shadow never really expected to be with someone who was an overly affectionate person, he understands that the way you show your love is through physical touch and that's why he never gets mad or annoyed at you.

your hugs, kisses, and whenever you hold his hand makes him feel at ease, the skin-to-skin contact always grounding shadow back to the present and managing to reassure his messy mind that you're right here besides him and that thought would always make his mouth lift just a little bit.

shadow's ears would twitch when hearing footsteps nearing him and stands on guard until he notices that it was your footsteps and he relaxes. If anyone were to come near him and hug him so suddenly he doubts that he'd be able to act nice (he'll 100% shove them away harshly and degrade them.)

ever since meeting you, shadow has made sure to finish his mission/s fast and if he were to ever go out (ex. sonic bugging him to hang out with him and his friends.) shadow always brings you alone since the thought of leaving you all alone makes him anxious and unable to focus on his surroundings properly.

back to the previous one- shadow always makes sure that none of his missions lasts too long ever since he met you, he'd always come back running to your arms whenever he's finished his mission/s. your scent and the warmth you radiate always comforts him and lulls him to sleep, he could literally fall asleep in your arms even when he's beaten and bloody.

shadow isn't used to affection so it took some time to get him used to your behavior but MAN, when he was finally used to your sudden hugs- oh boy does he crave for it.

shadow could not last a day without any physical contact from you, It'll make him feel like something's missing and basically occupy his mind and make him fidget (very rare).

but! since you're attached to shadow like a koala, he never really worries about feeling off when you're not holding his hands, kissing him, pecking his cheeks, and literally all physical affection that exists.

overall, shadow is touch-starved and he loves how affectionate you are but only to him, he gets jealous easily so please mind who you hug <3

Hello! Do you think you could write a bit about what would happen if Shadow accidentally hurt the reader badly?

Also, I wanted to tell you I think your writing is amazing! I hope you are drinking lots of water and getting enough sleep♡

I'm not quite sure what did you mean exactly by write a bit, so I'll just take it literally and write a paragraph or two about it. So, Shadow's patience with you is nigh-unbreakable, so getting to that situation to begin with is thankfully for you hard. However, if you're stubborn enough to want to break the camel's back, it isn't impossible. In the very few scenarios where I can see this happening is if he's stopping you from doing something that would cause you harm (according to him anyways, and in most cases he's on point, key word: most). Maybe in an escape attempt from the only place he considers "safe" for you would end up with him breaking a limb or two if you resist too much. O maybe you're doing something rather risky and in his attempt to get you out of harm's way, you end up getting hurt anyways. If you want to see a scenario like this, I recommend reading @yanderegrizzsworld's "You Left me no Choice" for something like this anon! (also her writing is just great overall, so check out her stuff). As for the original question, well, on one hand he would feel incredibly guilty about it. He might not show it much but that's more on how stoic he can be rather than him not trying his best to make it up to you. He'll treat whatever wound he caused, big or small, and give you a sincere apology for it. On the other hand...prepare to get scolded, Shadow is going to make sure that this never happens again, but he also needs you to cooperative you know, he may even go as far as punish you, depending of what you did.

Overall, try to not give him a heart attack 'kay?

This genuinely has so much angst potential & I could talk about how each of the hedgehog's could at first believe that they're merely hallucinating at the moment because there's no way you're still alive— You can't be alive— & yet here you are, standing right in front of them, just as pretty & as charming as they remember, though you are covered head to toe in blood but they won't focus on that right now. How a silent laugh or a sudden cackle rises from their throats as their finger or hand or arm twitch to go & touch you, to feel you— Maybe, just maybe, you are here...

How Sonic immediately dashes to you at such speed that you barely process his foot initially lifting to him pressed against you, hands clutching you so hard you're incapable of moving if you tried. How his mouth— Just like his feet— move without pause nor end, each phrase & word blending & bluring into each other at such rapid speed you'd assume he'd just created a new language. How he claims he's sorry for not being there for you, not being there to protect you— But that's okay! He's here now, you're here now & he promises to never allow it to happen again, he swears!

