Got tagged by @tinknevertalks and @sarcasticsciencefictionwriter and fianlly got around to do this, so thank you (and sorry it took me so long)

1. How many works do you have on ao3?

72 apparently :D

2. What’s your total ao3 word count?

244.448 - whew that was a pain to add up. But it is also scary from other points of view (but also fun) so worth it.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Sanctuary the most though I did some other stuff as well historically speaking xD.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Keep in mind the kudos are 100% based on how big the fandom is I guess so hmmm not sure it's fair. Here it goes anyway:

Mysterious Ways - Fleabag with Fleabag/Priest which is the only fic I wrote in that fandom funnily enough.

Confessions - La Casa de Papel with The Professor/Raquel

Reunion - same

Five Times Randall Came Up With Vermish Theories And One Time It Got Confirmed - this is The Order with Vera/Hamish and yeah it's basically the kids finding out their sexy boss is fucking (around) with someone they shouldn't but it's The Order and not Sanctuary for some reason :))

Meeting Someone Big - Again Vera/Hamish from the order and funnily enough this is one I would have done a lot better if I were into werewolves but I'm not so it turned fluffy and yeah xD.

See? 5 of them and none Sanctuary it's a good thing I don't write for kudos because I would have been pissed otherwise. I mean I loved these when I wrote them don't get me wrong but... Sanctuary is my baby ok. It's just that it's a very small fandom so yeah.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes I mean come on people do their best to leave them (never got nasty ones not really) so it's the least I can do

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't do angst not on ao3. Should have been Love in Perpetuity I started that one wanting to kill Helen but it's not ended because I couldn't bring myself to do it so yeah does it really count?

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Either The Secret Beneath The Ice or Dear Stranger I guess (I mean Teslen is basically either engaged or with kids at the end so yeah)

8. Do you get hate on fic?

Not really

9. Do you write smut?

At some point I did it enough that it had kinda become my go to thing xD

10. Do you write crossovers?

Did my share of those as well

Yes - London Miracles got translated into Russian partially.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Oh I did a lot more than that only not on AO3 xD. Me and some other girls had a porn writing club if you can call it that? And we did some Teslen stuff together. It's on fanfiction.net because we didn't know about ao3 at that point and at least two of us were hormonal teenagers and that's pretty much the only excuse I have for it existing xD. Look it up on your own risk

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

Teslen all the way

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?

Pffff that's a lot of them. London Miracles is the one I feel the worst about because I liked it but I haven't written in ages for it so not sure I can start over. Plus I am taken mostly writing wise for the next year so yeah. Not optimistic about this.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm better at writing dialogue than anything else (which can also get to be a major pain sometimes)

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I hate descriptions with a passion especially if it's clothes (filled under why the hell did I sign up for some stuff Jesus Christ)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Me or other people? xD. I know like 4 languages in various degrees but I could get some sentences written in all of them. But French is too cliche, Romanian who the fuck speaks that, Dutch... well doesn't make sense with any of the fandoms I am in (except one but that's not fic writing material I said like the biggest liar in the world) and English is what I am writing fics in in the first place.

Other people writing this? More power to them :). Though if they mess up Romanian (which is the only one I know well enough to know if they do) I would gently point it out.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Tom and Jerry crossover with Chip and Dale. I was like 5 and I shipped Jerry with one of the squirrels not sure what that says about me xD.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

The Admins Know Better. Ooor Feather-Like Messages. They're the most me fics I ever wrote (as in they have a lot of stuff I like, I mean the first one is subtle but I know and this is what matters).

1. Who is your favourite character in 2?

Hmm. Stiles or Malia, depending on the day. By the end of the show, probably Malia, if I could bring myself to properly watch s6.

2. Who is your least favourite character in 1?

That’s actually really hard, if we’re going by the rule of least favourite not meaning most hated. One that’s still liked but not as much as the others. Uhhh. UHHHH. Idk. Idk. I mean, I don’t like Angel, but that’s more an actual distaste than a least favourite thing. Maybe Willow? Like I like willow. I love willow, I’ve written fanfic from her perspective, but I also think she can oft times objectively suck. So probably willow. She’d probably be at the bottom of the list of my favourite characters - still favourite. But least.

