outfit you wish you could build in tf2, either bc the fit would be a thousand dollars on community markets or because theres just not good options to do what you want to do

More than I want any single hat or any other cosmetic in this game, what I really want more than anything else is a strange, factory new Killer Bee scattergun.

It was released back when war paints were still locked to items as individual skins and you couldn't just slap it onto anything. That means they were customized specifically for the weapon/class that they're on, and it looks SO good. It's got a little sticker of The Scout as a bee on the side of it.

Unfortunately, because it's such a rare and OLD item I don't even know how much a strange factory new would be. A non-strange factory new is already well over $100, and adding the Strange modifier to items typically makes their value go up exponentially, so it's very far out of my grasp. And even if I had the money or scrap to buy or trade for one, they're so rare that I probably wouldn't even be able to find a seller who'd sell for anything other than an astronomical price.

I imagine that every Strange FN Killer Bee are in forever-homes at the moment, which means they're virtually ungettable, unless you want to spend the money buying now-going-for-six-real-life-american-dollars Warbird Collection crates until you not only roll for the rarest item, but also in the best condition, and also with the valuable item quality. But I don't have that kind of cheddar.

There's another warpaint that looks similar on paper (it's called Hazard Warning), but when comparing them side by side it's kinda night and day how much better the Killer Bee looks.

actually lemme give yall a fandom hazard rating based on my experiences

Gravity Falls: 100/10. 2015 GF fandom was Literal Hell, especially when you consider this was also my Amino era.

TF2: 8/10. 2018 TF2 fandom was still before everyone got transgendered, or at least the majority of content then was like that. It's 10x better now don't worry but good lird it still had some things I dare not mention.

HLVRAI: 4/10. Aside from the literal antisemitism this was okay. But then again I wasn't really into the Benrey shipping and more into Boomer, aka the ship literally everyone and their grandmothers shipped. So maybe there's secret discourse I am not aware of

The Henry Stickmin Collection: 3/10. This one was more funny than bad. Like these are sticks with barely any personality and these people (me included) made some insanely complex fanon.

Psychonauts: 0/10. Self explanatory. Sickonuts is probably the least fandomy fandom ever.

Borderlands: 6/10 on the fanwork side - the Rh*ckies are everywhere but they're pretty easy to drive out with a quick enough blocking finger. 11/10 on the gameplayer side - but I still sometimes go there for inspiration and because I'm starved for content... despite the fact I need the mental equivalent of a hazmat suit for it. Definitely helps it's basically dying now

Updated Hazard's refs + tried my hand at a silly comic edit of them!

The Hazard is a defense class who uses chemical weapons! They rely on prolonged exposure to their chemicals to increase damage and hinder enemy movement -- the longer they're exposed, the more damage they take from exposure and the slower they get :)

The RED, BLU, and Classic Hazards are each their own character, but all three of them are huge sticklers for safety -- they can often be found checking and double-checking (and triple-checking) their gear to make sure everything's working properly. Because of this, they also clean often, eventually ending up as a sort of unofficial janitor for the teams if the base gets too dirty/hazardous for their liking.

when kinga and blivian actually get free time away from preparing the show/fixing the many MANY structural problems with the gizmoplex, blivian likes to take kinga for a ride in her ship to see stuff around the cosmos! on the more mundane side of things, they also really like to cuddle while watching movies. blivian hopes that someday, kinga can show her what it's like on earth, because she thinks human culture is just so damn cool

dr. valentine likes to go to underground concerts with pyro, and the two of them have also been seen around toy stores and candy shops. (pyro collects cute or odd looking toys, and dr. val's still holding out for a reissue of that atomic energy lab she saw advertised years ago...) meanwhile, merasmus often invites them along to search for rare books and artifacts in sketchy-looking antique shops. they went out of town to a museum once when they had an exhibit on ancient civilizations. merasmus was very perturbed over the fact that she KNEW some of the information on mesopotamia was wrong, but his only source is that he was there, and people don't tend to believe that

erin and tracy like to go to parks with a walking trail when it's nice out and have lunch together there! tracy also has quite a sweet tooth (which is common among fairies), so they like trying different desserts at restaurants. erin loves creme brulee and tracy loves anything with strawberries

clef is a very impulsive person and candide is the type who tries to plan for everything. combined with the fact that candide is practically married to her work, planning dates can be a bit tough. they try to give each other a little leeway- candide was surprised to find she actually had fun axe throwing, and clef hadn't thought they'd enjoy watching historical docudramas that weren't about musicians. they also just like having dinner at home together <3 candide sucks at cooking but clef loves making stuff for her

scout without a doubt. im Not on tiktok so all i know about it from watching commentary youtubers talk about shit i dont care about in the background while i do other stuff, but he would absolutely get sucked into that weird NPC trend. I can see him watching it for hours, then deciding he'd be suuuuper popular if he did it. He does get super popular but its only because people make a game of getting him to break character which is super easy and happens constantly. he's constantly getting into fights with people and is only popular because he becomes this big punching bag laughing stock. Scout of course has no idea about this and thinks he's Finally Made It as an influencer until admin finds out he's been livestreaming from the base and has him shot live on stream and has all traces of his account scrubbed (though some people still got screen recordings) and it becomes this sort of internet true crime obsession for years.

I think Pyro downloaded it to play with filters and got sad when they didn't work on the gas mask. i could see them having a 'does it burn' type channel where the ending clip no matter what it started with or how small it was is always a massive inferno with their thumbs up in the corner and people go wild for it

I think medic would have fun doing tiktok dances and pretending to be a real doctor while telling people that actually *extremely dangerous health hazard* is not only completely safe but really good for you actually!! doing surgery on yourself is all a part of healthy curiosity and totally safe to remove your own heart for fun and profit!

i don't think any of the others would be on tiktok. heavy has a facebook but its all just minion memes and pictures of his guns and hasn't been updated in like 5 years. Spy and Sniper don't touch social media with a ten foot pole. Spy for spy reasons and sniper is a technologically inept hermit who has never had anything fancier than a nokia.

How long did it take you to get comfortable jumping?

Thats a very interesting question.

Ive been jumping for around 3 years and I've recently completed my ninth T6 and to be completely honest with you that uncertainty is still there. Even after all this time and all this progress it still feels at times like I'm only just starting. After a while of doing it though i think my attitudes changed? Like things still come up that really rock my foundation to its core and I have to deconstruct and reconstruct skills that I thought were solid. At the end of the day, if you're always seeking to grow and improve you will never be truly comfortable with the skills you currently have. Its easy to get caught up in the struggle and feel like you're never truly improving because Rocket Jump Mountain's peak seems to go up forever.

If I were to hazard to guess, you probably already are comfortable rocket jumping. Even in the tiniest way. Even if its just a pencil jump, or a simple strafe. There's some things that your hands already know, working on that core muscle memory comes with practice and it can sneak up on you if you lose the forest for the trees.

But if you want a solid number, for me? I'd say it took me about 6 months of hard practice to truly feel comfortable piloting my little guy around. But everyone learns at their own pace. I'm pretty old and tf2 was the first game I ever played that even had WASD as a control scheme. Some people pick things up much faster and some people take even longer than I have. Everyone is different and whether youre running, walking, or crawling, progress will happen as long as you keep moving forward c:

Small Request

To make sure I didn't draw the same two characters, I asked my friend for their favorites and they said heavy and pyro! I'll prolly try to come up with more sketches, but for now Ive realized that pyro is fun to draw!

So my tf2 bros for now will probably be seeing me the most, but I wanna get some more one piece out there, once I damn finish Punk Hazard that is >:(
