Hunter and his girlfriend had stayed home at Camila’s while everyone else had gone out to watch a movie. Hunter, however, preferred to stay home to watch a movie. This way he wouldn’t be bothering anyone with his reactions of sudden excitement, fear, or random theories and predictions. (Y/N) didn’t mind any of this though; she loved hearing him.

The two decided to watch a movie together on the couch instead. They picked one out called the Megamind. The couple cuddled together on the couch as the movie played on.

Hunter and his friends had been in the Human Realm for several months. He enjoyed it there. At first, he was scared about what would happen next. Everything had happened to suddenly. He was horrified of the thought that his friend would find out if he was a Grimwalker. Things had gotten better, however, when he met (Y/N). He found her on one of the group’s outings to discover more about the human realm.

He looked down at her curled up form and pulled her closer. He remembered how time stopped when he saw her at the park. And then he saw her again at a store, then almost a dozen times everywhere, and then at the park again where Luz finally convinced him to talk to her; that was when it all started. Hunter had always been slightly awkward around others, especially since he never interacted with witches his age until he met Luz and her friends. Now, he had a human girlfriend! He never thought much about it, but sometimes he wondered what would happen once they found a way back into the Demon Realm.

After being about halfway through the movie, he noticed (Y/N) was getting a bit cuddlier. Hunter smiled to himself and he pulled her closer. After a few moments, (Y/N) broke the silence, “Um, H-hunter?” He turned to look down at her again. Her face had gained a deep blush and he smiled, “Yeah?” he asked sweetly. She hid her face in his arm. “D-do you w-want to m-make out with m-me?” she stammered shyly. Hunter blushed madly, “W-what?!” He squeaked, feeling the red burning in his ears. He had never kissed (Y/N) before. He already found that cuddling was a big jump- he hadn’t ever thought that she’d ask to make out!

Hunter’s face was a deep crimson, and he shuffled around shyly on the couch; she wanted to kiss him! He turned away nervously, feeling his heart race: he could hear it throbbing in his ears. He exhaled shyly and danced his fingers over his leg.

He finally stirred up the courage to speak again and looked at her, “A-are y-you s-sure, (Y/N)?” He asked shyly. He felt a knot in his throat: he had never had an intimate relationship with anyone. What was he going to do?

“Mhm,” she hummed. Hunter felt his heart skip a few dozen beats. His ears bent backwards and he bit his lip, Oh my Titan, what do I do?!

“Oh,” He murmured gently, feeling her nuzzle his arm. His mind was racing and so was his heart. Hunter looked away shyly and shifted around on the couch. He pulled his legs up and curled them around (Y/N). He had no idea where to start.

He shifted again, making (Y/N) sit up while he did so. He locked eyes with her for a split moment, but he hastily looked away again. After another few moments, he curled his hands into fists as if he was ready to face a fight, and let out a breath.

“O-ok!” Hunter said, smiling. He was excited, but more so nervous. He didn’t think he even understood the concept of a romantic relationship yet. “Really?!” (Y/N) exclaimed, jumping up with delight. Hunter nodded shyly, his ears bending back and turning red.

(Y/N) giggled happily and embraced Hunter, pecking his cheek as she did so. Hunter’s eyes widened and he blushed madly, his light skin darkening into a deep red. He wrapped his arms around (Y/N) slowly, nervously, pulling her closer to him.

She pulled away from the peck and smiled at him. Hunter felt his heart melt and his entire body relax. His gaze softened as he stared at (Y/N)’s deep pools of (e/c).

Hunter leaned down and pecked her lips lightly, feeling a sudden wave of nervousness and excitement wash over him. A blush ran ablaze across his face from ear to ear. He pulled back hastily and looked away shyly, and (Y/N) did the same.

“I-I’m sorry, (Y/N),” he squeaked bashfully, “um… I’m- I’m just nervous…” he hugged his arms nervously.

“It’s OK,” (Y/N) reassured him softly, “We don’t have to if you don’t want to, Hunter.”

He froze for a moment, feeling his heart sink as he realized. No one had ever offered him to not do something. He had always been demanded and expected to do as told. Hunter sighed; he wanted to. He wanted to do so much with (Y/N) but he was too nervous. He was surprised he had even been able to ask her to be his girlfriend.

