your tags are the eeverything ever im on my laptop so i cant sc them and add them to the post but believe me i would and if i remember later i will. youre so fucking RIGHTTT its the condensation of the story into LORE into 'big streams' or episodes and in part thats bc of how the fandom treated lore and how it got turned into a big Thing that has to be very Streamlined and its a Lore Stream (yet they wont. plan it 😭) and Aurgghhh its pretty sad. but atp id rather actually see season four retconning than have to sit through another HUGE EVENT ON THE DREAM SMP!! (DEATH) (DRAMA) and then have no follow up on it

TBH I feel like everyone being busier definitely contributes to that bc like the Burger Plotline was supposed to be several streams over which we would likely have gotten a lot of little moments and interactions that showed us a lot about the characters and that had to get condensed to a WRITTEN STORY...

So it would not surprise me at all if there was supposed to be a lot more in-between but it kept getting condensed into five streams, then three, then One Big Stream simply because it's so hard to get everyone together now. Like that's why I think they need to be wrapping things up because if it's that much of a hassle to get multiple people on the server at the same time then the thing that made the story so interesting is sort of already gone at this point? Not that it was only interesting because people streamed Daily but like, that sort of "improv lore" that Tubbo always says he misses can't really come back because nobody is ever online enough for it (and when I say Nobody I mean rarely any people that have been here long enough for c!Tubbo to have history w them)

So like I do think part of the reason that lore has been so sparse is because of scheduling, it isn't Only that but what could have been several streams gets condensed into one huge stream where so many things happen that there isn't really time for the characters to react properly and we don't get to see any of the aftermath because they don't log on... In a story about grief and humanity we aren't getting to see c!Tubbo grieve or be human much at all, because if he logs on it's either for Lore that has a clear goal in mind and not a lot of time for us to see into his mind or it's just to mess around and we don't get to see his character's thoughts/emotions then anyways ...

There is nothing wrong with "big event" lore streams but at some points it sort of seems like events are planned just for the sake of having a "big event" happen and not because they actually make sense for the characters involved.

Idk I know it's easier said than done but if Wilbur has sat down and written out an ending that he's slowly working his way through at like 1-2 streams per month I feel as though others should look to him as an example, like I wish they would sit and genuinely assess "How much fun am I genuinely having doing lore CURRENTLY (not in the past), how much free time do I have right now/am I expecting to have," & make a decision based on that

#^ also w the Improv Lore thing... ppl have said before that it was a lot easier to do in the beginning of the server when ppl didnt have a #ton of characterization yet and thats very true. but also I feel like the term ''improv lore'' has sort of been twisted into something it #isnt. like c!Eret's betrayal wasnt improv lore. cEret and cWilbur planned that. They didnt have a Script #and they didnt tell other ppl so the Lmanbergians reactions were genuine... but that was Planned Lore.#the election results were not really ''improv'' because they had different plans based on what happened. the festivak and nov 16th were #planned. like everyone wants ''improv lore'' but i dont feel like a lot of ppl including Tubbo realize that big lore events are rarely ever #improv. ''improv lore'' is mostly for characters having little interactions or doing side-plots. cBeeduo building their hotel was improv #and it didnt go anywhere..... because improv lore rarely does. its sort of supposed to be self-contained to a couple of streams and if it #isnt then you need to actually Plan how/why it will be relevant or it doesnt really go anywhere...#so to me Tubbos plan to ''log on and see what happens'' aka to try and do mostly improv lore doesnt seem like it will work #asks #negativity #this is not cc critical again its their characters and they know their lore plans and schedules better than i do #long post

