wait.. i’m literally on here or weibo almost 24/7 ( as you can tell lol ) but I feel like i missed something. i’m seeing clowning related to xz’s photos and how it looks like he is a groom and it’s a wedding photoshoot. the place is also famous for wedding shoots ( allegedly, idk. i’m not from there ) so turtles are imagining again. lol. freakin coincidence that wyb’s GRA photoshoot was done at a wedding shop. plus the “wedding outfits” for weibo night. which is all clowning and galaxy braining.🌌

now, we’re joking around, like where’s yibo? he should be taking photos with his partner.

then i see comments that there is this one song WYB recently listened to. meaning, as recent as when XZ flew to singapore which is called 超人不会飞 (superman can’t fly) by Jay Chou. i know WYB and everyone else is a big fan of Jay Chou but the clowning comes from the timing of when he listened to it. let me get to that first.

turtles are interpreting it as WYB longing to “fly” to where XZ is and be with him but he can’t because of all his work commitments. he wants to take a breather. thinking about what his life is and the constraints, and at times like this, when they spent days in Beijing, but now they have to be apart, it affects him even more.

however when i read the lyrics, it could also be because he can relate to what jay chou is singing about. here’s the english translation i found here. i have bolded the ones i felt like WYB relates too. literally no need for explanation. just read it. It fits with his status in life so much that it’s almost scary.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with how cpfs are relating this to cpn cause that’s just how it is. But sometimes, there are other reasons why they do what they do.

SO MY CONFUSION COMES FROM HOW THE HELL DO PEOPLE KNOW WHAT HE RECENTLY LISTENED TO. I can’t seem to dig up how or maybe it’s something we don’t talk about. I have never experienced this kind of tidbit related to them before so I wanna know the source. Or is this like the gaming cpn where certain people know and they will not divulge the boy’s account for privacy? if anyone knows, feel free to comment. If i find out in the future, I will share.

Summary:

Are you new to the world of Chinese web-novels and don’t know where to start?

Maybe you’ve read a few and don’t know what to read next?

Do you wish there was place that had an interactive collection of c-novels that you can filter by genre and translation status, has information about the novels and links of where to read them?

May I present.... Shen-Daozhang’s C-Novel Reading List

I’m a librarian irl, and I love making lists of media. I also love Chinese web novels, and friends often ask me for recommendations, or for help finding where to read a novel. I also wanted a place for myself where I could remember what I thought about novels that I’d read. But I wanted it to be more than just a long text post list with links. I wanted it to be pretty! And I wanted it to be filterable by genre and translation status, and some other factors too.

So, to that end, I decided to make a interactive libguide list here on tumblr. I then decided that instead of just keeping it to myself and my friends after putting in all that work, it might be a resource that’s helpful to other people! Hence this post!

In addition to the list being filterable by genre, translation status, and whether it’s a good first read or one of my personal favorites, in each novel's description you can easily see how many chapters it is, its genre, if there are any adaptations, a quick summary- and, if I've read it, my thoughts. I have also included a link of where to read it, as well as links to my own tumblr posts and reblogs about the book, because if you're like me you're influenced to pick up a novel by seeing what it seems like through tumblr posts.

So, for my art music video collab with my best friend, Matty aka AltoonaYourPiano on YouTube, I drew several of our original characters to be featured in the story. This first set features Dr. Crow (aka Tsubasa Hoshino, who I call Eric after The Crow with Brandon Lee) whom is a homage to my imaginary SO, Karasu from Yu Yu Hakusho as we know him (FYI: I hallucinate fictional characters and have creative lucid dreams, which is both a blessing and a curse, LOL!) with some nods to my other villainous crushes I compare my SO to, being Dr. Kiriko from Black Jack, and Vicious from Cowboy Bebop; as well as our original characters, Steven James Gayle (and, yesh, he was originally inspired by Android 17 from DBZ), and me as a cartoon character (aka Sha Pris Amaranth), who are both cosplaying Funky Kong and Candy Kong from the Donkey Kong video games (just change "Candy" on the tee to "Nabi" which is one of my nicknames) with hints of our kindred spirits Hong Yun-seong and Seong Mi-Na from Soul Calibur here, LOL! Sha normally wears her hair like Mi-Na anyhow (especially the high braided ponytail in SCIV), seeing as Mi-Na is my kindred spirit and inspiration. Square Enix - Segredos sobre a fusão de duas empresas marcantes

Hoje em dia a Square Enix é a fusão de duas empresas antigas que produziam JRPGs, no caso a Squaresoft e a Enix, que produziram Final Fantasy e Dragon Quest, respectivamente, no entanto, com o advento da fusão entre as duas empresas japonesas em 2003, resultando na Square Enix, e uma nova franchise se consolidou com a fusão dessas dias empresas: Kingdom Hearts(2002). A Square Enix Co., Ltd. original foi formada em abril de 2003 a partir de uma fusão entre a Square e a Enix, sendo esta última a empresa sobrevivente. Cada ação ordinária da Square foi trocada por 0,85 ação ordinária da Enix. Na época, 80% da equipe da Square Enix era formada por ex-funcionários da Square. A empresa é dividida internamente em várias divisões de negócios e desenvolvimento, cada uma focada em diferentes projetos. O modelo de negócio segue a ideia de “conteúdo polimórfico”, que consiste em desenvolver franquias em diferentes hardwares e mídias. Além de jogos eletrônicos, a empresa também produz filmes e animações, mangás, livros e produtos licenciados.

