Riddle spending the first few weeks in Alola after his adoption is heaven on earth as his inner child takes over as he now has the freedom to explore and discover new things. For example, he visits the Pokémon School because he is curious about what a school is like in the Pokémon world, the fact that he can also deepen bonds with his Pokémon during classes fascinates him. If he sees the Ohana Research material on Pokémon evolution? His new nerdy side takes over (I wouldn't be surprised if Riddle ends up deciding on a path in Pokémon research if anyone ask him what he thinks about doing in the future).

oh my gosh he’s so overwhelmed

he finally gets to feed into his inner child and he ends up exploring almost the entirety of Melemele island in one day

the longer riddle stays in Alola, the more invested he becomes in Ohana’s research, as well as the em research of Ohana’s colleagues, Kukui and Burnet

I feel like riddle would be especially interested in items and how they affect Pokemon, mainly how Pokémon natures can alter the effects of berries, as well as physical items that can change something in battle (such as quick claw sometimes allowing the holder to move first, or how a focus dash can prevent an OHKO)

I love how in the Stitch event, Stitch TALKS. In sound! Probably TWST used voice files from the Lilo & Stitch series, and it's because Stitch has simple voice lines, but it's still cool to see someone talking in sound in the event!

Yeah, I definitely wasn’t expecting the Stitch voiced lines but they’re a nice, cute touch! He growls, grunts, and laughs but also says, “Stitch good”, and “ohana”.

fhksv;16?fFsgv Kind of expected him to lock eyes with his fellow gremlin Grim and then immediately spiral into chaos… Like, Stitch starts biting people and curls up into a ball to smack into Grim 💀 Then this guy has the audacity to climb onto bigger gremlins Lilia and Floyd’s shoulders (which is how they can appear if you roll their respective SSRs) and look all innocent… The range of expressions Stitch can make in his in-game models is impressive!! They really capture him well.

Side note: Damn, the TWST team really popped off with all these new assets 🥺 I expected the beach in the book to be picturesque, but the bookshelf in the Archives is also super aesthetically pleasing!

Also, also: GANTU LOOKS SO BiG AND GOOFy 🤪 Love that we can see his teefs when he talks/points and shouts at them to hand over 626 or get mcfucking lasered Ortho-approved method of retrieval, I’m sure… This man is NOT above killing high school kids to get their talking dog/j)

i just rewatched Lilo and Stitch (and Hunchback of Notre Dame) BUT MOSTLY LILO ANS STITCH IS WHAT GOT ME!!! The Ramshackle feels QAAAAAAAAAA.....

Stitch REALLY reminds me of grim 🥲 The way Grim also cried about not having to return home to Ramshackle because he harmed Yuu... paralleled that time Stitch ran away because he was causing too much trouble for Lilo-😭😭😭 I got so sad at the end where Stitch said "Can I say goodbye?" before leaving... AAAAA I'll be shambles for eternity the day Yuu and Grim will be seperated.‼️‼️💥💥💥

Also as always Diasomnia feels 😂💔💔 I had to pause the movie to process some lines because the impact was too damaging bcs I always relate Disney movies to TWST now 🤣

Wait wait omg hear me out hear me out MC WHO PURPOSELY HIDES THEIR POWERS BECAUSE THEY'RE SCARED OF ONE DAY NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTROL THEM ANYMORE. mc takes the chance to hide their powers once the mirror says they have absolutely no magic !!

I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense or is to specific! So, my request is-

mc has been recently adopted into lilias family, due to them being rather reluctant to go back home ( family issues).

So far, they've showed no sign of any magic. until one of the diasomnia characters get hurt on purpose ( random student overblot, or something really big of a threat) , that's when mc can't hide their powers any longer. they're completely consumed in wrath, and with that their ~secret~ power activates on instinct.

All the metals near them just rip off and mc manage to stop the threat with their metal manipulation powers.

in conclusion, diasomnia reacting to an mc who can control metal ? g/n mc also reveals they're even able to control the iron in people's blood.

I might have gone off on a different tangent this time after remembering how protective the entire diasomnia dorm is when it comes to their group. Hope you like it!

Now, let's enter this twisted wonderland~

When the mirror declared you have no magic in you, you were initially confused.

You chalked it up to the definition of magic in your world and this world is different.

You suppressed any hints of your abilities in fear of anyone knowing.

After the whole dorm sorting, the Diasomnia dorm and students welcomed you more than you anticipated.

The more you interacted with the dorm, the more you get attached to them.

So when Crowley offered a way back to your world, you declined and said that your life is here now.

However, happy days don’t always last and before you know it, one of the Diasomnia students overblotted and injured your friends.

You didn’t even hear what they were saying as all you see is red and only feel anger.

Without knowing it, you’ve manipulated all metal around the vicinity.

That includes Silver’s sword and Sebek’s spear.

Followed with you controlling the body activity of the person, it wasn’t a pretty sight to anyone.

Needless to say, you most definitely stopped the threat…and almost killed the student.

If it weren't for Malleus’ magic, the student will be dead and you’ll be rampaging still.