How Shadow just stands there, staring— Almost contemplating about what he's seeing, is his mind playing tricks on him? Is he so lost in his grief & mourning for you that he's imagining you right there? Right here? Right now? How when you call his name— Whether in confusion or in calm delight, it doesn't matter— He's right here infront of you, a few feet away at first, then a few inches & now holding your wrist up to his face. How he slowly rubs his thumb in circles on your skin, your warmth radiating through his glove & into his palm. How he raises your hand closer to his face until you feel his breath hit against & through your fingers. How he presses his lips against your knuckles & just leaves them there for a while & you swear you see tears build in his eyes. How you feel him mumble against your knuckles, though what he says you don't understand, & that's fine, you don't need to comprehend him saying how he'll ensure you never leave him through death again.

How Silver appears stunned in his spot, but just as quick as he froze, his now tackled you to the ground. How his embrace is so hard— So tight— You feel like you can't breathe, you feel like you can't talk because of the lack of oxygen. How after softening his grip & you mutely gasp for fresh air in your lungs do you see the tears in his eyes, rolled down his cheeks & dripping off his chin slightly damping you clothes. How he can't seem to help himself & just peppers your face in kisses, equally as soft & swift as the last. How he's so glad you're here with him! How you'll never leave him again & he can't wait to spend more time with you, how he promises to protect you at all costs, even if it costs him his life, so be it! As long as you're here with him, it doesn't matter.

WARNINGS: incredibly brief mention of loss, very off handed. Other than that, none

NOTE: I'm back from my unexpected but very needed break. I hope you enjoy!! I have to thank the now deactivated babybluubae for providing me character analysis videos for Shadow so I could write him to the best of my abilities.

If I'm motivated enough, I might make a short drabble with the idea revolving around Shadow confessing to the reader.

◇ Being considered a friend by Shadow is hard enough, let alone for him to feel affection towards you; however it’s not impossible. To begin establishing any type of relationship with the ultimate life form, it requires a lot of patience as he has trouble opening up and letting anyone get close to him. In any case, no matter what scenario puts the two of you together, Shadow is never the one initiating a connection; unless the situation involves you working together. While not as charismatic and social as his blue rival, Shadow will talk with you if you approach him first. Albeit, his demeanor does make it seem like the two of you are at a job.

◇ While initially not friends, Shadow has a level of respect for you. Even if you’re a friend of Sonic’s or someone he comes across, he is polite to you whenever he does speak. He is also very observant; any sign of discomfort from you while you two talk, he quickly fixes. Whether it be his voice sounds irritated or he’s subconsciously furrowing his eyes making it seem like he’s judging you, he quickly changes it. Even if it’s a small talk, Shadow doesn’t want you to be uncomfortable around him.

◇ It takes a while before the two of you become friends and while he doesn’t outright state it, his behavior towards you speaks volumes; if you’re observant enough. For example, he maintains more eye contact, his posture is much more relaxed and will allow himself to smile ever so slightly when talking to you. And, as a friend of Shadow’s, Rouge will strike up a conversation with you as anyone who’s managed to befriend the hedgehog is a friend of hers. On a more obvious note, if Shadow notices anyone being rude towards you, he gets in between the two of you and tells them to back off with a glare. After they leave, he turns to you and tells you if they continue bothering you to tell him; he’s protective of his friends after all, it’s not like he would ever admit it however.

◇ Just as Shadow is the last one to establish a connection, he’s the last one to come to terms with how he feels about you. He’s never felt this way towards anyone before and he doesn’t know what it is. He admires you as a companion, that’s all. Right? Shadow contemplates about what he’s feeling and yet can never understand what it is; having to consult with Rouge, which results with the realization hitting him like a ton of bricks. He likes you, but he doesn’t know what to do with that information. Having that thought in his head constantly didn’t sound pleasant and walking up to you and confessing was out of the question. So in the meantime, he quietly accepts it and stays collected so as to not give himself away.

