As you're a proper phd scientist who made it through the gauntlet of higher education, I then assume that you have done some classes that have landed you in a fly lab or two. Do you happen to have a favorite Drosophila melanogaster mutation? Mine is apterous because they're flies who cant do the one thing they're named for (they can't fly).

I managed to avoid the fly labs, but I had amazing lectures by the inimitable Dr Vernon French during my bachelors at the University of Edinburgh about evo-devo and Drosophila. No better way to develop a deep fascination with HOX genes and other transcription factors. Off the top of my head, I think Bithorax is pretty nifty.

Aka Lone wolf Jasper's commander.

She is a calm and well behaved agate that did her part well into blue diamond's court during era 1 and 2. She may was a bit disciplining, but always kind to her quartz soldiers.

She used to be annoyed with Holly blue bragging about how perfect she was and how lucky she was to serve a diamond like Blue.

Grape gave Night blue pearl to Lone wolf when he was around 10 000 years old. It was a gift to congratulate him for his thousands of years of flawless service.

The news of Lone wolf not being able to make it to the warp on time completely humbled Grape Agate. After the war ended, she planned to build the memorial hallway and Night blue's room in pink diamond's zoo. Ever since then, Grape came to visit the hallway often, but couldn't enter Night blue since she forbbade anyone to enter it, as she wished to mourn in peace.

i have GOT to get more insane abt lifeseries joel and grian. they’re so fucking everything. late game last life for them really is like the both of us are at our absolute lowest and can’t really be bothered to care anymore, but there is a kind of freedom in allowing yourself to pretend you’re a monster without remorse, to let yourself grow vicious in a way you’ve been trying to rein yourself in from. the two of them take each other hands, all grasping claws and sharp-toothed grins, and say monsters it is then, just the two of us. they just. they understand each other in a way nobody else quite does. the two of them settle together in limlife and,,, they can just feel the seconds counting down until their names turn red and the world grows sharper and they grow sharper with it. they’re comfortable with what they’ve got— jimmy and the bad boys and the bread bridge and all of that, it’s lovely— but there’s an anxious, giddy anticipation growing between them and they can both feel it.

In my head a fight involving a centaur looks so cool but can I visualize that? Well I sure. tried

It's so easy to make it look stupid when it's a swordfight between a person and a centaur whose torso and arms are way higher. Logically a centaur would just trample you to death, quick and easy, but that simply doesn't make for good enough imagery here with everything I was trying to cram into this part of the song