“No, it’s-” He stammered nervously, “It’s n-not that I don’t want too…” He blushed madly, visible nervousness on his face. “I…” Hunter hesitated, then sighed, “I just… I don’t know how!” He finally confessed, locking eyes with her. His eyes were sad and full of worry. His ears had bent back in shame.

“Oh, Hunter,” (Y/N) soothed gently and placed her hand over his. “Don’t worry,” she said gently. “I… I-I can… show you…” She offered, blushing deeply. Hunter looked away for a moment, but looked back and nodded shyly. He almost looked like a sad puppy!

She smiled at him, “OK…” She exhaled, “Ready?” He smiled and nodded sheepishly. “OK, let’s try again.”

She pressed her lips against Hunter’s, closing her eyes. Hunter flinched slightly, and his pointed ears bent back again. He froze, feeling the warmth of (Y/N)’s lips against his. Slowly, he closed his eyes and melted into the kiss.

(Y/N) pulled away smiling at him; the two were a blushing mess. They began pecking each other randomly, shyly kissing each other’s faces and lips. Every time Hunter pecked (Y/N), she blushed a bit more, feeling a thousand butterflies fluttering throughout her body.

Hunter then sat again, and shifted himself towards (Y/N). He sat down, crossing his legs on the couch. Slowly he leaned towards her again and pecked her lightly. Hunter didn’t fully pull away, he stayed close enough to keep kissing her gently.

Finally, Hunter’s hands slowly went up to her, and he cupped each of her cheeks. He pulled her towards him, and he kissed her for a long time

Hunter pressed his lips against hers, almost as if he wanted to taste her. This was everything he never knew he wanted. He had never felt the warmth of someone else, he had never felt loved or wanted. All he had ever been was useful to Belos. Not anymore though; he didn’t care if he was useful anymore. Now he felt loved and he knew what he wanted: Hunter wanted to be with (Y/N).

He pulled her closer, deepening the kiss as he did so. Hunter began to feel the starvation take control of him, it was in every bit of his body. He didn’t understand what it was but he knew how to satisfy the intense hunger his heart felt: every time he pulled her closer a bit of the starvation lessened.

Hunter pulled her even closer to him. He kissed her amorously and (Y/N) kissed back. Suddenly, he felt (Y/N)’s hands curling around his wrists. Her gentle fingers wrapped around him and pulled him closer to her. Hunter melted again. His face was hot, his mind was racing, and his heart was both racing and melting.

(Y/N) then pressed her lips against his even more. She tilted her head and deepened the kiss. She wanted to get a taste of Hunter. She then bit his lip lightly and he froze for a moment in surprise. He had… liked it. It was like she wanted him close too.

Although they had kissed for a while, Hunter was still nervous about how to continue. Suddenly, he felt (Y/N) part her lip slightly. The warmth of her tongue surprised him yet also soothed him in way. Her tongue began to trace every bit of his mouth, and he followed. They kissed each other passionately as if desperately trying to remember one another.

The two finally pulled apart and were a blushing mess. Hunter looked over to see the credits playing on the TV screen, then he looked over to the front door. He swung his feet over the couch and stood up. He blushed lightly at the idea but continued anyway.

“C’mon,” He said, picking up (Y/N) bridal-style, “Let’s go somewhere more private.”

(Y/N) blushed madly but giggled, “H-Hunter!” She said smiling. (Y/N) hid her face in his chest as he carried her up the stairs and into the guest bedroom. Hunter laid her next to him on the bed and began pecking her face and kissing her softly again. Between the kisses Hunter would nuzzle her lightly making (Y/N) smile. She wrapped her arms around Hunter and kept him close to her.

Hunter kissed her passionately again and again. He slipped his hands under her shirt, feeling (Y/N)’s back as he did so; her skin was soft and warm. (Y/N) gasped suddenly, breaking the kiss and pulling away.

“H-Hunter!!” She squeaked, pulling her shoulders in slightly as if she was trying to hide. He laughed lightly to himself, looking at (Y/N) and pecking her cheeks. Hunter smiled, he had no idea how wonderful loving and being loved could feel.

