How doomed are Beast, Mr Deley, Belle, Yin Sid, Gaston, and Frollo are when the Madrigals find out just how mistreated Claudine, Lefou deux, the Gaston twins, and the other isle kids have been treated? How long do you think it'd take for them to be attacked for it?
This is me totally not Googling exactly precisely what happens when a person is struck by lightning. Nope. Not at all.

Smol ask, can u draw Holly's design in the Villains Au? Or just a little itty bitty mini sketches? I wanna see her more :]
And, uh, Alice too? Also i wanna know more about 'em:))
Day 13: Problem
Tumblr media
Sorry for the late response! I honestly struggle with drawing women! 😅
I made this AU before I finished the labyrinth so Villain!holly is pretty much Mayhem.
So! After being expelled from Yen Sid academy for looking through private records and having her name practically scorned by the public, being fired by her job, and living practically homeless, Holly decided that she would start her own business of secrets.
She set up an interconnected network of information running through the majority of organizations, businesses, and government branches of the US through spies and favors. She runs her business finding and selling secrets. Blackmailing the rich, trading favors and secrets, manipulating the people who have things they don’t want to come to light to the public. She got the journalist whole publicly shamed her, Jeremy Fairfax, fired. And sued Yen Sid.
She and Bendy are good acquaintances, both work in similar fields and work quite well together as work partners, so Holly got on the quest because her knowledge in runes, ancient history, and literally everything had Bendy go to her for a little help. She became invested and fascinated by the quest and joined as an official member.
The questers then of course got the cog and Holly got possessed by it. The questers managed to restrict the cog’s powers and allow her to remain tied but still in control while using the cog to boost her abilities a bit to help with her rune magic so she can do more for the quest. And it allows Holly to study the parts a little better too.
(Also sorry I don’t have too much time to draw Villain Alice (AKA I’m scared to attempt to draw another woman and its 1:30 AM and Art block is creeping up on meeee TwT) So I’ll tell you her backstory bc I don’t think I ever shared it!
Now Alice is a bit more of a heartbreaking story. She was an innocent angel who went to the surface for her act of charity. In staying on the surface she fell for a demon. When the upper found out about her love for the demon they rejected her and she either fell or ran away from the Upper to live her life with the demon. I haven’t decided which outcome I’m going to do for her. But if i go with the first the demon she fell in love with was Bendy and she’s still in love with him. If I go with the second option the demon was either bendy or a random demon that we never know. Either way she runs away if it’s the demon we don’t know, then the demon breaks her heart and leaves her for dead. If it’s bendy he either leaves her and she’s really bitter about it or they’re still in love.
From there she begins to take a huge hold of the black market (you know, the ones that took her to the dark circus?) and starts running things her way. OR She starts some kind of rebellion against the Upper with other fallen angels. I haven’t decided.
Enjoy the doodly sketch! And I hope this answers your ask! Thanks!

Let me show you... Youtube - chapter 20
Tonight I am going to an all-you-can-eat chinese buffet, I can't wait !
I wrote everything on my phone so I hope it will be coherent...
Warning : no proof reading, English is not my mother tongue.
TRIGGER WARNING : on the last paragraph, there is mention of medication.
If you are interested in reading this fic, the tag "#twst lmsyy" will give you all the chapters.
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
The buzzing had changed ever since she gave Trein the photograph. It had become something like a faint whisper. She disliked this very much.
Each time she thought someone was vaguely speaking to her, so she turned around and no one was there. She began to be quite unfocused on her work. Thanks to the Great Seven, she had 'unlimited' time to do them… Even with all this time, she needed to hurry because the Magift tournament was the day after. She spent her whole week making the stadium shiny for the guests.
She finished repairing the sinks in the ladies room when the sun was setting. She needed sleep. A lot of sleep. But sleep would be on Sunday sadly. She needed to see the babies performance. She would also finish her Giktok about Cynthia's magic remover.
She dragged herself to the dorm. [Do not set a bad example and don't go to sleep before dinner…]
She made some lasagna for tonight. The children loved it.
Yuu spoke with their mouth full. "Can't wait for tomorrow !"
Victoria arched an eyebrow. "Don't speak with your mouth full. It is impolite. What is happening tomorrow?"
Yuu gluped their food while the cat answered her. "We will catch the bad guys and do a Magift match !! They are going to see how awesome we are !"
Yuu continued. "Our plan is idiot proof ! No way we will fail !"
Victoria sighed. "I don’t want anyone to be hurt, ok ?"
Yuu and Grim nodded. "Of course !"
[I should prepare the first aid kit for the overblot aftermath…]
That evening, the woman hurried the children to their room -again- to put the second layer of remover. Like the day before, she ventilated the room while putting the product. She read some alchemy books before closing the blinds. The whispers made reading too complicated because she wasn’t focused. She read the same sentence 10 times before quitting.
She went to bed, hoping for a good night of sleep.
She opened her eyes after multiple hours thinking that it was going to be another sleepless night like when she was in her thesis.
She was… in front of a tower. A small yellow tower. As if she was possessed, she knocked on the door.
A man opened it. He was old, a long gray beard, big grey eyebrows and a full blue gown-pointy hat combo.
"You're…  Yen Sid ?" She asked in her trance.
Before he could answer anything, she sank to the ground, waking up in reality.
She was sweaty. Like when you had a vivid nightmare. She looked at the clock. 5:00 a.m.
