I have a head cannon that Callum and Rayla don't get married so quickly. They are happy with being regular Callum and Regular Rayla, but they know a marriage will solidify them as Prince and Princess and bring a new host of geopolitical strife with it. But they do end up married eventually and the engagement goes something like this:

Callum: I want to marry you, and I get that you saying yes means I get a wife but you get a husband AND a title and that's a lot to ask of you. I completely understand if you don't want that responsibility... But I want you to be my wife... And my princess..."

Rayla: you want me to wear a crown for you."

Callum: only a very little one. And besides, you'll be overshadowed by whomever Ezran chooses to bring into his life.

Rayla *with mock drama* but I am the elven princess of Katolis and I will not be overshadowed! I will outlive you all!

Callum *excitedly starts running away*

Rayla: are you running off to tell your brother?!

Callum: of course I'm going to tell my brother! I'M GETTING MARRIED! *He yells for the whole ass courtyard*

so i've been obsessively rewatching the dragon prince (if you haven't seen it drop everything rn and watch it!!! you will not regret it), and when im not watching tdp, im obsessively reading new & rereading klance fics

then suddenly, i want something new:

a vld x tdp crossover!!!

lance as callum

allura as ezran (make her older than lance imo)

Dude that stupid little fucking lemur thing can be COMPLETELY edited out and NOTHING would change except for:

When in the crystal cave it picked up a sick ass rock, which is either one of the Quasar Diamonds (absolutely idiotic unless it's somehow working for Aaravos which would be HILARIOUS) or some rock that will come in handy later for Plot Reasons

When it saved the pouch of "coins" for Rayla, but it can still be edited out and instead the pouch just fell onto another rock and she was able to save it afterwards.

Anyways that dumb ass little lemur was only added so they can keep the Y7 rating and nothing else ✨️