Hunter started to cuddle her. He didn’t even know what he was doing. All he knew was that he wanted to feel close to her. He began to kiss her jawline and slowly make his way down her neck. Hunter nuzzled her lightly, wanting to hide away in her soft skin.

(Y/N) smiled shyly as Hunter went on. She gasped suddenly when she felt a little nip on her neck, and then another, and another…

“H… Hunter…” She stammered softly, “Sweetheart, what are you up to?” Hunter smiled for a moment, but stopped hastily.

“Oh uh…” His ears pulled back suddenly as fear took over his heart. Had he done something wrong? “I-I,” He blushed in shame, “I... I’m s-sorry (Y/N)...” He began to lift himself onto his side. “Did… did you… like that?” He felt his heart race unsteadily. Maybe Belos wasn’t the only one who didn’t want him anymore…

“Mhm,” She hummed gently. She pulled him back in even closer and Hunter felt himself melt. He melted anytime (Y/N) had made him feel wanted.

He smiled, kissing her passionately this time. “Well, I guess I’ll continue then.”

(Y/N) laughed, “Hunter! You’re so sweet!” Hunter smiled at her. He nuzzled her again and continued leaving little love bites all over her neck.

The two cuddled for a while. Suddenly, a thought broke Hunter out of the moment.

“Hey, uh, (Y/N),” he asked, his focus intently on nothing.

“Yeah?” She hummed.

“Ummm…” Hunter frowned slightly in thought, trying to think of a way he could ask. He knew (Y/N) well enough to know she was quite innocent and sweet. “How… uh… why, I guess, did you think of… making out?” He squeaked the last few words.

(Y/N) blushed, her eyes opened and she hid into Hunter. “Um… I accidentally… maybe… walked into Luz and Amity??” She replied nervously.

“Huh.” He said, pulling (Y/N) closer. “Good to know…”

He hid into her chest, “(Y/N)?” he nervously called her name.

She smiled. His voice and been soft and full of nervousness. She knew he needed comfort and spoke gently, “Yes, Dear?” He melted in her arms. Hunter bit his lip for a moment.

“I-I… I love you…”

She kissed his forehead gently, “I love you, Hunter.” He felt ease in his heart, and a sudden completion of his soul. This was what he had been starved from: (Y/N)’s love.

After a while of cuddling, the two finally heard everyone coming back. They made their way downstairs and towards the front door to greet them. Hunter, however, had something else in mind. He was quite flustered and ready to face it.

As everyone made their way into the house, Hunter looked for Luz and Amity. Everyone was talking about the movie they had watched and how great it was. Guz and Willow were visibly excited to have experienced a ‘Human Movie’.

Hunter finally spotted them. “LUZ! AMITY!” He called out to them sternly. The two girls froze and stared at him in silence.

“Um…” Luz broke the silence, “What is it?” She stared at him and (Y/N).

“(Y/N) told me she got a little idea from you too…” He glared at them with arms crossed. “She said you two were ‘making out’ in front of her… Care to explain?”

They both blushed madly, and Luz was the first to speak. “How much did you see?!” (Y/N) blushed again, looking away.

“Um… a… a bit…?” She murmured, unsure of what to say.

Hunter ran at the girls, “YOU TWO CORRUPTED HER!”

“AGH!” The two shouted in unison. Luz grabbed Amity’s hand and dragged her with her. They ran around the couch, into the kitchen, all over the first floor trying to escape Hunter.

“Niños! Calmense, por favor!" Camila begged them to stop and calm down. It was utterly useless. Hunter was determined to get them.

Everyone else laughed at them. (Y/N) watched Hunter and smiled to herself. If he was willing to protect her innocence, he was willing to protect her from any harm. She blushed lightly and laughed. This is gonna be a long night.

Long post, but abled people really need to hear this. This focuses on ablism. The TLDR is that people’s judgement of disability aid causes actual harm to those who need disability aids.

Please be kind to people who need any sort of mobility aid! Whenever we’re somewhere where we do a lot of walking, I have to constantly pester my partner to use his cane, or else she will simply suffer all fucking day.

I have become very perceptive to their signs of discomfort so I can ask “Hey, babe, do you want to grab your cane?” This usually happens multiple times before he actually retrieves his cane. That is if she ever pulls it out.