3. What is your favourite episode of 4?

I hate questions like this lol, how am I supposed to remember that. Idk, man. I thought s5 had a pretty good finale but I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite episode. Also, I’ve only seen 7 seasons, so I couldn’t say for certain that there isn’t an episode later on that will overtake the spot of my current favourite episode, if i even had one in the first place. I liked the Cassie episode. I liked 1x02. I liked any episode with Lisa in it. I liked Anna’s episodes, generally. I liked repeated tuesdays. I liked a lot of the episodes, mostly earlier on. I never pay attention to the names of episodes, which isn’t helping matters. I liked the ep where dean got turned into a vampire, I thought that was well done. Liked the episodes with Rufus in them, those tended to be written decently. Liked Victor and his episodes, they were on a whole pretty good standard. Liked the s4 finale for the most part, i think. Been a hot minute. I’m just- I’m not good at these things, man. One of the more dean-centric ones, probably. I’m predictable like that.

4. What is your favourite season of 5?

Mhmmm. Not sure. Really liked all three of them. Forever salty the show got cancelled, they were really going somewhere with it, felt like the thing could’ve gotten way more mileage. But that’s netflix for you. First seasons are always a bit rusty while they get into the swing of things, but s1 of SCD was really solid work. s2 was in the swing, and really good for it, on the exact same level of quality as the first, solid TV. s3 was just as great. Idk what to say. They all appealed equally. Not many shows can say that, is the praise I’d give.

5. Who is your favourite couple in 3?

Vermish (Vera/Hamish) suffers the hinny problem of being a good ship with a terrible name. Either way, it’s my favourite. Mostly, I’ll admit, by default. Most of the pairings in The Order majorly sucked. The main couple also managed to be my least favourite, which is awkward when they’re the defacto main characters in the ensemble cast, and we see the most of them. Alas. (to clarify; the couple we see the most of. Not the people. I did much prefer one half of that duo than the other, though which wasn’t helping matters.)

6. Who’s your favourite couple in 2?

Canonically speaking, Stalia, hands down. Non-canonically speaking, I tend to write mostly steo, with some hints of maleo/staleo, or alongside malira and scydia. But I’m a multishipper at heart, and I ship most things. it’d be easier to say the ones I don’t. However, numbers don’t lie, my top ship is stalia. I’ve got fics in the double digits to prove it. And fanvids on top of that.

7. What is your favourite season of 1?

Hard pick, that. s1 is a bit rough and much shorter, so it’s failed before its began out of not really counting. s2 has too much bangel and s3 has too much cheating on my favourite early seasons peeps (Oz and Cordelia) for me to be thoroughly entertained and not heckling the main characters at every turn for being terrible people. Season 4 is a bit messy and i’m not super fond of it, but it has some really, really good episodes. 5 is depressing and 6 is depression. 7 is a good finale, but does a lot of stuff I’m not really fond of. I’d say 6 if not for the demon known as Seeing Red, worst episode ever. So, maybe 3 by default, since all i’m doing there is heckling Willow and Xander once they do the dumb shit they do, I still get to see Oz and Cordy before Oz fucked off and Cordelia got. That. Storyline in ATS. And I did like Xandelia and Willoz enough prior to the Bad Behaviour that it balances out the Bangel that’s sort of present, and I think Faith’s trajectory is pretty well handled. So, 3, I guess. But s6 has Once More With Feeling.................... nope. Seeing Red. Fucking Seeing Red. Ruining everything like always. Damn you, Seeing Red.

8. What is your favourite episode of 5?

Again, I don’t remember any episode names whatsoever, or even really the order of events most of the time. There’s a reason I always have the wikia timeline open when writing time travel fics. Honestly, I’d probably be able to give reasons for why every episode in this show is my favourite. It’s just all around too good to have one.

