i’m sure most ppl expected this so i’m not gonna make a big deal out of it but!! yes i am going on hiatus for an unspecified amount of time.

it’s honestly quite simple, i’ve just been losing interest in most aspects of kpop aside from the music, which makes writing for it a lot harder than before. i also dealt with a lot of burn out for months and still forced myself to write which only made it worse. lastly, i’m an executive of two clubs at my school this year on top of all my classes, so finding time to write would be even worse than it was before :’) !

Bella I honestly have no idea what kind of bait I'm using in the pond but the fish are biting a little more than they usually do this afternoon (lol).

So I have this headcannon that Miles's mom, Kathy Miller, was a nurse for a long time and that was how she had met Otis (because Otis had gotten an injury doing something really stupid with the other pit crew members on the racing circuit in the summer of 1941 and they've been married for 28+ years as a result).

Kathy joins her husband, son and daughter-in-law (reader) at the hotel and can't believe how well Miles is doing since having been overseas, even though every now and again he still has a few terrors here and there. The hotel is doing amazing, Otis is permanently stationed in California, Miles is married to the reader and Otis soon informs her that in a few days there's gonna be a new addition to the family (who in this case is Benny).

There's a drenching rainstorm at the hotel, Miles and wifey are asleep.......and then it happens. Wifey wakes up and for a second she's like, "wait....why are the sheets wet?" and then it hits her. She wakes up Miles, he's exhausted and groggy. Wifey's like "you ready to be a daddy?". Miles goes completely wide eyed and can't believe it.

He goes and grabs his mom and Kathy basically tells him that everybody's gonna have to stay put since the rain is bad and there's no way they'd be able to make it to the hospital in the next town over. Kathy runs her daughter in law a warm bath and Miles stays next to her the whole entire time, even through what is seemingly the worst. Wifey's like "baby I'm so sorry you have to see this", to which Miles answers with a laugh, "(y/n) I've seen people get blown up in the middle of a jungle and then limp back to camp with a missing arm or a leg......this doesn't phase me in the least."

It's not long before Benny is finally born and he is SO FRIGGIN TINY!!!! He's even got his daddy's full head of hair too!! Miles was terrified that he was born early but Kathy tells him he's perfectly fine and will probably hit a growth spurt when he's a year old.

As soon as all is said and done with wifey safe and back in bed with Miles next to her and Benny wrapped in his little blue baby blanket, wifey asks Miles if he wants to hold Benny. He's a little bit shaky, but once Benny is in his arms, his eyes open and he looks straight up at Miles, a quiet little "oh" catching in his throat as he gazes down at the life you two just created. A small cry comes out of Benny when he sneezes and Miles is half crying, half laughing as he holds his son against his chest, lying on his back next to wifey as the three of them are beginning to fall asleep. Kathy and Otis, unbeknownst to them, are peering in the door and look at each other with a look of "we did good and so did they" on their faces.

I am so sorry this is so long, there was alot to get through (lol)

AAWWWWWWWWWW!!!! MY BRAIN CANT FUNCTION THATS SO CUTE! (Idk if it’s bc in like partially hungover or the fact that I wanna have a family so bad)

I know we don’t really get to see Miles arms but he was in the army so he’s buff to a point so TIMY BENNY IN MILES ARMS, I’m screaming!!

I fully believe that for the next few weeks, you and Miles just break out in tears every once and a while because Benny is so small and perfect and you look at each other like “how the fuck did we make that?!”

You know Otis and Kathy are taking all of the polaroid pictures for the next few weeks. Photos of y’all sleeping together, baby’s first bath, a random picture of miles making a face at how bad a diaper was, and one of Kathy’s personal favorite. A photo of you and Miles napping on the couch with burp rags thrown over your shoulders.

ray as luke - okay there is no way in hell that im having rose be calebs ex, so we're just gonna say that ray and rose were in the circle sorta like robert and maryse were, ray was one of calebs right hands, realized he was messed up, they planned to leave, ray got turned, rose fled pregnant w/ the cup, they found each other again, raised julie and had carlos, everything was good up until you know when.

caleb as valentine - honestly who else would it be. sure its not exact, and i feel like he shouldnt be adoptive dad to luke cause that seems weird, but hes the kind to kidnap someone for what he wants. totally charismatic enough to have a cult following, basically already does.

The way she wrote Brock's life, her family and the struggle that is being a LGBTQ+ person in a conservative family it's amazing. The way they fight to make the relationship work and how Brock finally finds peace being himself? that's some inspiring shit right there

I Bet by @poppedthep I don't have WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS MASTERPIECE. it's literally our clown bible. Vanessa being her successful self and Brooke being too slow to realized how much he missed Vanjie? MASTERPIECE!!!

Lady in Red, by my wife @blhates. This is literally my comfort fic, my go-to one when I'm feeling down. It's extremely well written and I'm just always amazed by barista Vanessa and her unique personality. the way their relationship started, the story that named the bar, how it fits them perfectly.... your mind, wifey. your mind amazes me every single time.

Not Nineteen Forever, by @artificialortega. This was the first fic I ever read and it has such a special place in my heart. Ortega is beyond talented and this fic shows that. They ways she wrote their relationship, the ups and downs (more downs than ups let's say that 😂), the dynamic of their friendship group, all of it.