BE NICE #static.soundz #sorry that last post was so directly inspired by seeing someone go can u guys be nice he is on a fucking nutbag schedule. which he is.#i dont think some people understand the insanity of comic production. and how much it takes a toll on you.#many have said and i will say it too: comics is a killing industry. it is a beautiful fun job. it is fulfilling. it will also destroy you.#the most common and easiest to use example is in fact the manga industry. they want chapters in a week. 20 page type chapters in a week.#A WEEK!!! and currently look at things like webtoon as well which also expect the same amount of pages. in a week. an issue in a week #is an insane demand. it is an unreasonable demand. it is scheduling that leads you to a crash and burnout and health issues #because it is fully finished polished pages. as much as i poke and complain about how some things look there #i am also highly aware of production schedules. even if some styles are not my taste that still doesnt mean it isnt insane work #and it's the same in american big industry comics too. it isnt weekly demand the way those are. but it's still an intense schedule #you are working on pages and can get behind years before those comics even hit shelves.#and as it becomes more individualized too as we lose the team element and work becomes more one person doing all pencils and inks #that schedule is a lot. it just is. it doesnt matter if theres more time in comparison to other parts of the industry #the point is that it is all very demanding and exploitative. there is a drive yourself to your grave mentality here and i've had ppl try #to shove that mindset onto my and my peers which is the worst thing possible to encourage. highly alarming and disheartening to encourage #impressionable students already so worried about making it to drive themselves to an early grave. abuse substances to get through work.#work excessive hours while you still can because when you hit your 30s youre gonna lose that ability #become bitter and prepared for rejection as opposed to success because this industry sucks!#it's just such an unhealthy depressing mindset. i've had more artists preach the exact opposite as that and more ppl have been trying to #shift over to valuing your time and health. but still a lot of people are in that other mentality. and it's very very very sad.#i am only a student doing very low stakes homework for classes. i have no industry experience. and i still get it taken out of me #to do fully fledged out pages in my style in one week. this is also just a thing for me bc certain personal factors just make it hard #but still. comics are fun. they are fun. they are fulfilling. they will lead you to so many fucking issues if you are not highly careful #there is a reason why so so so many fucking comic artists have very well known issues. why you hear about so many ppl with substance issues #artists with very poor mental health. when you are in comics this is how it is.#i am glad there has been a big shift in recent years towards taking care of yourself as an artist. and that more ppl try to value it so tha #things can hopefully change at large in a broader sense. but please remember. we are an exploited chew up spit out industry too.

while I’m hyperfixating on my own ocs I was hoping I’d have the mental energy to do 2 more mini comics like the one I posted the other day but 1. Abt the girls costumes 2. How chimera anima work in the tm2 lore (which might contradict canon, oops?? Can totally write it off as queen doing experiments on them so they work differently now I guess…) but my three week long hyper mood has exploded and fizzled out bc I woke up sick :( and now I have no energy and I’m mad abt it bc I have literally 4 wips aside from the concept of those comics which I haven’t even sketched yet and I barely have energy to do things I need to do, let alone draw ☹️

I have to slowly destroy my carefully curated sleep schedule that took me years to develop so I can work night shift come monday and I am devastated

#i usually wake up around 5 am without alarms..... now im killing it #this isnt some anti people who stay up late/sleep in thing btw early morning is just the schedule that works best for me #but now im killing it!!#which means staying up until like 3 am today....#that's also why i was posting art at like 11 pm i was trying to stay up ajsjdl #I'll do it again tonight prepare for fuxkin. 2 am drawings

hihi idk if youre taking requests but i had an idea for leah kinda inspired by sockgate (💀)

so basically r plays for arsenal and theyre having kit photoshoots but the kit person accidentally forgot r’s (obviously the photoshoot isnt in colney) so she has to wear leah’s kit because r’s number is 5 and leah’s is 6 so it would be easier to edit and change the number like on the shorts (just say they didnt take any photos of her back because it would be too hard to change the name or something) ANYWAY leah is eating it up seeing r in her kit (especially if it’s like kind of big on her)

and then idk how you want to end it but maybe after the edited pictures are posted, leah cant help herself and also posts the original ones where you can see it’s her kit or something

"leah catherine if you make us late again you're sleeping on the sofa tonight!" you yelled out impatiently, checking the time and rolling your eyes. "two minutes babe!" your girlfriend called back as you groaned in disbelief.

"they're dressing us and doing hair and makeup there leah, what is taking you so long?" you dropped your bag to the ground and stomped off to the bedroom. "no don't come in i'm-" you pushed open the door and your eyes widened at the sight in front of you.

"tell me that you are not doing a soduku right now." you spoke deathly calm, eyes locked with hers and narrowing. "would that make you feel better?" leah questioned with a charming smile, sat on the corner of the bed.

but the tinkling of her game gave it away as your eye twitched slightly and leah laughed nervously. "leah, i will be waiting in the car. if you do not join me in exactly two minutes, that thing you've been wanting to do?" you stated as leah nodded along.

"you can do it to yourself and this-" you gestured to your body. "-will be off limits, for a week." you warned seriously as leah scoffed and went to speak.

