Aquarius season!

New Moon...

in Aquarius? Capricorn?? Not entirely sure, to be honest! All my sidereal Astro girlies staring at this post like YES BITCH, IT’S CAPRICORN 😆 But I’ve said it before & I'll say it again, I’m not an astrologer, I read energy & right now it feels a bit like both.

That being said, let's get into it!

This feels like a very cold new moon for lack of a better word & I really don’t want to say that because it has a negative connotation but that’s what it feels like! Everyone & everything has been a little annoying lately but w/mercury finally going direct & all other planets soon to follow as well, we are starting to feel the energetic shift. Kinda chilly, kinda calculated, very Capricorn energy. Like how is this going to affect me, how can I devise a game plan successfully?

This is the 1st new moon of 2023 so we wanna start it off on the right foot! However, it also feels very detached, very psychic-ly connected & authentic (very Aquarian), so keep your antenna tuned for those bursts of inspiration aka downloads. These are messages you’re receiving for a reason so don’t ignore them!

It’s like shaking the cobwebs out, throwing the windows open, letting in that fresh, crisp air & feeling rejuvenated. There’s a lot of Aquarian energy this year (Pluto enters Aquarius at the end of March) & we are going to see it reflected in every aspect of our lives: Ai, tech, finance, health, art, education, community, etc (I was actually going to go off on this tangent but I think that deserves its own post 😅).

Time will seem to speed up in the next few months so aim high when setting those goals & be honest with yourself! This is probably the most important thing. Tap into that true Aquarian energy & step into your weirdest, truest self. Be honest w/what you want & what your goals are. This is your life, you don’t want to waste it with could haves/should haves/would haves. The time is now! Utilize it!

Monday E hënë Moon-Day • Who’s bright idea was it to start the work week on Monday, aka MOON-day? I have no idea, but I’m willing to bet a lot of money it was a man 🤣 • Of course, you could say it’s not that deep, this is just a day of the week, but each day carries specific energy with it. Each day is named after a specific entity or planet that carries specific energy and power with it. Hence, MONDAY – MOON DAY - e hënë • Mondays are not for seizing the day aggressively and getting shit done. Mondays are for starting slowly; an intuitive and meditative day. I think this is one of the reasons why so many people struggle to start the work week on Mondays; our bodies intuitively feel that these actions are not in alignment with the day (that and of course capitalistic exhaustion). • So if you’re feeling like you just can't get in the right head space and get on that “Monday grind,” it’s not just you. Try to take it easy. You can still be productive on Mondays, just in a more passive way. Plan rather than execute. If you usually feel sluggish or moody, keep that in mind when scheduling meetings or if you have to interact with others. And of course, try to get a good night’s sleep Sunday evening and stay hydrated! EDIT: It took me almost 10 minutes to post this because ig was acting up, when I say this is a CHAOTIC TRANSIT, I MEAN IT 😅

January felt like it was 6 months long, and February is moving at warp speed. This feels like a true beginning, January did not.

•

February may be a short month, but it is jam-packed with astrological movement! We have multiple planets entering Aquarius in the next week, joining others that have already been stationed there. This energy may feel chaotic, but my advice is to go with the flow.

If you are being pushed into new challenges, meet them head-on. Take that nervous, anxious energy and use it! You never know where these unexpected paths may lead, it could be a new opportunity!

•

This doesn’t feel like much of a manifesting time, more like a time to follow the path you are being led on. As scary and difficult as it may be to rethink certain plans, you may have to. Try to do it with an open mind and accept the changes. You’re heading in the right direction, even if you don’t think you are.

Full Moon in Cancer!

We started 2023 with a Cancer Full Moon (Jan 6th) & we are ending the year with a Cancer Full Moon (Dec 26th).

Get ready to feel all the feels, or if you’re like me, you’ve already been DEEP in them for at least 2 days now, & try not to be reactive from them.

This is a time of heavy emotional release (hello Cancer), as well as revisiting the past (mercury rx). That’s all well & good, as long as we don’t get caught up in these dated themes & emotions. Feel the feels, go through them, process the emotions, you can even study the past, but don’t get mired in it.

Use this time as a reflective, purging period, in order to start the upcoming year with a clean slate & a fresh mind.

Cancer New Moon!

Leo Season!

Venus Retrograde!

Damn, it’s been a while. I feel like I say that every time I post but I have not been very active on social media, so I suppose it’s true.

How is everyone feeling? Weepy? Revolutionary? Caught in the wind? Because, honestly, same boo, SAME!

We are coming out of a particularly strong New Moon in Cancer and heading straight into Leo Season, North Node in Aries and Venus Retrograde in Leo… that is a LOT of fire, and fire in very impactful areas of our lives.

I love my Leos, almost as much as they love themselves, and no hate to my Cancerian peeps, but I already have too much water in my chart (hello, Scorpio stellium), so I always look forward to this particular zodiac seasonal change. I think Leo popularity, or at least their reputation, is built on two parts: their ability to be their own best hype-men and the fact that they are “fun” fire signs.

Leos tend to take charge even when they’re not outwardly doing so. Let’s be real, have you ever met a Leo that didn’t do exactly what they wanted to, regardless of what anyone else said? If you have any doubt, believe me, one of my kids is a little lion and I am EXHAUSTED.

That being said, this upcoming Leo season is going to give us all a much-needed boost and revitalize any stagnant energy. Combine that with the Nodes shifting, as well as Venus going retrograde in Leo and we have a 1 2 3 punch of pure fire.

No, your ex is not going to call you (unless that really is a relationship that needs to be revisited, but more on that in a sec), no, your computer isn’t going to go haywire. Not all retrogrades are “bad,” and not all retrogrades are the same. Yes, communication does get a little funky when Mercury goes rx but that’s to be expected, since Mercury rules communication, ideas, Gemini, and Virgo (think Swords or Spades). Venus, however, does not.

Venus is relationships, not just the romantic kind, sensory pleasures, matters of the heart, Libra and Taurus. So, you may find yourself feeling extra cute or spending a little too much during a Venus rx, and this particular transit is no different. Take it from someone who just chopped off all their hair (or at least 12” of it) and cut someone out of their life.

SNIP SNIP is the overriding theme, and that’s not just in ref to the hairdresser’s scissors! If someone is holding you back, not helping you grow, unhealthy or toxic, you will find yourself cutting them out of your life, or at least the urge to do so will be STRONG.

I’m not saying you should completely change your aesthetic and start blocking people, but if the temptation to do so arises, take a moment to ask yourself why, and go from there. I strongly caution against being impulsive, because in my experience it leads to trouble, but I also urge people to listen to their gut. North Node symbolizes our destiny, personal growth, where we look to access the tools to help ourselves achieve our goals in this lifetime. So, if all of a sudden you feel the need to end a particular relationship (again, not just romantic), ask yourself why, and analyze it. Has this partnership been bringing you down? Have you felt increasingly stagnant? Unhappy? Do you feel as if you’ve lost yourself? Alternatively, this transit can also serve as a beacon that shines on positive relationships and help strengthen them. Have you and your significant other braved choppy waters and come out the better for it? Have you completely changed up your style and felt revitalized and reborn? Do you all of a sudden know what your life’s mission is? FANTASTIC!! Embrace it and enjoy!

Think of this past Cancer season as The Hanged Man, and now we are the Death card; first suspended in meditation, and now abruptly cut down from the tree and making the necessary changes to better ourselves.
