It's been a few weeks since you met that dashing skeleton, Stretch, at Grillby's. After taking a few days, you worked your hardest and finally managed to fix up that old barn. Now she looks good as new, and you..need to find something else to do.

You sit in your house, kicking your legs back and forth as you lie on your stomach on your couch. Some random show plays on the tv in front of it you recognize, but you're not really focusing on it since you're facing your left scrolling through your phone. Nothing really sticks out to you, searching for something of interest before you see a little notification pop down from someone. You miss it the first time, pulling down the top of your screen and realizing it's from Stretch.

You sit up abruptly on your knees, shifting to face the tv and letting your legs rest on the wood floor. It's always nice to see what he's up to.

You hop up from your seat on the couch, petting one of your dogs who'd decided to lie down in front of the couch and walking into your room to change.

"Okay, he..he lives on a ranch?? Well, I guess I should've gotten that from the cowboy getup, huh? I should probably wear somethin' I'm okay with gettin' dirty.." You browse through your closet, picking out some casual clothes that'll keep you cool and comfortable in the summer heat.

"Time to go." You walk out of your room, playing some music from the stereo in your living room and giving your dogs some pets before bidding them goodbye. You walk out to your truck and climb inside, turning the key and beginning to drive to the location you set your GPS to. A few familiar songs play while you make your way down several sets of roads. You promptly bop your head to them, lip syncing some of the words.

You knew you were at the right place the moment you saw it. The house was huge based on what you could see from the gate as you drove up to it, plenty of land surrounding it with fences up to keep any unwanted visitors out. You see a familiar shade of orange pop up as the skeleton opens the gate, walking over to your window and leaning his arms on it.

"howdy. glad you could make it, didn't get lost did you?" "Nope, got here a-okay. This place is massive- are you guys loaded or something?" You ask, flabbergasted. He chuckles at that, looking back at the house. "well, it just kinda happened when we exchanged monster currency for human currency. so I guess you could say we are." "Jesus." "you can go ahead and pull up wherever, it doesn't matter." He stands on the step just below your door, holding on. You smile at the action, driving further in and parking in a spot next to someone else's car.

He jumps down onto the ground and lets you get out, closing the door behind yourself and locking it before jumping down too.

You hear a faint "Hello!" in the distance as someone runs over, grinning wide. A skeleton, a pretty large one at that yet shorter than Stretch. His attire is pretty similar to the former, only his is buttoned up much more neatly and is blue rather than orange. Stretch's top button is currently loose, exposing a little bit of his sternum. You also notice how the two stick to one color scheme, Stretch sticking with orange and this one sticking to blue specifically.

"you're in luck, they just got here." "Yes, I'm Not Late! Hello, There! I'm Stretch's Brother, Blue. We Live Together Close To Some Of Our Friends." "It's nice to meet you, Blue. I'm.." You tell him your name, and the two of you chat about this and that before Stretch steals you away to show you around. You both walk around different parts of the ranch before you decide to go and visit the animals, saying hello to each of them promptly.

"You have so many horses-" "like. ten of them." "JESUS-" You pause, looking towards one, before turning back to him with a smile.

"..what?" He raises a brow, smiling as well with crossed arms as he observes you. "..Can we ride one?" "..you want to ride one?" "Yes- please-" "i mean, yeah, i don't see why not. though, we'd probably have to ride together. are you okay with that? if not, i can figure something out." "I'm okay with that. Won't bother me." "alright, just gimme a sec."

You wait patiently as he goes to get a proper saddle, walking over to a few horses and letting them smell your hands so they know to trust you. One in particular takes a liking to you, a black horse with a stripe of white from its muzzle to its forehead. It nuzzles its nose against the side of your head until Stretch returns, smiling as he walks over.

"somebody's attached. no, you can't bring the horse home with you." "Aww-" You fake pout, before smiling and gently petting its head. "but, you can come back to visit." "You bet I will." A determined look crosses your face. "you wanna ride this one?" He points with his thumb. "Yes- if they are okay with that, of course."

He nods, and after a few seconds the horse is saddled and ready to go.

"so, you're gonna have to sit in front of me. is that alright?" "Yeah, that's fine." "alright, cool."

He helps you get up onto the horse first. It's a bit of a strange sensation at first, but you gradually get used to it. He then climbs up and sits comfortably behind you and the saddle, gently taking hold of the reins. Feeling his arms around your waist has you feeling a bit flushed, your face heating up a bit as you hope he doesn't notice.

"comfortable?" He speaks calmly so as to not spook the horse, his head just above your shoulder. A shiver goes down your spine accompanied by an anxious smile. "Y- ..Yeah, I'm all good." You mutter, cursing yourself internally for stuttering as you hear him chuckle behind you. You don't realize at first when the horse starts to move before you snap out of a daze, looking ahead with a smile.