◇ Whenever he does see you, Shadow remains composed but his body language fails him. His ears perk up whenever he hears your voice, conversations last slightly longer, and light physical affection from you doesn’t result in him pulling away. Even if you were to drag him around anywhere, the only thing Shadow will do would be to hide the blush on his face with his hand. As much as he would never admit it, he’s quite smitten for you. Although he is more reserved whenever Rouge tags along, Shadow’s body tensing up whenever she talks to you in private while looking his way. Not to mention, once you’re out of earshot to hear their conversation, she will tease him for his crush.

◇ Eventually he does decide to tell you about his feelings as it would be better to get it off of his chest. He asks to meet you in private during one of his days off. At first the two of you have a casual conversation, as a way for Shadow to get comfortable. He originally never intended on telling you, and while he's been through worse he can't shake the feeling in his stomach. During one of the silent pauses in between your conversation, Shadow takes a deep breath and confesses. He states that while he does have feelings for you, he hopes you two can remain as friends. The confession was supposed to be just that, a confession; then Shadow could just continue on with his life without damaging your friendship. What he didn't expect was for you to feel the same and ask if he'd be in a relationship with you. After a moment to recollect himself, it takes a few seconds before Shadow agrees.

◇ Communication is something Shadow values a lot in a relationship, or what he would value as this would be his first. The two of you make your boundaries clear and talk to each other if there’s something bothering either of you. And if some unspoken boundaries were accidentally broken, the two of you talk about it. Being in a relationship is very new to him but he’s willing to learn. Shadow doesn’t know what being in one entails so he looks to you for advice on what he should do as your boyfriend. If this is also your first relationship, he doesn’t mind and doesn’t judge you for it. This can be a learning experience for the both of you. Knowing that, it also makes him feel at ease that he doesn’t know what to do in a relationship.

◇ He isn’t used to physical affection, giving nor receiving. Very early on, he isn’t comfortable receiving it, holding hands even being something he is hesitant with. However, as the relationship continues, the more relaxed he becomes, especially if you gradually introduce him to physical affection. It also shows a touch starved side of him which Shadow didn’t even know he had. A side that craved to be held and loved. Once comfortable, he’s still shy in asking for any sort of affection. As much as he wants to wrap an arm around you or hold your hand, he pauses which leads to you taking the initiative. He gets caught off guard and tries to maintain his cool by hiding his red face in his hand, but it’s very obvious that he appreciates it. Later on in the relationship, Shadow is the one to hold your hand in public or give you a peck on the cheek or forehead whenever he goes out on a mission.

◇ Shadow has trouble expressing his feelings into words, which is why his main acts of love through words of affirmation and actions. He does whatever he can to aid you and is always encouraging you, whether it be in your hobby, career or taking care of yourself. He also helps do chores around your place or helps you with whatever you need. Occasionally, when he has a free day, he will make you breakfast in bed with the help of the internet, as he isn’t the best cook; or he’ll prepare you a lunch early in the day with a small note before he leaves if the mission isn’t urgent. If you happen to want take out while he’s in town, Shadow has no problem getting it for you. Be warned, he will steal a bit of your food while the two of you eat together.

◇ Expect Shadow having less trouble talking to you over text or on the phone compared to in person. Forming sentences, especially concerning how he feels, seems like more of a challenge than over text; including saying ‘I love you.’ You can find him texting you that he loves you a lot, alongside a message to take care of yourself if either of you go out. He also texts with proper grammar and punctuation, making common texts seem somewhat threatening or passive aggressive unintentionally. As for other forms of communication, he likes leaving messages on sticky notes for you. Whether it be early in the morning before you wake up to wish you a good morning or a note to take care when he goes out, he loves writing them. Occasionally, Shadow draws a little heart at the end of his message or a simple ‘love you’. It’s just another way for him to show he cares.

