Nothing like moving and slowly, and finally being able to unpack and set up shelves again... my very incomplete @veschwab shelf. One or two might be packed away, but I'm still short in owning a couple of then. Makes my heart sad, truly. Hopefully once work picks up I'll be able to complete the collection. I love this woman and her books. I've had the pleasure of meeting her in person and shes delightful. Can you say author crush? Hehe! - - I got in the game a little late as far as her books go. I wound up discovering her through This Savage Song. The book, the world, the characters... Especially August, they've never left me. I got a hold of The Archived next. I couldnt understand why there wasnt more hype behind it (then). TV-show / Movie; if you had to choose your favorite book to be adapted which would you choose? 📺🎥 __ For me it’s always going to be TV-shows. @veschwab is one of my new favorite authors. I started with her Monsters of Verity series in the fall and moved right into her Shades of Magic series soon after. Now, I’m halfway through her Archived series and it’s a huge bummer the final book won’t be published until 2020. 📖 When I think about the way I connect with authors, it’s a bit weird. I have trust issues with authors, I won’t just read anything. The books I choose, for me at least, I see it as entering into an agreement with the author where I am willingly entering a part of their imagination and they willingly enter into mine.
