falling asleep with treasure !!

pairing. bf!treasure x reader genre. established relationship, fluff <//3 and crack (??) word count. 1.7k author's note. this has been sitting unfinished in my drafts for so long omg.. thank u to that one anon for remembering it existed and sending me an ask about it lmao! i had gotten this idea randomly thinking about clingy junkyu and then boom... this mess of a reaction slash headcanon slash idk thing came to life. hope u enjoy! it was also an excuse to use those photos of doyoung cz hes so cutie pie in them

fall asleep cuddling, drift apart while sleeping, wake up, notice you’re not cuddling, start cuddling again, and repeat - hyunsuk

hyunsuk gives off healthy mature long-term relationship vibes to me okay. i feel like a lot of couples that have been together for a while end up not cuddling while sleeping but rather get into their own comfortable sleeping positions, and then throughout the night, even though you’re so sleepy you’re barely conscious, when you realize that you’re not cuddling, you scooch back into each other’s arms. he always hits snooze on the alarm at least once in the morning just to get ten extra minutes of being with you before having to get up.

you both wake up stinky and sweaty every single time - jihoon

and it's because the two of you fall asleep in your cuddling position (usually you as the little spoon or resting your head on his chest, but you force him to let you spoon him sometimes), and then you don't. move. not an inch. if it gets too hot, one of you throws the blankets away, or gets rid of their pajama pants, or regains enough consciousness during the night to turn the fan on, but under no circumstances will you break away from your cuddling position - unless it is to get into another cuddling position, of course. it's quite nice, but it means that morning showers are obligatory, because you both smell atrocious after a night of being stuck to each other like glue on paper.

you know those anime body pillows? yup. that's what you become when yoshi wants to cuddle. he gives me major cuddler vibes, so you’ll have tried every position in the book, but his favorite is definitely the one where he gets to use to your chest as a pillow and you graze your fingernails against his scalp. he’s got a leg hiked up over your hips and has his arms circling your waist and holding you tight. you can’t move. nothing will have him falling asleep as fast as that. your voice is like a lullaby to him, so he especially likes it if you talk to him in a low voice while he drifts off to sleep. he’s so happy he could fall asleep with a smile on his face. he’s so cute i’m going to off myself

you can’t escape the death hold he has on you - junkyu

a big portion of your time hanging out with junkyu is spent napping. something that surprises you every time is how even though he isn’t the touchiest of boyfriends, if you fall asleep cuddling, you literally cannot move unless you wake him up and make him let you go. forget going to the toilet when you wake up in the morning or getting a snack during your afternoon nap: if junkyu has you in his grip, you cannot escape. he doesn’t even seem to notice: he just wakes up with an innocent smile on his face, saying “oh, you’re awake, y/n?” even though you’ve been trying to discreetly untangle yourself from him for the past thirty minutes.

now i could NOT tell you why but jaehyuk gives me like… snorer and drooler vibes 😭 but like in a cute way okay… once he falls asleep he’s just out like a light, he can’t help it. he’s like those cartoon characters that sleep with their mouths wide open and there’s a bit of saliva at the corner of their lips. and they’re very light snores that are fun to record and embarrass him with. if you didn’t love him so much, it might give you the ick. but anyways, in terms of cuddling i see him as a mix of everyone above in a way; he loves both holding you close to him and being in your arms, he loves both rubbing your back or you playing with his hair, he loves falling asleep while cuddling but he’s also happy if you need more space and just have, like, your feet or hands touching. as long as you’re next to him he knows he’ll sleep well <3

wakes up every time you so much as move a finger - asahi

any asahi lore expert such as myself will know that asahi is a very light sleeper. i think for him cuddling is more of an activity than a way of falling asleep if that makes sense? like he’ll do it when you’re watching something, or when you’re talking and want to be physically close at the same time, but he just can’t fall asleep while cuddling. he also sweats easily, so the added warmth would just make it not fun for him 😭he’d do it for you if you really wanted it, but he’d rather just hold hands while sleeping or something like that. you’d also feel sorry for him with how often he woke up during the night, even if it was just for a few seconds, everytime you moved around too noisily or snored. he also always wakes up before you, and you’d need to have a conversation with him about how you’d rather wake up with him next to you rather than wake up without him, only to find him in the kitchen making breakfast for you :( he just wants to do something nice for him, but you’d rather be able to kiss him first thing in the morning!!!! sorry my bias is showing a bit

watches you while you sleep for so long it becomes creepy - doyoung

oh this boy 😭 if he falls asleep after you or wakes up before you, you just know he's going to be propping himself up on his elbow, gazing down at you with soft eyes and a fond smile because you're just the prettiest person in the world to him, and there's nothing else he'd rather be looking at. and he isn’t rattled in the slightest if you catch him doing it, too. he'll just smile wider and say "hey, baby" or "sleep well?", that fucker. it's lowkey creepy, but it's doyoung, so it's okay. it’s a bit jarring at first, locking eyes with someone right when you wake up, but you get used to it. i see him as similar to jaehyuk in the sense that he’s happy to fall asleep, cuddling or not cuddling, in whatever way you prefer. he’d probably like to fall asleep facing you so that he could see your face right as he woke up (in a lovely, enamored way, not in a creepy way!) 👍

keeps you from falling asleep but grumpy when you try to wake him up - jeongwoo

jeongwoo seriously gives me tired all day until it's time to go to bed vibes, like he'll usually be chill with bursts of energy here and there but in the evening he's like a cat with the zoomies. it's like 11pm and you're just trying to fall asleep because you have class or work the next day but your boyfriend is bouncing all over the room and talking a hundred words a minute, keeping you awake way past your bedtime. it's kinda cute sometimes, but most of the time, you want to suffocate him with your pillow. usually, though, he'll calm down if he sees you're really tired, or if you force him to stay in your arms and start threading your hands through his hair or rub patterns against his back - that really calms him down. he becomes super quiet instantly and can even fall asleep like that. but dear lord, when that alarm rings the next morning, you do not want to talk to him for the following fifteen minutes. he is so grumpy and sleepy in the morning, i just know. it's impossible to get him out of bed and you've just learnt to get up yourself and wait for him to wake up - although it's better to check that he hasn't fallen back asleep (which he usually has). he just keeps groaning for five more minutes and buries his head in his pillow to block the light out, but if you press a kiss to his cheek or forehead, that usually gets him to open his eyes and start smiling, then ask for a proper good morning kiss on the lips. this kid is annoying as hell, but you wouldn't have it any other way.