◇ If you ever need comfort, Shadow won’t hesitate to drop whatever it is to be by your side. Even if it’s something you believe is small, he holds you and gives you the opportunity to talk if you so wish. He listens to you and offers advice or offers support if something bad happened to you, whether it be getting fired or grieving over a loss. If you’d rather sob uncontrollably or sulk in silence, Shadow quietly rubs small circles on your back while allowing you to bury your head into his chest or shoulder. He’s not experienced in comforting anyone, let alone himself as he just bottles up his feelings, but he tries a lot for you. He doesn’t leave your side until you’re better unless you ask him to be alone for a bit. To which, he will occasionally check on you and ask if you need anything.

Decided to write a headcanon about yandere Sonic, Shadow and Silver realizing that they are characters in a game that Y/N likes to play and that they sympathize with her.

(The events of the game are about the times unleashed)

The hedgehog, well revered that he is in the game, seems to be a little sad, because this means that his world is quite ... Small and not found the same as outside the monitor of the person who plays this game. However, he was always interested in those people who played his game with him, and went to his storyline. He was imbued with a certain trust in them, each time hoping that each player would go through the game to the end.

And you weren't exceptional.

However, the attachment to you turned out to be much greater. Of all the others, you were the most interesting to him. He leaves your tactics in battles, surrounded by surrounding worlds ..

And when you played for him as a werehog, he was more than satisfied.

Each time he became attached to you stronger and stronger.

That often, when you were about to turn off the game, the speedy hedgehog crumbled.

He didn't want you to lose, even if only temporarily.

He considered emptiness without you.

He couldn't tell you that he knows what's going on and knows who you are and why you're doing it.

Until he heard one thing from you..

- "Eh, Sonic, I really like you. Too bad you're not real.."

And the hedgehog mentally swept somewhere into the abyss.

Unhealthy behavior has become stronger....

He won't let you play other characters.

Only he. Only he deserves your attention.

If you love him, you won't mind, right? He loves you the same way, and is ready to all the inhabitants that he has to show his love and belonging to you.

You are special to him and always will be.

And every time you try to turn off the game...

She doesn't turn off. Sonic doesn't allow it. The maximum that is obtained is to minimize the game window.

Thanks to this, Sonic can watch you calmly do other things if you are distracted from the game.

He has unstoppable surveillance. But you won't notice it. For you, it's just the pleasure of waiting when there's actually a lot more to it...

That in the normal state, that there are similarities in the yandere. So this phenomenon, strange in its purpose, is not a very important matter, unless you are very observant.

He did not know that apart from his strange past, there is the fact that everything that happens to him is within the framework of the game that people play.

And when he found out the truth, it... It turned out to be a very difficult moment.

However, he became more interested, and he decided to find out who is behind the monitor, and who is playing the game, playing for Shadow.

And he saw you.

He discovered disdain, distrust, but over time discovered you better, it disappeared.

He... Loved you.

Occasionally, he takes it that way.

We all understand perfectly well that this is unhealthy love and obsession.

It does not allow you to hide the game.

He watches you the best he can.

Watching you sleep.

And often during such a passage, he does not think about the enemy, but about you.

During the boss, he mentally praises you for successfully passing all the tests.

He never discovered anything like this after Mary's death.

And feeling something similar with you..he's not going to let you go.

And when he realizes that the game is already coming to an end, very soon he will know that you like him as a character ..

He stated that he is not just a character, a living person inside the game who is ready to interact with you.

He won't let you go. And do not let go of the opportunity to declare yourself in a perfect computer way.

You didn't expect. Shadow turns his head in your direction and looks straight at you.

Silver

Silver is naive, and this is obvious.

But still, the fact that he is within the framework of the game and that somewhere under the monitor, because of the objects, there is a person who plays this game, his brain cannot digest such information.