When you woke up there’s a little stiffness in the air around the dorm and after the whole explanation of what happened, needless to say, they kinda feel betrayed.

Not because you almost killed someone but because you lied to them about your magic.

Even after the whole reasoning on your side and revealing your abilities, Diasomnia’s value towards family and unity is slightly shaken from that event.

It’ll take a long time but the sense of unity in the dorm will return.

Just be honest to them next time.

Grim overblot HC and TWST ending theory (SPOILERS AHEAD)

 K so you’re all familiar with Grim overblot theory right? I just have this- angsty headcanon which I cannot stop thinking about.

It would happen right after Malleus overblot. After eating Malleus black blot stone Grim becomes that huge ass chimera while everyone, including Yuu, is watching. And that just destroys Yuu.

They will be devastaded. Grim has been with them ever since the very beginning of their stay in Twisted Wonderland. Sure he caused lots of problems for them but it’s undeniable that Yuu also cares for Grim. Grim also showed us to have grow kind of fond of Yuu as we see in episode 4, Grim could’ve just left Scarabia alone and left Yuu behind but he didn’t. I’m pretty sure prologue Grim would have done that, that’s just how his character developed.

Yuu would weakly call out for him and try to snap him out of it. They would approach him and overblot Grim wouldn’t recognize them, instead glaring at them with irrational hatred, no trace of his old memories coming back. Someone would have to actually throw Yuu out of the way or they would end up straight up killed by Grim’s magic. First year gang would protectively take Yuu’s side while Dorm Leaders fight the beast. 

But then something just went wrong. They managed to defeat him, he’s back on being the tiny little gremlin we all know and love. But he isn’t waking up. Maybe all of those overblot stones plus Malleus stone (since he is one of the most powerful beings in the TWST world I don’t even want to think about just how much power his magic stone holds- ) were just too much for his tiny fragile body. He couldn’t bear it. Yuu would run to his side, tears in their eyes, and gently scoop him on their arms... Flashbacks sparking through their mind, all of the silly moments they had together, hanging out with Ace and Deuce, helping out of the Dorm Leaders with their overblots... But they couldn’t help Grim.

The mirror chamber is almost completely destroyed, everyone is just inconsolable. Ace and Deuce would stay by Yuu’s side, fighting back tears. 

I realized that I was unconsciously thinking about this scene... 

That’s from Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, it’s a sequel to the first movie. Near the end of the movie Stitch dies (like for REAL-) and Lilo gently holds him, while shoowing away anyone that approaches them. She then apologizes and says these words:

‘‘I kept saying how I needed you. But you needed me more. You’re my ohana Stitch, and I’ll always love you.’‘

And I imagine Yuu saying these words to Grim and just... my heart... (that scene was one of the few times a disney movie actually made me cry when I was a kid)

So, as we know, there’s a pattern that every dorm which was the main focus on a chapter becomes your ally against the next dorm leader. Diasomnia is the last dorm so we can only assume they (especially Malleus) will play a big role in Grim’s overblot chapter. 

We don’t actually know just how much Malleus is capable of, but he could... Try to bring Grim back to life? idk?? It might be possible?? 

So Grim comes back. With the power of friendship, love or magic (or all combined lol) there, we have our happy ending. BUT NOT YET-

Crowley found a way to send Yuu back to their world, it was all they were hoping for since the beginning but... Now it just feels wrong. Everyone they met, they will be left behind. They’ll probably never see each other again, and they don’t even know if after going back to their world their memories of Twisted Wonderland will remain. 

Then... What about Grim?

Grim and Yuu are a single student, he could enroll into NRC only because Yuu was paired up with him. Without Yuu, Grim will have to leave NRC and... Just be by himself, completely alone since he doesnt’t have a family nor a place to return to.

Then my theory is, Grim will go with Yuu to the real world.

They are basically the only family to each other at this point, it just doesn’t feel right to leave Grim behind. Of course since the real world is a place in which magic doesn’t exist (I wonder... perhaps  👀) Grim would become a normal cat, no more fiery ears, no more pitchfork tail, and of course no more hability to speak like a human. It might take a while for him to get used to it, but he will still continue to be a smart little gremlin always ready to cause trouble. 

Wholesome ending in which Grim becomes Yuu’s pet in the real world and finally has a loving family and a warm home that he deserves.

ok, please listen to what I have to say: Heartslabyul gang visiting Riddle in Alola is a little chaotic, but not negatively.

Trey exploring markets and shops on a gourmet scavenger hunt because he's curious about the baked goods and sweets of the Pokémon world and can you blame him?

Cater, our influencer boy is loving the paradisiacal landscapes of Alola that he needed two more memory cards because he couldn't choose which photos to keep as they were all ✨fabulous✨ and he guaranteed that he would only post the ones that don't have pokemon because he isn't idiot and doesn't want some crazy person from their world causing problems in the pokemon world, this world already deals with villains and hunters and they don't need some maniac running around hunting pokemon and dragging them back to Twisted to sell as if they weren't living beings that deserve it respect.