You feel..safe with his arms around you, even as you're very flushed. You can just blame it on the heat if he asks. What you don't know, however, is that he seems to be fairly flushed himself..a bright shade of orange lightly making its way over his cheekbones. He keeps his lazy smile as he looks over you, making sure you're alright and comfortable.

Blue has a cheeky grin as he watches you both ride around the field, leaning his arms on one of the fences.

His hold on your waist tightens a little when the horse picks up its speed, causing your face to heat up even more before that feeling is overcome by excitement. You cheer as it runs, carrying you both around.

This continues for a little while before both the two of you and the horse become tired. Stretch slides off and helps you jump down, guiding the horse back to where it can rest.

"That was fun! I wouldn't mind doing it again." "..maybe you can, next time you come over." "Yeah." You avert your eyes, your face admittedly still a little flushed. You can't fully bring yourself to meet his gaze until he reaches up to get some grass out of your hair.

"i wouldn't mind." He smirks, his eyes relaxed as he looks at you. You clear your throat. "Yeah, uh..looking forward to it." You smile in return as Blue walks over to greet you both.

"Why Don't You Guys Come Inside? I'd Love For You To Stay For Dinner. We Can Talk More!" He suggests with a friendly smile. You look over briefly at Stretch for a moment before turning back to him.

"Yeah, I'm cool with that. I'd better get home before dark, though. I've got dogs waiting at home for me." "you have dogs?" Stretch perks up, curious. "Yeah, two." "i wanna pet 'em-" "Well, maybe you can visit me next."

He grins as Blue guides you both inside, gently closing the door behind him.

1.  What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

Hmmmmm this is a hard one. Most ships I’m neutral about or would understand why people like them. Oh yeah! FR*NS! I guess this touches on number 4 too. I don’t understand why it’s so popular? Like, Frisk is a child and even if they weren’t I just don’t get it? No matter what route, it doesn’t seem like Sans particularly liked Frisk, especially that way. Even in pacifist, he threatens them in the restaurant. I just don’t get it. The only reason I could see people liking it is when you’re playing the game it feels like you are Frisk. And self-insert shipping is an okay thing. Just not uhhh Frisk and Sans. ^^’ I understand I can’t keep people from shipping it, but I’d rather not discuss or see it on the daily. Sorry for the rant. I also don’t understand f*ntcest.

13. Unpopular opinion about XXX character?

Oh oof I don’t know. I’ll go with Sans. I guess a current opinion is that there are way too many Sans-centric AUs. Which I can agree with, but I’m also happy to find them most times! An unpopular opinion is that I don’t like how many no mercy route based Sans AUs there are. I want more wholesome and fluff!

20.  What is the purest ship in the fandom?

I would say Soriel because I just ADORE pun buddies joking around and enjoying each other’s company! But people also make a lot of uhhhh innappropriate art of them. ;^; So I’ll say Nice Cream Guy and Burgerpants (Nicepants I think it’s called) because I’ve only seen wholesome so far!

Chapter 18-Take me to the place where you go, where nobody knows if it’s night or day

Sans glanced at his brother as they made their way to Undyne’s house.

“How’s that wound treatin’ ya?” He asked.

Papyrus looked down at his chest that had a small bandage on it, before looking back at the latter.

“IT IS ALRIGHT,” Papyrus riposter with honesty. “ALTHOUGH, I AM SORRY THAT I PASSED OUT WHILE STILL ON THE LINE.”

Sans chuckled softly, “It’s alright, bro, don’t worry ‘bout it.”

You’re okay, that’s all that matters.

Once the duo reached Undyne’s house, the fish monster opened the door when Sans’ fist was in mid-air, about to knock, startling both him and Papyrus.

Undyne looked stressed, which was a very rare mood to see her in.

When her eyes landed upon Papyrus, she leaned in for a quick and gentle hug, startling the taller skeleton even further.

Before he could return the embrace, however, Undyne quickly pulled away while blushing slightly.

“How’re ya feelin’, nerd?” She asked in the most upbeat tone she could manage in this situation.

“GOOD, THANK YOU, UNDYNE.” Papyrus smiled in return.

Undyne snorted, before pointing behind her. “The others are just inside. Come on in.”

Papyrus and Sans walked inside, Undyne shutting the door behind both of them.

They entered the kitchen to see Toriel and Alphys sitting there, each with cups of tea.

Noticing the duo, Alphys spoke.

“Th-Th-There you two are! P-Papyrus, h-how are you f-f-feeling?”

“BETTER.” Papyrus grinned, but it faltered after a minute. “I AM SO SORRY...THIS IS ALL MY FAULT...”

“Paps” Sans said warningly. “You couldn’t have known. Stop.”

“Sans is right,” Toriel agreed. “All that matters is both of you are safe.”

