SERVER CLOSED FOR THE TIME BEING

Hidden beneath the thick fog deep in Halimaw Woods, sits secrets that an ordinary human grows increasingly curious about with every passing day. Tales of creatures from fiction, storybooks claiming to be "Historically accurate" events of what had happened years prior in the small town nestled within inner Oregon. Every child's parent scoffs it off with dismissal, "Fairytales, stories, nothing more." However, they had lived to see the truth all those years ago.. The truth of Halimaw, and the monsters within the woods.

The truth is, Vampires and Werewolves had once lived amongst humans, adapting to society and intermingling with humans, ranging within anything from Friendships, to even Romance. This also created lots of interbred offspring, half wolves, and half vampires now trotting around communities and befriending human children. Despite most of society seeming to grow accustomed to this change, albeit a little nervous still.. there are always extremists.

These extremists worked their way into local governments, protests, advertisements, until they had gathered enough steam to make these monsters a big enough deal to be banished from human life. "Dangerous, harmful to children, unpredictable." It hadn't helped that vampires were natural hunters, still needing to feed upon humans to satisfy their needs and continue existing. Unfortunately, this had become the last straw, and perfect bit of evidence to create the law that banished monsters to their own realm. Werewolves and Vampires were split amongst the land within, creating their own communities, and survining the extremist hunters that still attempted to sneak in for a trophy prize above their mantle.

The 'fairytale' of Halimaw Woods monsters is entirely true.. but only a few humans live to tell the stories of what they found within the thick woodlands. However, most of the disappearances weren't the fault of either monster faction.. but rather, a new threat that has risen on the land. The good thing? You get to take part of this.

† The Clans & Covens RP server takes place on Discord, and is 18+

† We are a new Advanced Lit - Novella style RP server, writing lengthy responses with a no tolerance rule for single liners.

† Create an OC in any of our factions, From Humans to Vampires, werewolves, and even hunters. We also allow the creation of half-bred creatures. Every Monster faction has its own channel, with descriptions on abilities, weaknesses, and so forth.

† The server has a full channel dedicated to the story lore, with lots more to it and a description about the new threat. We're very immersive, and detailed with our storytelling, wanting everyone to get hooked in, and be a part of our adventure.

We're still putting the info together and the discord/website look like a tornado ran through them, but here is a break down of what Hetherev (2) is. This group is 21+ only. So is the discord. Hetherev was an ArtRPG on Deviantart that I created some years ago, with the help of a small group whose names I don't quite remember. I kept the name for sentimental reasons, but this group is new and uses Discord as its base. It is not a reset of or continuance of the former. It is its own thing, with new sets of challenges and a slightly different spin on the interdimensional trope Heth was originally based on.

From the website: Hetherev is a fantasy world that exists between other worlds. Anyone from anywhere can just happen into it! Getting there is easy. Getting out? ... Not so much. Drop an OC in our sandbox and progress its story by drawing challenges and exploring zones, and meet some other OCs along the way! Work at your own pace. There are no deadlines! Do I have to Rp? Nope. Roleplay is available if you want it, but this is an art challenge group that encourages its members to do more art and learn from the art that they do, while having fun progressing their character's story. It's an artist's playground and an excuse to draw your OC meeting the OCs of others. There are no deadlines and no pressure to return art if someone happens to draw your OC in their challenge. This group is 21+ and up only. I wish we could include all ages, but this is non-negotiable. We look forward to seeing you all when you turn 21- and of course ArtRPGs are not unique to us. Anyone can make one. Do I have to be an artist? An understanding of the basics and a willingness to draw characters in interactive scenes is required to do art challenges- so on some level yes. We accept a broad range of skill levels. However if you're not an artist and want to lurk, you're welcome to come do so. Can I lurk? Yup. when did you join ? what made you join ? what do you remember from the plotlines that were current at the time ? where were you in life when you joined and where are you now ?

i was in college! april 2018. but i was looking for something new to join. i liked the political aspect of the rp, it was still a pairs rp with the alliance system that seemed fun. i was in the middle of my political science major so i liked the idea of using what i was learning. also the main was very pretty. a lot of it was new to me, that's when we were all using icons and i didn't know what the heck small text was.

which characters have you written over the years ?

oh no, let's see: elyse, aslan, michael, daisuke, roxanna, stella, rebeka (i think was her name??) (stella part 1 kinda), ester (remember the pons?), domas (daisuke part 1 lbr), there was a daniel bruhl fc early on rip to him, ming fa (jianguo part 1), jianguo (my sweet boy, i did you dirty), queen of nambia i don't remember your name but you were fun, duchess of brittany i think?

