The Miss W.I.T.C.H. poll results are out!

Between the reboot talk and the writing of my fic that is consuming my soul, I almost forgot about the Miss W.I.T.C.H. poll results coming out today!

THANKS everyone again for voting, the numbers were above 200 also this time, making me happy that there are still so many of you out there!

At the last places, we have LUBA, YAN LIN, SUSAN and NERISSA. Despite having received less votes than the others, these ladies all deserve us to kneel and bow in front of their magnificence - and also because let's be honest these four together could conquer the universe without even looking and we're all scared of them

Then we start with the girls: TARANEE, IRMA, CORNELIA and WILL.

I know, it's difficult to choose among them and they are all wonderful, but this time they could not compete with the two favourites of the fandom: ELYON and HAY LIN!

It was a really close match and they have been fighting really hard for the second place, but in the end Elyon - although she has clearly a place in the Tumblr fandom's heart - could not equate her brother's achievement in the other election and only made it to the bronze medal. Time for big bro Phobsey to tell his little sister all his secrets of slaying in these beauty contests!

And so at the second place we have HAY LIN, I'm so proud she got so many votes, I would have expected Cornelia to get the most among the five girls, but Hay Lin has definitely conquered the fandom!

And now, it's time to announce the winner... I cannot believe you really made it happen and gave her the justice she deserves!

Who would you say is your favorite character and your favorite ship in W.I.T.C.H.?

1. Fav character

- Elyon. She has the power to create *and* destroy. The way she approaches magic like she does her art, pretending to erase something and it disappears blew my lil 7-yo mind - none of the others’ elemental magic came even close.

Ofc if you tell me to choose from the Guardians alone, then Will. My favorite little crybaby with self-esteem issues <3

2. Fav Ship

- My absolute favorite is Elyon x Caleb. Which surely would’ve upset my friends growing up who never got over Caleb and Cornelia breaking up; but I quite enjoyed their implied growing closer-ness, and when the Caleb special dropped, I was over the moon. There’s always been something about how like… sure, Cornelia dreamt of him first, but Elyon’s magic helped Caleb go from whisperer to person with his own will; without her, he would not exist as he is. And something about that just… interests me. It’s a very unique angle.

I also very much enjoy Cornelia x Peter and their will they, won’t they dynamic, Taranee and Nigel’s bully and bully victim story, Orube and Cedric’s mutual bitchy banter, and ofc my lil child self could not get enough of Will and Matt’s drama

H. au. if Lilian Hale was the Heart of Earth in comics as a teen (14 years old) Cornelia and the others find out about her magical powers. on her birthday Chris Lair gifted her a diary. they're good friends but they're feeling that they're in love with each other. also she visited Orube's home planet and become friends with her student Ulima, also Lilian revived Cedric when she heard of Orube is heartbroken of his death, hope I'll write more and write some short stories and I have a headcanon thet Lilian is Virgo. also I'll write her abilities later on.

Now..

A/N: This is a prequel to "A New College, New Friends" and Cornelia's POV

"Have you heard? a new student have transferred here yesterday." Girl 1 said"What?! I thought we already had Taranee a few weeks ago?! "Girl 2 said" Apparently the headmaster thought it was a good idea to enroll another new student here."Girl 1 said"I swear that headmaster... "Girl 2 said" But what was the new student's name? "She asked" Wilhelmina Vandom."Girl 1 said" A boy?"Girl 2 said"No it's a girl."

Little did they know that their conversation was heard by Cornelia Hale.

'A new girl huh? I'm pretty sure she's like Taranee, afraid of everything.'The blonde haired girl thought'But the name why did she have a boy name?'She thought to herself'Maybe it just a coincidence.'She thought to herself.

The next day in "New School, New Friends"and lunch time

At lunch Cornelia was with her friends Irma, Taranee, Hay Lin and Elyon They were talking a lot of stuff but not Cornelia she's still thinking about the redhead that was in science class. But she shook her head.

'Why am I even interest in this girl? She's just a shy tomboy.'She thought, only for her to see the red haired girl Wilhelmina " Will" Vandom-Durano-Starlighter.

"Will!" The asian girl said waving her hand catching the redhead's attention. Will blinks before leaving, wanting to be on her own.

"Hay Lin, you scared her.. " Cornelia said looking at the direction where Will left "I get her"The blonde haired girl said getting up and left going after Will leaving the others alone

At the school court yard Cornelia was searching for the redhead girl 'Jesus, where is she?!'Cornelia thought frustratedly as she tried to search for Will. and finally she found her.

Cornelia walked towards her with a blank on her face. " Hello. "Cornelia said catching Will's attention "Um, hi? "Will said awkwardly" You must be the new girl right? I'm Cornelia Hale. "The blonde haired girl said" Will. Will Vandom. "The redhead said awkwardly while looking at her, Cornelia noticed it.

"Will, I have to apologize about Hay Lin, I know she scared you but I have to let you know that she have good intentions. " Cornelia said as she sat next to Will who is looking away. Before she could say anything the bell rangs. "Well, I guess we talk later, I introduce you to my friends later? " Cornelia said as she standing up "Yeah,I bye Cornelia. " Will said and before she left"Will wait!" Cornelia said catching Will's attention "Yeah? " Will said in confusion "I was in the same class as you, I could take you there if you wanted. " The blonde haired girl said taking Will's hand and her eyes widened a bit.

