Are you ok? It’s been a little while since you’ve posted ;;

I'm very very sorry for not posting at all since... New year's? Was it? I've just been busy diving deep into a new fandom and it's been occupying my brain so much for the past few months. I'm doing fine for the mmmost part I think? My mental health's sorta been deteriorating since I realised a few things about my situation and the moomin fandom's been the one thing keeping me sane, in truth this blog stopped feeling all that good to do since it's all been an excuse to dump alot of my emotional baggage onto one single character and I don't think that's a great thing to do especially if it didn't make too much sense in retrospect. Atleast now I get to neatly place all my baggage (and more) into multiple characters while still making them feel a little more in character (I hope??)

I wish I could continue this blog, but as of now I don't really feel the motivation to do so...

How did spinel react when Steven decided to give himself up to Homeworld and went with aquamarine and topaz?

She did not see it as a self-sacrifice, she saw it as a mistake on her part for not getting rid of the problem soon enough. Let's just say there was alot of intense emotions going on when it happened and none of them were close to positive until Steven miraculously came back.

This is Spinel when she was somewhere in the triangle of anger, denial and bargaining during the period where Steven was gone.

Imma just say, this is my favorite dress that I've designed myself. Like it's pretty simple, very simple even but gosh darn it it's so pretty in my opinion. So it started off with a whiteboard session with just one person this time because the others were either busy or didn't wanna do it, I did a couple doodles before I saw my friend drawing something with song lyrics and a couple of songs popped into my head so I decided to do it too.

And I made this! It's lyrics from Mxmtoon's Prom Dress, I like to imagine Spinel singing this while at an actual prom night whenever I listen to it and this was an opportunity to draw it out. I'm really proud of this lyric comic despite maybe one or two words being wrong and it just being the chorus but eh I wasn't about to do the whole song anyway. And I came up with the dress completely on the spot but I really really liked it so I drew the whole thing after the comic.

And after that I made a little doodle of her dancing around.

Which then turned into a finished drawing! I decided to not give her a mouth since giving her one kind of ruined the whole mood of the doodle.

So apparently this is gonna be a whole thing and if I'm being honest I am already planning plot points and stuff. Remember that one epic mickey themed crossover I did with @a-second-chance-su-au? Well, @luciifluffii added onto that with an animatronic version of their AU Spinel so I'm just here brainstorming stuff and using it as an excuse to insert some of my unused AUs and now I'm questioning my sanity because holy heck do am I way too hyped for this.

By the way Dragon Steven is from @how-to-train-your-monster which is made by the same person who made a second chance AU aka @dimonds456, the rest of the AUs (except the animatronic swap Spinel and Volleyball) are made by me because I have way too many ideas that I don't draw enough of, they'll mostly be regular npcs in my mind except for maybe CG Bluebird and of course the two "monsters" in there.

Spinel, Amethyst, and Steven?

Say hi to Thulite!

I had the idea kinda bouncing around my head a little bit but never really codified a solid idea for them until now, I actually really love how Thulite's whole design turned out and I think they're pretty cute, personally! I'm not sure wether or not they'd actually be canon, I might just put them in the "maybe yes" box for now.

Thulite primarly goes by they/them but female pronouns are also acceptable, probably because Spinel and Amethyst let Steven's own personal flair show up in the fusion more and the fusion is just a fun experience all around! They're actually pretty squishy, Spinel's stretching ability might be a little drowned out by the other two gems in the fusion but eh what're you gonna do about it.

Their weapon is the classic justice scale but Thulite uses it as a 2 in 1 bindle, I like the thought that Thulite was supposed to be a fusion for performing actual justice and decision making but they decided that they wanted to be a hobo like the no home boys haha. My thought process of the design is that Thulite would be more of a combination of Smokey Quartz, Rhodochrosite and Amazonite rather than simply a combo of the components, with the added theme of a young hobo from the west trying to find their place in the world in the most optimistic yet carefree way possible. That's mostly based on the thought that Spinel would tag along with Amethyst and Steven in "on the run".