what is your favourite plotline that you've been part of ?

the russian plots were always super sexy and the zulus were so good. also england. just all of it.

who is your favourite character from the ones you've played ? why ? what made you love them ? what made them so fun to write ?

elyse, my little nightmare. she grew up with me it feels like. i was studying nationalism and populism in my undergrad degree and i wanted to play with those styles of politics. she's so screwed up but i love her. her insecurity and the way that makes her clings to her choices, even when they are clearly bad. i think we all do that sometimes, we fear something and the create the situation that we fear. honorable mention to my baby michael and my favorite villain domas/daisuke who would just plan fun.

probably my early ones, like early prussia. i learned so much in this half decade about writing, storytelling, and working in a group. i am entirely grateful to all of you for teaching me with kindness and love.

i'm not going to lie, i've had kalyse on my mind recently. but we had a whole thing with michael planned out and northern ireland which would have been fun. and we had some stuff planned for daisuke too that would have been interesting. also, if we had done it, you would have screamed at the mexico/cuba plot

They are THE voice master dude. The way they weave words together feels right out of a fairytale with this whimsical magic to it that gets me lost in the moment!!! i can’t help but get swept up in their beautiful prose!!! @dynamoprotocol BRO lowkey i remember being shocked when I saw he followed me. From the writing, the care to detail, the art, Clarissa/Chance’s development, the worldbuilding, AND he’s CHILL AS FUCK??? and you wanna follow ME dude??? for real though, i cant sing enough high praises!! @natterghast i stumbled upon her by chance and sooooooo happy i did <33 their ocs absolutely captivated me, each one has this cozy cosmic horror vibe that im? obsessed with?? pet peeves/dealbreakers: the biggest ones for me rn are like … needlessly aggressive ooc attitudes, be it towards anons, in rules, in posts— esp if someone is flaunting about being mean i uh. have fun i guess? not for me.

Condescending rules, especially those geared towards oc’s, might even result in an insta-block from me. (i promise it’s okay to just say ur selective overall and leave it at that).

muse preference ( fluff, angst, smut ): I generally like to lean more into light-hearted & comedic stuff, esp when first interacting but cus it’s fun! Once I get comfy with my rp buds tho i do loooooove to get into the meat n potatoes— the drama, the action, THE DRAMA!!! <- but a nice balance is important to me!

if everything is doom n’ gloom all the time without either a break, some sort of bitter-sweetness, and/or light at the end of the tunnel— then The Dread™ starts to feel too much for me :0 that being said … horror is … so much fun too <3

plot or memes: memes are a life savior esp when it comes to breaking the ice— i wouldn’t be cookin’ up like. any of the delectable plots i got brewing in the dms without em >:0

long or short replies: BOTH! i tend to naturally lean towards longer replies, moreso because i always have A Lot To Say™️ but i love goofing around with shorter stuff <3

best time to write: if i had my way it’d be an hour or two after i wake up in the morning and made myself my fancy energy drink + did my n.eopets dailies 💕 i try to make sure i get one day off like this each weekend it’s so lovely. Otherwise, i try not to stress about it too much and do what i can. i want my rp buds to know i genuinely dont mind waiting for replies or anything and i think it starts with how you hold yourself to that same degree too

are you like your muse?: ooooo aren’t we all in some way? it’s important to sprinkle some part or facet of YOU into them, especially ocs!

i will say, Doc is far closer alike to me versus anyone else on this blog, esp when it comes to values! he’s just far more gung-ho that i could ever have the energy to be tho. also i hope im not as stubborn as him 💀

When Worlds Collide

As the camera starts out staticky, you can hear a dark chuckle. Once the static clears out, a rather strange, mixmatched, dragon-like creatures comes into view.

"Hello, everypony! Should I say everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Discord, spirit of chaos and disharmony!"

"Originally, I wasn't scheduled to make my Tumblr debut until much later, but a certain mod informed me that desperate times call for desperate measures. Something on the line of... 'notifications'?"

"Though as exciting as it is for me to show my face early, my only complaint would be the fact that I have to SHARE this blog with others. But I suppose this will have to do for now. Perhaps if things go well here, I'll be able to have my own personal blog down the line..."

"With that being said, let's get this show on the road! I've been sent here to summon several muses here that I'm sure you'll be happy to see! After all; a lot of them are people you've met before I assume?"