forgets his size and rests his whole body on you - haruto

haruto is like those big dogs that have no idea they're so big and wonder why they can't just lay on top of you. “it's because you're suffocating me, ruto! you're too heavy to rest your whole weight on me.” when you'd told him that, he pouted so hard and had seemed so genuinely upset that you apologized, took him back in your arms and simply neglected your need to breathe for a little longer. he is also one hundred percent that guy who will deny wanting cuddles or any sort of skinship, but if you don’t give it to him, he will be mad at you. if you do give it to him, he’ll pretend he doesn’t like it. you just have to be a mind reader, i guess. all this to say that even if he doesn’t tell you outright, haruto definitely wants to cuddle to sleep. sure, you can fall asleep in his arms if you really want (he loves it), but he’d rather fall asleep on you like yoshi does, even though he’s way too heavy for that.

you fight every time you have to decide who gets to be the little spoon - junghwan

my son.. do you guys know that “thank you myson!” jimin meme… anyways… junghwan might have buffed up over the years but do not get him wrong, that man is a little spoon until the day he dies. if you are also the little spoon, you will have to fight. simple as that. you can decide if it’ll be a tickle fight, an argument where you try to prove why you defend to be the little spoon more, or an actual fist fight (you might lose though), you’ll have to settle it one way or another. no matter how much both of you try to deny it, you love it either way anyway. as much as you love the feeling of his arms around you, there’s something about holding such a big man in your arms like he’s half the size that he is.

our sleepy baby is a homebody at heart (so am i kyu, i feel you), but that doesn’t mean he won’t leave home when it comes to you inviting him places. maybe it’s more so because you seem to know exactly when he actually does feel like going out, but kyu finds it absolutely freaking heartwarming when you tell him excitedly about a place you want to visit with him or take him too. he feels special in that he’s the one you go to, not anyone else, when you want to experience something new with him because he might be interested. new experiences can be scary, but being with someone you trust makes them a tad bit less. so find new cafes, or restaurants, or art studios. tell him all about it because he will totally be down to try new things with you!

yoon jaehyuk gives me falling in love with someone even sweeter than him vibes. is that possible? almost not because we all know this boy is the embodiment of all things precious and sweet. but the moment this boy lays his eyes on you as you take his order at a cafe he stumbles upon one day, he falls head over heels for you and the way you seem to always recommend the perfect things for him to try every time he visits. further into your official relationship, jae lives for the times you go to him first whenever you try out a new recipe, bringing him the first batch of whatever pastry or dessert you bake. some are meh and the most others are drool-worthy, but jae finishes everything you make him nonetheless because the fact that you put your hard work into something and came to him first makes him realize how much trust you have in him in seeing possible flaws in your work.

please, every single time a tweet or weverse comes out with this boy’s film work, i literally swoon bc how is asahi literally the epitome of my aesthetic? he has the most beautiful pieces of photography ever and captures the smallest yet important moments with the members. that one thread of his film photos while he was out with ruto, hwan, jaehyuk, and i think also jeongwoo? those are my favorite roommates right there. that being said, because a lot of times, asahi takes candid photos of others in their natural state, he finds himself feeling really important and wanted when you show him a photo you had secretly taken of him. to him, it kind of feels like your way of saying, “hey, i think you’re beautiful in the times you might not think you are, because you’re perfect to me no matter what.” this bby wouldn’t know how to react when you show him because he’s so overwhelmed with emotion that he kind of just smiles and shrinks into himself, PLS he’s so adorable.

ah kim doyoung, our resident angel. we all know how our precious boy (or literally all of treasure) is so respectful of everyone whether he’s close with them or not, but his manner hands whenever he’s passing stuff to someone, or the way he seems to feed or give food to others before himself is something that tells me that our dobby would be absolutely enamored with someone with the same mannerisms. the first time he took you out to a family dinner (family dinner meaning a dinner with the other members), he would literally swoon when he catches you holding your hand under his sleeve when he’s reaching for something at the table, or when he catches you sneaking his favorite chicken pieces onto his plate. dobby sees you sitting back to let the other boys serve themselves before you, or to hand dish plates past you before taking food for yourself, and he can’t help but think about how perfect you guys are for each other.

the way you get along with his sister

we know that haruto loves airi so so much. the way he speaks about her and thinks about her during tmap so 37 (?) shows how much he loves his family, and how much he protects and cares for his sister. so when haruto sees you and airi playing and joking around with each other, completely comfortable with skinship as if she were your own little sister, he absolutely melts. just knowing that there’s someone other than his family that can make her smile has him feeling some kind of way, and a fond smile can’t help but make his way onto his face. he might tease you, asking if you like his sister better than him and pretending his heart doesn’t skip a beat when he sees you braiding airi’s hair, but the question alone just shows that he appreciates that you’re getting along with his family (and that he might be a little jealous lol).

mr. i can’t take a compliment but i will hype literally everyone i care about. ah, our lovely boy. our jeongwoo’s always been a little shy - no matter how loud he is, he’s still a true introvert and this might be why he finds it hard to take compliments easily. it breaks my heart when he says things that imply that he’s not handsome or that the other members are more handsome than he is because he’s so beautiful on the inside and outside, so i think that his s/o should often remind him of this. he would definitely feel butterflies when you compliment anything about him, his voice, his look for the day, his skills, his personality, blushing and looking down with a smile because he doesn’t know where to look. ask him why he’s so handsome, ask him what made him look so pretty, ask him why he’s so talented and amazing that you can’t believe how lucky you are to have him - this boy will not know what to do with himself. jeongwoo is so so so precious, and i hope that he realizes how much we all love him because he deserves the world. fun fact: jeongwoo is the first member i noticed (besides having already known yedam from the skz survival show) because i thought he was so pretty and funny lol.

i think we’re all well aware that our poor baby is just working his butt off to survive high school and i want to commend him immensely for all the hard work he’s put in academically while balancing the idol life. i don’t think i could ever survive a lifestyle as fast-paced as the one this boy lives and i’m so extremely proud of him for it. that being said, something tells me that junghwan would just absolutely appreciate any help and support you would give him while he’s balancing practice and school work. whether it be quizzing him for the next big exam he has or helping him out with chores just so that he doesn’t have to worry about them, he will fall for you a little bit more than he already has. he might not outright ask you for help, but the way that you somehow pick up on what he needs without him saying anything has him feeling a little more butterflies in his stomach just because of the way you know him so well without him even having to mention anything.