She got out of her bed. She needed a bath to relax and think about what she just lived.
While the bath was drawn-out, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was glued to her face due to the sweat. She had humongous dark circles too. She would need makeup to cover them…
She got inside the warm water. "Aaaaah… I just need some bath bombs and it would be perfect. Maybe Sam has some ? He has everything…"
[I am pretty sure I dreamt about Yen Sid. He has quite the appearance after all. Am I having those dreams like when Yuu met with Mickey ? Am I the chosen one ??? Will I get a keyboard too ? Crowley has one after all, why not me ? … Oh yeah, because I am a coward. I can't do sh*t except what's on WeTube.] She laid lower in the bath. [Maybe I am a heart princess ?] The thought made her laugh. [Yeah what a princess I am. Unable to distinguish what's real and what's not…]
When it was 7:00 a.m. she got out of her bath tube. She wasn't aware her bath was this long. She turn around the furniture to find a strange pipe with a 'be careful, hot' warning on the box next to it. Was this… a mana heater ?
So she had an old dorm but it was full of old mana furniture? She could open a museum here !!
…. Maybe as her last way to earn money ? -As if she needed more-.
She decided to be classy for once and put on a tea length skater dress. It was black with a red underlining, peeking out the bottom of the dress. She searched high and low in the leather suitcase and got some derbies out of it. They were her favorites: black and white like in Tiger and Bunny.
She also put a LOT of makeup on to hide her dark circles. She did a red and gold halo makeup. It would change from everyone cut crease eyeshadow!
Before she got out of her room, she took her pills, adding a bit more of antipsychotic to the mix. On her prescription it was written 1.5 to 2 pills, so she should be alright…

Enjoy this sneak peak at my next Riku/Sora oneshot, "Return From the Brink"! I hope to have the full version out soon!
-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Disney Town was always so lively and bright, filled with laughter, chatter, and various exclamations of glee. When they were hosting a party, that was heightened exponentially– especially a birthday party which was exactly the occasion today. Their dear Kairi was turning seventeen, and you could definitely tell she was the birthday girl based on her state of dress. Kairi’s short red hair had purple orchids woven through in vine-like patterns that matched her dark purple tank top with lilac fabric ruffles on the sleeves and over the chest that had all sorts of sparkles. The redhead was wearing white jeans with black boots to go along with it, and over everything she was wearing a sash that stated her position as birthday girl, a tiara, and all sorts of buttons and pins of the birthday variety that Xion and Naminé had enjoyed placing all over her between giggles. Riku had watched in amusement while they had all finished getting ready in one of the living areas of Disney Castle. Now, though, they were all gathered outside having fun. They were in between scheduled activities, allowing everyone to do what they wished. Terra, Aqua, Mickey, Minnie, and Isa were playing some kind of card game while observing everyone else. Donald and Goofy were working with Huey, Dewey, and Louie to make the tallest possible ice cream cone. Yen Sid and Merlin were running tests on the fireworks show they had prepared for later in the evening to ensure there wouldn’t be any hiccups. Kairi was enjoying a friendly dance-off with Lea– Kairi was being backed by Ventus and Naminé while Lea was backed by Roxas and Xion. Xion had originally seemed intent on backing Kairi, but she couldn’t switch her loyalties from one of her first best friends like that. Lea, Roxas, and Xion were inseparable as a trio, after all, especially now that they could all completely accept the fact that they had their own hearts and emotions. It had been an entertaining journey to watch Roxas, Xion, and Naminé figure out what it was like to have their own hearts, even if it had led to a few embarrassing moments of needing to explain societal norms. The sex talk had been uncomfortable for all involved, and no one let Lea forget that he was the one to make the innuendo that started it all. They had grown into themselves, though, and the three were flourishing. Everyone was.
Well, almost everyone.
Riku was sitting alone against the wall of a nearby building in the shade, silently watching everyone else enjoy themselves. He really did want to join in on the fun– he wanted to be able to truly smile with them– but he just couldn’t. All of these bright colors, the laughter, the joy… It all reminded him so much of Sora. Sora who was somewhere unknown, most likely by himself, and far out of Riku’s reach. His dear, sweet, sunshine Sora had been gone for a year and a half, and Riku hadn’t been able to relax much since he disappeared. He still made routine checks once a month to each world they knew of to ask the residents they knew if anyone had any leads on Sora, but it was always answered in the negative. Many of them had said that he was most likely gone permanently and had tried to convince Riku to focus on other things. He knew that they meant well, but he vehemently refused. Even the idea of giving up on Sora made his skin crawl. The only other ones who seemed as certain as him that Sora was even still alive were those who had literally lived in his heart at one point. Even so, it seemed that Kairi, Naminé, Ventus, and Xion were beginning to suspect they had been wrong. Roxas was the only one Riku could talk to without being told to stop looking and just to give up. Roxas had been a lifeline for Riku ever since Sora’s disappearance, and wasn’t that ironic? The person Riku had worked so hard to destroy and return to Sora now was one of the few things keeping the silveret sane.
.........
“... Riku?” came a shaky, disbelieving whisper.
Riku jumped up and whipped around, his aquamarine blown wide as they met confused and fearful sapphire. Riku couldn’t believe his eyes. He reached his hands up to scrub at his eyes before looking again to see that the boy was still there.

I hate Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Everything about it.
