Blog (re)Intro post

I'm 21 (turning 22). I use they/them pronouns and I'm relatively new in the fandom space (2024)!! But I love the way tumblr lets me scream into the void about these shows and sometimes the void will scream back.

I've officially made the move so that my main blog is she-ismysun! This blog will have many reblogs, live reactions of episodes, and general adoration for The Rookie and 9-1-1 charcaters. My blgo is not spoiler free.

bro i know im supposed to be a chenford/rookie fanpage but 9-1-1 has hooked me in and is NOT letting me go. I’ll go back to being unhinged about the rookie on Tuesday when we get our new episode. For now.. 9-1-1!!!

I love the storytelling in 9-1-1! I love the character explorations! I love the conflict and how a lot of it isn’t just annoying miscommunication (also rewatching greys at the same time). It’s messy as hell and compelling and it gets my creative juices FLOWING. I just finished Maddy’s arc with her ex husband and seeing her grow with Chimney is really making me appreciate their fan edits even more.

Speaking of, Chimney’s whole backstory episode knocked me out for the count. If i had Asian representation on screen like HIM growing up. Things would be so different.

I don’t think there’s been more than 3 episodes i watched so far that I didn’t cry in. I cried at least one every episode except 3. This has been such a fun watch and I don’t want to be experiencing it all alone!!

The best one was Kelly creating fake ig pages to fight with her haters online and somehow people having the time do doxx her by realizing the e-mails and cellphone numbers of these pages and her Twitter startet and finished with the same numbers and letters. Truly something to ask which side has the most time on their hands, her or her haters.

Mixing Super Wings and the Kpop universe in another Short AU that you will really like!

Note: some things I used in other AUs showed up here as some names.

YUM1E: A success on the rise

YUM1E is a Girlgroup formed by MAX1M Entertainment with the debut single "Dream World", bringing a concept full of imagination and fantasy, which even had a good reception by the public. But I still can't get into the rankings of Korean chats like Melom

The girl group YUM1E, which in a nutshell is described as authentic and unique as it has an concept fantasy and mystery, showing in each album released, something that the members love and share in common and they tend to make a lot of references to things they like and are fans of.

The group is formed by 8 members: (Lollo (Me): INFP 5w4, Sophie (my sister on AU): INFJ 6w5, Akira: INFJ: 5w6, Ivieh: ISFJ 9w1, Miah (Ivieh's Cousin): ISFJ 1w9, Brighie: ENTJ 2w3, Vicky: ESFP 8w7 Flora (Akira's sister): ISFP 4w5, Aria (Vicky's cousin): ENFP 7w8 and Cherie (Brighie's sister): ENTP 3w2) now having to fight for success, not knowing that the Super Wings they love so much and admit a lot are their fans or rather "DREAM1E" as their fandom is called.

Unfortunately they don't know that the Super Wings are their fans and unfortunately, the Fandom DREAM1E is very small, not only because they are Rookies (beginners) but because the CEO Choi Tae Ho boycotts the group because the group did not give him the profit to support the company, unlike Co-CEO Lee Jin Han who has hopes that the group can be a Globally successful girl group.

The aforementioned DREAM1ES would do whatever they could to prevent the CEO from disbanding YUM1E, from debunking fake controversies, anti-hater hashtags, supporting members in cancellations, purchase and promotion of albums, promotion of Fanmeeting and Fansign, creation of Fanpages and dissemination of the Schedule of Shows). Both were anonymous, but with the release of a very special album they revealed themselves.