a/n: my first ever fic wohoo!! i wanted to start off by writing something for my ultimate bias yoshi sooooo.. well yeah please do request something on my profile if you like my writing!! i really appreciate all tips and support!

you were laying on your bed trying to stay awake. you had promised your boyfriend, yoshi to wait until he gets home to eat dinner together. you had woken up early to shower, clean the house, wash the dishes, change the sheets.

you got up from the bed walking over to your sofa and turning on the tv to watch your favourite series. episode 11, it's almost over. the main characters are still not together.

you kept closing your eyes almost falling asleep many times. you waited, and waited. the episode was over. no sign of yoshi. you started the last episode. 10 minutes in and you were crying. they had gotten together but the lead male killed the lead female. you couldn't watch it. you turned it off and opened youtube in hopes of finding some funny videos to laugh at. you did. but yoshi came home before you could start it.

"baby, i'm home" he called for you kicking his shoes off. "baby?" he called when you didn't run to hug him, or kiss him, or welcome him home. no you were laying on the sofa, all broken because of the drama, and because you were way too tired.

he walked to the living room. he was you and immediatly his eyes softened. "what's wrong?" he asked. "you're late" you answered. "i know baby, i'm so sorry" he said softly as he kneeled down in front of you caressing your shoulder while looking into your eyes. "you're never on time" you said feeling the urge to just start screaming at him and cry how worried he always makes you.

"baby.." he called looking down. "you know i don't do it bacause i want, i have no other choice" he was now caressing your head. his hand was comforting. he was comforting. you began crying. "sorry baby" you knew he felt bad. he hugged you. he kept mumbling sorry against your head silently. he let go of you when you tried to get up.

you sat up and stood on your legs. he got up too. you went to the kitchen. he followed you. you opened the fridge and pulled out three containers of food. you had made it for you two. you set them on the table and opened them. you grabbed the two plates you had earlier set down on the table. the fancy ones. you took one of them and took food on it. you warmed it up in the microwave. after it was heated you grabbed a fork and a knife and left him standing alone. you were mad. you for the first time actually were.

you were sitting on your shared bed staring at the screen of your laptop in front of you. you head the ding sound your microwave made. he had heated his food. you didn't hear the screeching your chairs would usually make so you assumed he was coming into the bedroom to be with you. you were right. he sat down next to you. you thought he would start eating but he set it aside on the bedside table.

"baby, can you look at me?" he asked softly. you did. you were looking at his eyes, he was on the verge of crying. you could tell. "i love you so damn much i could never leave you without any message for hours if it wasn't for my manager... he took our phones away and talked to us about some things" he explained.

"i know" you answered. you knew, you just wanted him to say it by himself. he kissed you. softly. just like he always did. he made you feel more loved than ever. something only he knew how to do.

"Damn, this house is really nice." Whose house, you may ask? Hopefully, your future employer's. You recently started college and have been looking for a pretty lenient job, and that's how you got here. A man, not much older than you, named Yoshinori needed a house-sitter. So here you were, about to enter for an interview. "You got this, y/n. You'll be fine." You press the doorbell. "One second! Sorry~" A sweet melodic voice tweets from behind the door. "Hello, come on in!" Appearing is one of the most gorgeous faces you've ever seen in your life. Long brown hair, shiny soft eyes, high strong nose bridge, a bright smile, and a pretty mole underneath his mouth to pair with it.

"Can I get you anything to drink?" "Just water is fine, thank you." He leads you to sit down on the couch in his living room, which is quite cozy, with a light brown sectional, a wooden and glass coffee table positioned in front of a flat-screen TV and front window. He comes back quickly with a glass of ice water with a cute curly straw. "Sorry, how rude of me. I haven't introduced myself. My name is Kanemoto Yoshinori, and you?" "Y/n, nice to meet you, Mr. Kanemoto." "Oh, please just call me Yoshi…" He chuckles nervously and rubs his neck. "Alright, nice to meet you, Yoshi."

You soon find out that he's looking for a house-sitter because he frequently works long hours throughout the week. "I just need you to do basic tasks like making sure all the plants are watered, the fish are fed enough, and that dust doesn't collect." Simple enough, it pays really well, considering those are your only major tasks. "Also, you would get weekends off. That's when I'm at home. My son Jeongwoo comes to visit me, he lives with his grandparents during the week." SON!? You had to refrain from letting your jaw drop, but you can't help but be shocked, as Yoshi only looked at most 4 years older than you. "Oh ok, well if that's all, I'd be happy to house sit for you, Yoshi!" "REALLY? Oh, I mean—ahem—really? Thank you so much!" You can't believe this man has a child; he acts so innocently. You swear you saw stars in his eyes when you accepted his offer. "Let's discuss more in-depth about payment and schedule, hmm?" "Sounds perfect to me."

You ended up spending two hours with him, chatting not only about your new job but each other's personal lives as well. You learned he's a music producer for a very big entertainment company, he has to be there for long hours due to the number of songs he has to make for many different artists. You learned he went to the same university you're currently attending and he graduated just last year. He gave you pointers on all the best spots to make friends and eat. You told him about how you plan to major in Linguistics and he was ecstatic, being a polyglot himself.

The most notable thing is that of his son, a 3-year-old named Jeongwoo, he says he's very timid but well-mannered and caring. Although there was no mention of Jeongwoo's mother and it seemed like he was purposefully so, you decided not to pry. "What an intriguing man…" It was Saturday, you had two days before you start this job. "Why do I already want to start now?" Laying down, looking at your ceiling, you can't help but let your mind wander. Checking the time, you realize if you want to get everything together by Sunday night, you have to head to bed now. "Goodnight, Yoshi. Please take care of me in the future."