“Yeah, nerd, don’t be so hard on yourself. It’s not a big deal, as long as you’re okay.” Undyne chimed in.

Papyrus smiled once more, stronger this time, “NYEH...THANK YOU.”

“The question is,” Sans muttered, “How’re we gonna assure the same for the kid?”

Alphys’ face darkened. “I-I-I h-have b-been m-m-monitoring th-their progress....th-through cameras..”

“You watch the little dude through creepy cameras all over?” Undyne repeated, and Alphys reddened instantly.

“Th-Th-Their journey I-intrigued m-me l-like some k-kind of a-anime, alright??” She defended bashfully.

She sighed before continuing, “A-Anyway...I-I-I’m s-sorry t-to report...that he—no, she’s—already committed multiple m-m-murders. At l-l-least twenty so f-f-far...”

Everyone in the room gaped.

ANGER and DREAD filled Sans’ soul.

“Fuck...” he muttered under his breath.

“Oh my...” Toriel murmured, tears filling her eyes.

Papyrus whimpered, standing closer to Sans.

Undyne clenched her fists, “Damn it,” she growled. “But how do we stop this, Al??”

Alphys frowned deeply, taking her glasses off and dusting them off with her coat before placing them back on.

“F-F-From what I-I-I’ve noticed, Ch-Chara h-has g-g-gained f-full control o-of the sh-shared v-vessel b-between h-her a-and Fr-Frisk.”

“Which means?” Undyne urged impatiently.

“Wh-Wh-Which m-means, th-the ch-chances o-of Fr-Frisk r-regaining f-full c-control o-of the v-vessel, a-as of n-now, i-is v-very l-low to z-zero. H-Her D-DETERMINATION I-Is j-j-just t-too strong. St-Sronger th-than his. A-As m-much as I h-hate sa-saying I-It, th-the most w-we can d-do is w-wait, a-and hope Fr-Frisk f-finds a way to g-g-get the u-upper h-hand. I k-know n-none of you like I-It, b-but th-there’s n-nothing élse w-we can do. A-At th-this point, it’s b-between h-him and h-her. I-In f-f-fact, it’s a-always been.”

“Knowin’ Frisk,” Sans started, “He’s a smart kid. As reckless and overly self-sacrificing as he can be, one thing he ain’t is stupid. He’ll wait until the time is right. But cameras aren’t gonna be enough to watch them at this point. We need someone looking after him, following him. And I’ll be the one to do it.”

Papyrus threw him an apprehensive look. “BUT SANS...IT’S DANGEROUS.”

“Never stopped me before, did it?” Sans grinned, winking at him. “I’ll be fine, Paps. Don’t worry. You’ve gotten hurt enough. You stay behind with the others.”

Earth: rich but lonely. also stupid.

Currently planning out my fanfic/webcomic (haven't decided on format). Wanna critique some of my ideas?

So, first and foremost, this is going to be sequel to that old cartoon "Captain N: The Game Master," which, in itself, may as well have been a fanfic. I'm not the first to have this idea, by any means, but I do plan on standing out by referencing other fan-made sequels to the show. (I've already gotten permission to do so for most of them) Unlike previous "Champions of Videoland," (good luck finding a better name for the amalgamation of all video games) my main character will have the ability to access and utilize his predecessors' equipment and abilities. So far, here are some ideas I have planned out:

Videoland itself is just a small part of the entire realm of imagination. Movies, novels, anime, etc. all have their own respective worlds similar to Videoland.

Fanfics, unused/premature ideas, Sonic OCs, essentially anything fanmade are put into a type of void known as the Fandom Realm. (And yes, that is a decent pun. Bite me.)

I'm considering taking a jab at Chris-Chan by revealing that his "dimensional merge" bullcrap was actually him phasing in and out of the Fandom Realm, and "CWCville" is the part of the FR that he managed to conquer for himself.

Two notable antagonists my MC will have to face will be Asriel from Undertale, and Ceodore from Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. They both hate the MC, and justifiably so. (MC gave Asriel a soul filled with hatred and cruelty, and framed Ceodore for some heinous crime just to get on King Cecil's good side)

Kevin Keene (from the original cartoon) was never a good guy. He abused his power to convert Videoland into an oppressive regime, with Princess Lana ruling it all with an iron fist. The cartoon itself? Propaganda made by Kevin and Lana to keep Nintendo off their backs, the one company capable of usurping them, if needed. Nintendo still managed to find out what was going on, and assisted a small rebellion to the point where it became large enough to stop Lana once and for all, but Kevin is still at large, having fled to the real world.

Kuja from Final Fantasy IX would receive a redemption arc that may or may not involve being transformed into a Pokemon.

So, what do you think? I don't normally write fanfics, so progress on this is slow going. Still, I really want to put this out, and I feel like some feedback will help me with the world-building aspect of all this. Thanks in advance!
