That post @crusherthedoctor made about Sonic Twitter was so enlightening. People want SEGA to "Make Sonic Great Again" but they nitpick even the tiniest thing. They whine about pandering to the Classic fanbase when we had Modern Sonic (btw I dislike that term) for over twenty years. Classic!Blue Boi only really shows up in anniversary games + an entire game in Mania.

And as much as I want to see SA3 or an Adventure remake, I am so sick and tired of seeing entitled brats this way of Chris Thorndyke bothering SEGA about it and comparing every single game to Adventure formula and not on their own merits.

Sadly, it appears that Twitter (and YT) has had an influx of irritating fans who produce Strawman arguments and try to pick fights with those who dares to have an unpopular opinion.

Great news everyone! We have our first Twitter Main Character of the Year, Isabel Oakeshott! Come on down Isabel to collect your prize!

So! We can't accept our flab or else we'd be glorifying obesity. We can't wear exercise clothes THAT ACTUALLY FIT OUR BODIES? No we have to hide ourselves in the shadows of our own home, wearing the same gray&black ensemble and crying our eyes out in misery. We can't wear bright dare I say tacky clothes. No we have to stick with dull colors so we won't stand out. But we stand out anyways. We glorify obesity making cringe fat acceptance videos. But YET wearing clothes that allow us to move freely instead of constraint - that's also glorifying obesity. Do anyone see the logic in this?

I'm no supermodel, but I be damned if I have to wear the same old white tee and gray sweatpants. What if I want to wear lime green and bubblegum pink? Why should fat people settle for the most unflattering lifeless outfits?

Because that's what all we can do. Nothing will ever satisfy you. We have to pretend we don't exist so that you feel comfortable. That every little thing we do MUST be for political gain or corrupting the poor lil children! Not we want to improve ourselves or ads a little self confidence in our lives. Nope! We have to be the same lazy miserable bunch for the rest of our lives. No matter how much time and money we spend our efforts will be fruitless. People like you, Ms. Isabel, will always find a problem with us no matter how hard we try. And then don't even give us the means to try that's the funny part.

Thankfully Ms. Isabel, you given me the motivation to not only burn your for your hilarious take, but also the motivation to not only be more confident in my health this year, but also my sense of style. Because if me, and other fat people I'm sure, going around a bright tacky suit offends you, then I guess we're doing something right.

Nobody is insisting that he's white Jenny, we're calling out the plagiarism and the fact BiPOC artists already made their interpretations of Knuckles but aren't getting commissions and attention because some asshole decided to steal fan art. From a Japanese artist.

What actually happened is a white person stole an artist's hardwork claiming to fix it and now actual nonwhite sonic fans are going to catch heat for it. Because again all of this is just going to have people call us nonwhite sonic fans idiot SJWs, actual POC getting blamed for the whole damn thing because some asshole decided she should speak for all of us.