Deuce having fun exploring the islands on some poke-ride while his grandmother and mother enjoy some vacation. Our blueberry boy had fun like a child who ended up being adopted by a Dranpa and also made friends with a little machop, it seems he accidentally caught his first two pokemon 😂 (machop is also a good pokémon helping his mom and grandma ❤️)

Ace exploring around and buying some souvenirs and trinkets while thinking about which Pokémon he could catch. Not to mention when he tried to prank Riddle who was napping in a hammock and his Stufful stared at Ace with dead eyes as if to say in threat: Go ahead, I dare you...

TREY WOULD ABSOLUTELY ADORE MALASADAS AND WOULD 100% TRY AND MAKE THE RECIPE WHEN HE GETS BACK HOME

I also see him being genuinely interested on how Alolan Raichu evolved and become psychic type through the sheer power of fluffy pancakes

we stan Cater being conscious of his surroundings, he’s such good, very cool 😎

the Drampa and Machop essentially claim Deuce as their trainer lol, Ohana gifts him some Pokeballs to catch them and Riddle allows Deuce to keep them at Heartslabyul, as long as he doesn’t show them off or let them destroy stuff

After Ohana successfully adopted Riddle, don't deny that this Pokémon Professor spoils him rotten with all the affection he was denied in childhood. The same goes for Ohana's Bewear and not forgetting to mention the rest of Riddle's team earned it with effort and praise after his first visit to Alola after the successful adoption (his inner kid was just so happy in the day of his first catch❤).

Prepare a tissue because there is a lot of cuteness that will probably melt the hearts of many: Riddle is successfully adopted by Professor Ohana and the first time he went to see his new home in the Pokémon world he was nervous about screwing up as there are still some emotional scars that Mrs. Rosehearts left.

Being a Pokémon professor it is important to be observant and learn body language to deal with any adversity and this also applies to humans and it is obvious that Ohana noticed Riddle's nervousness. I can imagine them hugging the redhead and telling Riddle something like:

- "Riddle, I can't imagine what you've been through or give you back your childhood. But now I'm your (insert parental pronoun) and I'll never take away your freedom like she did. I'll be here to guide you or scold you when something What you do isn't right, but I'm also going to let you make your choices and learn from your mistakes. You're my child now and I swear I'll be here for you, okay?"

And now Riddle is crying like a baby while clinging to Professor Ohana just like a Komala hugging its stump while our alola's professor is comforting the poor boy still with some trauma from the excuse for a human being that Mrs Rosehearts is.

Now imagine this: After Ohana adopts Riddle, there have been instances of Mrs. Rosehearts being a total Karen person (wouldn't be surprised if that's her name and no hard feelings against people named Karen and aren't selfish idiots) and trying to be a pain in the neck and harassing this Pokémon professor when Ohana is trying to be civil and giving warnings before things get ugly.

But Ohana has a savage side when someone ignores the warnings until thay end up losing all their cool and becoming physically violent, for example:

"You dare call yourself a mother when you are nothing more than a tyrannical narcissist who only cares about her own reputation and you only had a child for the sole purpose of satisfying your own unhealthy ego. Riddle was so traumatized by your "parenting" that he suffered this so-called Oveblot!" "You never saw him as a son, just a tool to feed your ego. Even when he achieved incredible feats he was still criticized that he could have done better. You took away all the kind of freedom a child is entitled to, you didn't give him the chance to create his own sense of right and wrong, to learn from his own mistakes or to feel proud of himself when he achieved something or to feel what true parental affection is. You just imposed your ideals and made him a puppet, never dare to refer to yourself as mother or that Riddle is your son." "He is now my son and I want to avoid using unnecessary violence… So this is my last warning… Never, I say NEVER try to get any near Riddle again, otherwise don't blame me if I live up to my reputation as ' Bewear Bonebreaker' because everyone in Alola knows I'm as strong as a Bewear when I'm angry… Now get lost…."

And by the way, the threatening aura emanating from Ohana made Mrs. Rosehearts shut up and never come near Riddle again. I think Professor Ohana is someone from the pokemon world proverb "Docile and friendly appearance of a Bewear, but a threat when they ignore the warnings to never cross the line" (I made up that proverb lol). Just like the description in the Pokédex (and it would be hilarious if Big Bad Guzma was scared to death of Professor Ohana when they were angry and learned the hard way lol).

Riddle ugly crying because he was overwhelmed with emotions (happiness, being proud of himself, etc) the first time he completed an island challenge (he probably got his ass kicked a few times because he's a newbie trainer who's still learning the ropes in practice since theory is another story) against some Kahuna and how Ohana praised him for his effort and said they were so proud of him with a smile full of parental love. Yep, his inner child is definitely healing little by little. Maybe when he graduates he'll take some time to explore other regions, because why not? :3

Ohana was so proud of him and Hala (while sceptical of the boy at first) is 100% supportive if he wants to continue the island challenge or not

Alolan teacher Yuu after learning of Riddle's past and post overblot incident, they are considering preparing all the necessary arrangements and documentation for adoption and adopting Riddle, he deserves someone who truly cares for him and doesn't make him a puppet to satisfy her own ego.
