So I've been thinking about stuff

Everyone knows about the Steven Universe in Gravity Falls au cause it's really cool

And today I remembered a theory about The Owl House that could allow toh to be shoved in there too

So I've heard of a theory about how because Eda went by Meredith at one point in the human realm and how the lady that Stanley was married to and divorced was also named Meredith, so the theory I've heard is that they're the same Meredith and Eda and Stan were once married

Since the Stan twins are like going around looking for anomalies, I'd assume they'd probably hear about the town Luz is from and investigate a bit- and since I'm pretty sure Eda's school has a human-witch exchange program there might be advertisment for that around the town, that Stanley sees, or he sees the banned sign in the coffee shop and is like "MEREDITH!?"

So they start investigating and whenever they find Eda they can probably just ask to explore the demon realm and stuff

⌛ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

🛠What tools/programs/apps do you use to write?

⌛ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter? - oh it SUPER depends! phases of the moon, whether or not i've recently Peeped The Horrors and been subjected to torments, if i have to anything strenuous like leave the house, you know.

i would say that on average, i can write 1-2k words per day pretty easily. a good day can be 3k, a bad day i can struggle to get even 500 words out. if i'm REALLY focused or it's going REALLY well, then i've gotten up to 5-8k in one day, but that's definitely an outlier - i mostly accomplish that working on 2nd drafts of paint the blood chapters, because they're already written and in a lot of cases i'm basically just transcribing and doing very minor line edits.

between developing the idea, outlining, and actually writing, a story up to 5 or 6k will often take me about a week (going by how long my commissions often end up taking). longer stuff like every human touch (18.6k) can take several weeks to a month; Genesis 19:30-38 (36k) took like a month, month and a half when i actually started writing it.

❌ What’s a trope you will never write? - hmm... that's a good question... i probably won't ever write, like, a coffee shop fic? i just am not terribly interested in that sort of thing. i'm probably also never going to write a high school au, because as soon as i stopped being in high school myself i began to AGGRESSIVELY not care lmao.

other than that... i'm not sure! i can theoretically imagine enjoying pretty much anything, and also, i will in fact write pretty much anything in return for Cash Money, so, you know!

oh, no, here's one: i will never write Actually Good Parent Philip, because i just flat out don't think that's possible.

🛠What tools/programs/apps do you use to write? - a number of them! as i have said before, i do/have done a lot of writing by hand in notebooks. i wrote the 1st draft of every human touch that way, red tongues and hands (very outdated Wittebro backstory fic) that way, and i'm currently writing paint the blood that way (i'm up to chapter 14 in the notebook!)

i also write a lot of fics in google drive. i have a fic folder with specific fandom folders and in my TOH folder i have more than a few documents where i slapped down an outline/idea that came up in chat with friends that i thought had promise, or just wanted to try and noodle a few thousand words on before i lost steam.

i ALSO write in scrivener - i mostly do my commissions that way because the wordcount tool makes it very easy to keep an eye on where i am there, and i have actual limits based on the amount of money the person commissioning me has available, so that's a really helpful tool. i've done bits and pieces of original writing in there too, and i really want to use it more often, because i love the way it works, but exporting fics from there into gdocs or anything else is a huge fucking pain because the italics don't transfer (if anyone knows how to fix this that isn't just "adding them back in by hand every time", PLEASE tell me, btw)

8. What song would make a great fic (to either write or read)?

Hmmm....

This song basically translates to "Papa is strict, and calls me an idiot and a donkey"

And it might be a bit out of character but the fun vibes of the song and lyrics alongside the lyrics are kind of how I envision Bumi as a Commander. Like even when he's strict, he's pretty fun.

The idea of Bumi being a reluctant strict father to the younger guys in command is hilarious to me. He just wants to be uncle but no here he's shouting at some kid because holy fuck you're gonna blow your dick clean off.

13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?

Uhhh... I don't know, actually. I don't really fanfiction lately till it's Bumi fanfiction.

I guess historical setting tropes? Usually the characters don't fit into it as well they should, and there's a shocking lack of research.

I genuinely don't have an answer for this.

23. What’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written, but would like to?

Coffee shop Bumizumi trope. 208 fics and not a single fic where there's a coffee shop. Insane.

I also want to write an Aruani AU where they both believe the Titan curse is still around, and Eremika ditched them to run away, and then... spoilers 🤭🤭🤭

I truly sincerely plan to work on that fic when my Bumi brainrot lessens.

50. Answer whatever you want, so I'm going with question 34: What aspects of your writing are inspired by/taken from your real life?

I try to think my love for Bumi bleeds onto the page. I also add in some of the social alienation Izumi or Annie face from my own life, and Armin's exhaustion at always being the second choice from my life as well.

I really, really want to write a silly self insert OC fic really, so that's why I think I chose this question. Maybe that day I will write a thing taken from my real life, but I guess with my OC Lee (who I am still fleshing out) I just give my transness and. fear of grown men 👍.

i mean i feel like its so obvious for me to say the coven head au is my favorite but it really gave me an excuse to focus on the dynamics of my younger hexsquad because darius and camillas previous relationship plays a really big role in their arcs. but also eat your veggies is really cute as a bio baby hunter au with some REALLY devastating undertones. i dont think ive released anything specifically written for that one though

ill be honest i dont usually read other peoples fics. im really busy! but coffee shop aus are generally a good way to get me interested

oh man youre bringing me back to my one billion obscure pokemon swsh aus i never ended up writing. i had a concept for an au where my main characters were zoologists working at the same zoo. the protagonist worked with the penguins and his love interest specialized in tropical birds and ran the walk through and hands-on education programs. that one was insane. as far as my toh aus go... the ballet au is really special to me but also insanely niche! ive gotten a few nice comments from mutuals but like. its really specific