However - there is one scene in particular that I absolutely despise above all others. Don't get me wrong, every other cutscene is bad, many of them even rage-inducing....but none of them quite measure up to this one in its wretchedness. Which one is it, you ask? THIS one.
So after Xigbar reiterates the bullshit Inception-esque "dream within a dream" plot twist that Sora is currently experiencing all because he happens to have an "X" on his clothes (yes, that is an actual thing that Nomura wrote), Sora just randomly declares that Nobodies have hearts after all. What does his base this on? The memories from 358/2 Days that he experienced.
"Axel and Roxas and Namine, and that other girl. I felt what Roxas felt and they laughed together, got mad, and they grieved. You have to have a heart to cry."
First off, "that other girl" shouldn't be here. In 358/2 Days, Namine specifically said "If you return your memories to him, you'll disappear. And since everything about you was built on those memories...no one will remember you when you're gone. There won't be any "you" to remember. I can't save you, Xion--even a memory of you." But this game, just like Coded before it and KH3 after it, is flagrantly ignoring that because the rabid fanbase that Days / Xion / the Seasalt Trio developed, particularly in Japan, demanded Xion back and because he's a clout-chasing coward Nomura complied, the story's internal logic be damned.
Secondly, all of the characters Sora mentioned are special cases. Roxas and Namine were special Nobodies built upon a literal heart-to-heart relationship (Sora and Kairi), allowing them to feel things at the cost of having no memory, when for normal Nobodies it's the other way around. Xion was not a Nobody, she was a replica with a heart constructed from memories. Of course she felt stuff. Lastly, this game continues to ignore that Axel's feelings were...off. Making a connection with a heart allowed him to start feeling things, but his Nobody nature was still technically heartless and self-centered, which meant that his feelings were purely based on himself and what his friends mean to him. He never cared about them the way someone is actually supposed to, as that depth of feeling was still foreign to him.
And finally, this seems to be in direct response to that stupid Tomoko Kanemaki-made scene from KH2:FM of Roxas talking with Axel's ghost and they wax poetic about what a heart is and what it means to have one, ending in a shot where Axel is seen shedding tears ("You have to have a heart to cry"). But even that scene, as bad as it was, was still written with Nojima's KH2 scenario in mind where the answer is a philosophical difference between a literal heart, which Nobodies can't have, and a metaphorical heart, which they can develop through bonding with someone with a heart and find a way to exist (as evidenced by Axel even having a ghost at all) within that someone's heart. But now, we get this from Xemnas:
"A heart is never lost for good. There may have been variances in our dispositions, but a number of us unquestionably showed signs of a burgeoning replacement. Once born, the heart can also be nurtured. Our experiments creating Heartless were attempts to control the mind, and convince it to renounce its sense of self. But understand, one can banish the heart from the body, but the body will try to replace it the first chance it gets, for as many times as it takes. And so I knew, even after we were divided into Heartless and Nobodies, it was just a temporary separation."
Where do I even begin?
"A number of us unquestionably showed signs of a burgeoning replacement"? Is this Nomura's way to "explain" why the Organization reacted emotionally on many occasions? Except that was already explained in KH2! As Yen Sid said, their behavior is a ruse to pretend that they have hearts and properly exist, and as Saix said, it's their memories of their human selves and the feelings they felt with hearts that allow them to do this. We literally SEE Demyx drop the facade and show his true unemotional colors right before fighting him!
"One can banish the heart from the body, but the body will try to replace it the first chance it gets". Um, HOW? The body shouldn't be able to recreate a heart because in this universe the body never created the heart to begin with! The literal title of the series, Kingdom Hearts, is where all hearts are born and where all hearts return to. We established that in Game 1!
There was talk earlier about puppets like Pinocchio "growing" a heart, but that's not even the case. As seen earlier in KH2's Space Paranoids and later in KH3's Toy Box, it's not that the non-living thing "grows" a heart, it's that Kingdom Hearts grants them a heart specifically based upon the feelings someone with a heart has toward them. Gepetto, Ansem the Wise, Andy, etc. The hearts didn't just come out of nowhere from nothing like this game suggests.
For that matter, the heart is established as holding the essence of a person; it's who they are. The whole reason Nobodies "don't exist" is because while they have the body and soul of a person plus the memories of said person, without a heart they are not actually that person, who is actually now a Heartless. So is Xemnas saying the body can grow a new freaking person? Then what will become of the original person once they're purified from being a Heartless? The same bullshit of "recompleting" that Lea and co. underwent? But doesn't that contradict the notion that Nobodies are their own individuals who supposedly deserve to live as such? Also, why does all of this only apply to the Organization? What about all of the lesser Nobodies, like the Dusks? Can they not also "regrow" their hearts? Did Nomura think any of this out at all before committing it to script form? And at this point, Sora yells out:
"Why, then? Why did you lie to them and tell them they had no hearts?"
Yep, that's right. Even though Yen Sid also said they had no hearts, Ansem the Wise's research turned up that they had no hearts, and they themselves largely behaved as though they had no hearts, apparently it was all just a lie Xemnas concocted, stripping away half the depth that he and the Organization in general had. Xemnas is now depicted as just a simplistic bad guy and the others save for Xigbar as total victims of brainwashing. Hilariously, the narrative tap-dances around how, if this is true, then Sora and the other heroes now look way more questionable for killing them. The bullshit train keeps chugging as Xigbar says:
"Xemnas and Xehanort formed the Organization for a specific reason - round up a bunch of empty husks, hook them up to Kingdom Hearts, then fill them all with the exact same heart and mind. Translation--they were gonna turn all the members into Xehanort."