He quickly tries to connect with the player.

And he sees you.

This is love at first sight?

Silver you are an incredibly beautiful and classy person.

He loves the time spent with you..

He likes the way you use his telekinetic powers. If it's hard for you to pass the level, he tries to use abilities imperceptibly for himself, helping and simplifying the level.

But he hates when it's time to quit the game. When you're doing other things and everything.

He is obsessed with all your attention. And easily jealous if you play for other characters.

He wants to be your boyfriend.

And when he finds out that you love him. He decides.... Carefully show himself. That he can interact with you.

Now that you know about it, you interact with it more and more. This is also encouraged by his manipulations. He sometimes just makes you spend time with him.

And he gets jealous very easily...

Now that you both can interact, don't think your life will be like sugar...

Silver is sweet, naive, and kind, but his unhealthy behavior can get in the way. However, as with the rest of the yandere...

And Silver never allows you to turn off the game, watching everything you do on the console / computer.

> silver latches onto you with a hunger because of your care and interest in his well-being. it's not that people aren't welcoming, or haven't been kind to him and blaze, of course not. there's been warmth aplenty in sonic's timeline. what sets you apart are the extra lengths you go to for his accommodation in a world alien to him and the love you display in different gestures: cooking him a sprawling dinner (a banquet of cultures, really!) or tidying up a place for him to crash at if need be; spending hours explaining history and the current state of affairs to a being completely removed from the context of modern society and common knowledge; finding time in your schedule to go places together and make albums of memories... the list could go on. you really tried your best for your friend - silver who'd never seen a tree or a valley or a flower... how could you not?

> you won't ever have fights with him. it's surreal and fantastical. he always, always has a hand in guiding you to a pleasant time. attentive and sweet and teasing, silver knows how to rile you up into feverish delight and how to soothe any nerves and doubts of yours. it's slightly unfair, actually, because at times you wish you could have the same tact and coolness he displays. whenever you express the want to make him happy he gets touchier and more joyful than usual, so you count that as a little win of yours. it is nice to brighten the day of someone who treats you fondly. and the tiny, furiously wagging tail is an endearing sight.

> your like or dislike for physical touch will define how he starts showing affection to you. if you're fine with it, silver won't hesitate to caress your back or shoulder, will lock arms with you on walks, and say goodbye with a peck to your temple. warm and strong hugs will be commonplace. you'll find yourself encased in embraces far too tender and embarrassing to remain cool-headed. and the average distance between you two will shrink every week. slowly but surely.

> if you are averse to it, he'll do his best to keep his hands to himself… though if you fall asleep in his vicinity, he'll slide a hand or two through your face and play a little with your features. it will be innocent enough to sate his need for your warmth. for a while. he'll get into the habit of playing with your fingers or tugging your clothes for attention. might develop a fondness for spaces full of people, if only to feel you leaning on him thanks to the moving multitudes. he'll also steal trinkets or inconspicuous articles of clothing that belong to you. he won't realize it, but not having your touch will starve him terribly, and he'll try to have his fill in other ways.

> you call him silvie and he's about to bust an aneurysm. his face catches on fire to the point he thinks it might be a heatstroke, and the real possibility of him fainting grows exponentially. he gives you a very personal nickname. some inside joke between the two of you. will whisper it only when you are both alone.

> he's devoted? dedicated? invested? in your friendships and emotional health. scratch that. like rotisserie chicken, his brain rotates worries about your daily life and physical and mental health to the point of burning itself to a crisp. he fears not having control over your joys. he gets literally sick ruminating on whether or not you are getting your due sleep, your due rewards, or your deserved love from those around you. he'll be a smidge too sharp on picking up changes in your mood and mentions of acquaintances and buddies and family. he probably has a journal with graphical maps on your relationships and other miscellanea. has filled up the margins with ideas on how to cheer you up and keep everything in check. whatever that means, or entails.

