These are the couples that have been strong from the beginning and typically become the comfort characters due to their consistent reliability.

Rome and Regina- A Million Little Things

A Million Little Things does a terrific job crafting its characters and demonstrating the typical ups and downs one goes through in the process of working on themselves. From the beginning, Rome and Regina Howard are presented as the ultra strong power couple of the friend group. Even when everything else is in chaos, this couple works together and supports each other through every obstacle they face. Rome and Regina know what it takes to foster a healthy marriage and make up the perfect dream relationship.

Lily and Marshall- How I Met Your Mother

Marshall and Lily make up a pretty iconic power couple of the 2000's. Whether you've watched How I Met Your Mother or not, chances are you've heard of the always dependable dynamic between Marshall and Lily that shows just how special and important it is to fall in love with your best friend.

Alya and Nino- Miraculous

If Miraculous is really the kids show it claims to be, at least the creators are showing kids what a good relationship looks like. We have the pleasure of watching Alya and Nino get to know each other, become friends, and grow to be boyfriend and girlfriend. Thank goodness for them too because otherwise we would be left reeling over Adrien and Marinette's chaotic relationship all the time. So, it's nice to know that we can always depend on Alya and Nino's unbreakable bond, and man it sure is fun to watch. There are other strong relationships in the show like Rose and Juleka and Tom and Sabine, but Alya and Nino's definitely stands out the most. After all, the supporting characters/best friends always do seem to have it so much better than the main characters.

Monica and Chandler- Friends

There are so many mixed reviews out there about Monica and Chandler, but I personally love their relationship. I think one of the most well written parts of Friends was the development of their relationship from friends to lovers. They were the comfort couple we could count on while Ross and Rachel's was always a mess, and I personally think Friends would not have been as successful if it weren't for the relationship between Monica and Chandler.

Howard and Bernadette- The Big Bang Theory

Howard and Bernadette are an out-of-nowhere power couple. Watching the show from the beginning without any clue of what will happen, Howard and Bernadette do not seem like they would end up together at first, but before long they become ultra strong. Their bantering and flirtatious ways make for excellent comedy while also creating a dream relationship dynamic.

Cece and Schmidt- New Girl

This is another couple that I did not see coming at first. Schmidt and Cece were just so different that I was not sure that it would actually happen, but once they were together, I knew they had to be endgame. They are both such fun characters individually, but put together as a couple, they're incomparable. The ups and downs of Nick and Jess' relationship may be intriguing, but Cece and Schmidt's relationship is what kept me watching.

JJ and Will- Criminal Minds

Anyone who watches Criminal Minds could attest to the fact that the writers are not that great at developing relationships. It's a crime show and they make that very clear. We get snippets of the characters' lives usually in the first and last five minutes of each episode and that's about it. However, every once in a while there is an episode that will just blow you away and those normally revolve around the main characters heavily. These golden episodes are when we really get development in the characters' personally and in relationships. Probably the best developed relationship in the show would be JJ and Will's. The relationship was not originally a part of the show, but the writers created it when AJ Cook (JJ) became pregnant. This led to the formation of an adorable family and a relationship we have come to depend on in the ever-changing world of Criminal Minds.

Sookie and Jackson- Gilmore Girls

Sookie and Jackson have a dream relationship. They work well together, they love to play around, but they can also be real with each other. They always have each other's back and demonstrate what a healthy relationship should look like. Sookie and Jackson have their flaws of course and they certainly make mistakes, but they don't let it define them or their relationship. They have an adorable love story that never ceases to amaze me.

Enid and Ajax- Wednesday

Enid and Ajax are still in the early stages of their relationship, but even after a short period of time, the two of them still stand out to me as a strong couple. They complement each other and make a great team. Time will tell how well their relationship does, but I've certainly enjoyed watching them grow closer and begin to develop together.

Alexa and Spencer- Alexa and Katie

One thing I love about Alexa and Katie is that the creators continued to bring in characters with cancer even after Alexa entered remission. For a show with a sad, deep underbelly, they were pretty lighthearted. Alexa and Katie could've been so much darker, but I like that it wasn't. I love the connection between Spencer and Alexa specifically because of the extra development it gave to Alexa's character as well as another perspective from someone with cancer. Alexa and Spencer have a unique bond and although they are bonded by cancer, I like that they help each other through it and grow closer because of it.