And with that, Discord snapped his fingers. Just like that, tons of people(and one pony), appear. They look around in confusion before turning to face the odd creature that was before them.

“UwaaaaaaAAAAAAHHH!!!”

The spikey-haired boy ran into hiding. Oddly enough, two of them looked and dressed exactly like him. One went after the more timid version to check of him, while the other had bandages, all over his torso, arms and legs(I have no sprites for that one! T_T)

"W-what that f&ck is that?!?!"

'Kyaaaaaaah! It's a monster!'

"I'm going to assume that this is the creature who brought us here. But... why?"

Discord was rather disappointed by certain reactions as he turned away.

"A simple 'thank you' would've sufficed! But I suppose most of you aren't much a fourth-wall breakers now aren't you...? How rude! To think I actually did this to help you all on your current predicament-"

Before the draconaquus could finish his sentence, a certain pink pony zoomed in and gave him a super tight hug from behind.

"GYAAAAAGH!!!"

"Discord! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you sooooooo much for bringing us all together! I'm so happy to finally be able meet all my neighbors at once! I thought it going to take like... foreeeverrr to meet a few of them at a time! And I SO thank our mod a bejillion times for this too! And that best part is... you now get to be a part of this too! This is the best! Decision! EVERRRRRRRR!!!"

(Hello everyone. Mod Princess here. So basically, this is a chaos blog mashing @ask-timid-makoto-naegi, @danganronpa-v3-demo-au, @your-pink-party-pony, and @sole-survivor-makoto-naegi altogether. This is being done due to the recent changes on tumblr regarding the notifications. I figured that I'd have some fun and add Discord from MLP into the blog as well.

So this is what's going to happen from here on out. Every event and starter I decide to do regarding any of my other blogs are going to start off here from now on. You also can also RP on the chaos blog if you'd like. It will just require me to use other blogs to respond depending one which of my muse(s) you are interacting with. I will also be using this blog for any and all RPs that I didn't get notified on.

Aster recommends this to me as an alternative option to constantly pinging, and so far it seems to have worked after @unofficialuserluser tested it out. So now I'm giving it a go. Fingers crossed this continues to work!

Edit 5/5/2023 - Okay so I wasn’t informed until like… just now the the problem has been fixed. REALLY wish someone would’ve told me this sooner before I went ahead and made this blog. Nonetheless, it’s here and people are already interacting. So I’ll need to figure out an alternative. If you still want to interact, go ahead and do so.

Book Bound

This was inspired from a scene of RP I've been doing with Ja'far from the Magi Madness discord server. When I got the prompt "Library" I thought of this cute scene of them reading a book together on a couch, so here's a bit of that Modern Day Corporation AU~

It was a chance meeting: a Gala raising funds for charities. His brother had instructed him to network while there, but Kouen didn’t imagine he’d find someone so appealing while attempting to mingle. Something about Ja’far caught his eye and the more he learned of him, the more interested he became. They met up after the event, grabbed a bite at a cafe, worked side by side on their laptops at the park in the dark, and eventually ended up with Ja’far taking Kouen to his home so they could spar for a bit.

After spending the night, he had woken up to a delicious breakfast. Things were so pleasant, he proposed they start dating, which Ja’far accepted. This was new territory for both and Kouen still had a few hours until he needed to be at the airport.

“Let’s do something fun before I go.” As they cleaned up breakfast, Kouen eagerly waited to learn what his new boyfriend considered fun.

But then the question was turned right back at him. “Fun? What did you have in mind?”

“Oh…um…read a book together?” Kouen fumbled as his mind raced over what he enjoyed, and the hours he could spend reading history was the first thing that popped into his head. “...or…we could hit a museum or any of your favorite local places. There’s also the workout room and pool back at my hotel…” the one he was originally going to stay in before meeting Ja’far. “Or we can stay here and spar some more…” He smiled at his perceived smooth recovery and even managed to end his sentence with a coy wink.

Ja’far stared at Kouen for a moment before a chuckle parted from his lips. “I wouldn’t mind enjoying a book together. That sounds rather nice.”

The visitor’s crimson eyes darted to where he recalled seeing the living room before in this quaint abode. He imagined a couch or recliner for them to get comfortable on. “A book it is then. Do you have any recommendations?”

“Kouen, first I just need to tell you something. The moments we have shared…it is unlike anything I’ve experienced. I appreciate that it was with you.” Ja’far smiled gently as he took Kouen’s hand to lead him to his personal collection of books.

