I am feeling so ill today. I'm exhausted, feverish, sick to my stomach, full on body aches, and bloat. I can't put on even the comfiest clothes I own because of the pain of the allodynia causes; feeling the fabric on my skin feels like someone rubbing sandpaper across a bad sunburn. All of this means that I have to miss a party with some wonderful people tonight that I have been looking forward to for weeks. Sometimes, it's hard not to feel like I've missed out on a lot because of my illness. I have even had multiple people tell me that they couldn't be in a relationship or they couldn't deal with being my friend because of my disabilities. I wish there was more that I could do, more that my doctors could do to help me live with this. It's been testing me, really really testing me. ⚡️My strength, my patience, my hope, my pain tolerance, my EVERYTHING. I am hoping I am finally coming out on the other side. ☀️ But, we'll see. I wanted to apologize to you all on here and to everyone in my personal life for being tough to deal with. I know I don't NEED to apologize because I'm lucky that you all GET IT... but, it's not easy putting up with someone living with chronic pain. The constant upset, frustration, whining, etc can get annoying. 🤦🏻‍♀️After endless appointments, tests, scans, MRI's, new meds and injections, I think tomorrow will be MY DAY. And if it's not... I'm going to MAKE IT MY DAY. 💖So, to all of you having a rough time with WHATEVER you are battling, I AM SORRY. I understand. I'm with you. You have a friend in me and a shoulder to lean on whenever you need it. I made the mistake of hiding the last few days and it did not do me well. If you are up for it, let it out and let it go. I don't understand why y'all hate masks so much, it makes me look like a ninja. Rad. . Also, you only half to do half of your makeup, you don't have to smile at people, and you breathe in less of the germ infested air around you. Sure, it's not a magic shield. But if you told me to go battle a dragon and asked if i wanted 50% of a shield or 0% of a shield, I know imma pick the option where there's more than 0% percent protection. Lol. And, I can mumble cuss words under my breath at people and no one even knows. Rad. ;) . Anyway. Went to the dr today. This is my 3rd visit with this new primary care I was assigned, they gave me going once a month, since I'd been neglected at that clinic forever, and have a ton of issues on fire. She's OK, but not great. Got the longest list of labs I've had in forever. Approval for the MRI of my spine to see if that gives clues to some weird nerve stuff and why my legs don't always do as they're told. They are not so rad. . And - a new one for me - ultrasound of my left leg, at the vascular clinic. A clinic in town i haven't been to, and a type of imaging I haven't had before. Wow. Something new to mark off of my medical bucket list, I guess, lol. This doesn't happen often. But the calf, mostly, it's been HURTING. A different pain than any I've ever had. Sometimes legit really bad, making it hard to walk? Really weird. Dr wants to make sure no blood clots gonna blow up, and check blood flow. Anyone ever have this, and can tell me more? I'm sure it's similar to other ultrasounds, just curious what all it could find in there? Weird. Always weird with me tho.