"Daddy, how come I have to eat my salad if you haven't touched any of yours?" "Huh—" Yoshi looks down to realize he's barely eaten. "Oh, you're right, bud. It's not fair. Sorry, daddy will finish all his salad." He stuffs a bite into his mouth. "See, mmm yummy, now you have to as well, ok?" "Ok, daddy!" "Good boy." He couldn't stop thinking about earlier today. A pretty young girl like you wanted to get paid to do boring tasks around his house and just make sure nobody breaks in. You didn't even question too much about him and his son and seemed to be open-minded about it. This was something he surely wasn't used to. He couldn't place what, but it felt like you had bewitched him, all his thoughts were filled with you. It's a little weird because he just met you and you're just some 19-year-old looking to make some easy money. "I really should've gotten out more in college, not like I had much of a choice…" Creak "Daddy, you look sleepy, can we sleep together tonight?" As much as he feels he's missed out, he loves his kid so much. "Sure, buddy, let's clean up dinner first." "Ok!" He watches the little boy scurry with all the plates into the kitchen excitedly. "Be careful, slow down!"

"How come I never get to visit mommy?" Jeongwoo asks his father. Yoshi is a little taken aback. How could he tell his little boy that his mommy left them? "Well, you see, mommy lives very far, and it's not easy for you to visit her." "How far? Does she live all the way across the ocean?" "Yes, all the way across the ocean." "Can't we just take a plane?" "Planes are expensive, bud." "Can we do it once, when I have a holiday?" He adores his son so much, his persistence and curiosity is one of his favorite parts of being a parent. He can't believe that anyone could just leave such an amazing kid behind. "I'll see what we can do, buddy, but I don't know if mommy is going to be willing."

"Why?" His heart pains, he asks himself the same thing, why? He thought they were perfect together and that everything was going to be perfect just the three of them, but she left. "Mommy needs time. She's been through a lot." "Ok…" He can tell his son is no longer as bright as before, and it hurts just as much as he thought. "Hey, don't frown, daddy doesn't like when you frown. How about I sing you a lullaby tonight, hm?" The little boy eagerly nods his head in agreement. Your first day of house-sitting was a breath of fresh air after a hard day at school. You had a project in your semantics class. You were partnered up with a boy in your class named Doyoung. It brought a little bit of warmth to your heart. You thought it would be nice to tidy up the room a bit, so you put everything in its designated spot and close the door. You could tell Jeongwoo was just as nice as Yoshi had described, and you could tell he cares for his son a lot.

There's another bedroom directly opposite the one you recently exited. It was most definitely Yoshi's. You could smell the subtle scent of a nice clean cologne emanating from the room. You decided it would be best not to enter there without permission. You eventually found the bathroom as well, but afterward, your stomach made an incomprehensible rumble. You ventured into Yoshi's kitchen, finding some basic ingredients for an omelet and toast. After a bit of whisking, chopping, frying, and toasting, you had a simple, wholesome meal ready. You took a bite and started to get out your computer when you suddenly hear the front door unlock.

"Ahhhh, where is it? I swear I left it right here. Oh—" You are confronted with a very disheveled Yoshi. Even then, he still looked as gorgeous as before. His eyes were like the ocean. "Hi, Y/N. Sorry to startle you." "It's fine. It is your house, after all." He has a look of surprise on his face mirrored by your own. "I had forgotten some lyrics I was working on last night." He chuckles, and the vibrations send a tingling feeling throughout your body.

"You didn't happen to see them lying around, did you?" "Uhhh, I don't think so. I'm sorry." "No, no, it's totally okay. I'll find them." A little less frazzled, he finally smells the food you made. "Oh, I made an omelet and toast from some food you had in the fridge. I hope that's okay." "Yeah, that's fine. I'm sorry for interrupting you. You can go back to eating if you want." You can tell he may need some help, but you appreciate him trying to be considerate. "Let me help you out. I finished pretty much all the tasks you gave me, so I can put off eating for a little longer. What did you say those lyrics looked like?" "It’s just a filing folder with lined pieces of paper. They should still be somewhere here in the living room," Yoshi explains, gratefully accepting your offer.

Together, you start searching by the coffee table, flipping through various magazines and yesterday's mail, to no avail. Yoshi checks the nearby shelves and cabinets, his brows furrowing in concentration. You can't help but steal glances at him, the way his hair frames his face, the smell of his perfume hitting your senses every time he slightly passes by. The moment is intimate but not uncomfortable. You both continue to work diligently to find his paper, and for some reason, you have a sense of responsibility for making sure the papers return to their rightful owner.

After about 30 mins of non-stop scouring, Yoshi lets out a small sigh of frustration, running a hand through his hair. "I could've sworn I left them here." You glance around the living room one last time when your eyes land on a small stack of papers slid underneath the couch. You reach for them, pulling them out. "Are these the ones you're looking for?" Yoshi turns to look at you, a sparkle flickers in his sweet eyes. He quickly moves over, taking the papers from your hands and flips through them, "Yes, these are it! Thank you, Y/N." “I'm glad I could help, Yoshi." You felt almost like you were more relieved than he was. But it didn’t matter all that mattered has the smile radiating from his face. He chuckles, shaking his head. "No, seriously. If you weren’t here who knows how long it would’ve took. My boss isn’t the most patient to say the least." “Oh trust me I know how that feels.” At that, you both laugh, the tension from before completely dissipated. It's a nice moment, one that makes you look forward to continuing to house sit for Yoshi.

Yoshi, having found the missing lyrics, quickly gathered his things, thanking you once again before hurrying out the door. Left alone in the quiet house, you turned back to your half-eaten omelet, the cool air making it lukewarm. It wasn’t too bad thought so you finished your meal, finding comfort in the cozy home. After cleaning up your mess you pulled out your laptop and opened up the project you had been working on with Doyoung. Working through the project was a challenge, primarily due to the fact you had to work through what pieces of information he told you were actually relevant. You check through the little notes you guys actually got down and come up with an actually solid thesis.

After a few texts back and forth you and Doyoung managed to make significant progress, feeling a sense of accomplishment as she you finally closed your laptop. In that moment the sun was starting to set, you did one last look around the house, making sure that everything looked just as intended. As you locked the front door behind you, you found yourself looking back on the day of house-sitting. Anticipating what the week would look like. The walk back was refreshing albeit a little lonesome, you didn’t know why, but you suspect it was because of him.

The first week of the job was full of getting accustomed to the new environment. The house, despite its larger size, had a warm feeling that made you easily unwind. You found yourself settling into a comfortable routine, taking care of the house and its inhabitants (fish included) with vigor. Yoshi, despite being absorbed with his work, made sure to check in with you throughout the week. He’d call or text asking if you needed anything and if you were feeling comfortable.