It was reciprocated with a firm but gentle grasp by a man hoping the fluster wasn’t so visible on his face. Kouen was at a loss of words from this confession, even though he felt the same way. “T-th…I…ahem…” He curled the fingers of his free hand around his mouth as he cleared his throat with solemnly closed eyes. “To have many more such experiences with you in the future would bring me great joy.”

Arriving at the home library, Kouen opened his eyes to see the selection of books. Many various non-fiction filled the shelves, indicating someone who valued facts. There were also some historical fictions that Kouen’s eyes zeroed in on. Many familiar titles and renowned authors.

His finger rubbed along the top of one, tempted to pull it out. “Oh. I’ve been meaning to read this one…”

Ja’far gently pulled the book out as soon as he heard Kouen’s interest. Silver strands of the calligraphed title contrasted beautifully against the dark brown canvas cover.

“This one it is then. I’ve never had the pleasure to actually finish it.” 

“Try not to give any spoilers,” Kouen hummed.

Ja’far directed him to a comfortable two cushion sofa in the living room. “Is here okay?”

Kouen’s hand ran along the green plaid blanket draped over the couch before sitting down to test it. Then with a smirk, he grabbed Ja’far’s wrist and pulled him onto his lap. Sideways at first, but Ja’far opted to turn and lean his back against Kouen’s chest.

He sat the book on his lap and delicately fingered the edge of the cover, savoring the moment before starting an adventure together. It would be easy to lose track of the outside world once started, so Ja’far checked, “Did you leave anything at your hotel room last night? You have time to read, but did you want to check back at the hotel?”

He had only brought the essentials for this short trip, so it was easy to gather all his things the night before. He was pretty sure everything was accounted for. Confidently, Kouen rested a hand on the slender shoulder as the book opened to the preface. “If I forgot anything, I could just buy another.” He nuzzled his chin into Ja’far��s neck. “I’d rather spend this time holding you.”

This made Ja’far’s body quiver, the closeness and attentiveness was endearing. “Of course…” Subtly, he bit his lower lip as he turned the pages to the beginning of the story.

Their height difference was perfect to allow both of them a view of the pages in this position. Ja’far started reading out loud until Kouen cut him off after a few paragraphs, giving them alternating turns to read and listen to the dulcet tones of the other’s voice. Occasionally there were side comments, with them sharing their thoughts or knowledge together. They were swept away by the contents within this magical book. It was all so comfortable and at the same time, mentally stimulating.

Every brush of one’s fingers against the other’s while turning pages sent tingling sensations up their backs. Their breaths wavered at each little squeeze, wondering how things could have gone so right for them. How unexpectedly they found their perfect match and came together as cozily as two jigsaw puzzle pieces.

Surely there must be a way to prolong their time together? Maybe Kouen could get to the airport later and V.I.P. his way through security? Or maybe his plane would be delayed? His eyes scanned across the words as Ja’far read them aloud, but his mind kept going back to the earlier confession: A unique experience, and was glad it was with him. As he wanted more, less awkward words formulated in his mind. When Ja’far finished to allow Kouen a turn, the latter squeezed his arms around the former’s waist and rested his chin on the other’s shoulder.

“These past dozen or so hours have been incredible, Thank you,” Kouen purred sincerely.

The hairs on the back of Ja’far’s neck stood upon the words that graced his ears while his entire face went red. Trying to calm his own nerves of excitement, Ja’far cleared his throat and humbly stated, “You…need not thank me for anything…”

Kouen hummed encouragingly, insisting Ja’far was worth the praise. Still, he settled back into reading out loud: such dramatic authority in his voice to compliment the author’s tone in the current scene.

After some time, they arrived at the last page of the third chapter. Upon finishing the page, the way Kouen’s hand glided over Ja’far’s was more of a caress. Seeing as it was getting late and a convenient stopping point arrived, he gently pushed the book down.

His other hand slid up Ja’far’s arm as he teased amusingly into his ear, “You should fly back with me. If nothing else, so we can finish this story together.”

Ja’far’s breath hitches, those words nothing but enticing to him. He placed a mark in the book before closing it with the intention to keep his focus strictly on Kouen. “As…amazing as that would be…I am needed here…”

“Of course,” a disappointed sigh escaped Kouen’s lips, temporarily easing his hold on the other. “Your company is lucky to have such a dedicated employee.” His arm snaked up Ja’far’s side and fingers stroked under the pale chin, urging them to make eye contact.

“You think so, hm?” Ja’far’s gaze fixated on Kouen, his pale cheeks tinted crimson.

