I've been weeding the garden for the last 2 days and my hands look sooo nasty, I maybe should have been wearing gloves. Not only I managed to get dirt stuck so badly under a fingernail that my entire finger got inflamed and upset, but parts of my hands are now permanently black, cannot wash it off, and the skin around my nails is torn, inflamed and messed up, some of it is bleeding.

However I am very satisfied with my work, strawberries are free of weeds and flowering, some tomatoes are transplanted outside, I have space to plant the peas, potatoes have started coming out of the soil, my hands will just have to get over this and grow thicker skin hehehe.

#i'm looking at my hands like #what happened to you #but it was just clayish soil #because i failed to take care of the garden last year #due to very bad mental health #there was so many worms though #and i have seen and touched so many weird bugs!#so basically the ecosystem is thriving #it was just very overgrown #and i can't have that because the wild plants are leeching all the nitrogen from the soil #but now they're all being composted #and will return the nitrogen #it will all be well

ok i wasnt gonna post anymore tonight but i just went on an emotional journey ok so i recently went and found an old fic recommendation that a mutual recommended years ago and started reading it and was like This Feels Familiar In The Bad Way. I look at the ending and realize ah yes i have definitely read this before because that ending is what pissed me off enough to write my own long as hell fic in middle school btw that i have long since abandoned but oh wow isnt that something ! but oh the fic’s been orphaned now, but I could’ve sworn I’ve seen more recent fics from the author, and I mentioned them in my own abandoned fic so i’ll just look them up to see what they’re up to now! anyway its minecraft youtuber rpf

In such a weird spot right now, very much debating a reblog sideblog

I know tumblr is all about "reblogging is good for the ecosystem!" which, yes! Reblogging is such a help for art! But at the same time I am one of those people who doesnt follow people who reblog too much because I get stressed out easily when there is too much stuff on my dash to catch up with. Which leads to me missing out on some cool peoples art. And I KNOW I am not alone in this mindset

I am currently trying to keep a balance between 'reblogging enough to get attention on smaller art posts' and 'not posting enough to cause people to unfollow me' but ah, thats hard....

PLEAAASE EMMET MEETING A MINI INGO HE THOUGHT WAS HIS NEPHEW IS SO FUNNY. Imagine him turning up at Dawn/Akari's house and her mom is the one who answers the door and he's like "I am Emmet. I think you have my nephew?" I don't know if it's funnier if Ingo and Akari are out adventuring so he has to make awkward smalltalk with Akari's mom or if Akari's mom invites him in and calls the kids down and he hears his brother's voice scolding Akari as she runs down the stairs(he is runningdown after her)

He's been mentally preparing himself for this the entire way there, but it never occurred to him that his nephew might not be home when he arrives! The Champion's mother tells him he's out with Akari at Lake Verity, checking out some of the local Pokemon there and that they should be back by dinnertime- do you want to stay until then?

So Emmet makes small talk with Johanna until they come back. He hears them approaching- ah, his nephew is just as loud as his father! Actually he sounds a lot like Ingo. Well he does resemble his brother verrry much, so that shouldn't be a surprise! But then the door opens and his nephew walks in, and he just...

...stares at him. Tilts his head.

"Emmet?"

And Emmet squints. Stares at the kid. Something clicks in his head.

"...Ingo?"