Nobody Knows Where We Might End Up by @plastiquetiaras. I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH WORDS TO TALK ABOUT THIS FIC, HONESTLY. VANESSA IS A CARDIO SURGEON, THE HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT!!!!! I cant with how she wrote the tension between them, how everyone in that fucking hospital knew something was up, EVERYTHING!!

For Your Safety by @youre-a-kite. incredible, that's what this fic is. The way Brooke goes out of her way to take care of Vanessa, to show that she's not alone and that she cares more than she can vocally say. I love how in love they are with each other, the way they finally opened to let someone see inside of them, how trey finally allowed themselves to be loved.

If You Ever Wanna Be In Love by @buffywhovianpotterlock. I was literally reading it yesterday and I just cant with how cute this is. I love how pure and genuine their relationship is. how it started only as a friendship and then they're spending time together and they can't stop thinking about each other, and how they just match. how they understand each other's emotions and how beautiful it is to read and witness their love blossoming.

Yuta felt himself grow cold, heart aching more with each word that left his lips.

“What are you saying?!” Yelled Mark finally, desperate and angry.

“I’m saying I don’t care about you anymore. I don’t really think I did, the lust all of its gone now.” Yuta shrugged cold and uncaring.

“How can you-HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!? All these years together! Just because of what happened?! We can still do this! The others support us! You can’t tell me you mean that! I’ll talk to our-“

“I don’t how else to say it but I don’t love you Mark. You bore me.”

Yuta cut him off before the younger boy could full rise from his seat on the couch. “I don’t want to keep pretending anymore. It’s exhausting and I’m truly over it...over you. I’m flying back to Japan tomorrow. I figured I should tell you since you’ll be paying the rent alone from now o-“

Marks fist colliding with his jaw shut him up. The stinging pain in his ass almost as surprising as the look of shock and anger on Marks cherub cheeks.

“I-“ But Mark had no words for what he had just done. Sure Yuta was being a jerk, breaking his heart and a million promises along the way. But violence was not excusable. Tears filling his eyes, he watched as Yuta picked himself wiping his split lip with the back of his hand, a mirthless laugh echoing in the room.

“Well if that’s all. Guess I’ll see you sometime.” Climbing to his feet Yuta turned away before Mark could see the tears beading the corners of his eyes.

“Yu...You cant mean this!” Marks voice shook and cracked as he leapt forward grabbing desperately at Yutas leather jacket, the same one Mark had gotten him for their anniversary the year before. “Yuta come on! Please it doesn’t have to be like this! We can still-“

But Yuta shook him off with a yank of his arm, looking back over his shoulder at him with cold disgust. Before wordlessly slipping from their shared townhouse and out into the rainy night. Clambering into his packed car and pulling away ignoring the figure dashing through the wet streets behind him until it faltered and faded away.

It wasn’t until he pulled up to the hotel he’d be crashing in that night did Yuta finally breakdown.

“I’m so sorry Mark! I’m so sorry!” The premium leather of the steering wheel quickly becoming soaked with his tears. His anguished cries falling and rising with his pain. Repeating the reasons for this to himself over and over.

“They know you’re gay.” His managers words echoing in his head.

“I never said-“

“They found one of your videos with Mark. They recognized your face, but if we don’t stop this here, even without Marks face it’ll only be a matter of time before the realize its him as well. His career will be over, nct, superm, becoming ceo, all of it.”

Yuta remembered how he’d choked. How he’d asked if his careers end had already been determined then, and how his manager had reminded him of Asia’s views of “gays”.

At first he had tried to fight it, fight them. But after hearing the managers words, their plans to terminate not only his own contract, but marks as well, maybe even secretly shelve and shut down nct...he gave in. He told his manager he would leave quietly, they agreed to put out an apology, one which would state the person with him had been a friend back in japan. Marks dreams would be saved, and that was all Yuta could be grateful for. It was he who had taken the videos, he who had let them be leaked with misscare. It was only right that he fixed things, especially for the one man he loved above all else...even himself.

It had been five days since then, but that time had done nothing to prepare him, to make this all okay. Laying there in his bed, the soup his mother had brought into his room long since cold, wrapped around the pillow he had taken with him. The very last of Marks scent fading from its soft cotton case, as Marks angry broken voice filled the room as he left yet another voicemail for Yuta filling up the last spot in his mailbox.

Impossible to pick. but, She is so endlessly full of love, and one of the most generous people I've ever known -and doesn't judge me for being slightly more logic based about affection 😂 she's a part of my family (Mika my sister and friend i miss you but I'm so proud of you everyday. you're making this life what you want. )

@kpophours - Compassion and thirst for knowledge. Anna is one of the most emotionally intelligent people I've ever met. she's level headed and we have the same sense of humor! Anna is the person I can have a conversation about almsot any topic and she either knows, or has a thirst to know about it.(Plus your plant updates are actually life giving)

@kihyukhei - Strength of character. (dont clown me until i explain, Inès) Inès is so resolute and unwavering. she has an unshakable sense of self that floors me. She not only knows who she is, and what she wants, but she has no interest in wasting her time on less worthy pursuits. (Plus my fav person to gush about all of Wayv to, and wifey 💍)