So now the claim is that Xemnas, who totally had Xehanort's heart inside him even when Ansem existing should render that impossible, was gonna use the power of Kingdom Hearts to copy-paste that heart into the other Organization members as part of Xehanort's plan to forge the X-Blade. Just like with the claim that Ansem's goal was the Seven Princesses rather than the Final Keyhole they unseal, this clashes with what we actually saw in the previous games. Why would Xemnas do anything he did if this was the plan? The event that got him his thirteenth "vessel" also set the Seven Princesses loose, then several of those "vessels" perished, and yet he carried on with the plan anyway? KH3 tries to do damage control by suggesting Xemnas was out to betray Xehanort, but that just creates more issues with this abominable retcon trying to force separate villainous plans as part of some convoluted whole.
Xigbar then follows all this up with:
"Me? I'm already half Xehanort!"
.....Moving on. Xemnas proceeds to give us this absolute howler:
"However -through weakness of body...weakness of will...or weakness of trust--most of the original members we had chosen for the Organization were inadequate. Thus, naturally, they never had a chance to attain their goal."
MOST of the original Organization members were inadequate!?
Um, yeah, let's flash forward to KH3 and see who made the cut:
Xemnas Xigbar Vexen Saix Demyx Luxord Marluxia Larxene Xion (as a replacement for Roxas)
So basically, 9 out of 13. Only 4 (Xaldin, Lexaeus, Zexion and Axel) "failed".
.....Xemnas, I don't think that the word "most" means what you think it means.
Then we get to the big, dramatic confrontation as Sora yells:
"Just stop it! You treat people's hearts like bottles on a shelf, but they're not! Hearts are made of the people we meet, and how we feel about them-- they're what ties us together even when we're apart! They're what...make me strong."
This is a good line, but Xigbar proceeds to ruin it with his comeback:
"Duh! You're strong because of the ties you have with other people. As if the Keyblade would choose a wimp like you. But no pouting. We see much bigger and better things in your future...once you side with us."
To which Sora replies:
"I know the Keyblade didn't choose me, and I don't care. I'm proud to be a small part of something bigger--the people it did choose! My friends. They are my power!
Tumblr media
Beyond this callback to a famous line in the original game feeling cheap, Nomura doesn't even seem to actually remember the scene in which the line was used! Because the Keyblade DID choose Sora in that scene, precisely because of how he bonded his heart with others and took strength from them. In fact, he may be the ONLY person the Keyblade has "chosen" in this series - the allegedly worthier "other people" who appear in the above image have either had their Keyblade bequeathed to them by a prior wielder, transformed another weapon into a Keyblade, or wield a Keyblade specifically because Sora can wield it. (Also, why are Terra, Aqua, Ven and Xion even there? Calling them Sora's "friends" is a huge stretch, especially when people like Namine and HPO who fit the bill better aren't present! And if them not having Keyblades is the excuse given, I must point out that Donald and Goofy are also here! So are they part of "the people it did choose"!? Where is the consistency!?)
This combined with Xehanort's later "dull, ordinary boy" remark reeks of Nomura being touchy about criticism BBS got for making Sora out to be more special than he was supposed to be which led to him overcorrecting here....which doesn't even stick given Data!Ansem the Wise's later monologue about Sora and the events of KH3. Just terrible, contradictory writing.
I hate Dream Drop Distance. I hate the convoluted dream mechanics, I hate Yen Sid's whole Mark of Mastery test and the stupidity and hypocrisy he displays as it unfolds, I hate the literal TWEWY cast being present, I hate the Lea subplot, I hate Maleficent and Pete doing nothing, I hate the shafting of Kairi, I hate the Sora/Riku queer-baiting, I hate young Xehanort, and I hate all of the screwy, time travel-based retconning and twist reveals in the last act that essentially destroyed the whole series. But this fucking scene in particular, I hate above all.

i think a lot about the scene where, in kh3, sora meets up with yen sid for the first time and is told he needs the power of waking and goofy says "i'm sure something will trigger it real soon" and then riku just walks in lol. it was heavy and obvious foreshadowing for me
Lmfao wait I never noticed that
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That makes Sora shouting and pointing at Riku even funnier. The game is like look!!! Here’s the answer!!!
Yen Sid could be a little nicer here and say that Sora’s greatest strength is following his heart/going off of what he feels — cause that’s what Yen Sid means by magic happening whenever Sora needs it.
And, of course, magic does happen when Sora needs it. When Riku is in trouble, the Power of Waking finally comes to him. Sora just follows his heart.

Sora was a big neurodivergent mood in KH3 specifically and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it
It's most prominent towards the beginning of the game, where Sora is asked to follow his heart to open the new world portals, and we see him struggle to do so not once, but twice. (With the same posturing, even)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like he genuinely cannot think of where to go or what it is in his heart that he's supposed to be following, which is really interesting to me because I don't think we've seen this behavior from him before. But at the same time, it makes sense, because he's basically being asked to use his intuition, which is... pretty difficult to do on command
The two scenes are different in one way though, in that what triggers Sora deciding where to go is different each time. The first time, his subconscious is clearly telling him to visit Olympus, as shown by the way he flexes his muscles like three different times upon hearing the word "hero"
Tumblr media
But for one reason or another, it just doesn't fully click with him until Goofy brings up the "may your heart be your guiding key" line. I don't know what exactly is blocking his brain from realizing he wants to go to Olympus but there's definitely Something going on there and I'm endlessly fascinated by it
The second time, he arguably doesn't follow "his" heart at all; he follows Roxas's.
