7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?

Hmm... I feel like with the kind of fanfic I write I rarely really get to dive into worldbuilding. I'm more the person who takes 1 randomly mentioned characterization detail of canon and goes to town with it. xD

I am very proud of the Koi Tower eats people headcanon though. Never got to do anything with it yet, but I think it's fun :3

17. What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?

There are so many xD

So many highly specific canon divergence scenarios I want to read. Crossover AUs. Plot Derailment Aus.

(a lot of these usually involve someone dying thought....)

But also, I've been toying with a TGCF Gundam AU. I don't have any plot for it, only vibes, but I just think the characters should get to pilot giant robots and have a lot of Drama. and black water arc mecha battle in Space featuring HX stealing a mech he & SQX built together, SQX being the Worst Pilot Ever but also the only one available, and SWD going out in a epic blaze of glory.

I also had an MDZS King's Avatar AU at one point, but all that really featured was WWX getting kicked out of his pro esports team, moving across the street to Wen Qing's internet cafe, and starting over in the game with a new ridiculously overpowered character and building a new pro team with Wen Ning.

Also Pokemon AUs are common enough, but what about Pokemon Conquest AUs! If Pokemon can canonically crossover with Sengoku-era Japan featuring Koei Samurai Warriors, then I think there is potential for an R3K or a Jianghu version!

And also also, Yugioh AU. I cannot write duels to save my life, but I know enough about the game to fantasize about what kind of Yugioh decks characters would have or which clans would focus on which summoning techniques a la Arc-V xD

WWX has a graveyard focused zombie deck. or maybe he invents pendulum summoning in this verse and everyone hates him forever for it

Probably the niche-est AU I have though that very definitely no one other than me would ever read is the Warriors Orochi AU where MDZS characters get summoned to WO3 verse and interact with R3K, Sengoku era & assorted historical/mythological/video game figures. I have had some ideas for 'stages' haha xD

(or maybe a general WO3 mxtx fusion could work. I just really like WO3's plot and stage setups)

37. Promote one of your own “deep cut” fics (an underrated one, or one that never got as much traction as you think it deserves!). What do you like about it?

It's kinda hard to say what a fic deserves but I was always a little sad 'Supporting Role' didn't get a little more love (although it's certainly done better than some of my more recent fics orz). It was a fic that had always been on my mind from the first time I watched The Untamed, and especially after learning how different Meng Yao's role with the Nie was in the novel vs. CQL.

The fic was originally going to have a follow up Nie brothers chapter, but I got a bit discouraged at the initial reception and shelved the idea ^^"

Writing has not really been easy for me lately, but I'm slowly getting back into it... though without much success at finishing things. I have a lot of ideas, but it's been more fulfilling to talk about them with people than actually writing them. Oops?

I really want to try writing more longfics though. But also short snippets (au or otherwise) that can just stand alone without 1000s of words of buildup

the thing about art is that it was always supposed to be about us, about the human-ness of us, the impossible and beautiful reality that we (for centuries) have stood still, transfixed by music. that we can close our eyes and cry about the same book passage; the events of which aren't real and never happened. theatre in shakespeare's time was as real as it is now; we all laugh at the same cue (pursued by bear), separated hundreds of years apart.

three years ago my housemates were jamming outdoors, just messing around with their instruments, mostly just making noise. our neighbors - shy, cautious, a little sheepish - sat down and started playing. i don't really know how it happened; i was somehow in charge of dancing, barefoot and laughing - but i looked up, and our yard was full of people. kids stacked on the shoulders of parents. old couples holding hands. someone had brought sidewalk chalk; our front walk became a riot of color. someone ran in with a flute and played the most astounding solo i've ever heard in my life, upright and wiggling, skipping as she did so. she only paused because the violin player was kicking his heels up and she was laughing too hard to continue.

two weeks ago my friend and i met in the basement of her apartment complex so she could work out a piece of choreography. we have a language barrier - i'm not as good at ASL as i'd like to be (i'm still learning!) so we communicate mostly through the notes app and this strange secret language of dancers - we have the same movement vocabulary. the two of us cracking jokes at each other, giggling. there were kids in the basement too, who had been playing soccer until we took up the far corner of the room. one by one they made their slow way over like feral cats - they laid down, belly-flat against the floor, just watching. my friend and i were not in tutus - we were in slouchy shirts and leggings and socks. nothing fancy. but when i asked the kids would you like to dance too? they were immediately on their feet and spinning. i love when people dance with abandon, the wild and leggy fervor of childhood. i think it is gorgeous.