"a whole week williamson, shift it!" you cut her off sternly, turning on heel and marching out of the bedroom hearing your girlfriend trip over with a curse in her haste to hurry.

"ah fuck." you heard a thump and before you could even open the car door leah was skidding to your side, grabbing it for you. "after you darling." she grinned as you hummed and slid inside, tossing your bag in the back as she hurried around to her side.

"babe why aren't you dressed?" leah frowned as she returned to the change rooms, having finished with her own media promotion and asked to let you know they were ready for you now.

"they didn't bring my kit. there was a typo on the schedule and they thought less was coming so they've got 23 and not 5." you sighed in explanation as your girlfriend took a seat beside you.

"they just told me to wear your kit, 6 is easier to photoshop to 5 since its one number and not two like 23 is." you shrugged as leahs eyebrows shot upward. "leah." you sighed tiredly at the familiar look which settled on her face as she sat down beside you.

"be an adult and go change, now please." you ducked away from her arm which attempted to slip over your shoulders, standing up and crossing your arms across your chest. "have i ever told you just how sexy you look when you're pissed with me?" leah sighed with a dopey smile.

"yes. you make a point to remind me every time you grovel after you've pissed me off!" you threw a towel at her head and sat back down at your cubby. "no, go change baby." your foot shot up to press against her as she stood and attempted to get closer.

"reminds me of a different position baby, one i quite like." leah grinned wolfishly as she pulled your leg to sit on top of her shoulder and kissed your ankle with a wiggle of her eyebrows.

"you already made me late once this morning and you're doing it again. go and change leah please!" you groaned pulling your leg back and sending her a stern look.

"i know you think this is going to work but this whole annoyed look-" leah wiggled her fingers at you "-is just making it all the more harder to leave you." leah smirked as you rolled your eyes and exhaled deeply.

"alright alright! i'm going. a girl knows where she isn't wanted!" leah spoke dramatically clutching at her chest, ducking down and stealing a kiss. "unless you'd like me to just change here and we can-" leah started to suggest but a dead panned glare had her grabbing her bag and hurrying away toward the showers.

"here you go then sunshine." a bundle of clothes hit you square in the face as you'd started to daydream only a few moments later, leah changed back into the clothes she'd arrived in.

"you are so-" you stopped yourself, leah sending you a smirk and sitting down on the bench. "eyes and hands inside the ride at all times williamson, i'm on a schedule." you warned as you started to strip off and change, feeling your girlfriends gaze locked onto you.

"leah!" you huffed as you pulled her shirt down over your head and her hand smacked against your ass. "what? it slipped babe." leah shrugged with an innocent smile as you rolled your eyes and pulled on her shorts having to roll the waistband a little so they didn't hang so low, already having your boots and socks on.

"wait! you're missing something." leah shot to her feet as you fixed your hair and turned to leave, pausing with a raised eyebrow. your lips couldn't help but curl into a small smile as leahs own pressed sweetly against them.

"sap." you teased, pecking her lips a few more times before heading out of the change rooms hearing her follow after you. "behave leah." you warned seriously as she held up her hands with a wink and you pushed your way into the media room.

"well well well if it isn't our newest number six!" beth teased as she finished up and immediately noticed that you weren't in your own number. "call me vice captain." you grinned, hugging her as you swapped positions and she spoke briefly with your girlfriend before leaving the room.

"so we're mostly shooting graphics for the screens and the lineups today, some celebrations, some serious shots. we'll do everything forward facing since there was some...issues, sorry about that again." jessica the marketing and media admin smiled apologetically.

"you're just lucky i was around to save the day jess." leah chimed in as jess shot her a playful glare and stepped back, calling out a few poses as the photographer snapped away and you moved between the different backdrops.

much as you tried your hardest to stay focused there was no avoiding the shit eating grin plastered on your girlfriends face as she sat back with arms crossed, eyes laser focused on your every move.

leah wasn't shy about how much she adored you, that was given by the constant teasings of the pining looks she threw your way during trainings or the not to subtle kisses she stole what felt like every few minutes.

leah was even less shy about how much she adored the sight of you in her clothes. early on in the relationship she did find it somewhat frustrating how you'd sneak off with her hoodies or shirts or pants hidden away in your overnight bag.

but seeing you wander around colney with what leah knew was her nike hoodie covering your top half had something stirring in her stomach she couldn't ignore.

your girlfriend by nature could be possessive, though most times it never came from jealousy knowing you were just as much as infatuated with her as she was with you, but rather that solidifying assurance that you were hers.

so as she sat there seeing you take picture after picture wearing her name, number and jersey leah was grinning ear to ear and there wasn't much which could be said to wipe it off.