'Her hand.. it's so soft and warm- wait what am I thinking?! She's just a new girl jeez!'She thought to herself little did she know that Will heard it 'S-she thinks my hands are soft?! oh god' Will thought embarrassingly to herself.

After Music Class

"Will, you alright? " The blonde asked concern for the redhead"Yeah, I'm fine"Will said. "Will! " A familiar voice shout, Both Will and Cornelia perked up and saw Hay Lin running towards them with Irma, Taranee and Elyon.

"We we're wondering when did you two take so long? " Irma said panting while catching up to Hay Lin who was hugging Will.

"Will! I'm sorry for scaring you this morning! " Hay Lin said"It's fine, but can you stop hugging me for a second? "Will said quietly but Hay Lin heard it " Oh right." and let go of her. "I see that you met Cornelia" The asian girl said prefering to the blonde "This is Irma" Hay Lin said prefering to Irma"Hello! "Irma said " This is Taranee. "Hay Lin said prefering to Taranee, the blue haired girl waved shyly at the redhead "And This Elyon Brown."The asian girl prefering to the straw-blonde haired girl. " Hi."Elyon said to Will with a smile on her face.

Hay Lin hugged Will "We're gonna be best friends for a whole year right Will?! " Hay Lin said excitedly to Will who was flustered at Hay Lin's antics.

"Don't worry Will, Hay Lin can be like that sometimes. " Elyon said to Will, remembering what had happened to Taranee."It's fine..it's fine"Will said, not knowing the strange look she got from Cornelia.

The heart wants what it wants, even if its desire is to gravitate towards an incredibly small fandom and ships with two fics on ao3, but if I have to choose between being mainstream and being happy, I'm choosing happiness every single time.

So, hello! I'm Mushroom, I'm an artist of sorts and I've loved W.I.T.C.H since I was like six years old. I rewatched the show recently, fell in love with it all over again and now I want to finish reading the comics, since I stopped when I ran out of issues translated to spanish. Thankfully all of those english classes paid off eventually and I can now use my newfound skills the way my parents and teachers intended: reading comics and fanfic. I am so so so happy to see this fandom isn't dead, and I can't wait to join in on the fun, write and draw and create and take a little bit of refuge from university life in my childhood comfort characters.

My favorite characters are Hay Lin and Taranee, I just find them adorable, but I really adore all five of the girls. I'm also a huge lesbian, and my little shipping brain can't help but apply a generous layer of gayness to the girls whenever I think of them, though I'm not sure if I have any one prefered ship (Will x Taranee is one I really love), so I kind of default to polyship all of them together. They're all soulmates in my heart.

An Adventure Time x W.I.T.C.H. crossover AU that I did in 2021. It would take place in the further future of Ooo.

Taliya (Taranee) and Ilma (Irma) would be descendents of X and O, Crystal (Cornelia) would be a water nymph that becomes an ice witch by the pelt of the Ice Thing, and Honey (Hay Lin) would be the child of Princess Bubblegum and Marceline.

Oh and Will is the LSP of the universe. Marceline gave The Heart of Kandrakar (which is a sword). It would be a sword that is powered by elemental magic.

just when i was thinking how ugly this week has been, i remembered that tomorrow ink and blood part 2 will start on ao3!

here the synopsis so you know what’s coming:

One year has passed since the take of the Citadel in Basiliade, and it has been one of the happiest in both Cedric's and Orube's lives. They have not forgotten about the threat they left behind on Earth, and they know Elyon will call Cedric back anytime to help her dealing with it, but the Queen does not give any sign of needing his help. Until their peace is shattered by an unexpected encounter...

Ideas for the inevitable w.i.t.c.h reboot to make it more mature based on my one abt winx club

Like my winx idea have them be in college 19-24

Make heatherfield a college town (with its main object is to get its students internships and mentor programs to get ready for the world)

Make will and Susan siblings (Have their relationship be very tense but also very close i.e lilo and nani or Fiona one of her siblings like carl or ian. Maybe have Susan already have william and have him be close in age with will. As for dean x Susan I was thinking of two options 1) have the relationship be young love but was cut off by life that ended in a child 2) have Susan and dean get married young and take in will I.e nathan and hayley james-scott)

Have Susan already have married dean and have them be like spike and snake from degrassi

as it is implied in the comic have will’s mom have a magical background even have Susan have will at a younger age.

Explore different family dynamics. Have the parents/guardians be in varying ages (Explore and show different ways to experience parenthood through the parents i.e adoption with taranee ivf with peter bad sex ed and misinformation about a diagnosis via will and her brother)

Mix the comic lore with the cartoon lore

have orube be taranee’s mother who was a replacement guardian after cassidy or yan lin took over the heart or a guardian group in between c.h.k.y.n and w.i.t.c.h to give the “every generation a new generation is called upon more weight to be clear in this situation orube would be Theresa she just legally changed her name as she came to earth

Make irma related to Cassidy on her birth mother's side of the family since they look alike

when we get wreck 55 singing the shows theme

Have Caleb be one of phobos whisperer’s but have nerissa bring him to life Pinocchio style like she did with astro drop will
