch ass with a god complex who probably has a cannibalism fetish, who knows what the fuck he’s doing anymore

Stalkers and Masks
Septics Inverted
A JSE Fanfic
These are two moments that I really wanted to address, but I felt both were too short for their own story. So I took one and made it a framing device for the other. One’s about Stacy and what she’s going through, and the other is about Marvin and one of his problems. Ehhh, probably not my best work but I’ve done these two plot points all the justice I can.
Read the intro story: Part One | Part Two
Various other AU-related stuff found here

Stacy liked to think that her computer was secure. She kept up-to-date on her antivirus software, didn’t give trust anything that asked for her security information, and kept her passwords on a sheet of paper in her nightstand drawer instead of anywhere digitally that could be hacked. However, she quickly learned that all these precautions were for naught when it came to the living glitch who decided he wanted to check on her every ten hours or so. She’d be browsing the Internet and suddenly the webpage would freak out. That didn’t mean she was being hacked (actually, technically she was) it just meant Anti decided to pop in.
Honestly, she was starting to warm up to him. Maybe that was because he hadn’t showed up in person for the last week so she didn’t have to deal with his personality. Occasionally she’d get an email or text from a blocked user, asking her how life was, if she was safe. And, well, life was better. She’d gotten a new job at a department store with better pay. The hours were good too, now she had time to spend with her kids and also get enough sleep. Things in the city seemed to have calmed down, in that there was less death and disappearance on the news.
But...something was off. There were times when she was out and about, driving the kids to places or running errands on her own, when she felt like someone was watching her. When she looked around, she usually didn’t see anyone. But there were times when she thought she saw...him. To the point where it was starting to freak her out.
One night, after putting the kids to bed, she sat down at her computer and typed a simple phrase into Google: “how to tell if someone is stalking me.” Immediately, the page froze. She hit enter several times, trying to search, but a strange, rapid staticky beeping just came out from her speakers. And it was that moment when she realized it wasn’t just something wrong with her Internet.
A fizzing of pixels later, Anti was sitting on her desk, legs dangling off the side. “What are you, seven?” she asked before her brain could catch up with her mouth.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” Anti said. “So what’s up with that search?”
“Are you spying on me whenever I use Google?”
“No, I just installed a program to let me know when certain words were searched. Such as ‘stalk’ or ‘stalking.’” His eye narrowed. “So? What’s the deal? Is it him?”
“I’m...not sure,” Stacy said slowly. “Sometimes I think I see him, other times I just get a...a vague sort of sense that...someone’s watching me. It’s probably nothing, I’m probably just being stupid, but...better safe than sorry, y’know?”
“Definitely, especially considering they could be magically tracking you.”
Stacy gaped at him and his nonchalant statement. “Excuse me?”
“Come on, you were there that night at the diner. You saw that magic was real. Didn’t you think something like that was possible?”
“No, I didn’t.” Stacy leaned back in her swivel chair. “I guess it never occurred to me that that was a-a possibility. I didn’t know the rules for this sort of thing. Sorry, I should have thought—I should have known.”
Anti stared at her, then glitched off the desk and into a standing position. “No, you really shouldn’t have, because nobody told you. It’s not your fault, so don’t assume it is. I could possibly give you a brief overview, let you know what you’re in danger of.”
“Oh! Th-thank you!” Stacy hadn’t realized she was apologizing for things that weren’t her fault. Force of habit, she assumed. She looked at the computer screen, where her question still lingered, unsearched, in the search bar. “Do you think...I-I mean, I know Chase doesn’t have any magic, unless he does and I didn’t know, so...are they teaming up?”
Anti considered this. “Probably. Your ex and the magician aren’t on the best terms, but they’re civil. You’d be in more danger of having the doctor or the vigilante stalking you for him, those guys are closer.”
For some reason, that simple statement made dread pool in her stomach. “H-how many of them are there again?”
“Five.”
“And...and they could all help Ch—help him follow me?”
“Mmm, probably.”