"all good?" you questioned once it seemed things were wrapped up, sending both him and jess a thumbs up and stepping away, boots clacking against the hard cement floor and shaking your head at the look on leahs face.

"don't say it." you warned, snatching your jacket out of her hands and making a beeline out of the room as she hurried to follow you. "leah!" you laughed as she caught up and grabbed your hand, pushing you against a wall.

"you're like a horny teenager." you chuckled against her lips which immediately ravaged yours, her hands gripping your hips as you cupped her face and deepened the kiss.

"baby girl you know what it does to me to see you in my clothes, let alone wearing my last name on your back." leah pulled away and shook her head, making a mind blown gesture with her hands causing you to laugh again and shove her.

"we're at work miss williamson, be professional." you booped her nose and darted away as leahs kiss met thin air and she watched you dissapear into the change rooms.

"oh but miss williamson all my thoughts right now are strictly unprofessional." leah sang out happily with a cheeky grin as you shook your head. "no ring, no wife." you patted her cheek and held up your empty hand causing leah to now shake her head.

"oh no no no, no need to change my girl." leah swiftly grabbed your bag, stuffing your clothes back in and slinging it over her shoulder, holding out her hand for you to take with a sly smile.

"its time for me to make our new number six feel very very very welcome."

☆ He might only bring a lightstick, not those extra banners or signs or whatever

☆ The only reason why he only brought a lightstick was bcs, he treats your concert like its his monthly/weekly routine

☆ Youre having a 2 day concert in seoul? You know damn right he'll be there despite his busy schedule

☆ Having a concert in japan? Finds a way to get to japan just to attend your concert

☆ so thats why he didnt feel like the need to bring extras cs in the end, yk hes gonna attend anyways

☆ but that didnt stop fans from screaming whenever they saw yeonjun

☆ he'd probably try to make a conversation with your fans while waiting for you to perform with your group

☆ you wonder, what did he made? well...he made a banner, your photocard that he printed himself using his company's printer, candies of your fav and pastries that he had bake

☆ believe me or not, he woke up as early as 4 am just to make cute little pastries as your concert take place in morning

☆ he believed your fans wouldnt get breakfast, so he baked the pastries for them 😭

☆ as soon as your concert starts, he whipped out his phone so fast and record it and whenever you came on screen, hes like "wahhh theyre so pretty"

☆ when you start singing, he starts crying???? hes way too proud of you that he starts crying and vent to his friends sitting next to him

☆ "you know how hard my baby worked? im so proud of them, i remember them crying every night to me because of training and now look at them, theyre on stage now"

☆ receives the freebies until it couldnt fit in his little bag that he brought with him

☆ as soon as the security lets everyone inside, he'll be running just to get close to the barricade

☆ since hes an idol, i know its ridiculous but he'll be surrounded by 2 of his protocol team 😭

☆ like when your group tells the fans to jump, beomgyu would convinced his protocol buddies to jump aswell

☆ hes a bit dissappointed when he founds out that he wasnt the first one to arrive at the venue, he was like "2 hours before the concert starts, and theres alot of people waiting..." poor him, he thought he was the first 😭

☆ he'd show up with his mask on and a cap as he didnt want the fans to know he came to see you

☆ but that kinda failed as your fans started to notice his famous boba eyes in the crowds

☆ this made him open his mask, since theres no point in using it 😭

☆ before the concert, he texted, 'i'll be on the middle row, 3rd line from the front!!'

☆ but he decided to go extra as he thought you'd forget to see him so yk what he did? he brought glowing light sticks with him to make him more noticable 😭😭

☆ when you noticed him, you gave him a heart and him being a fanboy of yours, he started giggling and bragged to his sisters, "did you see that? they definitely gave that heart to me"

☆ after the concert ends, he'd ask one of his sisters to take photos of him doing cute poses whenever youre on screen, like him doing a big heart whenever you show up on the screen

☆ fans found this cute as they started uploading his leaked pictures doing those poses

Avery is an insomniac.

