one thing that i think idw sonic does really well that i never really see people point out is having more variety in outfit styles/color palettes for the girl characters. to be clear i dont think the designs of the game characters are bad by any means i really like them the way they are . but also it feels like sega is terrified of designing a girl character who doesnt have pink or purple as a major color in her palette and doesnt wear skirts or dresses or heels or anything like that while the guys' designs are much more varied than that

#i am not exaggerating btw almost every girl sonic character from the games is pink or purple #or wears skirts/dresses/heels/makeup/whatever #and theres nothing wrong wiht those deigns on their own. but why does every girl character have to have those traits #the only exception i can think of is marine but she only showed up for one game and then disappeared forever

they’re p reclusive actually. like they’re name is v well known among IPC members, but no one’s actually met them. bc they don’t have time for all that (save for like. topaz & their superiors. & ratio of course bc they have to work w him directly)

i said this last time but i think they’re one of the main people who’s involved w the sponsorship w the intelligensia guild (if that ends up being another character i DO NOT CARE this is canon to me) & works v closely w veritas since he’s their delegate.

despite ambratio being moon & stars they do NOT get off to a good start oh my goodness. (ambrose didn’t know who he was and tried to shoot him /hj) they do have that kinda “oooo you hate me so bad” but ratio is quite literally just a sugar baby at this point (it’s a joke but also not. ambrose will drop EVERY CENT for this man. to mess with him ofc haha they don’t care…. maybe.)

i just love this v elegant design & then this mf pulls out a gun. sorry it just makes me giggle (mayhaps would have one of those scenes where they shoot away someone’s weapon. gotta protect their mans ig 🤷)

Little fun series of drawing the fellas wearing clothes I’ve made for myself/made for my Elfilin plushie/wore one time to match my Elfilin plushie. Played around with style a bit both intentionally and unintentionally (the painting brush I used for the bee shirt one was scuffed cause while I was working on the lineart my laptop stopped working so I had to load all my stuff on a flash drive and go back to using my old laptop and I hadn’t grabbed my current brush settings yet; it has been repaired under warranty and is on its way back though so it’s all good) and overall it was kind of a struggle but like, a fun struggle.

Anyway, I think that’s my current idea backlog run dry barring a couple pieces (and finishing that one Oh No! Magolor pmv I gueeessss) so in the meantime like, send me Touhou characters to doodle and I might get around to them sometime?? I’ve been trying to familiarize myself with 16-19 since they came out after I had largely stopped paying attention to the series