their adults showed up eventually, and a few of them said hey, let's not bother the nice ladies. but they weren't bothering us, they were just having fun - so. a few of the adults started dancing awkwardly along, and then most of the adults. someone brought down a better sound system. someone opened a watermelon and started handing out slices. it was 8 PM on a tuesday and nothing about that day was particularly special; we might as well party.

one time i hosted a free "paint along party" and about 20 adults worked quietly while i taught them how to paint nessie. one time i taught community dance classes and so many people showed up we had to move the whole thing outside. we used chairs and coatracks to balance. one time i showed up to a random band playing in a random location, and the whole thing got packed so quickly we had to open every door and window in the place.

i don't think i can tell you how much people want to be making art and engaging with art. they want to, desperately. so many people would be stunning artists, but they are lied to and told from a very young age that art only matters if it is planned, purposeful, beautiful. that if you have an idea, you need to be able to express it perfectly. this is not true. you don't get only 1 chance to communicate. you can spend a lifetime trying to display exactly 1 thing you can never quite language. you can just express the "!!??!!!"-ing-ness of being alive; that is something none of us really have a full grasp on creating. and even when we can't make what we want - god, it feels fucking good to try. and even just enjoying other artists - art inherently rewards the act of participating.

i wasn't raised wealthy. whenever i make a post about art, someone inevitably says something along the lines of well some of us aren't that lucky. i am not lucky; i am dedicated. i have a chronic condition, my hands are constantly in pain. i am not neurotypical, nor was i raised safe. i worked 5-7 jobs while some of these memories happened. i chose art because it mattered to me more than anything on this fucking planet - i would work 80 hours a week just so i could afford to write in 3 of them.

and i am still telling you - if you are called to make art, you are called to the part of you that is human. you do not have to be good at it. you do not have to have enormous amounts of privilege. you can just... give yourself permission. you can just say i'm going to make something now and then - go out and make it. raquel it won't be good though that is okay, i don't make good things every time either. besides. who decides what good even is?

you weren't called to make something because you wanted it to be good, you were called to make something because it is a basic instinct. you were taught to judge its worth and over-value perfection. you are doing something impossible. a god's ability: from nothing springs creation.

a few months ago i found a piece of sidewalk chalk and started drawing. within an hour i had somehow collected a small classroom of young children. their adults often brought their own chalk. i looked up and about fifteen families had joined me from around the block. we drew scrangly unicorns and messed up flowers and one girl asked me to draw charizard. i am not good at drawing. i basically drew an orb with wings. you would have thought i drew her the mona lisa. she dragged her mother over and pointed and said look! look what she drew for me and, in the moment, i admit i flinched (sorry, i don't -). but the mother just grinned at me. he's beautiful. and then she sat down and started drawing.

someone took a picture of it. it was in the local newspaper. the summary underneath said joyful and spontaneous artwork from local artists springs up in public gallery. in the picture, a little girl covered in chalk dust has her head thrown back, delighted. laughing.

Is it me or dose Pink RS and Toxic Princess from the princess’ jewels feel similar

Note the authors in two different webcomics are different, RS has an unhealthy celebrity crush and a Lolita Fetish and while the Princess’ Jewels author Alove is a disgusting human being and she is a pedo.

Both of them are sexy and beautiful Mary Sue girl boss and they show toxic femininity and girls look up to them as role models, for example Pink RS bullies all the nymphs for liking her man meat and Toxic Princess treats men like toys and she forced one of them to join her “Jewelry Box” and she bullies and fat shames her fiancé (because he’s not hot).

They have beautiful art style and cute clothes. 

The Red guy with great personality and he’s a 10, but He’s a simp to the main Mary girl.

Look we got POC with no personality and not treating them like they are real humans and they are there for points (sick)

The only likable characters (don’t know about Toxic Princess’ mother though)

We got toxic relationships like Christian Blue and Pink RS, and Toxic Princess and her poor Jewels.