“Oh my god. Oh my god.” Stacy sat on her hands to keep them from shaking. She’d never done anything in her life to warrant so many enemies. And, if she remembered correctly, these guys were responsible for most of the current chaos and terror in the city. She worked hard to take deep, controlled breaths. “Do you...do you have any, uh, um, any info on these guys I could see? You’re all computery, do you have files on them or something?”
“I do. But you don’t want the full files, you’ll lose sleep. I can maybe give you some edited versions...” Anti’s head tilted to one side. He stared intently at her computer screen. She watched as her browser closed and her file explorer opened. By itself, the computer navigated to the downloads folder, then five new folders appeared, each one labeled with a name, followed by (edit).
“Huh...that’s handy.” Stacy scooted her chair closer to the desk, grabbing the mouse. She stared at the folder with his name on it for a while, but she couldn’t bring herself to click on it. Instead, she clicked on the next one down, opening up the folder to reveal various .txt files.
“There used to be photos and videos in here,” Anti said, peering over her shoulder.
“Why’d you remove them?”
“How squeamish are you?”
“I mean...my daughter broke her arm once. It was all bent but I could look at it.”
“I probably made a good call then.” Anti pointed at one of the files, and it opened up. “Brief overview: guy’s a doctor. Not really, ‘cause he got booted from medical school for maltreatment. Didn’t stop him from faking graduation, getting a job at a hospital, and then stealing the patients who wouldn’t be missed.”
“This sounds like the backstory of a horror movie villain,” Stacy laughed nervously.
Anti didn’t laugh. “I’m sure the patients thought they were stuck in a horror movie.” He gave Stacy a dead-eye stare until her smile faded. Then he turned back to the screen. “Police in his home country found out. He ran, ending up here. Started a nice little black-market clinic and kept up his hobby.”
“You know I think I’ll read this one later, when it’s lighter outside.” Stacy hurried to click out of the folder. She opened up the next one instead. This one had videos as well as text files. “...should I be worried about these?” she asked, circling one of the videos with the mouse.
“Nothing explicit, just violence like you’d see in a movie. Criminals get the shit beat out of them. The works.”
“Wait...this is for that vigilante, isn’t it? The one on the news?” Stacy looked at the folder name. “That’s his real—”
“Yep. So if you see a guy who looks like this—” He opened one of the videos, fast forwarding until he got to a good image of the vigilante’s face. “—and he introduces himself to you as that, you better run. Actually, don’t, he’s probably faster than you. Distract him until you can sneak away.”
“He can’t be that bad, can he?” Stacy asked, skeptical. “I mean...getting rid of the criminals in the city? It’s like a real-life superhero.”
“Well, superheroes don’t beat confessions out of mob members and then murder them. He’s probably the safest to have a conversation with, though. Assuming you haven’t done anything illegal.”
“O-kay...then...” Stacy was starting to realize just how deep this trouble she was in really was. She could feel the beginnings of panic edging in on her, but she pushed it away. She’d let herself freak out later. “Wh-what about that magician guy? I think you called him Marvin in the diner? Can he really...magically track me?”
“Probably.” Anti closed the vigilante’s folder and opened up the magician’s. There were a lot of images in this one, what looked like pictures of pages from books. “I’ve been trying to keep track of the spells he knows, but it can be difficult. There’s a good chance he knows a tracking spell, but he probably wouldn’t use it unless someone, like your ex, asked him to.”
“...do I want to know why?”
“Eh, he doesn’t really care for spells like that. If they can’t produce effects he can see, he won’t use them unless necessary. He’s a flashy bitch like that. Has a style and sticks to it. Like that cape, which he only takes off maybe one day per week, and that mask, which I actually haven’t seen him take off yet.”
“Really? Never? Not even to sleep or take a shower or anything?”
“Sleeps with it on. And I’m don’t know about that shower thing, I didn’t put a camera in their bathroom.”
Stacy briefly wondered if his knowledge about sleeping with the mask meant he’d put cameras in the bedrooms, but she pushed that out of her mind for now. “Why? Seems uncomfortable...”
Anti laughed. “Well, a long time ago, he tried a spell he wasn’t ready for, and it blew up in his face. I’m pretty sure he’s embarrassed about what it looks like underneath there...”