Enix

A Enix Corporation foi fundada em 1975 com o nome de Eidansha Boshu Service Center pelo arquiteto japonês Yasuhiro Fukushima. A empresa inicialmente publicava tabloides, sendo renomeada como Enix Corporation em 1982 e entrando na indústria dos jogos eletrônicos com uma competição de programação. A empresa publicou diversos games para várias plataformas pelos anos seguintes. A Enix ganhou maior notoriedade por publicar os títulos da série Dragon Quest com a ajuda da desenvolvedora Chunsoft, assim ajudando a fazer crescer uma grande franquia de JRPG em solo nipônico, e nos EUA a série ficou conhecida como Dragon Warrior.

Squaresoft

A Squaresoft foi criada por Masafumi Miyamoto em 1983, originalmente como a subsidiária de uma empresa de energia chamada Den-Yu-Sha, atuando no desenvolvimento de games para PC. A Square Co. Ltd. se separou da Den-Yu-Sha em setembro de 1986, desenvolvendo games para o Family Computer, que não fizeram muito sucesso, e corria o risco de falir, até que Hironobu Sakaguchi e a equipe dele vieram com um projeto arriscado e audacioso: Final Fantasy. Em 1987, Final Fantasy foi lançado no Japão e estourou como um grande sucesso, o que inspirou a Squaresoft a desenvolver continuações da série, bem como outros games, tais como Chrono Trigger(este game teve a participação de Hironobu Sakaguchi, Yuji Horii e Akira Toriyama), Secret of Mana, Vagrant Story e Kingdom Hearts. A Squaresoft teve uma boa parceria com a Nintendo durante a época do SNES, no entanto, declinou com a produtora de Super Mario, ao perceber que a mídia do Nintendo 64 era baseada em cartucho, muito limitada, e demandava altos custos de produção, passando para o lado da Sony com o recém-chegado PlayStation, ao perceber que os games em formato CD tinham maior espaço de armazenamento de dados e baixo custo de produção, sendo um dos maiores sucessos, Final Fantasy VII que vendeu 14.10 milhões de unidades no console desenvolvido pela Sony.

2003 - Fusão das duas empresas

No começo dos anos 2000, ambas as duas empresas estavam passando por problemas financeiros. No caso da Squaresoft, o risco de falência era elevadíssimo, ainda mais por causa do fracasso de Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. A Enix, por outro lado, buscava se unir com alguma companhia por conta do aumento dos custos de produção... No entanto, com o sucesso de Final Fantasy “X” e Kingdom Hearts, a Enix decidiu se fundir com a Squaresoft e em 1º de abril de 2003, nascia a Square Enix. No cenário mais recente, a empresa está de destacando com os Pixel Remasters da primeira Hexalogia de Final Fantasy, e Live a Live 2022, o remake em estilo HD-2D de um clássico underrated que ficou preso ao SFCES em 1994, e que mais tarde recebeu tradução não-oficial para o inglês feita pela Aeon Genesis Translation Projects.

Bounty Hunter - Dark Curly Hair, Brown Eyes

Warnings: swearing, mentions of death.

Pairing: Bellamy Blake x Grounder!reader.

Word count: 2118

So, I had a little writing storm and this came out (there are more parts written) so I decided to post it. Please tell me your thoughts!! I will post the second part tomorrow or something.

P.s: I used a Trigedaslang translator for this so don’t blame me if some of the things are wrong, I don’t speak Trig.

You walked into the room, clenching the bag in your hand as you bowed your head in recognition. Lexa raised her hand, signaling the guards to leave. They looked at you with suspicion but left the room nevertheless. “Do yu don chit ai seek gon?” Do you have what I seek for?

“Sha.” Yes.

You dropped the bag on the floor, the head of a dead Azgeda warrior rolling out. Lexa nodded her head in approval. “Good job, Nokeryon.”

“Ai gaf in ai gold.” I want my gold. You said, taking a step closer to the throne. Lexa threw a small sack of gold to your feet. “Yu hofli yu don bilaik gold. Ba ai yu don moun mission gon yu.” You may have you gold. But I have another mission for you.

You rolled your eyes. “Fos, ai gaf in ai hana.” First, I want my favor.

“Speak.” She said, nodding towards you. She eyed the sack, still laying on the floor. You glanced at it and then looked up. “Ai gaf in a gouthru klir between ogeda clans.” I want a safe passage between all clans.