It would be a lie if he said he did not desire someone so dedicated. “I know so.” Kouen then urged Ja’far closer for a kiss.

Ja’far indulged by pressing his lips to Kouen’s. Setting the book on the empty cusion, he shifted to more fully embrace this affection as one kiss became two and then more.  The pale fingers started twirling the red locks around them. Kouen’s arms supported the body on his lap. Every caressing touch was electrifying.

Amid the pleasant smiles, Ja’far breathed, “Kouen…”

“Ja’far?” Kouen breathed as he pulled the other closer into him.

“We shouldn’t get carried away. I don’t want to be the reason you’re late…” His dark green eyes gazed at Kouen with a hint of sadness. “It’s time to go.”

Longingly, Kouen gave one last caress on that freckled cheek. “Of course.” Sad as it was, he couldn’t help but admire the other’s responsibility.

PSA RE: New Activity & Blog Changes

//Hey guys. Please take a few minutes to read this update.

I'm overhauling the blog BIG-TIME. To save everyone long-winded explanations, I'll just do bullet points with brief (ha!) reasoning. A lot of this is stuff I've already touched on, but anyway...

Here we go:

I am going to be VERY selective with threads. I only want to focus on a few at a time.

I'm not going to do memes on my blog any more. They don't really work for me much. I may still send them to others, but I won't be reblogging any myself. No more Meme Monday. :(

I'm not going to use icons for my characters. It's too time-consuming with the upkeep and I'd rather just focus on my writing. (plus, it's hard to keep up with celebrities, knowing who's a DNI FC or whatever and I'd much rather rely on descriptions in threads where possible. FCs are just approximations anyway). You can keep using icons if you want. I don't care.

No more Character Spotlight. I love the concept and it helps big multi-muses in narrowing down characters, but it's a hassle to update it. Use the idea for yourself, if you like. I don't mind.

I won't be active very much. I don't want to make a set schedule (oh I'll only be here on the weekends, or every other day etc) so I'm just gonna write when I want to write. Those who really want to write with me will understand and have patience.

Detailed character bios will be available by request only. The Characters page includes brief info, but for those who want to read up on someone or need a refresher, you will have to IM me. ("hey can i see Andy's bio?" or "how old is Vinnie again?" etc).

The blog's going to heavily feature #TNAC short fiction and original works in addition to RP.

I'm sure there's more I need to touch on, but that's it for now. I'll update as needed.

// So, over the last several days I've tried a bunch of things to try and get something new going, memes, promo, calls, even the interest tracker a few weeks back and I received nothing at all, which kinda sucks and is demotivating honestly.

Sure if people are just plain not interested, cool, but I can't help but wonder if something is up with me? my writing or anything else. So I'm asking if there is some sorta issue you or anyone has in general with me, no judgements would be made, its just for my own sanity so I could potentially improve or at the very least gain a better understanding why no interest.

I won't lie, Im half tempted to just leave tumblr since many if not most of my older mutuals have gone in some capacity now and it lowkey feels like since I'm not part of some already involved group there's just no care/interest in interacting with me. There's no hate based on that thought either, you have the best fun with your best/close friends and mutuals after all. Its a fact. Just feels like the doors and windows to even try spreading are just sealed shut with no interest in most others to try branching outside their own group. At least that's my impression from my time on here over the years.

I apologize for the negative post but it really does feel like that right now, the ever so frequent 0 interest results across the board are just demotivating to me. To those that do still interact with me, know that your treasured and I appreciate you every second for the time spent together. You honestly have been my biggest sources of energy and caused countless smiles when I look at the dash. I've made some good friends on here and I'd like to still keep that contact if possible.

Right now its looking more likely Ill leave and stick to discord if people wanna still chat or RP there. But I dunno, maybe I just need a break? Im just not seeing the likelihood of change however which again is why I fully invite people to be brutally honest with me. If I upset people in some form or you found me boring, whatever the reason if any, I'd love to know it. I prefer harsh truth to silence. You don't learn otherwise.