Gần đây xuất hiện một story Insta được cho là của staff SM với nội dung là: "Bọn họ định cho ra mắt cái gì cơ? Tình trạng của mấy đứa lúc này... chỉ là con số không thôi. Chết cười khi nghe (SM nói) rằng sẽ có gì đó vào năm nay." Chỉ bởi tài khoản này follow các quản lý của SM mà dám đoán rằng nó là của nhân viên SM thì mình cho là chẳng có cơ sở gì sất. Thực tế là SM có rất nhiều thực tập sinh tài năng, ngoại hình cho đến kỹ năng từ đầu vào đã rất tốt rồi, có cả trainee đến từ học viện âm nhạc và từng qua đào tạo opera nữa cơ ạ. Ai quan tâm thì các bạn có thể search theo hashtag SM rookie bằng cả tiếng hàn và tiếng Anh. Thông tin, ảnh ọt, vid luyện tập lội mấy ngày không hết đâu ạ. Hòa chung không khí đợi chờ mòn mỏi, hóng hớt từng ngày cho màn debut của các cô gái thì mình xin phép up một số comment không top trong chính link trên pann đã lan truyền thông tin này. Đọc để thấy rằng SM đòi hỏi, tham vọng nhiều tới mức nào đối với nhóm nữ này. Và cũng để fankpop ở VN hiểu rằng thực ra dân trí bên Hàn chẳng thấp như cách các bạn vẫn nghĩ đâu. Ngay cả trong những bài viết bash xàm xí ác liệt nhất, nếu chịu khó lội các trang sau thì bạn vẫn sẽ thấy những comment hiểu chuyện, trích dẫn thông tin xác đáng,... This is a slightly more complicated situation than just social media because I acted as somewhat of an in-house graphic designer during my time working with this client as well… and managed a host of other things on the side… but I’ll start with social media. Essentially my client was running out of money and needed to compartmentalize, they cut my position and gave my duties to their fulltime operations manager. This was a little over a week ago. They have asked me to send over my materials… but I still haven’t been paid so I’m waiting for that to come through. For social media I was obviously managing and planning the posts, curating the account visually, writing copy, running promotions, doing hashtag research, etc. I also created graphic elements that contributed to the composition of the overall grid-view of the account. The operations manager has no visual sense, has botched a lot of the posts since I finished my job (partly due to my not having sent the content yet but they were also incredibly rookie mistakes that almost anyone could have sorted out on their own… in MS paint.) err tl;dr: jackie chan made a kpop group, got an obsessed fan, she went full out on all their social media and it fucked them over

they had an ok debut and got a pretty decent i-fanbase cause they were 5 members and one was aussie and another american…

a girl who’s harassed other rookie groups after making fanpages started a few fan pages for them… when they weren’t giving her recognition she made like… . hundreds of instagram accounts to harass their fans, the members, the members families, etc. esp towards one member cause he had responded to a fan mail of hers once and she thought they were totally friends //omfggggg!!!!//

she started spreading all these fake vids of the two english speaking members (well more specifically the aussie) making racist tweets (which had obv fake screencaps, other than a member flipping off a treadmill (lol i hate treadmills too treadmills suck)) and all sorts of defaming things and when jackie chan group threatened to sue her she used her infinite ig/twit accounts to mass report the jjcc pages for copyright infringement which got literally all their social media taken down other than yt and they had to restart everything

they had 1 comeback after shitshow and had added two members for it as a gimmick but it like… failed… bad… and now two members are on boys 101 in their mid twenties and of the oldest one noped out into china and he’s promoing there solo and another is in military service

anyways she would also harass fandom bloggers on tumblr who’d gif them.. and we found out she was from baltimore.... which was so... like dude bro dude dduuuudddeeee u don’t.... kno... them... at ... aaa.a.llllll omg??

Can I just get something off of my chest. Like it really upsets me that TS wants to do another world tour. When BAP should be focusing on advancing in Korea. BAP is a 5 year group but the Korean public has no idea who they are. TS just wants the quickest money out of them and does not put any thoughts into the members health or give them time to rest. I know we all want to see them but let the members promote a Full year in Korea. I hope TS cancels this tour. - A very upset Sinner Anon 😠

This tour would be good for BAP because LOE got them a lot more fans - non-Babyz who attended LOE all said that they became new fans because of BAP’s talent and music, and they were shocked that they had not stanned BAP earlier; but that’s really the biggest issue. Like you mentioned, TS does an absolute shitty ass job of promoting all of their groups, especially BAP (who tbh are really the main source of income since Secret hasn’t had a comeback and Sonamoo didn’t make as much of an impact as predicted in the girl group rush).