Moon is easily frustrated and becomes very aggressive when people dont get adequate sleep when they're supposed to.

Can't imagine how that could go wrong💀

Oh for fucks sake.

The lights were out, having suddenly plunged you into darkness.

You were just starting to get used to Sun over your past few shifts after finally meeting him, and now you were presumably going to have to face Moon unprepared.

With the stories people told about him and why to avoid him, you were immediately on edge, skin prickling with anticipation and senses feeling heightened and sensitive with your newfound lack of sight.

You cursed and fumbled for your flashlight, shaking slightly and almost dropping it with your anxious hands.

Despite not being able to see, or even hear, anything, you could feel his eyes baring into you pointedly, making you feel like prey being stalked. You would say it felt similar to the eerieness of being observed by Sun, but no. This felt much scarier - Darker, almost. Not just unsettling.

Your fingers press into the flashlights button desperately, other hand tightly fisted by your side, painted nails digging into the fabric of your glove.

The white cone of light immediately illuminates the area at your feet, and you quickly sweep it up to look fully at the area in front of you.

Nothing.

Just a dark, empty playplace.

No attendant to be seen.

You will yourself to look harder and scan each inch of space before you diligently, squinting into the void.

A light jingle of bells and a raspy snicker sound behind you all too late.

Before you can so much as turn around, cold metal and silicone hands slam you against the security desk, your wrists held behind you in a bruising, clawed grasp and the side of your face forced to press harshly against the surface of the desktop.

The solid body of what you could only assume to be Moon was bent over you, caging you in.

He relaxed rather quickly, almost releasing you as a gentle yet devious laugh left him. It seemed to reverberate through the whole of his casing, rumbling and edged.

"Someonessssss up past their bedtime~"

...

He leaned in closer to your ear, taking his hands fully off of you now.

"This isnt your shift. You need to sleep. Otherwise, thats breaking the rules for when im hereeeee"

His voice sounded dangerous, the low growl of it making you shiver.

You tried to gather some courage, and twisted your body fully to stand face to face with him.

"They needed me to fill in the nightshift here tonight."

You tried to keep your voice steady, watching him carefully as he took a few steps away from you, still keeping narrowed eye contact with those glaring red LEDs.

"Anyways... i dont think we've met before, Moon, since im pretty much always doing dayshifts here. Im-"

"I know veryyyy well who you are, little lamb. The sunny idiot has told me alllllll about you~"

His growling voice sounded lulling as he began to prowl before you, crouched like a

slinking predator in wait as he continued boring into you intently.

"...Including how you always seem tired during your shiftsss, and almost fall to sleep constantlyyyyy..."

You swallowed thickly.

You pressed your back to the solid security desk and followed his movements very cautiously.

"Well, regardless, im working as nightshift staff tonight. Which, if i know correctly, means you should not be trying to put me to bed. You know the nightshift staff have different sleep schedules."

That was indeed true, from what youd been told.

Moon was apparently stern with kids, but could be downright aggressive with adults, especially if they broke rules.

He knew the night staff were here to do their jobs. It didnt stop him from acting irritable towards them, but it still meant he didnt interfere with them unless they did something wrong.

Therefore,

He should not be trying to get you to go to sleep or whatever the fuck sort of bullshit he was trying to pull.

His low growl trilled its way into the empty air again,

"How cleverrr~"

He rumbled out a subtle sarcastic huff.

"But unlikeeee the regular night staff, you also worked here today. A little yellow birdie told me as much..."

He began to round over to your side. You followed him with the angle of your body, always facing him.

Having your back no longer at the desk made you feel much more exposed.

"So youve probably not slept at alllll, sweet little starrr. And i dont take too kindly to naughty boys who refuse to go to sleep when they should. Especially when it seems to be such a reoccurring misbehaviourrrr~"

You could feel your heart start to race as he crept steadily closer to you.

You backed away from him at the same pace. You felt if you tried to run away, youd merely be caught and dealt with, like falling victim to the prey drive of a predator.

"Um-M-my sleep schedule is of no concern to you. I need to do my damn job, Moon. S-stop trying to intimidate me!"

Your lips quivered relentlessly and your throat caught on every breath of air, making it hard to form the words properly.

He simply rasped out an eerie chuckle, a sound that bled into a much darker growl as he took yet another creeping step.

His eyes were still completely and utterly fixated on you.

