Everything hurts.

Pac groans in pain as he is downed again. How many times has he been killed now, eight times? Ten? Twelve? He’s not sure– and frankly, he doesn’t care anymore. He just wants those fucking eye worker things to be gone.

Someone is picking him up– Pac’s not sure who it is. Everything is so blurry, so hazy. He remembers thanking them as he stands on his legs, hissing when the bruises on the stump of his prosthetic leg ache. He hears more screaming, more fighting, he thinks he heard the sound of someone dying, but he’s not sure of who.

Everything is too much.

“WHAT?!”

Pac turns around, stumbling when he hears Bagi’s broken voice. What happened? His head is spinning, and everything seems to come in and out of focus.

“Who did that?!” She screams, a rage in her voice Pac has never heard come from her. “WHO DID THAT?!”

He’s confused– what happened? He grabs his comm with shaking hands, thinking something was said in chat.

Empanada is bleeding.

Empanada was slain.

What.

He freezes. His heart stops, mind going quiet as gunshots and yells overlap. But– But Empanada was right here. She was behind him, running away with her frying pan in her hands when Pac was downed. How could she be dead? Not again, not again, not again.

“No, no, no...” He mumbles, watching as Bagi and Fit push the worker with their scythes and corners it. The male stumbles towards the worker, hands clenched into fists. He has nothing– those fuckers destroyed his home, destroyed his armour and weapons, took away one of Em’s lives...

He punches, because that’s all he can do.

He punches with as much strength he can muster (which isn’t a lot), mindful to not get between it and Bagi. He keeps punching, again and again and again because how dare they?! How DARE they hurt his family.

Then Bagi yells.

“YOU KILLED EMPANADA, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!” She screams, stabbing the worker with her scythe and downing it. “YOU PIECE OF SHIT!”

Pac stumbles back, freezing.

He’s heard that tone before, accompanied by wide, crazy blue eyes and blodied, sharp fangs.

He tries to breathe, but his body feels out of his control. He gets goosebumps as Bagi screams and yells with grief and anger in her voice as she stabs the worker over, and over, and over, and over. Fit stands back, hand going white by the grip he has on his scythe and a mix of anger and guilt on his face.

At some point, the body of the Eye Worker stumbles towards his frozen body. Bagi, in her fit of rage, doesn't see him and continues stabbing the Worker. Pac feels a flash of pain in his abdomen, and he collapses, downed once again but this time by Bagi. He doesn’t dare to move or to speak– he needs to be as quiet and still as he can if he wants to live, to survive.

He starts to get picked up by someone, but all Pac can manage to say is that they can leave him, he’s fine. He gets picked up, of course, but all he can do is stand there, paralized, as Bagi continues her rampage on the eye worker.

Everything hurts, and all he can do is watch.

Thinking about Chayanne and Baghera being even just a bit disturbed as they look at Philza, who just has a blank expression... as if he's done this before... as if he's killed his own child before...

Thinking about him taking both Chayanne and Baghera to live alone in the north together with them not understanding why...

Thinking about Wilbur being the one to call him out on what he's doing...

"Can't you see what's happening here?! Can't you see history repeating itself?!" Those same words Techno said once upon a time...

That which they offered

() is just me speculating/clarifying something

No one really talks about it any more but, what are the prizes and punishments? What could they offer that would be rewarding enough?

An illegal item?

Freedom from the island?

Being able to keep your egg if they do end up getting taken away?

For the first, I don't think that the players would be able to choose the items themselves. I think their pasts and backgrounds would be evaluated to give them what the federation thinks they need most.

Using Philza as an example, what is he know for? Builds, hardcore, w e e b , and his talent in flight. And out of those you can only really build off of one.

So elytra

Stated in a recent stream (I don't remember which one) Canonically, his wings are clipped, and this is why he cant fly and why he can't escape the island

So for the prize, if the federation stopped clipping his wings, (gave him an elytra) he would be free, and, able to pursue the binary monster into the air when it takes off. If its still around by that point.

However it wouldn't just be so he could better protect the eggs

If you haven't watched his streams before, mans loves to fly. He genuinely enjoys it, and I could write paragraphs of the feats that he's done with elytra just because he wanted to. Because he loves flight

I don't watch others pov's that much but I think that every player has some little tie to a item, to a thing that they love. So I think rewards will be like that

But the punishments. As unique and personal as the rewards, these would be a bit more complicated, however they bring up a fair question. After the pain of losing your egg, what would they do?