One day, when you mentioned that you had forgotten to bring lunch, he knew the fridge was empty so he surprised you by dropping of some food from the grocery store right quick. “Oh Yoshi you didn’t have too, I could’ve gotten something delivered right quick.” “It’s ok I was on my lunch break as well anyways.” It was a small act, but it spoke volumes about his thoughtful nature. There were other little gestures throughout the week as well. But the most memorable was when you came in on Friday with a note left on the fridge, 'Thank you for everything Y/N, have a nice weekend ;)' written in Yoshi's neat handwriting. The small gestures also made your heart flutter, you found that you had to remind yourself that he is probably this nice to everyone. That didn’t stop your mind from being filled with constant thought of him.

“I mean you never know until you shoot your shot.”, Doyoung brazenly comments. "You play too much Dobby. He's just being nice, plus he's my boss," you get really defensive, however you’re not able to hide the blush creeping up to your cheeks. "And besides, he has a kid! I don’t know if he’s looking for that all, especially not from me." "Hey, all I'm saying is that the option is clearly available. And you can’t assume his feelings, positive or negative.” He smirks before taking another sip of his boba and continuing to work on your shared project. "Whatever Doyoung..." You roll your eyes at him, your voice trailing off.

Despite what you said, you can't help but acknowledge some truth in his words. Could there be a chance that your feelings for Yoshi weren't unrequited? You haven’t known him long but your thoughts were consumed by the image of him, even when you weren't at his house. His smile, his voice, his scent - they were all you hand on your mind these past few days. You shake your head, trying to clear those thoughts for now. "Doyoung, let's just focus on our project." He raises his brow at the comment but nods, turning his attention back to the work at hand. You try to do the same, but your mind keeps wandering back to Yoshi and the strange, yet warm, feelings that have started to bloom in your heart.

Every corner of Yoshi's house seems to leave an imprint of him. His music sheets scattered scross the coffee table, the doodles of him and Jeongwoo with little captions left on the fridge, the sandwiches left in the fridge for you in case you got hungry. You've gotten adjusted to his routine as well. You know when he gets off for lunch, what days he gets off early, his favorite snacks, and even his favorite songs and TV shows. He's your employer, but he treats you more as a friend, throughout the past few weeks you’ve been working for him you can’t help but feel like you’re relationship is a little more special than that of employer and employee. You can't help but wonder if this is how it always is for him, or if there's something more behind it. “Hey Y/N I have a favor to ask.” “Yeah sure Yoshi what is it?” It’s been about a month now you’ve started to eat dinner with Yoshi when he gets off early, tonight you decided on some chicken katsu, Yoshi was feeling a little homesick. “I was wondering if you’d like to meet Jeongwoo and if that goes well baby sit him this weekend? You’d get paid extra of course…”

Your eyes light up, “Really? I’d love to meet Jeongwoo!” He laughs, that laugh you have come to adore, “Yeah, my parents wanted to go on a day trip but I’m still going to have work that day so I’d need you to watch him till I get home.” “Sounds great to me!” You guys decided on which day this weekend you were going to plan to have you and Jeongwoo meet as well as what would be expected when you watch him the day Yoshi’s gone of course. You couldn’t believe it that Yoshi felt like he could trust you with something as important as this. Jeongwoo was his everything you could tell just from the way he spoke about his little one.

“Dude if you don’t ask him out already,” Doyoung wastes no time. After that project at the beginning of the semester the two of you quickly became best friends. “Oh my god bruh, shut up. You were back to the beginning standing on Yoshi’s doorstep prepping yourself to push the doorbell, this time you heart raced with more anticipation than before. Your first meeting with Jeongwoo was successful and you were set to babysit him this Thursday. And with Yoshi’s realization he was growing even more anxious. The last time he let someone into his life, the last time he loved someone, they left. Without a traces Jeongwoo’s mom left him, with only a note saying, “I’m sorry Yoshi. Your medicine is a cast and a nice big hug!” “Thank you so much Doctor.” Before you knew it it was dinnertime, hanging out with Jeongwoo has been so much fun that you didn’t even realize it was almost 7:30.

“Dad?”

Splinter is currently sitting on his bed, preparing to turn in for the night. He puts away the pillow he was fluffing up and turns to look towards the doorway of his room.

“Yes, Blue?”

Leo doesn’t answer, instead shuffling next to Splinter and sitting down on the floor, leaning his side against the bed. He lifts his face to look up at him.

All of his kids could benefit from a break, actually, and Splinter is glad that this is a fact – Leo won’t be singled out if they all are on a holiday of sorts. Brilliant. He knows he’s never been the perfect father, far from it, but he’s trying to do his best for his children and this time is no different. First thing tomorrow morning, he is going to tell his family of their impromptu vacation, and then take them out to Run of the Mill for pizza.

It’s a great plan.

Surfacing back to the present from his thoughts, Splinter realises that his musings must have taken longer than he thought because the turtle in his lap is now snoring quietly. With a soft chuckle, Splinter reaches back to grab his comforter and gently wraps it around Leo’s shoulders. He doesn’t mind acting as a pillow for his blue son and while he himself would be uncomfortable like that, partly on the floor, he’s witnessed enough turtle piles to know that the position is no hardship for Leo.

in 9th grade, the year you first started high school, you met the most beautiful boy on this planet. he joined a little later in the year, and you as class president had the duty of helping him settling in... even though you were just a freshman and still settling in yourself.

you got to school and waited by the front doors early in the morning on his first day. he was told to come early so you could show him around before the day started.

when a black motorbike pulled up, you didn't expect the owner of it to be your new boy. so you ignored it, staring at your shoes and wondering when he'd be arriving.

you looked up to meet the eyes of a boy dressed all in black, not in uniform probably because... he's new?

in the school cafeteria one day, Yoshi spoke to you as he slipped some of your favourite side dishes from his plate onto yours.

"how come you never ask to ride my motorbike like everyone else does?"

"'cause it's scary. and i don't really care that much," you lied. truthfully, you were dying to wrap your arms around his waist and let him drive you anywhere... just normal friend things, right?

Yoshi smirked, watching as you stuffed a spoonful of food into your mouth.

"yeah right," he teased, sticking his tongue out at you.

"Yoshi, can we take the class prez away from you for a second or are you too busy kissing their butt for better grades?" a classmate comes up to the two of you and asks.

your jaw is left hanging--you've never heard anyone speak like that before, only ever in movies.