"Im afraid i cant let this slideeeee, little lambbb~"

You heard the chilling tap of his claws on the edge of the desk as he continued to slink towards you, vaguely menacing.

"If you wont sleep on your own time like a f*c#i^nG adult, then i have no choiceeee but to put you down for a nap here like the naughty little boy youre actingggg likeeee"

You were starting to get frustrated with his bullshit and it mixed dangerously with your adrenaline and fear in your chest.

"FUCK OFF, MOON. YOURE BEING RIDICULOUS"

Your breath stilled suddenly as you realized what a dangerous game youd just accidentally played into.

Silence fell for a moment.

"My, my.... i think that requires a punishmenttttt for such a rude responseee~"

His voice was threateningly quiet.

...

"Now you better hope you can tire yourself out enough to fall to sleep like you shoulddddd so that i dont have to make it too harsh, little rulebreakerrrr~"

The word 'little' felt all too right as the giant animatronic loomed over you.

Agreeing to this had been the worst fucking mistake of your life.

A fear filled moment of shock held you in place for a hearbeat.

Then, when your feet finally shifted, you took off sharply towards the play structure.

A vicious snarling noise left his voice box, followed almost immediately by a borderline manic laugh.

You knew he was directly behind you.

The blood rushed in your ears.

Tears gathered and burned in your eyes.

A shriek gathered in your chest

...

But was unable to rip out of it as a large, chilled hand curled tightly over the bottom half of your face.

"I winnnnnn~"

His voice distracted you briefly as you snapped your head towards the rasp, only for you to be dragged unceremoniously from the play structure and hoisted into his tight grasp.

You struggled, panicking for a moment, but it was futile in his mechanical hold.

As you settled, you realized it was oddly comfortable, much gentler than his harsh strangle-hold from earlier.

"You got caughtttt, you little S#i*. That means youre going to sleeppp. Right. Now."

He hissed it out, almost spitting put the first sentence with his still very clear annoyance.

You were still so confused.

What the fuck had just happened?

The adrenaline from being practically hunted down, by what was honestly a very intimidating and presumably dangerous robot, was quickly falling away due to your extreme exhaustion. You felt like you were going to pass out, between your sleeplessness and having just had a (possibly) near-death, exhausting experience.

Your head was too fuzzy to comprehend where he may be taking you.

Suddenly, you were whisked into the air, and high into the still-darkness

"WHAT THE FUCK"

You jolted and instinctively clung to Moon with an iron hold.

He merely grumbled out a sound of amusement as his feet touched something solid again and he continued walking, parting what you assumed was a curtain.

Being carried through the pitch-black by a possibly-killer animatronic that just stalked you like you were his next victim had your fried, tired nerves still on end. But what else could you do other than hold on and hope for the best? And you would be lying if you said you hadnt had atleast a little faith that he wasnt as bad as everyone told you.

The room you entered was lined with fairy lights, making it possible to finally see again.

Unfortunately, as you looked up, you saw that Moon looked no less imposing in better lighting.

You were subsequently set down far gentler than you wouldve expected onto a soft collection of pillows and plushies in the corner. He promptly tucked you in with a blanket. You merely remained frozen, still immensely confused and exhausted.

Moon muttered as he stepped back slightly from your resting place

"If you wouldveeee cooperated in the beginning like a goooooodddd boyyyy i wouldn't have had to chase you..."

"I need to make sure the children are well restedddd and sleeping when they shouldddd.... and this also happens to apply to the adult staff too."

He growled for emphasis on his serious point.

You still felt faintly as if he were going to jump you.

The switch to this calmer, gentler persona had felt pretty jarring when he caught you.

It was clear to see that he just took his job very seriously and got easily riled up, but that didnt change the fact that he had scared the shit out of you.

You chose your words carefully, still cautious.

"Im.. sorry... Moon. You scared the hell out of me"

You couldnt tell if you were actually sorry or not, but you thought it best to try and get on his good side.

He rumbled out a hum in respose.

"How elsseeee am i supposed to get people to follow the rulesssss?"

You blinked at him, not responding.

"If you just agreeeeddd to go to sleep from the very beginning and apologised, we wouldnt have had a problemmm~"

He said it with an air of unbothered nonchalance.

You looked at him almost incredulously.

You had your job to do!

You couldn't have just agreed and gone home to sleep!!