Tumblr media
Which yeah this is still him following his own desire to bring Roxas back, but it's interesting how he doesn't keep the focus on himself for very long if he can help it
Though it's not too hard to imagine why considering Donald and Goofy's reactions to his struggles
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Acting like he isn't taking things seriously, noting that this particular struggle is becoming routine... like I said, major parallels to what a lot of neurodivergent folk go through.
In general, there's a lot of people thinking Sora should just Know Things without being given clear instructions, and then he tries to get clearer instructions on what to do and he's kinda just given a shrug.
Tumblr media
And while Sora does eventually figure this all out, it's without any direct input from the others. It also doesn't help that they spend a lot of the game telling Sora not to follow his heart (which is telling him to help Riku save Aqua) because it would be too dangerous, while also... telling him to follow his heart. But only to accomplish what they need him to do.
Yeah it's no wonder he's still stuck wondering what "following his heart" is supposed to mean by Re:Mind, AKA after he's already defeated Xehanort
Tumblr media
Sora is trying so hard in this game to be what people want from him and they're making that super complicated by being unclear on what exactly it is they want him to do. That's not entirely their fault since they don't actually have all the answers, especially Donald and Goofy, but it's clearly affecting Sora regardless.
(Probably unrelated/unintended but the Heartbinder is also odd to me? It's meant to make his "inherent gifts" stronger, the gift in this case being... connecting with others?? I know it's just there as a summoning mechanic but is there a reason Sora needs extra help with this, or a reason Yen Sid thinks he does? Is it because of how he lost his powers?? Does that make it a parallel to a disability aid???)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also worth noting, though not directly a neurodivergent parallel, Sora's confusion over romantic love in this game (expanded upon in the novels) also falls into the category of "things everyone else just Understands inherently that Sora doesn't"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Quoiromantic Sora my beloved
In conclusion Sora is neurodivergent and it became a lot more apparent in KH3, where he has arguably the vaguest instructions and overall least suitable conditions for him to thrive

ACTUALLY HERES THE AU SO FAR-
it’s mostly focusing on the ORG XIII characters and it’s just sort of a very rough idea right now. I’ll definitely be expanding more in the future
-partially Centers on luxord, a reporter with a gambling addiction, who is investigating a small town in probably the pacific northwest that is down for a long string of children going missing dating back for years- and also recently children showing up
-luxord is staying at a lodge run by ansem the old- lexaeus, xaldin, and zexion work different jobs there. Vexen is using the facilities for his various environmental research there.. Which he is very private about.
-Xaldin eventually begrudgingly offers luxord a place at his home because he has an extra room and staying so many days in the lodge is starting to add up and the company he works for wasn’t counting on this taking so long
-Marley runs a florist place- Something that luxord is investigating is missing people’s which involves strelitzia. Marly has been torn up about this and has been looking for answers for years now
-xion similarly appeared under mysterious circumstances as a kid. Nobody knows where she came from and even she cant remember. She was found by xigbar in the middle of the woods and she currently lives with him.
-xigbar is also an anomaly. He just rode into town one day out of the blue and settled into a cabin on the outskirts of it. Noone really knows what he does for a living and noone knows how he lost his eye. He’ll just make up a new story every time if you ask him.
-xigbar will regularly sit outside his house at night with a radio, a cold one, and a gun. He wont tell anyone why. Whenever xion asks he just ruffles her hair and goes “dont worry about it poppet”
- zexion also showed up much in the same way as xion years before. He was adopted by vexen and has grown quite adjusted
- Namine is Ansem the olds kid but no one really knows who her mom is and she’s always been a bit strange. She’s super friendly though but just odd. She seems to be able to draw pictures that predict things. Her and xion get along instantly
-Demyx is a local musician that does a lot of folk music but also isn’t afraid to branch out but he’s also just sort of weird. He showed up in town a few years ago as a traveling musician but just stuck around
-larxene is the town mechanic because I think that would be very hot of her. Marluxias bestie and her shop is right next to his. She was also a friend of strelitzia and is also looking for answers
-OMX is mayor. Eraqus is his husband and runs the welcome center which is also a cafe- Aqua and terra and ven work at it
-Baldr was an ex classmate of theirs back in the day. He’s blamed for the disappearance of many of their classmates since he seemed to get more violent after his sister died. Idk if he’s locked up, dead or if he disappeared
But the disappearance of the missing classmates is seen as a huge mark on the towns past
-Xemnas and Ansem SOD are OMX's kids and they’re also rikuss uncles. riku lives with ansem SOD since his mother passed away. YMX is his older brother who lives alone
-Saix works as the town reporter and is often accompanying luxord on his investigations- somewhat to his annoyance because he prefers working alone.
-xemnas runs the town newspaper
-axel also works for the paper but unlike saix he stays in the building and works as an editor… though he will sometimes come with saix
-saix and axel live together along with roxas. Roxas is axels little brother and also good friends with namine and xion.