> HAHA if you get sick? if you get sick you'll sooner perish from silver's overwhelming presence by your side than from your illness. it's here that his obsession bleeds through enough to be alerted by. he gets super fussy over who's coming over and what you're eating. feels like it's his duty to schedule your time indoors and outdoors, and to make several lists of activities and meals and exercises for your speedy recovery. will have restocked your pantry and fridge with your favorite snacks and fruits before you know it (how did you know this is my fave, silvie? to which he replies: oh - isn't this what besties are for?) and areas such as the bathroom or your kitchen will be cleaned thrice as fervently. he's going to be around so often that you'll stumble across his toothbrush or his towel neatly organized along with your stuff. and yes he will give a subtle nudge towards the idea of being roomies, and having sleepovers, and movie nights, and so on. he won't be moving his stuff out even after you recover.

> anyway - silver is a protective, obsessive, manipulative and insidious yandere. your needs will most certainly be met when he's around and he'll try to elevate you into a lil pedestal while trying to improve your lifestyle in ways he thinks are the best. you won't have to worry about threats (eggman's or others') because he'll make sure you live in a peaceful and beautiful world. if he ever has to travel to accomplish this he'll make sure to return with a plethora of gifts and stories to share. but he'll worm and dig and root his way through your barriers and reservations until you rely on him, to some degree or other. he'll be... soft and good for you.

> and... you'll never have to know about all the screw ups in a different timeline. if silver has committed a chain of overlapping atrocities trying to monopolize your affection, how would you ever find out? you'll never know the depravities he has executed on others, nor the kind of abnormality he is a slave to. he'll always be just silver to you.

> so please, please, please. don't look at anybody else with tender love in your eyes. don't break his heart and make him crawl on his knees. don't make him screw the world over for a few crumbs of your time, and everything will be just perfect.

General Yandere Shadow the Hedgehog Headcanons

TW:  stalking, murder, kidnapping

Well, good news is, he’s not gonna let absolutely anything bad happen to you, so a toast for that. As for the bad news, he’s probably a bit too overprotective. Can you really blame him for that though? He saw his best friend get shot in front of him while he was powerless to do anything about it, so Shadow’s already on edge about anything that could potentially harm anyone close to him. It doesn’t matter at all if your relationship is purely platonic or more than that, whether just a close friend or a lover, he thinks you’re someone worth keeping safe. 

He doesn’t like to show that cares about you openly, mostly out of fear that if he does, others might see you as a weakness that they can exploit against him. However, when he’s not busy with a missions for G.U.N. or any world-ending crisis, he still works like your personal bodyguard from the shadows (pun absolutely intended). If he sees you in trouble, whether it’s just a rogue badnik attacking whatever it could find or an full-front assault from Eggman or any other villain to where you currently are, he’s ready to step in and save you. If you try to ask him how he found you so quickly, Shadow will just say that he happened to be nearby and saw you were in trouble, which is technically true but you don’t need to know much else.

Shadow treats you as if you were made out of glass, and while he doesn’t worry too much about his own wellbeing since he can’t really get hurt easily no matter how many risks he takes, he knows that those around him aren’t as sturdy as him. If you often get into accidents or dangerous situations where more often than not you get hurt, congratulations, you’ve earned an entire day of mild scolding and having Shadow basically babysit you. No, he won’t take no for an answer. If the reason you why you got hurt was someone else however, well, Shadow will never say a word about what he did that night after you went to sleep, and when you never see that person again, you think it’s best for you to not know.

Keeping secrets from him is impossible, so just follow the saying “Honesty is the Best Policy” to make life easier for both of you. If Shadow sees that you’re trying to hide something from him, he’ll pull any trick in the book to coerce you into telling him. If even that is not enough, he can always use other methods to learn the truth on his own. Regardless, he just wants you to feel safe with him, so he’ll feel frustrated and hurt when you try to hide things from him or even lie, no matter how big or small. Shadow doesn’t take that frustration out on you, but he does give you a stern warning that you’re just make things harder for yourself when you keep secrets from him.