"you wanna kiss their butt now, don't you? go ahead. i was just trying to have a meal with my friend," Yoshi bites back.

you gulp as your classmate rolls their eyes at Yoshi and turns to you with pleading eyes.

"what is it?" you ask.

"no one got question 3 right on the maths test but you and Yoshi, so we've all been having a hard time figuring out our mistake and were wondering if you could help us."

"sure. if you finish your lunch early, i'll be in the class to show you."

"thank you, y/n!" your classmate exclaims, clasping their hands together and running to their spot in the cafeteria.

"thank you, y/n!" Yoshi mocks them, scoffing and hurriedly eating his food.

"why are you eating so fast?" you ask.

"don't we need to be there to show them how question 3 is done soon?"

"who said you're coming with me?"

"shut up."

"okay, but why does he have to be here," your classmate asks, pointing at Yoshi while everyone sits in the classroom.

"literally the whole class is here right now, so of course Yoshi is here, too. now sit down and let me explain the question," you say.

the whole time while you explain question 3, the classroom is in deep gossip mode.

"of course Yoshi got the question right. he hangs around y/n so much."

"maybe he seduced them and got them to help him cheat?"

"him and that pretty face; he could get away with anything."

"he acts so tough with his bike but he can't even pass his classes."

"he's not good enough to hang around y/n"

the last comment broke him, and he couldn't stop thinking about it. was he dragging you down? was he making you waste all your energy on him? you deserve better, better than a friend who people perceived as someone who seduces others for good grades.

for the rest of the day, Yoshi was spaced out and quiet. you were worried something was wrong, but you didn't want to bother him. so, you didn't ask. you said your goodbyes by the parking lot at the end of the day and headed your separate ways.

and you never saw him again.

just like that, Yoshi disappeared as suddenly as he had appeared.

no one knew where he was, not even the school. they still called out his name for attendance each morning, even after weeks without a trace of him.

you cried a lot. you wondered if it was your fault. you wondered what Yoshi was silently suffering because of and you wondered why you weren't able to make it better.

although his social media was gone and he didn't answer his calls, you still texted his number, asking about him and updating him about your day. you didn't know he read your messages and treasured them, itching to reply to you but not being able to. not yet.

people would always ask you about Yoshi. you were even blamed for his disappearance as everyone wondered if you 'got rid of him' because he bothered you too much.

"that's not true! i'm more worried about where he is than any of you are, so how could i be the one who made him disappear?"

you sounded more confident than you felt, though.

meanwhile, Yoshi had left to pursue music. it was something of his own that he felt confident he could be more than good enough in.

he had tried at an audition without much hope, but after succeeding, he agreed to sign a trainee contract without hesitation. it was only later that he realized what a hell it was. it just wasn't for him. he wanted to go back to school, where he could see you and be your friend, even if people told him he wasn't good enough.

he could only take a year of it before he broke his contract and fled. he had no regrets, though, because he walked away with more experience in music than he'd ever had before.

"Yoshinori?"

"here," came the voice behind you.

your head whipped around, as did everyone else's, and there he was. Yoshi was back in his spot as if he'd never left.

you rubbed your eyes and pinched your arm, wondering if it could really be true.

Yoshi ignored everyone stares, gasps, and mutters and only focused on you. he only returned your gaze, and with a smile.

"Yoshinori, where have you been the past year?"

"I spoke to the principal about it and everything has been sorted. I apologize, teacher," Yoshi said.

you'd never heard him speaking so reverently. even the teacher and rest of the class were shocked, and you wondered just what he'd been up to.

as excited as you were to see him, you let the pettiness come first.

at lunchtime, Yoshi followed you to the cafeteria, trying hard to get any words out of you while you kept quiet.

"i know. i know i'm awful to have left you hanging like that but... just let me explain, please? you'll hear me out, right? are you mad? don't be mad, y/n--"

"how can i not be mad?" you yelled. luckily, the cafeteria was already so loud that you weren't causing so much of a disruption.

Yoshi dropped his head slightly but reached for your shoulder with his hand.

"i know... no, i don't know. but i do know that you're definitely allowed to be mad right now. but i'm not willing to lose you this easily so.."

"so explain then," you told him, walking to where you'd usually sit with him.

Yoshi told you everything. he told you how your classmates made him feel like crap, like he didn't deserve to be your friend and so when he passed an audition for an entertainment company, he left without a word, thinking it would be better for him to never talk to you again. then, when he wanted to reach out, he couldn't, since his company had banned online communication. finally, he found the courage to come back.

"Yoshi.. i wish i'd known," you said, pity in your face and voice.

he shook his head and grinned, moving your favourite side dishes from his plate onto yours again, as always.

"it's okay. we're here now. and i want to study harder so people will stop saying you pity me 'cause of my face," Yoshi said.

the awkward air between the two of you quickly faded, and you shared a lunch just like you always did. as you were putting away your plates and cutlery, Yoshi asked if you'd be willing to go to the school yard with him quickly before classes resumed.

there, he told you he had something important to tell you.

"this may be sudden or random, but i only realized this now myself. i think.. from the moment i met you, i was somehow drawn to you. you helped me feel so comfortable and when i was away from you... i couldn't breathe. i wanted to contact you so badly and anyways i think... no, i know that i like you, y/n. as more than a friend. i know i jist came back after so long, so let's take it slow. we can go on dates and get to know each other again and--"

you wrapping your arms around Yoshi's shoulders and pulling him close for a hug caught him off-guard. he choked on his words, his cheeks turned red and he returned your embrace after hesitating many times.

you didn't realize how badly you'd been needing to hear everything Yoshi said. finally hearing it made you instinctively reach out to hug him.

once you pulled away and looked at him, the pretty boy who was wearing his uniform so neatly for the first time, the wind blowing through his soft hair, you realized how lovable he's always been to you.