-roxas is cousins with ven jdhkjfhkhf
-ven and vanitas are twins
-Ansem SOD works as a teacher at the local school
-Yen Sid is the principal
-the KH kids sort of hang out together in a big friendgroup since theyre very weary about someone going missing
-I wanna say the main FF7 characters (zack, cloud, tifa, aerith, etc) work at a bar and lounge lmao. I’m not gonna do too much placement of the FF characters because I don’t know too much about them but they DO live there
-idk who the sherif and cops are… i love the kingdom hearts characters too much for that. Its probably some disney or FF characters. Maybe one can be sephiroth LMAO
-Cid is an electrician in town
-The town also has some Disney characters but they don’t play too much of a role. Like the evil stepmother and her girls are like the rich family in town. Merlin and the fairy godmother are the sweet old couple in town and Cinderella is their daughter, etc
-dusks and heartless are local legends. A lot of people say they see them around at nightfall. Theres a lot of discussion on if theyre real or not
-eraqus is a huge believer in the paranormal. Hes convinced that theres a prevalent evil/darkness in the woods
-there is something very off about Xigbar and the mountain that they live on
-The town is called twilight town and is located on a mountain known as Mount Hearts

I submitted Cinderella 3: a twist in time, but looking further at your rules, I'm not sure if it will qualify. It starts a year after the 1st movie ends, but then one of the sisters (Anastasia) gets ahold of the fairy godmother wand, and uses it to go back in time to the night after the ball, when they are trying on the glass supper, and then goes from there. Would it still count? It's my favorite Disney movie.
This is 1000% a sequel. Time-traveling back to change the story requires knowing the story to begin with. We absolutely love this one too, and it's going to be in the bracket, the only question is if it is the favorite coming out of submissions*
*of course some crazy and highly improbable organized effort to overwhelm submissions to keep CIII from making the cut could change this.

"How does the original story connect to Disney?" is a question that has often been asked about Kingdom Hearts...and it ought to be asked more often, as the answer shows how the series lost its way.
In the first Kingdom Hearts, the original story is about the Keyblade Master trying to find his lost friends while saving the worlds of the universe from being consumed by a mass invasion of dark creatures, the Heartless, whose evil master ultimately seeks to conclude the invasion by absorbing the Heart of All Worlds assembled through each world's destruction hidden within the Realm of Darkness.
How Disney fits in is pretty obvious. Not only are the worlds in question largely Disney-based, but Donald and Goofy are the Keyblade Master's companions, Mickey Mouse is the leader of a resistance effort who operates the home base where refugees of lost worlds which includes some noteworthy Disney characters take shelter, until he can take physical form the Heartless' master's henchmen leading the invasion are a group of Disney villains that manipulates the Keyblade Master's male friend to the side of evil, and the magical beings who hold the power to unlock the way to the Heart of All Worlds are a group of Disney heroines with the Keyblade Master's female friend being among their ranks! What's more, the original iconography of hearts, keys and keyholes, "gummi" blocks, a money system called "munny", a majestic castle where villains hold maidens captive, and dark creatures with glowing yellow eyes all fit perfectly with Disney's usual sensibilities like an oversized glove.
At first glance, Chain of Memories doesn't seem like it does things as well, since beyond having Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket as companions for Sora and Mickey Mouse as companion for Riku, whom also has an important moment with Maleficent, the Disney worlds are just memory-based filler episodes in between the main plot progressing. However, said main plot is all about, yet again, a majestic castle where villains hold a maiden captive, the sort of archetypal fairy tale situation that Disney has always engaged with. Yes it's a dark and twisted take on it, but Disney also hasn't been afraid to go dark when necessary. Even the theme of memory is another fitting one for Disney, which has a hold on so many people's childhood memories. It still legitimately feels like a Disney RPG...heck, it feels like a Disney video game, a very specific one at that!
Kingdom Hearts II is about the Keyblade Master's journey continuing (and ultimately concluding) as a new group of villains conspires to destroy the universe through the spread of Heartless and acquire Kingdom Hearts, this time via the Heart of All Beings assembled through the Keyblade freeing captive hearts from the Heartless.
While this story pushes the Square Enix side more heavily, the end result is the perfect balance between it and Disney, which is still being considered. The important Disney characters from the original game remain important plus we get new important characters like Yen Sid, Pete and Scrooge McDuck, a plot point about a virtual world inside a computer at the start is echoed with the new home base world being heavily tied to the world of Disney's Tron, the main villains are spooky cursed beings exactly like the villains in the world of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, and above all the core threat will matter more to players who are Disney fans because it is primarily hearts of beings from the worlds of Disney that the villains are sacrificing for their evil objective. And even if you're not a Disney fan, Sora is friends with all these Disney characters, regardless of how plot-relevant they or visits to their worlds may be, which adds a highly personal stake in the story.
So the KH Trinity aces this test. Moving on to the series beyond...
358/2 Days: If the 1.5 cutscene movie having no actual cutscenes with Disney characters beyond one with Mickey that has literally nothing to do with the story and is only there as set-up for KH2 didn't clue you in, this game doesn't do too well with Disney connecting to the original story. The situations in the Disney worlds are good, bridging the gap of what went down between KH and KH2 quite nicely, but the main characters seldom get involved or interact with any of the locals. The only important thing they do is destroy Heartless to form Kingdom Hearts. It is purely thanks to KH2 and the heavy lifting it did that allows it to feel natural for this story, a direct prequel, to have Disney worlds as settings at all, since otherwise you could place the action in original worlds and nothing would feel off.
