Hi peagnut, I have a little question. What do you use to make the 3d models?

hi!! i use paint3d with a graphics tablet (with a screen) but the graphics tablet isnt really required for 90% of the model. ive also actually started rigging them in blender!

I don’t like it when people love Shen Jiu but talk shit about Yue Qingyuan.

Were they not both abused in the same place? Were they not both quite literally slaves? Did they not both suffer immensely?

People talk about how much Shen Jiu has suffered, how he is a perfect example of someone who was unable to break the cycle of abuse, how he deserves to get healing. But in the next breath will talk shit about Yue Qingyuan for enabling and covering up the abuse that Shen Jiu inflicted.

It isn’t just because of his guilt. Yue Qingyuan is not just some corrupt authority figure. He is a perfect example of how fawn is just as much of a fear response as fight/flight/freeze. His entire personality is shaped around not rocking the boat, around treating people with kindness, around avoidance. The person he feels the most indebted to displays so much of the same behaviors as the man who abused them both. Can you imagine how painful that feels? How terrifying that feels?

Of course he would do everything he can to appease him. He loves Shen Jiu, and wants him to heal. He feels guilty that he could not save him from the abuse they both endured. He also probably cannot handle Shen Jiu’s behavior without feeling some sort of fear response. And thus he does what he learned could save himself: Treat the person as good as you can as to try and soften the blow you’re bound to get.

you blink quickly in an effort to stay awake, but as you cuddle closer to their side, you realize the battle is not easily won. the sheets are soft and fluffy, you bunch some up in your grip and bring it to your nose, enjoying the flowery scent of the detergent. you haven't gotten to smell it properly earlier, not when you were face down in the sheets moaning out your lover's name. it was a custom request to have it scented like that. Avery thought it matched well with the brilliant bouquet of flowers they had gifted you earlier. you smiled at the memory, it was sweet.

its quiet between the two of you, but a comfortable silence. the hotel's tv plays old reruns of some old reality show, one you've never heard of before, but Avery seems to enjoy it, every so often chuckling at the dialogue.

you cling tighter to their arm. you wish it could be like this all of the time. no fancy dinners, no fancy parties, just you and them. because it's nice, really nice! but you know well it can't be like that, not with Avery's work schedule and social responsibilities. but maybe one day you can have this, every night. not in a hotel, but Avery's house. your future home, you hope. it won't be today, nor tomorrow, nor this month or the next. but one day, you hope. but, for now, you'll enjoy what you can have in the moment, you decide. you bury your face in their arm, content.