"let's do it, Yoshi. let's go slow and take our time," you said, taking him hand in yours and admiring the feeling, the surge of butterflies and the smiles that crept on both of your faces.

i feel like hyunsuk isn’t really the type to initiate that much skinship. from the videos i watched just looking at interactions, he’s not as clingy to the members as the other boys (but that doesn’t mean he loves them any less! his heart is so full of love for them, we all know that). but! he has the habit of slinging his arm around the members’ shoulders. he’s mostly like this with doyoung. i was just watching a bunch of videos where hyunsuk babies him and it finally clicked in my mind after i struggled to come up with something. you and hyunsuk could just be standing around, waiting for your take out or waiting in line at the grocery or convenience store, and his chest would just be pressed to one of your shoulder blades to let you know he was there for you in case you needed him. his arm may or may not be slung around your shoulders, but he will still dip his head towards your ear to say something to you over the surrounding noise. it’s not exactly whispering sweet nothings, it’s literally just normal conversation that could be said out loud. but there’s something about bringing himself towards your face that makes hyunsuk feel closer to you (metaphorically and literally) and he just likes it. he’ll talk to you with his heart eyes trained on your face or the side of it, and he especially likes the way you tilt your head back at him (eye contact or not) to respond. heart definitely skips at the times you’ll lean your head back against his and if you tilt it enough to lay it on his shoulder (he’ll have his hand on your waist if you do this PLEASE DO).

park jihoon just has this thing about him that no matter how annoying (affectionate) he can be to someone, you can’t help but absolutely love him. jihoon is just so teasing by nature and i think it’s cute that he’s some sort of a special type of tsundere. he’s the type to give you tough love all the time and will take the time to scold you when you’re talking bad about yourself because he loves you so much and doesn’t want to hear this stuff about you. he wants you to know how loved you deserve to feel and is ready to give you that love. he gives me a lot of best friend to lover vibes because you’ll be joking around with him, he’ll refuse to play along, but then he’ll laugh and just wrap you into his arms when a pout forms on your lips. jihoon thinks the way you react is just cute - that annoying little shit (again, affectionate). the type of guy who you would have a “i swear we’re just friends” phase with but then literally be laying your head on him whenever you’re together or literally linking arms with him all the time. he does this a lot to hyunsuk but he’ll just shake his shoulders like he’s doing aegyo so that they hit you while you’re doing something so that you get annoyed, and then ultimately just pulls you toward him to stuff his face in your neck and just hug you so tightly that you have no choice but to let it happen.

i just found the most heartwarming youtube short of the junkyu day vlive and got inspired, so junkyu’s might be pretty long compared to the other members. basically, hyunsuk had been late for his class so he like was rushing out and then everyone started pretending to rush out too but junkyu was literally grabbing onto every single other member in the room bc he didn’t want them to leave and it was so so so precious. i think he would definitely be like this to his s/o because as much as the members portray him as a homebody and someone who likes his alone time, i think he does like to be accompanied by someone in particular - you. there’ll be times where you’re just getting up and you’ll find his hand on your shoulder, wrist, waist - whatever - and he doesn’t let you go until you finally let him know that you’re just getting water or going to the bathroom. he just needs to know where you’ll be because somewhere deep down, just knowing where you are makes him feel like he’s not alone, even if you’re in a complete other room. in the times that you have to go home early or you can’t stay at the dorms for the night because you have work or class the next day, junkyu will be clinging onto you all the way to your car or your front door, slowing you down so you can spend extra time with him. he’ll have his arms wrapped around you so that your own are locked to your sides, and he’s just looking at you with hearts in his eyes. presses a kiss to your cheek before finally letting you go, but then calls you when you’re finally in separate locations to make sure you’re safe. please protect his soul PLEASE.

there’s that one tiktok of him and junkyu during the mysterious class reaction cam where junkyu’s grabbing his arm and leaning his head on mashi’s shoulder that i probably watched too many times before ending up screen recording it and sending it to every single of of my friends - THAT alone has wormed its way into my brain and i will not forget about that little smug face he had. it was so soft and cute and attractive that i was mashi brain for the next few days because i could not stop thinking about how he would literally have a smirk form on his face whenever his s/o would lean their head on him. it makes him feel wanted - needed - like his s/o could inform him if there was something, absolutely anything and everything that you needed. mashiho view it as his right as your boyfriend to provide to you, and he understands this as his s/o’s way of telling him that they trust him and glad he’s someone they can rely on. his heart will flutter from the moment you gently wrap your hands around his bicep before linking your arms to the moment you drop your head onto his shoulder and trail your fingers down to play with his own. once the initial smugness wears off, he’ll have the most content little precious smile on his face. he’s so happy with you that there’s no use in the members teasing him because he will outright agree with them - yes, he’s definitely in love you, and yes, he would gladly stay in this position for the next 72 hours.

we all know how much this sweet boy love his members and his kisses and his cuddles (this boy deserves all the love please). jae, of course, is big on kisses so no doubt would he be trying to plant one on you whenever he can because unlike the members, you gratefully and accept it and do it back. however, there’s something about the way that he’s always patting and fluffing the other members hair that has my heart go kaboom. maybe it’s because he does it with the softest smile on his face, or with his arm wrapped around the member but it. is. the. cutest. i feel like jaehyuk would do this to his s/o with absolute heart eyes. it doesn’t matter what you’re doing but jaehyuk always thinks you look cute. you could be preparing your lunch, doing the laundry, rushing out of the door because you’re late for class, eating a bowl of cereal very very sleepily, eyes half open, and jaehyuk will still be absolutely in love. he’ll just be sitting next to you, watching as your hand drags on the table to grasp his, while the other lazily scoops some cheerios into your mouth. jae only giggles as you slowly chew, using his free hand to gently ruffle your hair before allowing you to drop your head onto his shoulder.

i really struggled with finding an asahi skinship habit and ended up using a completely different love language because asahi isn’t the type to initiate skinship, but he definitely doesn’t reject it. he lets anyone hug him, coddle him, hold his hand, and he’s not opposed to it. he even said himself that he usually waits for other people to approach him. i think it might be that way in the first part of your relationship with him, but i definitely think that it’ll become more and more comfortable for asahi to just wrap his arms around you out of nowhere. granted, he’ll probably opt to interlace your fingers more often (the things i would give to hold his pretty hands). that being said, asahi seems to be the least clingy of all the members. but, i realized that he does tend to initiate skinship when there’s a reason to do it (like doing something for the members), like helping you up, holding your hair back when you’re eating, or brushing an eyelash away from your face. i think that type of skinship would not be rare in your relationship because there’s a purpose for it, and asahi feels the need to do it because he’s your boyfriend. i think also if you two are sitting together, or are just generally near each other and are focused on something else, you both move your hands and they land near each other. asahi would just unknowingly catch them as they brush by his skin and would pull your fingers through his or cradle your hand in his. i feel like his hands are just so delicate and beautiful that just that action will have your heart fluttering. i think one big thing he really likes is when you pull his hand into your lap to play with his fingers!