9. What is your favourite episode of 2?

Pls stop giving me episode questions I am but a woman of short stature and equally short memory (I am 4 foot 9 inches tall. My memory is reminiscent of that of a goldfish.) But i actually remember some teen wolf episode names lol. s1 has a pretty good finale (1x12?) and 2x09 (Party Guessed) is a pretty good episode. s3 is on a whole some of the strongest of the show. Motel California is a good episode, 3x20 is a good episode (that run of episodes up through the finale is actually great. 3B was just super solid.) Um. s4 had some decent eps in an overall otherwise shoddy season, s5 is fun for me personally because I like to make Stiles suffer. Novel Approach, Lies Of Omission, etc. I couldn’t say which for certain is my favourite episode because I don’t tend to have those, but probably one of the ones I actually remember. Oh, also s2 had a really good finale, too.

10. How long had you watched 1?

Since I was six years old, babey.

11. How did you become interested in 3?

Saw it on netfix one day. Witches werewolves, secret societies, everyone’s at university so there’s no excuse for shitty decision making from being a teenager and a good cast (except that one person but that’s fine. there’s always that one person.) Sign me up, bitches.

12. Who is your favourite actor in 4?

Mhmm, tossup. I’ve actually met Crowley’s actor at comicon, he’s a real nice guy. Very good actor, too. Also the only one I’ve seen in other media - I don’t really remember Dean’s being in Smallville, lol. Jensen’s a very good actor, though, of course, I’m just bad at seeing people and knowing who they are. But technically there have been many buffy actors in Supernatural. The actress for Fred (from Angel The Series, which counts to me as a buffy series since it’s a spinoff) was in one episode and she’s awesome and adorable so I’m a bit biased, there. She was a mother of a kid in one of the early seasons episodes. In Faith, the only episode name i actually remember for Supernatural, the actress for Darla plays the girl Dean spends a lot of time talking to, i think she had cancer or something? Anyway. Yeah.... so, buffy actors being in SPN skews the scales. Probably either Crowley’s actor or Dean’s, though, going purely from SPN.

13. Which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?

SCD has the misfortune of being half the length of 1&2, and 1&2 being incredibly nostalgic shows for me. Objectively it’s better than Teen Wolf, though. I’d say Buffy is my favourite, then SCD, then Teen Wolf, but in order of which i’m most likely to rewatch, Teen Wolf, then SCD, then Buffy.

14. Which show have you seen more episodes of; 1 or 3?

This isn’t really fair. Both shows are over but The Order (which got cancelled >:| netflix i’m coming for you) only got 2 seasons, while buffy had seven, last i checked. So Buffy by default. But I’ve seen all of both shows, so they tie on that metric.

15. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?

Dear. God. Can I abstain?

16. Would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?

Not really no. They both have their own mythologies that showcase the same things (witches/werewolves) in entirely different lights/methods. The mechanics of werewolf transformation are different, and the nature of witches are different across both shows.

17. Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely ok couple.

Hmm. I’m not really one for crackships/rarepairs in buffy, I’ll admit. I’ve actually paired up buffy/faith/tara in a fic of mine, though, does that count?

18. Overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?

19. Which has the better theme music, 2 or 4?

Teen Wolf. I don’t remember SPN even having theme music (music in the intro sequence.)

I cannot see suddenly. I cannot read. Ugh. Fine. I’ll put my glasses back on. Um. Idk. Like I really don’t know. Like I don’t remember any episode titles ever and shows tend to blur into one big Plot Blob in my head. Did x happen in y or was it b and did c happen in z or was it w or was w actually when h happened did that happen before or after x and does that mean x was actually in w and h was in z so c was in y but maybe actually no i know y was after z because j happened before h and-

pls don’t expect me to keep track of things like this...... i am but a slightly sieve like brain having human being.

Here’s the thing about relationships in The Order (if that fandom is still alive)

They’re bad (most of them anyway)

Queerbating

It doesn’t matter that we got a half-assed 2 minutes long lesbian relationship if it got terminated immediately and sprung out of nowhere and half of that relationship literally got sent to hell; also both members are POC

You can’t make hamish and randall kiss out of nowhere and put that much feeling into it if you’re not going to go through with it even if their chemistry was off the charts (like the kiss me or the we had to had to or he wishes??)