Sex sense that some how not getting censored or banned from breaking Webtoons rule which is no sexual themes and romanticize abuse and it is on app that his for kids to look at.

Another girl boss like Hera and Yellow queen who are friends with the main girls who are way worse then them.

And again they are the role models of very young girls to up to which it’s bad, because there are no beautiful, sexy and girly female characters in today’s American entertainment and they flat out go to Webtoon, because they have beautiful and sexy female characters on here, so they can look up and they look up Pink RS and Toxic Princess, because they are pretty and didn’t look past their pretty faces to see how awful they are. If you want to look up to any female characters then I would recommend you to watch Japanese anime and read manga, because they have a hand full of amazing writing female characters who are feminine and the opposite of a Mary Sue/Toxic feminine here are the list.

you had built the life you had dreamed of since you were seventeen.

now, married to the one and only wanda maximoff.

marrying wanda was the best decision you have made. you are the most happy you have ever been. knowing now that you are all okay, married, with a cute little baby girl, would put your seventeen year old mind to ease.

you worked at the avengers tower for years, it's where you met wanda. they all felt like family and respected eachother as family as well.

when you married wanda, you two decided to buy a house in the quiet part of new york. where you could have a yard with one or two dogs, where your kids could run around and lose energy.

you let wanda pick everything, everything was to wanda's liking and you did whatever she asked you to do. you put in a couple of suggestions but for the most part, wanda was in control.

wanda wanted a garden? you would search up the tools for it.

wanda wants an outdoor bath? you would be the first one in home depo the next morning.

wanda wants a open butterfly garden? you were googling which plants attract butterfly's.

wanda hasn't retired yet as a superhero. she was an on call agent, only going in if it was a disaster.

you on the other hand, spent 50% of your days at home while the rest was at work.

you got concerned as this was a very rare occasion. only happening when either wanda or alora was sick in bed.

"baby? alora? baby, i'm home" you say, dropping your keys and your bag, now going up stairs to see where they are.

the app on your phone says wanda is at the house, but you haven't heard from her yet.

that's when you saw the light of your master bedroom bathroom was on. the door was shut and you heard light talking.

"wands?" you call out, "i'm coming in"

very quickly, the door locked and you couldn't get in.

"uh, i need you to stay out for a couple minutes" wanda says.

"where's alora?"

it was a couple seconds before you heard giggles and wanda shushing, "she's uh- she's with me"

"babe, come on, what's going on"

"nothing! just wait outside"

you try to wait patiently on the edge of your shared bed but with your line of work and the secrecy wanda has right now doesn't mix well in your stomach.

finally, the door cracks just a bit and wanda's head pops out.

"i'm excited to present to you, alora maximoff- y/l/n!"

your little baby, alora, with her pretty pink tutu skirt , no shoes, and a plain white sleeveless shirt.

"mama!" she yells out as she bounces towards you.

you pick her up and place her on your hip.

"how's my little girl do-" you stop yourself when you see the new changes to her hair.

her strawberry blonde hair has now bangs. you remember her asking for bangs for a couple months but she gave up on asking you and has been bothering wanda about it.

you didn't think wanda would actually let alora have bangs but now that she does, you are surprised to say she looks even more adorable than ever.

"what's this?" you say, lighting touching her bangs

"i got bangs, mama! you like?" she says, smiling brightly. 

"oh i love them, my little princess!" you say, hugging her tight and giving her kisses all over her face.

when you felt wanda's hand on your waist is when you stopped.

"i did cut myself" wanda mentions as alora tries to catch her breath.

"you did an amazing job, darling" you say, kissing wanda on the lips before you turn back to wanda.

"i was thinking, what if we have pizza today for dinner?" alora starts cheering, you and wanda laugh at her and you place her down carefully so she can run off to the kitchen.

you finally turn to wanda, looking down at your beautiful wife.

"did you really like how it came out?" wanda asks with her sweetest voice.

"yes, darling. she looks adorable" you confirm and she smiles more.

twirling her hair in your fingers a bit before you meet her eyes again and pull her into a kiss.

wanda's arms wrap around your neck and you grab her thighs to place her on the bed before your hands go to hold her waist.

"mama! mommy!"