Sometimes the only thing that will convince them to use their cane is seeing someone else with a cane.

And before you assume that the days they don’t use his cane are simply “good days.” This is not true. He told me once after a long, fun day at a theme park that at the beginning of the day she was too embarrassed to use her cane, so he let herself suffer. That is until we had to sit down because waiting in a line caused her physical pain. I talked through their worries and slowly convinced them to use their cane. Told them that if anyone did anything judgmental because of her disability, I would fight for his honor (/hj).

I bring this up because so many people take disability aids lightly, or put so much unwanted attention on anyone who uses them. Especially if someone can, for example, walk without their aid but chooses to use it to manage pain (the case for my boyfriend). Even if it is needed, people still focus so much on that that it becomes the only important part of them. It is so embarrassing to use a disability aid in public, because it feels like people are staring at you and judging you.

It is possible to treat disability aids like a normal everyday occurrence, you know. Prescription glasses are, by definition, a disability aid. I need to wear my glasses to drive (by LAW). Reading without my glasses can give me headaches if I don’t give myself frequent breaks. I can’t even watch TV without my glasses. They are a disability aid. But nobody treats it like a tragedy, or stares at me, or points at my glasses, or tries to steal my glasses as a shitty prank, or tells me that I “don’t *really* need them.”

Treat canes like we treat glasses. Treat insulin patches like we treat glasses. Treat wheelchairs like we treat glasses. Treat AACs like we treat glasses. Treat noise-cancelling headphones like we treat glasses. Treat working dogs like we treat glasses. Treat crutches like we treat glasses. Treat hearing aids like we treat glasses.

Do not stare. Do not mock. Do not point. Disabled people are humans like the rest of you.

Be kind.

Edit: reblog and tag any disability focused blogs you know to spread the word. This shit is unfair and I am angry and I want everyone to know how to treat people like my boyfriend like, oh idunno, humans!

Cosmere: For Shallan huh absolutely everything <3 If there is one way I can summarize it all is that Stormlight is a series that deals with very human morality and is very sad that most people I see take Shallan's own perception of being "A terrible person who has done irredeemable stuff" at face value and run as if thats the intended takeaway and not "This woman is extremely traumatized to the point any mistake she makes her extremely anxious to the point she keeps digging her own holes deeper and deeper". Again head too full of thoughts and anger I am taking her away

Ace Attorney: For Maya is the people that treat her like an baby child LOL like YEA she is A Teenager she is immature and all but also she is someone who every single responsibility was put on since her mother's disappearance and sister leaving. I think is a perspective thing because she acts more carefree around Phoenix but that's because... that's the point. I think people usually diminish her input and role in Phoenix's life and narrative as a whole and she ends up just at the funny quirky girl that third-wheels the attorney yaoi

Ace Attorney: Lmao no main characters die here lol although I think they should have kept Phoenix in his Apollo Justice characterization and out of the spotlight. But like, this is an extremely lukewarm take lol One Piece: Again I don't want any of my wiwis to die </3 HOWEVER I do have the take that if someone has to die... it would be Luffy or Luffy AND Zoro. Idunno how to explain it but if just the captain dies it makes sense that the crew has to go on with their lives, but only Zoro dying feels... oddly asymmetrical? Idunno, it feels wrong and not even for any particular story reason it just does lol. If Luffy AND Zoro die it feels fitting because both their goals have an specific end point and it just so happens that end point is connected. Also heaven and hell symbology... The God and the King of the Underworld.... AGAIN I DON'T WANT THEM TO DIE and I really don't think they will but if it has to this is how I see it going down shrugs

hiii long time listener, first time caller!! my hot sparkletake is that despite the cast being pretty diverse in both gender and sexuality, basically everyone is just written to be pansexual when shipping in concerned.

i think caroline has been done the most dirty by this, considering she's a lesbian in a cast of almost entirely men/nb. her relationship with uni at least makes sense now that kneebs is open about her gender, but almost everyone else she's being shipped with (in canon at least doom and jay) are either amab or transmasc. and like, i know irl there's a lot of grey area for nb/transmasc in lesbian spaces, but it just feels like kits using that as a get-out-of-jail-free card instead of an exploration of any character's gender identity. like, for all intents and purposes, doom is written and depicted as a man, but as soon as kneeb decided he was agender caroline is all over him (and talking about his dick) despite kit changing literally nothing else about him. not to mention there's an identical transfem lesbian rodent who's been there the whole time....