“Schneep! I know for a fact you’re in there!” Marvin banged on the door. When there was still no answer, he sighed, looking around the reception room of the clinic where he was standing. He didn’t like this place. It was that kind of almost-nice that looked like it was trying to fool you into thinking it was less shady than it actually was. The good doctor really needed to upgrade his decor.
Having enough of contemplating his dislike of this place, Marvin turned back to the door and started banging harder. “Hey doc! I’m not against melting your door down if you don’t come out in the next thirty seconds!”
The door flung open, and Marvin barely jumped out of the way in time to avoid getting a whack to the face. Schneep poked his head out. He was wearing his mask, which he proceeded to pull down in order to scowl at Marvin. “There is no need for such a commotion, my friend!” he scolded. “I was in one of the back rooms, I did not hear you for a while and then it took me a tick-tock to get here.”
“Whatever. Get a security camera wired up here, or a buzzer or something. I could’ve been a customer who just decided to take business elsewhere.”
Schneep barked out a laugh. “If people come here, it is not because they have options to take business to. But enough of this, what did you want?”
Marvin shifted on his feet. “I...need you to take a look at something.”
“Oh, is that all?” A wave of relief crossed Schneep’s face. He stepped back, opening the door wide enough for Marvin to pass through. “Come in, come in, I can see what it is back here.”
Marvin let Schneep lead him into the operating part of the clinic, but he refused to sit down on the table. “It seems not so serious, so if you would please wait a moment while I take care of this...” Schneep vanished through one of the metal doors leading deeper into the building, leaving Marvin to tap his feet impatiently. He didn’t like this. First of all, this place looked like it was thrown together, and also needed an upgrade. Second of all, he was already having doubts about this, he didn’t want them to have time to fester.
Schneep reemerged, tossing an empty syringe on a nearby tray. “There we are, we will not be disturbed now,” he said. “What is it you need help with?”
Marvin started fidgeting, pulling on his fingers. “Okay. So. I am—look, I’m trusting you with this. You can’t tell anyone, alright?”
“That is no problem.”
“I’m serious. I will literally put a fucking curse on you if I find out you told anyone.”
“Okay.”
“I’ve been working on one that can make it feel like pins are being shoved in your eyes whenever you look at something, and that something can be as vague as a specific color. Y’know, like the literal version of ‘cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye.’”
“Now you are going overboard with this. I have no intention of telling anyone whatever it is this is about. This secret of yours is safe with me.”
Marvin exhaled slowly, and looked toward the ceiling. “Okay. Okay, good. Fuck. Here goes nothing.” Before he could change his mind, he reached up and undid the straps of his mask, then pulled it off. He slowly looked back towards the doctor.
Schneep’s eyes were wide. He stepped forward until he was uncomfortably close to Marvin. He raised his hand. “May I...?”
Marvin hesitated. “...fine,” he grumbled. “But take off your gloves, they’re still messy. And be careful.”
The doctor pulled off his gloves, then put his hands on either side of Marvin’s head, turning it from side to side so he could get a better look. “My god,” he muttered. “What happened to you?”
“That’s not your fucking business,” Marvin said through gritted teeth. “But they’ve been...itching for a while now, and I’m wondering if they’re infected or something.”
“I would be surprised if they were not. They look...angry.” Schneep’s eyebrows furrowed. “How old are they?”
“I think about...four years at this point?” Marvin started turning his mask over in his hands. It was hard to remember sometimes.
“Really? I would think only a couple months.”
“Doc, I’ve been living with you for two years and haven’t once taken off my mask. You didn’t think there was a reason for that?”
“Ah yes.” Tentatively, Schneep reached out and tapped Marvin in the middle of his forehead. “What is this?”
“Okay, that’s enough.” Marvin yanked his head back.
“Excuse me, I am concerned! That looks like bone!”
“It’s not bone, it’s just—making my first mask out of ceramic was a really bad idea, ‘cause even magically-enhanced pottery can still shatter.”
“Why do you have ceramic embedded in your face?!”