And I have no fucking clue

After hearing jaiden's anguish and genuine grief, im not sure if the pain that bobby's death caused would be able to be matched

The punishments would involve the eggs somehow, possibly hurting a fake version of them and forcing the parents to watch (the players wouldn't know its not actually their egg). Or making the parents relive the moment of their eggs death/moment they found out their egg was dead. Which, reading that back now I cannot believe I just came up with that (wtf???). But I know I'm right. Some sort of psychological torture that violates the Geneva convention

I can only imagine what kind of fucked up thing they have planned

I think the worst thing about an egg’s death will always be the parent/ caregiver’s reaction to it.

Like Chayanne and Tallulah’s nightmare where Phil was begging and try to coach Chayanne to help get him up only to lay there and desperately apologize to Chayanne as he died

Or Ramon’s nightmare with literally everyone on the server (Max, Leo, Foolish, Quackity, Bad) all running to Ramon, trying to save him. Foolish saying “Did we fail?” when he saw Ramon’s death message. Max trying his best to explain to Quackity that Ramon was safe in his house-he was safe-and that the code shouldnt have killed him. Or Bad staying an hour after, opening Ramon’s door over and over again.

Or Bobby’s death where Roier was telling Bobby over and over again that they shouldnt do the dungeon. Only to lay there and bleeding out, helpless because they were thousands of blocks away. Roier had to lay there and watch his son die, only to die soon after.

Or Juanaflippa’s death when Roier had to yell at Mariana to leave the ship because they were going to die. Mariana sobbing and screaming out for Juanaflippa as Roier drove away.

Or Dapper’s deaths, the satellite dish and the mansion. Bad screaming and running into the mansion even though he couldnt fightr anything just to possibly get Dapper up. Only for them to dig a hole in the ground in the middle of the night with no armor and wait. The satellite dish death with no hope of escaping. Cellbit asking if Bad is okay while Bad gets Dapper’s body. Slowly realizing that this was meant to happen.

Now today with Empanada’s death. Bagi screaming and crying while everyone froze. A mother’s grief unmatched to anything else as she tried to kill any worker in her path. Bagi telling Pac and Fit that she wants to go back to purgatory just so she can kill the eye workers.

I hope we never have to experience any more parent’s grief because it hurts the most

bonus: explanation as to why the scanner didn't picked up the guns

Okay, so.

The short explanation is that Bobby's front pocket isn't considered as in-game inventory, because the overalls is an attire, or it is considered as a Minecraft skin to be exact. The scanner camera only scans in-game-on-person inventory, or anything that shows you the inventory interface if you click on them, which is why the two guns bypassed the scan and remained undetected.

Were Roier and/or Jaiden aware of this? I'll leave that up to you guys' interpretation.

Also, there was an alternative choice to have Maxo be the one giving Bobby the guns, since he might be someone who probably figured that out one way or another.

But, I settled on Roier and Jaiden because it is quite funny to me if those two didn't knew about the loophole and didn't realized that they accidentally gave Bobby what he needed to wreck havoc in the afterlife (^^ゞ) + get revenge on that one time he died at the hands of the binary monster.

(Also, apparently according to the wiki, Bobby prefers the non-coloured sign because he likes the basic ones. But, he did have a teal/baby blue sign which he occasionally use.)

I've started thinking about this...

Do you think, for a while after Bobby's death, Richarlyson was jealous of his parents getting to have best friends(Tazercraft duo and Cellbit+Felps) while his best friend died, yet he kept those feelings to himself?

After a bit, the jealousy died down, but I think it might have still been a thing once...

In light of Em's death, I wanna point out how long its been since we lost an egg life. Not just permadeath. Just a life.

In the first month of the eggs, we lost almost half of them (Tilin (Day 23), Trumpet (Day 23), Juanaflippa (Day 24)) and Chayanne, Ramon, Leo, and Richas all lost a life (Day 13, Day 15, Day 36, Day 42).

Then in May, Tallulah, Dapper, and Bobby all lost a life (Day 55, Day 56, Day 57) and Bobby was the last permadeath we experienced.

Now Em lost a life on Day 293.

Day 293.

In 236 fucking days, no eggs lost a life.

We went from 3 eggs dying and 4 of them losing a life in the first month to one egg dying in 236 days.

These eggs went from being a competition experiment to being the reason why the islanders want to be better and strong.

No matter what, love is the strongest thing and it shows with the QSMP
