1. Connie is the Amy Santiago of the office, Dorothy is OBVIOUSLY Jake Peralta, Portia is Gina Linetti, Henry is the Rosa Diaz, Alex is the Terry Jeffords, Treville is Captain Holt. Monty can be Charles Boyle. 

2. Dorothy and Henry always lean in too hard on creating false identities for a case. Their storyboards often take up much of the whole office, until Alex puts the kibosh on it with a limit of “write out only the top twenty personal details, the rest should just be improv”. 

3. Anne, a flashy and heroic Lieutenant promoted to another department, is Dorothy’s idol, much to the chagrin of her more cool and collected Captain Treville; until Dorothy realizes how Anne’s playing favorites, love of public attention, and muddying the ethical waters to achieves success has poisoned her legacy and caused problems for people like Alex, who are responsible for cleaning up the messes she made on her way to fame and glory.  

4. Portia womans community outreach, public safety campaigns, and holiday parties for the station. She works hard for Treville’s much-sought-after approval, usually with Monty’s assistance. Several of her campaigns focus rather heavily on Henry for a time–he’s just too dashing in uniform, perhaps? 

5. Dorothy falls in love with Connie the first time she sees her cleverly trick a perp into unloading his entire scheme while on videotape. She then falls a little harder ten minutes later when she sees Connie left the last powdered sugar donut on her desk hidden under a napkin.

for example (though I think they haven't done that many problematicTM things as far as I remember - unless we're talking about the cast which I know very little about). I love those ridiculous kids so damn much. But in general, we should talk about the times when teenagers fuck up and “call them out” on it so that others can learn that some behaviour is not okay etc. but that doesn't mean that those kids are suddenly evil and irredeemable. I think good example of that is Druck/Skam and it's variations where the teenagers are doing tons of problematic stuff - cheat on their partners, say slurs, being low-key misogynistic, homophobic, racist or islamophobic etc. but often the show itself calls them up on it to say hey we know this behaviour is common but that doesn't mean it's good and you should educate yourself and do better. But the characters are never shown as evil from now on, they are multidimensional and yes they fuck up and should know they fuck up but ultimately they should be allowed to grow and learn from their mistakes and we should not hate on them for few mistakes.

#12. Is there an episode above all others that inspires you just a little bit more?

I’m taking this as meaning an episode of the source series. So Inuyasha........ um.... obviously the river scene episode so that’s 165? I think. But I do really like the land between worlds arc, too.

#37. Talk about your current wips.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhh I just counted and I have 12 wips.... I’ve only published four of those: Sastruga, Human, To Live, and A Thousand Times.

Sastruga (Eye of the Storm series): my baby, how I wish things could go. Best case scenario SessKagu AU. This series is also the longest of all of my works and includes 7 of those 12 wips. In total this series is looking at probably an end total of 12 different installments, a mix of oneshots and longfic. It’s a lot....

Human: The idea for this one has been in my head for...... 10 years? HNY was the thing that finally got me to publish it, even tho it’s not totally fleshed out. While this one is one of my Kagura is the mother theory fics, its going to be a lot darker than anything else I’ve written. It’s my coping-thru-violence fic

To Live: my take of what could have happened if Kagura hadn’t died at all. Things don’t go exactly the way they want, but they make do with what they have. I do have an idea of a manga serialization to proceed it, but haven’t gotten around to it. All I really card about was what happens in To Live anyway, you can imagine what would have happened during its prequel on your own. Chapter 2 is going slow, but it’s going!

A Thousand Times: fun little idea I had that could turn into a longer fic, but is gonna stay as a oneshot until an actual plan for it hits me...

here is a recap for the uninitiated

Out of that list, the most likely calamities are “my brother reenacts a declined plot for a Hangover sequel” and “the inlaws decide not to come”. Both are still legit risks.

But in addition to said list, my dad has decided to have a whole flock of canaries about his BABY leaving the nest. So, that’s likely to result in some entertainment.

As I said to one of my coworkers today, I am somehow the family member LEAST likely to fuck up this wedding and idk how I feel about that.

Kala and Wolfgang or Will and Riley

Honestly - Will and Riley. 

I love Wolfgang and Kala but something about Will and Riley flip-flopping from Season 1 and 2 with healing one another’s trauma/being the light in one another’s darkness was more attuned to my heart than Wolfgang and Kala’s “BUT SHE’S GETTING MARRIED, BUT HE IS A KILLER ” angst.