Marvin resisted the urge to touch the places where the shards had ended up lodging. He had them memorized by now, mostly because of the dead spot in his nerves there. Forehead, upper cheeks, one between his nose and left eye, one above his right. He could have dealt with the rest of the scars, if only the shards weren’t there. “Look, I was wearing my old mask at the time this happened, it broke, I ended up getting pieces of porcelain fucking stuck to my face, can we move on?!”
Schneep raised his hands in surrender, stepping back. “Okay, okay, fine!”
“Thank you.” Marvin began spinning his mask around his pointer finger, using one of the eyeholes. “Anyway, can you tell if they’re infected? And can you help if they are?”
Schneep bit his lip, eyes scanning the damage. “Well, I would have to know what caused them. They look a bit like burns, but in the pattern of knife slashes. Like hot glass.”
“What?”
“Bits of broken glass, heated up so they will burn, flung at your face. That’s what it looks like. There are also parts where I am reminded of Lichtenburg figures.”
“What?” Marvin repeated, exasperated.
“When things are struck by high voltage, patterns will appear. These are not quite the same as scars of lightning, they are...bigger. But I am reminded of them.”
Marvin sighed. “You know what? Let’s just work under the assumption that someone took a hot, electrified knife and repeatedly applied it to my face, that’s probably as accurate as you’re going to get. There might also be some lingering traces of magic in there.”
Schneep rolled his eyes. “Well, I cannot do anything about that, but if they are itching and irritating you, I have some salves that may help. They are in the other back room, the storage one, if you would kindly follow me.”
“Alright, alright, but I hope you find this stuff quickly. Chase is making me watch his ex for him, and I don’t feel like getting into a shouting match with him over not actually doing it.”
It was around midnight when Stacy decided to go to bed. She’d tried to read through the file Anti had given her on the magician, but had to stomp halfway through. Some of these spells...why would anyone want to use spells like that? Instead, she switched to reading the vigilante’s file, managing to finish it. Then she realized it was way too late, and she had to get up early to make breakfast for the kids, get ready for work, take the kids to school, and go to work herself. That was only four things, but that was too much.
She was walking down the hall to her room when there was a knock on the front door.
Fear jolted through her. Who could be knocking this late at night? Nobody good, probably. She stood shock-still in the hallway, waiting for something else. When nothing happened, she swallowed her nerves and crept toward the living room and the front door. Maybe it was nothing?
When she flipped the lights on, the front room looked exactly the same as it had earlier that day. Except for one thing: there was now a brown envelope sitting on the floor, in the perfect position to have been pushed through the mail slot. Stacy slowly stepped forward. She peered through the peephole on the door, seeing nothing on the other side. So she looked down at the envelope on the floor, then bent over and picked it up. She turned it over in her hands.
There were words written on the back of the envelope. “Hello sweetheart.”
Stacy recognized that handwriting.
She collapsed on the couch, staring at the envelope, listening to her heart pounding in her ears.
He’d found her.

(u dont have to if its too weird) what would happen if yandere schneep or anti's crush walked into their room at it was like. complete stalker shrine. and then they found them there
nothing is too weird for this blog!
as for them finding them worshiping a stalker shrine to you? Both have different reactions but both are fairly… odd
Anti would have no problem easily adding you to the shine! It was all for you after all! and whats a shine without the ultimate masterpiece? You! He would quickly trap you in a glitchy and protective cage, locking you away in his room so no one but him can see you. you shouldn’t need to see anyone else, only him through his own bright glitches and the soft orange glow of the candles near the shrine. that’s all you NEED to see… or will EVER see.
Schneep will quickly flash you a friendly smile, asking you how you are as if you didn’t just walk in on him worshiping a shrine dedicated to you. as soon as you ask what the heck he was doing he lies, saying that this was a new experiment to put him into the mind of a patient with such an unhealthy and obsessive mind. the only reason it was dedicated to you he claims was because he needed to use someone he cared for very deeply. heck, he turns this into a love confession, making you almost forget about the shrine sitting behind him as he let out his feelings for you. isn’t that sweet? this lil charmer!