He was a whole new breed of stubborn to assume that doing that was okay just because *he* wanted you to.

"You chased me!"

You blurted out.

Curse your anxious oversharing that kept getting you in more trouble.

"Onlyyyyy because you took off instead of listeningggg and going to sleep."

You huffed.

You know you shouldnt have, incase he got provoked again, but you couldnt help it.

Atleast you hadnt spoken about any of the other points you ought to bring up.

He seemed unamused.

"Nowww go the f*U#k to sleep."

He spat out, growling once again.

You thought better than to challenge Moon again, and closed your eyes.

Your insomnia and lingering adrenaline fought you, but as you heard a gentle music box accompanied by a soothing hum, your exhaustion prevailed and allowed you to fall into sleep.

Candle Light Meditation: The Peculiar Treatment for Insomnia, Irregular Sleep Patterns, and ADHD

Hi everyone! Today Im writing about a new meditation trick Ive been testing out and Ill be sharing how to do it if youre interested.

Why I chose to do it

While I may like to do old man things, sitting at home and watching candle lights werent really my idea of a good time. However in the past few weeks Ive had really big issues maintaining a healthy sleep pattern and Ive always struggled with ADHD and getting school work done. I was told by a buddy of mine about mindfulness meditation and that has helped my adhd in the past so I figured this was worth a go!

Candle Light Meditation Craze

If you go to google or youtube youll certainly find all kinds of gurus and spiritualists suggesting this meditation will "decalcify your pinal gland" which would be something impacting most of us around the age 18-30 depending on diets and things like that

Here is the issue THERE IS NO RESEARCH TO SUGGEST THIS PRACTICE DECALCIFIES YOUR PENAL GLAND. So to say if that happens or not is not my place. Im a dude who posts bangers on the internet, not a neuro scientist.

What it did do

Despite the research not being there. I can tell you in the few days of doing it I have noticed my focus has sharply improved. My fatigue isnt so bad either. My sleep schedule hasnt improved to much yet but hey! Im a college student Im busy chatting and making friends (doing essays lol).

I believe some of these symptoms are associated with the pinal gland but again, I have no idea. All I can tell you is I do eat frozen foods often and this did help. I dont have a CT scanner in my room so beyond that I have no idea lol.

How to do candle light meditation

Grab a candle, light it and turn off as many lights to get the room as dark as you can. Try to use a candle with a still flame and turn off fans aswell.

Try to focus on the most solid part of the flame for a few seconds up till 3 minutes. You ideally want to do this until you feel a fuzzy feeling in your head.

Turn away from the candle and close your eyes, you should see the imprint of the flame, stare at that for as long as you can until it goes away.

Try to do repeat process 3 times a day (in one setting) for 5 days. Usually by 5 days you should begin to feel a strange tiredness in your mind. This is what your looking for. You are overloading that part of the brain because its not really being used. Much like trying to run for the first time in a few months.

The end result

Around day 5 you should find yourself being able to focus more! Ive also heard some people report it helps them with creative writing aswell but I cant attest to that.

anecdote

i have to give my all to everything i do. this year i’m taking all honors courses an AP’s, as well as balancing sports, my hobbies, etc. staying motivated where i can take care of my grades, athletic performance, health, hobbies, social life and all that has been a challange, but i’ve learned that willpower and motivation can make you do almost anything. (i edited this part cuz when i originally wrote this post it was during ninth grade so it was really old lmao)

building willpower

find your motivation- WHY do you want to work so hard? you need to have something that you’re passionate about that continues to push you to work hard

pay attention to how you feel- although my schedule is rigorous, i feel so much better going to softball practice then just coming home at 3:05 and spending the rest of my evening doing nothing. it’s important that i reflect on this feeling to keep me going

find a balance- when you’re working hard you need to still work on taking care of yourself. find time to do things you love and take good care of yourself. working 24/7 isnt healthy either. you need balance

surround yourself with positivity- surround yourself with good influences, indulge in content that betters who you are and your mindset. healthy body healthy mind.

celebrate your wins- be proud of yourself! when you accomplish your goals, make sure to take time and be proud of yourself

takeaway

building willpower comes from consistency. you’re not going to feel motivated all the time, so you need to learn how to work even when you don’t feel like it. focus on how you feel, self respect, and be mindful. always remember that your actions turn into habits. so be mindful of the choices you make everyday.
