I hate both Mcu Tony and comics Tony for alot of different reasons too many reasons to really get into but it does all just boil down to they're both considered these great heroes when they shouldn't be they've both done horrible things and are genuinely horrible people like I said before if the text actually treated them like villains I wouldn't have a problem with them but theyre not which means they'll never have to answer or be punished or take accountability for what they've done and I hate that

I haven't watched the finale but I was thinking about how Hedy calls Susie "Susan," presumably because that's her full name. I keep thinking back to a scene in season 1 or 2 (can't remember for sure because the first 3 seasons were out when I started watching the show) and Midge calls the news stand where Susie is working asking to speak with "Susan Myerson." Susie, having answered the phone, says "Who the fuck is Susan Myerson?" In the back-and-forth, Midge is surprised she was named Susie at birth. Now, I have a sneaking suspicion this was just written for the laughs early on in the show, but I think it's interesting that they decided to go back and have Susie actually be called Susan after all. That's what Hedy calls her, and she's someone from Susie's past, decades prior to the story. I think it says a lot that she changed her name so much that she denied to Midge that it was ever anything else or that it was short for something, even though it makes sense as a shortened form of her name. It's giving queer self-actualization, not only suggesting that Susie was hurt by Hedy in the past and wants to distance herself from that, but also perhaps that her identity wasn't fully formed back then, and she's since chosen an identity for herself that's separate from who she'd believed herself to be before.

okay but what I need to know is, sure New Asgard is some kind of little sovereign country carved out of Norway, which I’m sure was an extremely complicated piece of political maneuvering, but did they also carve out a zone of the ocean under New Asgard’s fisheries jurisdiction where New Asgard gets to set their own fisheries regulations (in cooperation with neighboring countries though obviously because fish stocks don’t really...stay still), or does all of the nearby ocean remain part of Norway’s economic zone and New Asgard has to obey all their fisheries regulations while otherwise having autonomy over what they actually do with their catch? like--what seems more likely, in the extremely weird situation of a bunch of refugee aliens/gods landed on a cliffside in Norway and said Odin wanted them to live there?

yes of course this is for a fic, no of course it doesn’t actually matter, it’s highly unlikely to show up in more than a paragraph at the very most, and most likely the kinds of catch reporting and license requirements they’d need would be fairly similar no matter who was in charge just by virtue of international trade agreements and like, not actively pissing off their neighbors, so a character trying to--for instance--wrangle paperwork would probably be wrangling a lot of the same paperwork regardless

but it’s going to bug me not knowing

how are there still zero mavg!Bruce/Clint fics on ao3. what more could you want. bruce offers, unprompted, clint an air mattress in his room even though there are at least three empty crew quarters he could use. they have a secret coffee place that clint didn't want bruce to take monica to. clint warned bruce to stay away from monica. bruce is learning asl even though he's terrible at it. bruce is aware that clint consistently goes through their rooms and is only mildly annoyed at this. 1/3 of clint's audio files are to bruce. Having finally completed the main story of Midnight Suns, I’m generally really impressed with the variety of easter eggs and continuity nods that the game has to offer...