and i know kitty says cometcare isn't canon, but i feel like she's allowing it's... overindulgence to influence canon (i know blah blah clogging the main blog is old news). we already got that christmas comic to retcon carroom as always being a thing, and i wonder if the same is going to happen with anyone else

i think ive brought up the agender doom thing before. as somebody whos........ within the sludge between agender n transfem but moreso agender leaning???????? i really dislike how dooms agender identity is completely disregarded until carroom is brought up. i feel like the kissmas comic wouldve worked better if caroline was like "I DONT WANT MY GIRLFRIEND DATING A SERIAL KILLER" instead of "I STARTED LIKING DOOM WAY BEFORE MY GIRLFRIEND DID" like Im Sorry What

as a darkmagic (doom x uni) truther id find it really cool if mood x caroline was a possible pairing too. theyd be twinning!!!!!!!! also i hope more characters genders get explored in the future of the comic or ATLEAST in cometcare if thats what kits prioritizing, as you said about letting the overindulgence influence canon.

speaking of indulgence & also related to doom, this is heavily unrelated but removing the parallel to mindless self indulgence (Brainless My Own Enjoyment) & any other problematic bands/artists/corporations (ex. wcdonalds or what have you) from the lore page list of group parodies whenever kit gets told to is annoying imo. not a major issue at all but id still like to point it out. either make up completely fictional groups or have the parodies in but criticize the originals/state you dont condone their actions, pretending they never existed gets on my nerves because. Bad Things Happen On Spinch as evident by idunno The Existence Of The Hospital? im not saying to Spinchify The Lead Singers Victim because thatd be insanely disrespectful but it shouldnt be that hard to just Let Bad People Exist On Spinch in a similar vein as cuddles or whatever, they dont even need to be acknowledged outside the parody page. Let The Rat Use Rateyourmusic And Have Icky Fave Bands

Okay, so now people are going from "The jedi never did anything wrong ever and are perfect and flawless and made zero mistakes and literally everything was Palpatine's fault even when there were moments he was clearly speed-chess-ing to account for the unexpected," a kinda dumb but not unreasonable take, to "Everything is Anakin's fault and he never had the potential to be better and we're just gonna ignore his slave upbringing and Palpatine's influence and just decide he was always the worst person alive and his redemption at the end-" (which I will admit was kinda small in comparison to his crimes, but also was still the centerpiece of the movies that are the centerpiece of the franchise) "-does not matter at all, fuck that guy, and also the Jedi are still 100% perfect btw". And I do not like that.

I really don't wanna get into the weeds here, but there's something about this that really doesn't sit right with me. I will happily call Kylo Ren a neo-nazi school shooter all day, because his awfulness was established and reinforced as his own choice, (no matter what RoS may retroactively claim) and while I could understand the argument for Palpatine being to blame for literally everything in the Prequels, (he is the big bad for a reason, after all) and I won't deny that Darth-youngling-slayer-Vader isn't even remotely close to innocent either; idunno, it still feels off.

There's just, this weird undercurrent of pushing the blame, or the idea the Jedi may have been even the teensiest tiniest bit less than perfect, or provided any ammunition for Palpatine to use against them, off to anyone and everyone else. And not only does it feel divorced from the actual subtext or even text of the Prequel Trilogy, the context of all the different factors that led to Anakin becoming Vader, (some of which he was responsible for, some of which he was not) or the ending of RotJ; but it also just feels increasingly bizarre outside of that. Like y'all are projecting onto the Jedi so hard that anything said against them feels like a personal attack, and the response is to refuse all responsibility on their behalf. And pardon the pun, but that feels very irresponsible when taking into account the political aspect of some of what the prequels were trying to say about complacence in the face of rising fascism.