I transitioned from group rp to indie a few years ago and--at the time--I was all alone. I had no connections, just a lonely barry blog to my name. I wrote drabbles by myself in the dark for two weeks until aya came across my blog with her hikari, and everything just clicked. aya made me feel included, reached out with ideas, plots and feedback, and showed love to barry and all of my muse(s)--and to this day, I still feel TREMENDOUSLY grateful for the helping hand when I felt so isolated. I definitely would not still be writing here without her.

since then, I've had an amazing time here. writing with so many different people, muses, and groups--it's all so good. my best experiences happen when I'm writing (or even plotting) with someone, and everything just works, flows, and fits together and I can just feel that shared excitement. that feeling that we're building a great story together. that's magical. that's why I'm still around, trying new muses, diving headlong into amazing plots/dynamics, letting my imagination run wild, and--as always--writing a lot. much love to EVERYONE who has helped keep that fire burning over the years, but especially ash and aya for giving that flame a chance in the first place. tysm. ❤️

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : it's been said, but--on a personal level--I wish private communication would happen more, specifically when it comes to interest levels. my time is becoming more and more limited here (sad as that is) and I have always written at a slower, longer pace. so, given how fast this place moves, I would appreciate knowing if a thread has grown stale, or if something's off.

I'm flexible. I'd like to think that I'm pretty laid-back. I want you to have fun, and you need to drop or backburner our thread because life, interest, etc. that's okay. I promise. I also don't mind reminders about cold threads or overdue replies on my end. if that's the case, please let me know right away, and I'll pick it back up or let you know my thoughts. we can try new things, or not. just let me know what you'd like to do, and we can adjust from there. that being said, lack of time or muse =/= lack of interest. I get that. you never need to rush a reply with me, and I will always (for better or worse) assume interest is still there unless told otherwise by you. I'm no herlock sholmes. (I wish I was...)

so, as a courtesy, I'd ask to please talk to me if something's wrong. if you feel the need to drop our thread or aren't interested in an interaction and/or want to start fresh. So....I'm lowkey considering whether or not I should quit RPing.TLDR version: It's me not you. I genuinely love all my threads and all of my RP partners. However, I put a ton of energy and effort into RP. Energy and effort that I genuinely think would be better put elsewhere. I don't really /want/ to quit. But a part of me is considering it. However, I won't make any hasty decisions and will definitely give it some consideration before making a choice on what to do. For a longer explanation, read under the cut.

I've been RPing since I was 13. I'm 29 now, so it's been a while. And I genuinely still love it. But in a way, that's the problem I'm facing. I want to be RPing and writing here. But...that takes away a lot of the energy I have for writing and my creativity in general. Energy that I'd definitely want to put into my work in progress, which is Alex & Tori's story.

If I do decide to stay, I'd probably have to put some rules and boundaries into place, to ensure that I wasn't using all of my writing/creativity energy in the RPC. Because as much as I love it here, I need to save some of that energy for the book I'm writing and hoping to get published eventually.

Like I said above, I will be thinking about it and won't make a hasty decision. If I decide to leave, it will be because it's what's best for me. If I decide to stay, I will do so in the way that is best for me. However, that would probably involve being an even slower replier than I already am. And any current or potential future RP partners would have to be alright with that.

I would probably adjust my rules a bit to mention that, and would also make some rules/boundaries for myself. Namely, that I wouldn't RP in the morning or afternoon, but only in the evenings. This way, in the mornings & afternoons I could put any creative energy I have into Alex & Tori's story, and any leftover creative energy into RPing.

I want to make clear that this decision, either way I decide, is 100% based on what I have (or don't have) the energy for, not on the wonderful talented writers that I currently have threads with. If I could,I would dedicate all my time to RPing. But as I go through life, as I get older, I'm realizing that the time and energy I'm dedicating to it is simply not sustainable.

So, if I do decide to stay, that would have to change. I would need to ensure that I am saving creative energy for my own work, and not pouring all of it into RP. Not that there's anything wrong with putting some energy into RPing. But for me, personally, I need to conserve my creativity and my energy so I can have enough for my WIP and other creative endeavors I want to do. So if I was able to continue RPing in a way that ensured I was able to do that, then I would be all for it.

Because RPing is a hobby I genuinely still enjoy. For all its faults, and there are many, the RPC is a fun place for me still. I am blessed to write with some wonderful, talented, lovely people. And I hope to write with more in the future if I do decide to stay.

(So far I'm leaning toward staying, but doing so where I put boundaries and limits on my time spent here, so that the time I'm not spending here can be spent (hopefully) on my WIP and other creative projects I have.)

However, if anyone has any suggestions or advice (if anyone's read this far lol), feel free to let me know. Just going to end by saying that I love you all and hope that I do decide to stay. If not, I will definitely be linking my personal blog (for those of you who don't know it) so if anyone wants to keep in touch, they can. And of course, there's always discord. <3 But yeah, just wanted to get my thoughts out.