Overall I think The Order just has a problem with relationships (both straight and queer ones, though I do enjoy Hamish x Vera and/or Hamish x Randall, Randall x Gabrielle and Nicole x Lilith even if it was shortlived)

Exhibit A: Randall and Lilith. Why was that ever a thing? Just... just no

Exhibit B: Jack and Alyssa. They are for some reason the main couple yet they are mostly on and off and it’s not even entertaining. No one was surprised that they are each other’s love interests, but everything about them just gets so repetitive. Halfway through you’re just annoyed they’re not together. And even then you’re not enjoying it. But they are the main heterosexual white couple that got way too much screentime

Most of these problems would be resolved if we had got a season 3, but sadly we’re left with this mess.

THE "TALL GLASS" SCENE: A FURTHER ANALYSIS

episode 2x03, fear itself, part 1

as we can see in this first scene hamish is wearing a vest. what happens next? vera comes him and asks him to bring her something in a "tall glass" in her office.

next thing we know a very euphoric and satisfied hamish arrives at the apartment where all the other knights of saint christopher already are. but the vest? it's gone!!!

and here it is, few scenes later, found by lilith between the object stolen from the order's vault ;)

guess we all know what this means, don't we?

you ever try to figure out the little details in scenes, like finding all the hidden Mickey or Easter eggs? or just notice something different or particular that gives more insight on a scene/character?

so with the last? episode of The Order on Netflix

Ive been trying to figure out that conversation between Vera and Hamish

when he’s like “it’s alright to let someone care about you” 🥺

and she’s like “there’s no point” 😒😔

at that moment I thought there was a single tear that fell down from Vera’s eye and it was difficult to tell on Netflix

but after watching some fan vids it’s trueeee

another sign of how Vera truly cares for Hamish: it hurt her that she had to push him away because letting him care for her, even if she wanted him, would only lead to heartbreak because she is dying from Fors Factoram

So, The Order isn’t getting another season and my heart completely sank when I read the news. I feel like there was so much more to explore still!!! I wanted to hear more about Vera’s past. I wanted to see her and Hamish together. I wanted to learn more about Cassie. I wanted Gabrielle to be a proper part of the Knights and get the found family love she deserved. I wanted Randall to feel like they were the Knights again and be happy. I wanted Jack to either get over Alyssa or for them to actually make her character likeable. I wanted Lilith’s storyline completed (we barely saw her in season 2!). I wanted to find out more about Alpha. I wanted The Knights and The Order. I wanted season 3!!! Heartbroken.

Vera & Hamish soulmate au headcannons

Combination of a prompt from @bakulka and @gingersimasnapsandvermishthings where upon making contact with your soulmate, you relive moments of their past

Who's ready for some angst????

Let's get some background on exactly what past angstiness is all about

Síma is, and I say this with all the love in the world, an actual demon mainly because of the suggestion that Hamish was an unwanted child. GIRL, I-- so yes, we will be running with that :)

So there's going to be some instances where Hamish's mother was an outright bitch to her son and straight up tells him that she never wanted it (gosh why am I always jumping down his mother's throat???? It's because she's a rich bitch, isn't it???)

Don't worry, I'll try to think up some painful memories about his father.

On Vera's side, there is the very obvious death of her daughter, but I'm gonna take it up a notch for this au and call attention to how everyone around her responded to the entire thing. Losing your own child is bad enough, imagine being 16 and having to face a close-minded community after that? I mean,,, does my girl even get any sympathy or is it gonna be all about how she was asking for it and she should have known better??? I mean COME ON you can't look at Vera and tell me she's this hardened on the outside only due to her daughter's death.

In any event, let's move on.

My babies grow up lonely. They leave home as early as they can and say a big fat fuck you goodbye to their families.

I say this with all the seriousness I can: I'm 100% sure both of these idiots have the ability to consciously halt their thought process.

So their moment of first contact occurs outside the den, fighting Kepler & Co. but due to their extreme focus on protecting the den, both of them actively ignore the onslaught of past memories.

And it just never comes up?? They just never bring it up with each other?

Then there's the whole pulveris memoria business and Hamish has no clue about any of it so he's genuinely not suppressing anything at all -- but Vera's got lonely moments where she sits with nothing but her own thoughts.

