Luffy 100% stole a bunch of the transponder snails from a marine ship, not knowing what they're even used for. He just thought they were cute. The rest of the straw hats are iffy about the snails until Luffy makes little outfits for them, so they all look like his crew. And yes. The Luffy one has his own mini strawhat.

OP Live Action - Iñaki Gives A Present To Mr. Oda

I love this video! Guys, just another day or two till the live action release. I loved the Sanji intro scene a lot, and it really solidified my shaky expectations! I'll be making some GIFs of it soon. Here's a video of Iñaki presenting Mr. Eiichiro Oda with a gift, and a message from the author himself to the audience!

It's really heartwarming to see a live action with so much enthusiasm and true passion behind it. Whether the series does well or not, I'm just happy to see everyone put their all into the roles. Even the author himself is invested in the production! He also gave an interview and appeared at an LA screening, which is really rare for him. I'll talk about that later. Anyways, here's the video! And by the way. The props are scary, but they're also scarily well done. I love the Transponder Snails! Also, this is the first time I've been genuinely excited for a Live Action, so I'm sorry for burdening y'all with my constant posting about it! I hope everyone enjoys it a lot, and I hope it fares really well.

watched OPLA before i touched the anime (still very early in the anime bc i’m procrastinating) and let me tell you… i fucking Screamed when i saw garp’s transponder snail. i was like physically repulsed by it and i reached out to one of my friends who is a veteran watcher and i was like “hey man i hate the snail and it is disgusting” and he was like “bad news bud, the snails are the phones. they are the only form of long distance communication in a show about pirates.” and i was like FUCK.
