Vincenzo is actually so funny. Five minutes into being in Korea he gets kidnapped and robbed. This is the same man wanted internationally for being the second in command of the Italian Mafia. Like this shits a comedy
If you started dating before Vincenzo, he would definitely be terrified of making you upset and he would always blame himself if you were mad, even if you say he did nothing wrong.
He needs reinsurance about everything. So at first when you start to dated he would be so nervous, in a cute but sad way.
He has PTSD BAD from his brother and he is scared he will mess up and make you hate him.
But this man is super romantic! Fancy dinner, clothes, jewelry you liked at the store on your bed when you get home. Rose petals everywhere wine bath drawn if you had a bad day. Even when you say he doesn't have to do all this and all you want are cuddles he thinks you are lying.
It takes a lot of work for him to be completely comfortable with you and to trust you all the way. But it's worth it.
Now if you start to date after Vincenzo is in his life, he will have more confident, but will still act like a puppy sometimes.
Still so romantic tho, if you say you like it you will have it by that night.
He will still be a little scared but not as bad, just please don't yell ever at him.
He will do everything you ask. Cuddles? You got it. Your favorite food at 1:00am? It's yours. Will treat you like royalty.
Will try his best not to get jealous but he does. He still stuffers with thoughts that he is nothing. So when that happens he gets sad but will not tell you until you notice that he is acting weird and then he will tell you.
This is the first video I've uploaded in A WHILE, but I have a lot of projects still in the works. Some Vincenzo videos, a couple Killing Eve videos (if I ever finish them) and one for Nirvana In Fire. Maybe also Midnight Mass? And as always, my heart resides in the Guardian fandom.
Anyway, if you're still here, I appreciate you!!! And I hope you like my videos!!!
I’m just on episode 4 of Vincenzo but I’m already obsessed with this concept. I have to tell you, when I first saw the opening sequence of Vincenzo setting fire to a whole property, killing three men and blowing up a car, I thought the show was going in a totally different direction than it went to.
Which is not a bad thing, to be honest. We have plenty of movies and shows with lead mafia men who are gritty and violent and are always ten steps ahead of everyone else. You know what I had never seen before? A show with all of it but that also features the same lead man being a total loser.
Not in the “he’s poor or shy or a failure” way, but in the upmost simple meaning: Vincenzo is brilliant at times and deadly, but he’s also, undoubtedly, fucking dumb.
He falls trap to a scam within his first minutes back in Korea, he’s petty with the food the Italian restaurant serves, he knocks himself against every piece of furniture trying to scape a family’s quarrel, screams out in Italian like a madman every time something goes wrong. He fights pigeons that hover over his widow, wears fancy robes while living in a ridiculously small apartment and fights teenagers to convince them not to smoke.
He’s fascinating and a walking contradiction and that’s what keeps me going back for every episode!