And there's her old memories that she tried to bury deep down but there's something else? A different kind of pain that she can't identify? Now and then, without warning, she's struck by the sudden fear that she doesn't belong, that she has no right to be where she is, that she was unwanted as a child and she is unwanted now.

Side note, how do you think Hamish felt when Cassie told him that Tundra CHOSE him?? Like,, Tundra WANTED him for his champion?? Do you think he cried? Being wanted for the first time in his life? Do you think he and Cassie sat for hours together, talking about it?

Speaking of Cassie, whenever Vera thinks about her daughter and allows herself to mourn a little, she's got this underlying sense of grief that makes her want to blame herself. But she doesn't know how to deal with it. She's processed her daughter's death by now. She knows better. She doesn't blame herself the way she used to. So why is there this lingering urge to berate and blame herself for a death?

Then Alyssa gives the Knights their memories back. Then Hamish starts to feel it too. One day he sees a little girl running to greet her older sibling on the campus and for some reason, the sight of her with her glitter skirt and bouncy pigtails tugs achingly at his heart. Or during his monthly call from his dear old mother, he manages to overlook the unwanted feelings -- he has a new family now -- but there's this new feeling abandonment? He doesn't get it, because he's long since written his mom off. She's not family to him anymore. If anything, by now, HE'S abandoned HER. He feels cast out despite that never being his childhood.

It goes on like this until Lilith brews the potion for them. While Vera is just confused about these strange new feelings (obviously tied to Hamish's memories) Hamish has just been slapped with an onslaught of memories, breaking through every barrier he'd ever created and every memory he ever buried beneath lies of being okay. It's his horrible childhood, losing Cassie, falling for Vera, all at once. But then the new and confusing feeling click into place as a barrage of new memories hit him. Vera losing her daughter, being treated like an outcast, having to fend for herself, slowly losing trust in the individual person . . . all at once.

And it almost breaks him.

He's softer with Vera, now. Almost apologetic for her deeds. Jack doesn't get it when Hamish says he understands Vera a little bit. Jack's hung up on being betrayed by his soulmate.

But Randall gets it. Lilith gets it. They've both known Hamish long enough to know what he says isn't always what he means. But Lilith isn't that great with soft reassurances. She's who Hamish goes to when he needs tough love. So its Randall who talks to Hamish and figures the whole thing out.

Hamish wants to come clean to Vera, but he knows her now. He can calculate the way her mind works. And he knows that she is cut from the same cloth as him. She's buried her own and his memories behind a wall even she can't break.

He has this ongoing internal debate right until the Prometheans and every painful memory in Vera's life springs forward. But so do all the memories she got from Hamish.

(Am I breaking canon? Possibly, it's been a while)

When they next meet, it's quiet. Hamish can tell Vera has something on her mind.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want to break your already fragile walls."

"Hm."

And they don't sit close. And they don't hold each other. Not for a while, anyway.

Which is fine because they're both afraid of new memories resurfacing that neither of them want to deal with.

Until the urge to be close is greater than the fear of facing each other's past.

It's a hesitant touch, but with it comes forth happy memories, which is a pleasant surprise.

The day Vera's daughter was born and she fell in love for the first time. The moment Hamish realised that Tundra had really CHOSEN him and he was worth something. The day Vera was made Temple Magus and she was just so happy to be respected and to have a place where she belonged. The days Hamish met Cassie, Randall, Lilith and Jack and anyone else in between and realised he has a family who loves him with or without any special abilities and just because he was Hamish.

And it's so so so refreshing from the horrible and painful memories that they share that for a moment, they just sit together, explaining the memories and just . . . slowly falling deeper in love with each other without even noticing.

And each time they make contact after, it's a short blur of a few memories. Happy memories, sad memories, joyful memories, angry memories. It all depends on their moods when it happens. Luckily for them, it's mostly memories of being loved and accepted and wanted.

When Alyssa and Vera say that Hamish is leaving and he grabs her hand, Vera's struck with memories of blame and grief at losing Cassie because he wasn't there. She has to squeeze his hand remind him that she's not Cassie and he's not the young kid he was when Cassie died. She'll be okay.

And at the end, when she grabs his hand to tell him to stay, they share the same memory.

The day they fell in love.
