also when i gave my nephew his laptop yesterday, for his birthday, i mistakenly thought he would be interested in all the things i had set up for him to use, like google docs, steam, an email, but what he was actually most interested in was changing the desktop background IMMEDIATELY to a picture of Tupac. So we did that. I am always surprised when he mentions liking Tupac, because I'm pretty sure Tupac died before he was born, but of course the music's still out there and I listen to dead people too. And when i told my stepdad about it, he asked, "Who's Tupac?" and i just told him, "a rapper", which isn't nearly enough to define Tupac, but how do you just Explain Tupac to a guy who has never heard of him?

generally i agree with the sentiment of "if you don't like the canon version of a character then you just don't like the character" but when i take bland soulless unwilling to take any risks perfectly made up hair blow dried and styled airbrushed smooth character designs and make them less conventionally attractive and more weird and offputting in both personality and looks that's not me being a hater that's me doing them a favor

I haven’t watched Dungeon Meshi, but I always enjoy the dashboard osmosis experience and have a peculiar visual memory. Here is what I believe Dungeon Meshi to be mostly about. No complicating experiences with the text, or indeed character references, fed into this extremely clear vision, which I believe I torrented directly from the astral plane at the same time as the creator was logged on

How do you draw so frequently???

I'm starting to think I probably have some passive ADHD so I end up always admiring ppl who can just constantly do stuff, it's like a dream, your art is also like a dream, Vasco is also a sweet dream, I really like Vasco, he looks really sweet

I set aside a little bit of time every evening just to draw, it's become almost like a wind down routine for me. It helps if I don't treat it as serious 100% effort hard mode art time, I usually multitask a little on the side, watch a movie or take breaks to do little chores around the house and art just sort of happens if it happens. Lately I've been making mostly personal low pressure feel-good pieces.

Idk if I've said this before but I feel like the bi to aro/ace pipeline wouldn't be half as common as it is if asexuality and aromanticism weren't forgotten all the time when it comes to discussing sexuality.
