NOX plays Animal Crossing
Pairing: NOX & Chief
"Chief, this is...?"
"A Nintendo Switch Lite." The Chief handed NOX a peculiar-looking device and a colourful plastic case. "And this is a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. One of the therapists suggested letting you play this so that you can learn more about human society."
"... Ok," NOX answered flatly as she twisted the game console this way and that, "how do I use this?"
The Chief, who had to be taught beforehand by said therapist herself, imparted her newfound knowledge to the Sinner of death. "So see here..."

"Chief, these people... Do not require saving?" NOX enquired, confused, after one hour of gameplay. She had met several new characters—her villagers, Tom Nook, Timmy and Tommy—and set up her town hall. She was saddled with a huge debt by the crafty raccoon merchant (though she had yet to grasp the concept of money at this point), and harvested her first materials. However, she found out that unlike the other games she had played, her "attacks" appeared to have no effect on any of the characters.
"They don't, NOX," the Chief explained patiently, "it's wrong to kill people."
"Then why do people still kill one another?" NOX returned to her game. She had just popped a passing balloon.
"I'd like to know too," the Chief mumbled under her breath.

"Chief... Can I kill Tom Nook?" NOX made an uncharacteristic grumble, which elicited a chuckle from the Chief.
"Why?" She asked between breaths.
"Because... Because he is bad. Why must I pay him so much bells?"
"Well, he gave you that island, didn't he?"
"Yes."
"And he upgraded your home, didn't he?"
"Yes..."
"All of those cost money... Bells," the Chief reasoned, "everything in real life has to be paid with money too."
NOX only sighed in response.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Chief... I live forever in this game?" NOX's question was indecipherable.
"What do you mean?" The Chief asked.
"I... I do not save anyone in this game, yet I am still alive..." Her pale eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Well, isn't that good, NOX?"
"... Yes, it's wonderful, Chief."
NOX's unusual reply reminded the MBCC leader of the beautiful soul the Grim Reaper Sinner once had.

Emergency Report:
The Chief of MBCC has ordered to suspend video game therapy for S-Class Sinner NOX, due to apparent loss of vital signs. As the Sinner remained in a coma, the medical department has suggested for living things, such as vegetation and small animals, to be kept in the Sinner's cell until she awakens, as it was expected for her ability to steal the life of others for her own longevity. The Chief of MBCC has approved the use of vegetation to revive Sinner NOX. Approval for the use of small animals is still pending. Other than the Chief of MBCC, all staff members should stay clear of Sinner NOX's cell.
Update: Although the rate of recovery was slower than expected due to the pending approval, Sinner NOX has begun to show signs of life. All staff (excluding the Chief of MBCC) should continue staying clear of her cell until further notice.
