My darling riddled-with-anxiety star wars oc, Bril <3 can’t believe I’ve been in the star wars hellhole for ten years and never made a character

Boba: I’m the same, but cooler. I do drugs now.
Fennec: He did drugs once and the force led him to a tree.
Boba: It was an awesome tree. I saw the ghost of my Buir and Ba’Buir and they laughed at me and I think I’m force sensitive now but I’m afraid to find out.
Sabine: *is a little shit* Huh. I think we should go talk to my master about this, I’m sure she can help :)
Ahsoka: *standing stock still in the middle of Luke’s new school while the twins look at her funny* I feel this odd sense of impending doom. My padawan is doing something she shouldn’t be :(

So while I understand that the intent of the writing in Clone Wars was not to showcase that Anakin regularly gets his men killed because he forgets their physical limitations, the way he is written in the show does actually manage to send that message.
I can list two intentionally written moments where Anakin is shown forgetting his own troopers' physical limitations, one of which does actively get them killed, and one unintentional moment where he is shown putting his men in a situation where he is automatically going to be better off than any of them and several of them die during the execution of his plan.
So this is one of those moments where, while I understand that the INTENT was not to show Anakin as incompetent enough as a General to regularly get his men killed, the actual impact of the writing is that Anakin has a pattern of behavior where he forgets his own men's physical limitations enough to get them killed, a trait not given to a single other Jedi aside from Ahsoka. And when it happens to Ahsoka, she spends the entire episode having to pay for that mistake and then we never see her do it again.
Therefore my personal headcanon is that while Anakin does, sort-of, care about and respect his men and their lives, he's the only Jedi incompetent enough to get his men killed by simply forgetting their limitations, even over two years into working with them.

Decided my fav type of au is ‘hey what if this character became a Mandalorian?’
Anyway, the Jedi didn’t make it to Bandomeer in time, and a mix of self lead slave revolt and a Mando attack causes Obi-wan to be free. The mando leading the squadron against the slavers immediately sees Obi-wan and goes ‘oh. New son!’
Obi-wan is a little bitter towards the Jedi Order, both for basically kicking him out, for putting him in the situation of slavery, and for not finding him, and goes with the Mandalorians, bc this way he can help (unlike the farming in the agricorps)
He gets adopted by that mando, and his new family (His mom Hive, his dad Mansoor, and big sister N’ala) are part of a long line of Protecters called Cabur B’kih, a subgroup that works to fight for and train others throughout the Outer Rim. Obi-Wan’s family in particular help with training animals as allies within battles, hence the bird of prey (my version of a galaar) as their clan symbol.
Anyway Obi-wan follows in his family’s footsteps and becomes another Protecter, helping to bring freedom to the galaxy, and his main weapons are beskad.

Summary:
Twitch isn’t some tactical genius like Fives or Rex, or even a medical genius. He’s a medic, and a decent one, but trying to imagine what could possibly have happened just sends his head spinning every time.
All he knows is there’s a sinking feeling in his stomach like he’s eaten something rotten.

8-Ball doesn't like the origins of his name all that much.
It was something his batchmates started calling him whenever one of his gut feelings turned out to be right.
A nod to a silly toy that one of the trainers kept on them as some kind of stress relief. Because there's nothing better to do when you're stressed, than to ask empty questions to the galaxy while shaking some black orb that gave you vague answers, right?
His brothers and sister insisted that he could give them answers in the same way (sans getting shaken about like a toy).
He was just that good at "guessing" the future, they'd say... Only that's not true at all. He's not good at guessing the future, he just gets these feelings about how the day is going to go that (more often than not) turn out to be right.
8-Ball is not a soothsayer and he thinks that anyone who thinks he is, must be a degree of crazy or weirdly superstitious.
Only the Jedi can predict the future. Not little old him who's just here to disarm the bombs! Having good foresight and instincts is a good trait to have when you're in this sort of field...
He can't be able to predict the future... Otherwise that feeling he got when he last hugged Incognito would be right, and he might never ever see his baby brother ever again...

Kay SO
I will admit, I was woefully disappointed with that finale, and it gave me close to a bad taste as the Sequel Trilogy, but not quite.
Sometimes as a shipper, you can never always get what you want, and realize that if you're too deep into your OTP, you will ignore reality at your peril and cause a lot of damage to yourself and others.
This episode had its positives which wanted me to tear up, but at the same time, there are some negatives I can't ignore.
This ain't the end though. Now we must steel ourselves and wait for Season 2!