I was just telling my sister today how when BAP go on variety shows, the hosts ask them who they are and if they’re really idols and it’s just so frustrating. I mean, it’s true that BAP gained major popularity with 1004 but after the lawsuit they kind of became blacklisted in a way; it’s never really a good thing to sue your company, and it’s even worse when you end up returning to the same company you were trying to leave. Besides all this, BAP just finished LOE a few months ago, had the Noir comeback without Yongguk, participated in ISAC and headed straight after to Japan for Be.Act.Play (which ended literally 2 damn days ago), we haven’t had any update about Yongguk’s status or any album news that would even warrant a concert, AND BAP are supposed to be releasing a new single in Japan around the same time so they’re probably going to be doing promotions for it as well.

TS doesn’t understand that BAP is now considered a veteran group with a rookie status because of their bullshit. They don’t realize that BAP is a 5 year group or that they’re not well known or that they need time to rest or that they’re starting to treat BAP just as they did before the lawsuit, because all they care about is money. I truly have no idea what TS’ rationality is when it comes to comeback and promotions, but my guess is that they’re make more bank on international endeavors than domestic ones (because they don’t fucking promote BAP properly in Korea). If you look at the financial distributions of the company and the revenue they accrue from BAP, strategically-speaking the concert is an opportunity for TS to gain money and BAP to gain fans, but at the expense of BAP’s health. I don’t think TS would cancel this tour and it seems like even if Yongguk weren’t there it wouldn’t be an issue considering the other members are filling his role as best they can while still accounting for him.

But if I can get something off my chest??? I’m really upset about what I saw just a little while ago on instagram. A BAP fanpage said that Babyz are boycotting the tour by refusing to attend or promote the concerts at all, and to me that’s going to hurt BAP the most. I’m not sure how much BAP agreed to the tour, but chances are they didn’t initiate the idea of having another world tour so soon; if Babyz (aka the people who say they’re loyal to BAP and basically are BAP’s financial supporters) refuse to go, attendance will decrease and that means TS will lose money. In turn, this is going to affect BAP too. TS probably will spend even less on promotions and I don’t even want to think about BAP not getting paid or being treated just as badly as they were pre-lawsuit. It also just looks bad on us as a fandom, like other fandoms would sell their kidneys just to see their favorite groups live, but our fandom always “complains” (I mean, we do have a legit reason to be against the tour because we care about BAP’s health first, but I hope you see where I’m coming from with this).

I don’t know, Sinner Anon, this whole time period right now is just really unsettling and whether TS is going through with the tour or not, I don’t think they’re handling anything the right way. But who knows, maybe if Babyz CALMLY AND RATIONALLY contact TS about their worries, TS might take action. Let’s wait and see what BAP and TS say since they just announced the tour yesterday, maybe some updates will be given in the coming weeks.

José Alfredo Olivas Rojas nació en octubre de 1994 en Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, y desde muy chico siempre mostró un talento y un gusto indiscutible por los estilos de Banda, Norteño, Norteño-Banda y Mariachi. Un atentado que cambió su vida

El 28 de febrero de 2015, mientras cantaba la canción “Así es esto” durante una presentación que realizaba en Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, este cantante recibió seis disparos al inclinarse para tirar su chaqueta a una fan… ¡OMG!

Olivas sobrevivió, pero esta situación lo mantuvo alejado de los escenarios por al menos dos años, cuando publicó nuevamente un trabajo discográfico. Además, el nacimiento de su hija le cambió la vida totalmente y decidió dejar de escribir narco corridos para dedicarse a componer canciones de corte más romántico.

Client canceled contract - what do I hand over, and what do I withhold?

This is a slightly more complicated situation than just social media because I acted as somewhat of an in-house graphic designer during my time working with this client as well... and managed a host of other things on the side... but I'll start with social media. Essentially my client was running out of money and needed to compartmentalize, they cut my position and gave my duties to their fulltime operations manager. This was a little over a week ago. They have asked me to send over my materials... but I still haven't been paid so I'm waiting for that to come through. For social media I was obviously managing and planning the posts, curating the account visually, writing copy, running promotions, doing hashtag research, etc. I also created graphic elements that contributed to the composition of the overall grid-view of the account. The operations manager has no visual sense, has botched a lot of the posts since I finished my job (partly due to my not having sent the content yet but they were also incredibly rookie mistakes that almost anyone could have sorted out on their own... in MS paint.)