I can sorta get why people would be like this, I have heard horror stories about Karen Traviss's Jedi-bashing nonsense, but this is going too far in the other direction at this point. I can also understand how RoS dropping the ball with TLJ's setup could aid in this, since I think TLJ's overall point that the Jedi are still good, but do severely need to evolve and change, was undercut by JJ's own blind worship. But that doesn't make the point any less valid at the end of the day, you're just missing it completely.

Someone tried explaining that the owl dude is poorly written because of so so so much shit that's utterly irrelevant to the show, his character, the story

It legit, reads like Republican Lore written by Republican Larpers.

You'd think eventually, it'd click, Oh! I see now! That's something I hadn't considered! Congratulations!!!!!!!?

But the deeper you go, the more you realize, man, ya'll have never been on a big project before, never written a story out, never brought it all together for one big project.

Like...I have 0 interest in the interconnectivity of Hell Politics in Helluva Boss. I Do Not Know Anyone that interested in such a thing for the show. But that was levied against the character and show and like...what? Are we watching the same thing?????

It's crazy town seeing people write OCs and be mad that the characters are not acting like their OCs. It turns out, that's someone else's character and they're doing what they want with it, the complexities of politics be damned, I don't think any creator was aiming for such on the show, when can that be added in? Because no where is the answer.

Idunno man, just weird seeing a story play out and people judge it at the halfway point with utter nonsense that's likely already considered, or was, and was put to the side because Again Nobody Is Interested in the owl dude's fuckin job. We saw like, 5 minutes of his past so far. His personality doesn't fit most of what the critiques are, and if they did, the fix would be infinitely more...

That's the word! Generic! Everyone wants this show to be PAINFULLY generic. Has to follow this writing rule, and this one, and this one, and this one, can't say fuck too much because ya'll grew up watching PG-13 disney films, even though not a single fucking one of those writing conventions in any way fits anything of the show, even though these are all things DONE TO DEATH on practically every other show, even though those are things MEANT FOR DIFFERENT SHOWS-

It doesn't matter.

What these people want is not a unique experience, they just want regurgitation. Go watch Marvel my dude's, go ahead and give critique of the complexities of politics there or some shit. Not the gay demon cartoon. I don't want the gay demon cartoon to be streamlined nor made for the largest audience. I do not want re-packaged stories, I have 0 interest in a show that does not loudly have it's own personality.

If ya don't like their loud personality, go elsewhere. Simple shit.

TBH, I don't understand why folks think writing bad characters means = endorsement of them? I don't think Penders is a genius but it's pretty obvious to anyone who has some form of literature literacy that his antagonistic characters are written that way because of the time and place they're in... like how are people gonna think some old patriarchal figure of monarchy is gonna act lmao. like sure they aren't entirely demonized (which is what people want, it seems) but everything is written in greys. besides, in the end sally does get what she wants and characters like elias are written lame as fuck. I do agree sally was written way too mid but I was never a fan of her character.. she never showed a human side to me.

I can't say for sure how Kenders feels about things, people put too much weight behind what a writer thinks. But even without "demonization" I feel like there's really no consequences for these figures in his stories, and people kinda just go along with it without questioning it much? Like, other than Sally going "whaaaa that's not fair!" in a fit of impotent rage. Seems a lil sussy-wussy, but I'll just chalk that up to bad writing. What I do know about Kenders' personal beliefs is that he's basically a typical boomer American liberal. Nothin all that impressive or heinous. And he ain't a transphobe, genuinely is supportive of trans folx, so that's nice at least. As far as him being some sort of mega misogynist, Idunno. All I know is his writing is sloppy and not great and "very boring" at worst and "so bad it's good" at best.

The thing with Sally is I like how she's written in SATAM. In Archie she seems just kinda... all over the place? She varies so wildly between the different writers. Like Michael Gallagher wrote her like an authoritarian bitchy girlfriend, Kenders wrote her like a whiny piece of cardboard, and so on. I like Sally, I like how she's a no nonsense field leader who was born into privilege but was forced out of it and just wants to be like everyone else anyway, I like how she can get kinda petty at times, how she gets overwhelmed and has self doubts but pulls through it, but shit does Archie never do her justice (or at least what I've read so far). I feel like Archie Sally focuses too much on the "princess" angle whereas SATAM downplayed it, and that's basically the big difference between the two, why one works and the other doesn't work as well.

But that's just the way I see it.