Birth by Sleep: This is a true half-and-half situation. Because on the one hand, you get Disney worlds that all connect with the KH Trinity, characters like Mickey, Yen Sid, and Maleficent all being important, the Disney Princess group of the first KH being relevant again, important plot progression happening in said Princesses' worlds, and an "old-school Disney" sort of vibe that even the main enemy creatures get in on with their rubber hose style movements. Even the original plot being a Star Wars knock-off is fitting in retrospect now that Disney owns Star Wars. But on the other hand, the original iconography that once fit Disney so well back in the first KH is now being treated so seriously and less whimsically that it feels like Square Enix is just completely taking it over, with the Keyblade concept in particular turning into something far less unique and magical than it had been before. Also, while the main characters certainly interact with the Disney worlds and characters more than the ones of Days did, it always feels like they're leaving no real lasting impact on them. Maybe that's by design since otherwise they can't be as impacted by Sora and the original elements in KH, but it still sets an uncomfortable precedent to be repeated going forward.
Coded: Give this game one thing, Disney certainly matters to its story, given that it's kind of all about goings-on at Disney Castle with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip and Dale, Maleficent and Pete, and of course Jiminy Cricket and his journal. It's a shame that none of that ends up mattering since the only part of the story that's important to the series narrative happens at the end and, aside from Mickey, is all about a bunch of original characters. But hey, it's still better than....
Dream Drop Distance: You put Disney in a game that's centered around dreams, and somehow make it feel like it doesn't matter aside from Mickey and Yen Sid. Just....how? How do you do that? The visits to the five Disney-based worlds don't matter and neither Sora or Riku have any real impact on any of what transpires there, a random excursion to Disney Castle to face Maleficent and Pete goes nowhere, and the original concepts have officially gone full Square Enix to the point of no longer gelling with Disney. Time travel with complicated rules and consequences whereas before it was just a whimsical door to the black-and-white past. A villain whose master plan is so omnipotent that it renders all the heroes' past victories meaningless and leaves them with no solid way of winning in the future. Clones of characters all over the place. Inception-style dream-within-dream mind screws. The literal cast of The World Ends With You playing the literal Reaper's Game. And a light, optimistic hero dumbed down, trivialized and ultimately deemed a failure all to prop up the dark, angsty hero. Also, I guess Pokémon are a thing now.
X/UX: All the Disney stuff is fake and unimportant. With that said, the fairy tale storybook framing of the main story in the original game / "season" did give off a decent Disney vibe. A shame the second "season" totally ruined that by making it all about Keyblade wielders inside another goddamn datascape, with more fucking time travel!
0.2 Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage: Mickey and Yen Sid are important characters and we see some destroyed Disney worlds.
Kingdom Hearts III: This story is about Sora and his friends preparing to fight Xehanort and his minions at a desert wasteland, and then they do. That's it. None of the visits to Disney Worlds have anything to do with that or impact it in any way; there's not even any crisis going on in the universe motivating the visits in the first place. Mickey, Yen Sid, Donald and Goofy, Jiminy Cricket, Scrooge McDuck, Remy and Merlin all get to be important to certain degrees, and the game itself is certainly full of Disney goodness for fans...it's just a shame that the original elements feel so divorced from it now. Everything that used to fit in with Disney - Keyblades and magic Keyholes, villains in black coats and the enemy creatures under their command, Kingdom Hearts itself, etc. - have so little interaction, intersection or interest with the Disney stuff that they've taken on their own, far less interesting identity. Even the new Disney worlds feel less like new incarnations of Disney properties set in an RPG universe and more like just....well, those Disney properties.
Melody of Memory: All the Disney stuff is fake and unimportant.
Dark Road: The main character's disgust at the actions of some Disney villains is used to justify him....becoming a villain himself. Because if there's one thing Disney is known for, it's stories where villainy is totally justified if done to keep other villains in line! Wait...
Missing Link: All the Disney stuff is fake and....
Kingdom Hearts IV: FINAL FANTASY VERSUS XIII!
Sigh....Is it any wonder I'm like this?

Hello😊
What about Minnie in your AU?👉👈
Well Anon,
Minnie Mouse over here is actually a princess. She is the ruler of the Disney kingdom who is loyal to her people.
Although, being royalty and such, she always wanted to go out into the world and see new things (but ofc, her parents forbid her).
Tumblr media
-She’s friends with Mickey and Oswald (ever since they were kids) since Yen Sid is the royal family’s sorcerer.
Tumblr media
But that’s all! A thousand apologies for answering this so late (a lot of things happened and such), thanks for being patient!❤️🩷🤍✨

i feel like post kh3 Roxas has a lot more expectations to live up to, and after everything that happened in Days, he’s kinda had to adapt a more mature persona. but he’s still innocent as always, just... less likely to show how curious he is to people who arent Lea and Xion. there’s no more “why does the sun set red?”, and a lot more nodding along to what people say, not asking what certain words mean or for people to explain concepts. it’s better if Roxas doesn’t ask, right? conversations end quicker, he gets less weird looks from Riku, Aqua, and Yen Sid if he just pretends he knows what everything means. And he’s smart enough to figure things out on the fly. He asks for help less, cause that’s what everyone expects him to do. until he and Ventus become closer, at least. after a few weeks of being together, Roxas lowers his guard a bit and starts asking more questions that Ventus is more than happy to answer. Ventus wants to help and Roxas likes being able to ask for help without being judged. win-win.