snuggling / hiding his face in your neck

wow okay when i tell you i’m in love with bang yedam, i mean i am in LOVE with bang yedam. he’s the sweetest, most talented boy (albeit frat-like ngl but we love him anyway). yedam is so clingy and for some reason that was a surprise to me when i first started stanning. he’s got so much love for his members and even though he acts super cool, at the end of the day, he just wants the others to know much he loves and cares for them. if anyone remembers the way he hugged dobby when he found out he was his manito, please cry with me. the way he held onto doyoung’s neck with a smile of realization and then threw himself into his younger friend’s arm and buried his cute face into his neck, please i was crying i want a yedam hug so bad. you know that thing where he just goes up behind a member and puts his hands on the members neck or shoulders before just stuffing his face into their neck? yeah THAT. yedam would do that so so so much with you because 1) he loves you 2) he thinks you smell good 3) he just wants to be close to you at all times every day and 4) he loves you. he will not fail to giggle at the way you squirm, but he can hear the smile in your voice when you tell him that he’s tickling you. yedam only proceeds to press tiny kisses onto your neck, finally letting go when you turn to meet his lips with your own, but that doesn’t mean he’ll keep his hands off you! definitely keeps his hands or arms around you.

although this kid is the king of flirting and cheesy pickup lines, i do believe that he isn’t the biggest on physical touch. not that he hates it of course - him pulling mashi onto the couch to cuddle with him, or his clinginess to junghwan is something that is really heart fluttering. but i think that he does seem to prioritize words of affirmation and acts of service most! he’s always telling the members, especially jeongwoo, how handsome they are (bless his heart, i hope jeongwoo can become more confident about himself bc he’s absolutely beautiful) and making sure the other members are fed before he eats too. but i’ve seen doyoung initiate smaller acts of physical touch with the members (ignoring the way doyoung’s always touching junghwan’s chest lol). i don’t think doyoung has a particular habit regarding physical touch - normally his skinship is ultimately still an act of service like asahi (like when he held jeongwoo’s hand to stop him from biting his fingernails). however, i think that this angel would without a doubt rub your back in a ways of comforting you or just if you’re sitting next to him and the both of you are focused on something else. maybe you’re watching tv or the other members play games, but his hand would just unconsciously move to your back or shoulder to draw little shapes or just rub up and down - like he did to junkyu in that one dad is sleeping video. it’s become so natural between the two of you that sometimes neither of you notice it happening until another members asks if you're feeling okay or if your back hurts or anything. a lot of times you both freeze, doyoung not even realizing what he was doing, and you both give cute little laughs (dobby’s bunny smile PLEASE TT). the members might tease the two of you a little, but they all secretly think the two of you are cute.

渡辺温斗、WATANABE HARUTO !

his hands always seem to return to your waist

through the past few weeks i’ve come to love treasure, i’ve learned that haruto has a tendency to place his hands on the members waist. when junkyu had accidentally hit him with the jump rope and ran to him for a hug, haruto’s arms hugged junkyu around the waist. when jeongwoo felt bad that he had burned the meat during that one cute treasure map episode, haruto comforted and reassured woo by patting / rubbing his waist. then, very recently, during the be with me couple ending fairy at the trace concert, haruto grabbed dobby by the waist after the lights went out when they were laughing at each other, and i thought that was the cutest thing. there’s no doubt in my mind that he would do that to his s/o. its unintentional, but his hands and arms just seem to return to your waist. he’ll brush past you by moving you to the side with his hands on your waist, and he’ll be the type to give you a lot of back hugs when he thinks no one’s looking. he’s a bit of a shy boy, so he only initiates back hugs when you’re preoccupied with something (exhibit a: that one hello 82 video? i think when he was hugging yedam ; exhibit b: when junkyu got exposed that haruto was his ideal type and haruto wouldn’t let go of him for the rest of the live). maybe the waist thing is because he’s so tall, but either way, haruto will have ways to unknowingly fluster you all the time.

박정우 、PARK JEONGWOO !

twirling your hair and wiping the skin around your face for any crumbs

please, park jeongwoo has no reason to be so soft and cute around the members. i was having trouble picking just one type of skinship for him because he does the most heart fluttering actions towards the members. the way he just twirls his and the members’ hair out of habit is the cutest thing to me because he’s just a ball of wholesome energy and he just contains it by doing this omg he’s so cute. you and jeongwoo probably had been friends long before you ended up together, but it isn’t until you’re dating that you realize how often he plays with your hair when you’re just sitting together. jeongwoo never fails to gently grab your chin if you ever get remotely close to him (asahi once got close to him to read comments during a vlive and jeongwoo….just gently held his face - please) or tilt your face to face his own before using the tips of his fingers to gently brush away the remaining crumbs of the snack you just shared. the kid just has the softest look on his face when he does it (have i mentioned how pretty his eyelashes are?) and you never fail to blush when you watch him do it. his eyes are completely focused at the task at hand, then suddenly they meet yours, and jeongwoo just gives you the sweetest, close-lipped smile while giving your cheek one last brush with his thumb.

소정환 、SO JUNGHWAN !

bear hugs with his face pressed on top of your head

so junghwan, my precious boy. if you think that his hugs would not be warm or cuddly or soft, you are absolutely wrong (let’s ignore the fact that this kid looks older than me and has been hitting the gym - he’s still a baby in my eyes). but the way that he comforted and hugged hyunsuk during trace has been ingrained in my mind. with his arms wrapped around you tightly, head leaning on yours so that your face is literally squished against his neck / chest, you will feel absolutely comforted and protected like no one can hurt you. junghwan seems like he would be such a safe space. his hyungs have said many times before that despite his young age, he is a very mature and reliable boy, so i think that will translate a lot to how he is in a relationship! you are never afraid to go to him with your concerns, worries, or when you’re just tired and need a break because this sweetheart will always be down to listen to you, comfort you, and make you feel better. i think that through the years, i’ve come to know maknaes of kpop groups to be the ones that don’t want to be babied, but i feel like junghwan openly accepts all the love and care that the older members give to him, and there is no doubt in my mind that all the love he receives will be projected out to every single person he loves as well.