It might not seem like it at first glance, and it might not be at the level of a certain blue hedgehog, but Shadow can be a bit of a showoff himself. He loves to see you depend on him, that you see him as someone that will always take care of you. Whenever you need help with something, he’s more than willing to assist you, and when you thank him, there’s a slight hint of a smug smile on his face. As long as it is between you two, he’ll appreciate each and every compliment you give him more than he’s willing to admit, and while he doesn’t really need it, the fact that you’re so nice of him has him develop an even softer spot for you.

Despite his seemingly sole desire to protect you from harm, Shadow can also be quite possessive. He’ll be subtle about it, but he’ll control who you can and cannot interact with under the pretext that they might put you in danger and that he’s only looking out for you, and while it’s not totally a lie, he’s also jealous and scared that you might find someone “better” and leave him. If he sees someone getting too close to you, well, he’s no stranger to foul play. Once they’re alone, Shadow will make an example out of them for others to know that you’re off limits. And you’ll be none the wiser to all of this, he knows how to cover his tracks perfectly after all.

Shadow’s breaking point is so easy to snap, it’s practically a ticking bomb. After all, he might be ultimate life form, but something can always happen, and he can’t protect you all the time when you’re out and about living life freely. When an incident eventually happens where you’re badly injured and almost dead, that’ll be the moment when enough is enough. Shadow clearly can’t trust the outside world to be safe enough for you to live in, and he’ll lock you up somewhere isolated and safe. Once you wake up, having recovered a bit from whatever incident hurt you that badly, you’ll quickly find yourself confined inside a tiny room where he can forever keep you safe.

If you think you have any chance of escaping him, sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s pointless, and trying would just annoy him. Of course, this hedgehog has the patience of a saint when it comes to you, and he wouldn’t use that strength of his to hurt you, as least not on purpose. It’s better to be safe than sorry you know? So long as you behave, nothing will happen to you, if anything he might take better care of you than yourself (Yes, I’m calling myself out on this one too). As much as he tries to convince himself, deep down he knows how wrong all of this is, but if it means keeping you safe, he’s willing to do that and more.

A.N: Hello dear! A little sleep-deprived, but overall alright, how are you?

Both hedgehogs are very aware of the fact very few can match them in agility & much less their stamina. As such, both retain plenty of patience with the others although Sonic did have to aid Shadow in acquiring said patience.

Out of both, Sonic tends to more often than not be the more antsy with your tiredness, at least in the beginning, whereas Shadow is the one to showcase more patience. Don't get it wrong, Sonic also exhibits practically the equal amount of patience with you, it's more so that in the beginning he was more likely to go into panic if he saw you sluggishness.

Shadow seeks to let you know that he doesn't find your lassitude to be a chore to sit through under any circumstance, opting to show & tell you that both he & Sonic are with you through & through. This is seen best when the ultimate life form opts to seemingly make your day/night much easier for you, be it ensuring you're eating well enough to getting the perfect amount of sleep necessary.

Where Shadow does things for you to ease your fatigue, Sonic is more keen on making you comfortable through physical affection. Anything from cuddles to soft kisses on the foreheads to light-hearted jokes, the blue blur strives to see a smile or hear a soft laugh to ensure he's doing something right. Don't be surprised if he uses your tiredness as an excuse to cuddle.

Both take any form of comment about your prostration as patent disrespect, even if you didn't hear it & are quick to scold & defend you. Although Shadow sees no issue in ending the conflict with giving a evident black eye to the other individual, of which he deems as the tamest action he takes.

Where the blue hedgehog might take Shadow's approach, it is nearly always as a last resort, favoring to have them see their wrongdoing or by slightly humiliating them until they apologize to you. Whomever leaves to deal with the person, the other walks off with you while distracting you with getting you a small gift or through simply chatting about anything.