Let me incoherently share my favourite Huma headcanon:
Rise timeline doesn't exist, btw, because I don't like it ✨
So, Ben is the King of Auradon at sixteen, right? That means it is also the age of majority in Auradon and on the Isle, not that anyone on the Isle really cares, but anyway. Adult stuff legal. You know, drinking, marriage...
Essentials for a king basically.
Coincidentally, when Core 4 leave for Auradon, the majority of them are sixteen: as are Sea Three.
And when the Core 4 publically declares Good, dooming the other Isle children, in they eyes of the Isle kids at least, well, it is perfectly legal for the pirates get drunk. (They'd get drunk even if it was illegal, but hey. Not the point.)
They get blackout drunk.
You know, hysterical laughter, shouting obscenities towards Auradon and Core Four, picking fights just because. The port is the epicenter of the Isle-wide ruckus, as it has clear wiev of Auradon.
Now, somewhere during that time... Harry Hook and Uma decide that they should get married. Like, right now.
They have not ever told eachother that they care of the other (not out loud), let even admit that there might be something like love between them: Villains can't love, please!
But, you know, it sounded like a good idea at that time.
And since their crew and Harry's sisters and basically all Isle kids have been shipping them since forever, they go along with it.
Gil officiates, of course: he gets the papers and gets Harriet to double check them. (Harriet then forwards the papers to Dr. F. And Yen Sid, making it as official as can be.)
Harry and Uma sign, their signatures clear for the amount of alcohol in their blood.
The hateful and resentful atmosphere turns into a careless celebration, all betrails forgotten for the night.
And when the Harry and Uma wake up next morning, well, they carry on as if nothing changed.
They don't remember a thing.
No one bothers talking to them about the wedding: Everyone assumes they know and just refuse to acknowledge it.
Harriet got just as much of a window as the two of them, and CJ is waiting for the chaotic fall out when they find out.
That doesn't happen for very long, though.
It's years after that when a wedding is mentioned on the Lost Revenge again. It's after the Royal Wedding, too.
„We should get married,“ mentions Uma offhandedly.
Harry, of course, is fully onboard with the idea. They start planning, only to be interrupted by confused Gil:
„Guys?“ he says, „You do know that you are already married, right?“
„WHAT?!“
„Well, yeah. I've got the papers in my cabin, do you want to see them?“
„YES.“
Gil fetches the certificate and the couple inspects them: They look real enough, and those are undoubtedly their signatures. And the date?
„We have been married this whole time?“ wonders Harry.
„Why didn't you tell us?!“ demands Uma, much less amused than Harry.
„Um, we,“ Gil struggles with the answer a bit, „We kidna assumed you knew.“
„What the fuck.“
(That was Uma.)
„Well, I still want a wedding,“ she says moments later, „Since I don't remember the first one.“
She glares at Harry as if it was his fault, and he just cackles: „Second wedding it is, love. Gotta up the purple dragon and the boy king, anyway.“

If you are interested in reading this fic, the tag "#twst lmsyy" will give you all the chapters.
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Victoria promised the children to help them study before saying some good nights.
After a light meal, the woman took her meds and went to bed. She was hopeful she could get some well deserved rest. She laid there, observing her ceiling. [What is this teacher thinking ? Teaching them such complex matters…]. She sighed. [What a mess].
After a few hours, the meds kicked in and she fell asleep.
She was on a hill, in front of a yellow tower. [I must be dreaming, am I at Yen Sid tower again ?].
She knocked on the door and after a few minutes, an old man opened the door. He was old, with a long gray beard and his black eyebrows always frowning. He was muttering about how youngsters those days seemed to have a lot of free time. He raised his head and looked her in the eyes.
He was intrigued. “Well, we meet again, young woman. You disappeared in a hurry last time.”
She was flabbergasted. “Mh, yeah nice to meet you again sir. I woke up quite brutally.”
He raised an eyebrow. “You… woke up ? What do you mean ?”
She thought hard on how to explain this. “Erm, basically, for me, I am currently asleep and I am dreaming about you ..? Like I know my body is asleep because if someone outside wants to see me, he only needs to wake me up. I exist on this plane of reality. But I shouldn’t exist on your plane.”
The man squinted his eyes, wondering what she could be meaning by that. After a few minutes, he asked “I know there are multiple worlds so… Which one are you from ?”
Victoria smiled. “I come from a world named Twisted Wonderland.”
The older man thought hard. “Twisted Wonderland…  I do not know this world, it must be new or undiscovered. What brings you here ?”
She blinked. “I… Don’t know. I mean,I don’t even come from Twisted Wonderland to begin with. Apparently I was randomly chosen to be there.”
His eyes opened wide. “You were chosen ? Are you a keyblade master ?”
Victoria blinked faster. “Me, a keyblade master ? Don’t make me laugh.”
He huffed. “You are right, you must be a princess of heart. I can feel that you are pure.”
The woman guffawed. “Me ? A princess of heart ? Pure ? What a good joke. I ain’t pure for sh*t. I did stuff in bed y’know ?”
He sighed. “Being pure has nothing to do with that. You have no darkness in your heart. You must never have been able to hate someone or you always did your best to please people.”
She was shocked. “Ok… Touché.”
The man massaged his temple. “What’s your name?”
She smiled, finally able to answer a question without having to think too hard about it. “I am Victoria Devi, a janitor ! And you ?”
He scoffed. “I am Yen Sid, magician.”