“Ait, ai grant yu gouthru klir gon walk raun ogeda lands kom twel clans.” Alright, I grant you safe passage to walk in all lands of the twelve clans.

“Na ai yu don dei de written daun o something?” Can I have that written down or something? You said, not wanting the same thing to happen again. When you walked into Trishanakru with no clan mark the people were not happy with a stranger walking into their home.

“Hir,” here, she stood up and walked to the table to her left, picking up something shiny, “gon gouthru through ogeda clans.” For passage through all clans.

You took the sliver piece from her, twisting it in your hand before placing it in one of your pockets. “Nau, oso na chichplei hashta bilaik hana.” Now, we can talk about your favor.

“Ai gaf yu gon gyon au south kom hir, raun village. Der are brana kru der, Skaikru. Provide information gon Ai.” I need you to go south from here, near the village. There are new people there, sky people. Provide information for me.

“Got em, ai op yu later, Heda.” Got it, see you later, Commander. You said and walked out of the room, ready for your next mission. You slipped on your cloak, hoping no one would see you. You didn’t really like it when people knew you were in town. Before you left you prepared yourself with some food and water to last you for the ride. The village was a long way from Polis.

You decided to camp in after it turned dark, tying your horse to a tree. You lighted up a small fire and laid on your cloak, using it as a pillow. You stared at the fire as you started dosing off. That was your life, mission after mission, victim after victim, payment after payment. It was pretty simple when you thought about it. Lexa and other rulers and ambassadors needed favors, a few people killed, and who was better to the job then a trained scout and a professional assassin like you.

Ever since you were a kid you’ve been trained to fight, wanting to avoid your parents’ fate. They were killed by the Mountain Men, not being able to fight back. You didn’t really remember them, you were only three when they died. You lived in a small village, in a house that was distanced from the rest of the people. Almost no one knew which clan your parents were from, they moved a lot. So when your parents died, you were left alone, with no clan mark. Luckily for you, Nyko found you. He trained you, kept you safe, and eventually let you go when you wanted to start living your own life. You were a bounty hunter, an assassin, a scout. That’s how you lived.

You left at first light, arriving near their camp after only two hours. You left your horse in the village close, the new peace maker or whatever that Lexa gave you coming handy. You got closer, hand on your sword. You were in this area a few times with Nyko and a few more while crossing paths in your way to another mission. But now there was a wall - well, not exactly a wall, more like a lot of pieces of different materials tried up together.

You went around it but found no way in but a tunnel that led inside. You didn’t go in, knowing that the threat inside will probably spot you the second you go in. So you wait, listening. You didn’t hear any Trigedaslang, only English. You heard faint footsteps to your right, standing up from your crouching position. A few people passed by, far enough from you to not spot you. You could see a blonde girl, and two other guys walking away from the camp. You turned to follow them but then heard footsteps right behind you. You turned back and saw a man, a grounder, walking towards the camp. You walked after him, taking out your sword and pressing it against his throat.

“Don’t move.” You said, watching as his hands slowly went to the air. “Turn raun.” Turn around. The man turned, now facing you. He had a few scratched and bruises on his face but you still recognized him. “Lincoln,” you said, “chit laik yu doing hir?” What are you doing here?

“Ai could as op yu same question.” I could ask you the same question. He said.

“Ai laik ona a mission. Yu?” I’m on a mission. You? Before he could answer, another sword was pressed to your throat and a voice of a female was heard behind you. “Step back.” You quickly reached with you other hand to your knife, twisting it in your hand before placing it to the girl’s throat. You could tell she was from Skaikru, noting her clothes and choice of language.

“Drop it.” You said, pressing the blade harder against her throat. “ It’s okay Octavia, you can trust her.” Lincoln said from behind you.

“Can you? She has a sword to your throat and a knife to mine.” The girl, Octavia, said, glaring at you. You saw the doubt in her eyes as she lowered her sword, placing it at her side. “Good.” You said and withdrew both of your weapons. You opened you mouth to speak but before you could an explosion was heard not too far from where you were.

“What the fuck was that?” You said, turning to Lincoln, but he ignored you and looked at Octavia. “We need to go, they’re here.”

“Wha- who? Who is coming? Lincoln, what’s going on?” You asked, looking between the two. He stepped closer to you, putting both hands on your shoulders. “There’s a war coming, I need to go. Meet me at the cave, I’ll explain everything. But now you have to go.”

Even though you had suspicion running through your body at his words, you nodded, trusting Lincoln. Without another word, you ran off, making your way to the cave. You wanted to stop and get your horse but you didn’t know where you would be going afterwards. You sat there for what felt like hours, entertaining yourself with throwing your many knifes on trees, enjoying watching every knife perfectly hit the middle of the tree. The eventually sat down on a rock in the cave, shaping your sword with a rock. You jumped, sword in your hand as Lincoln ran in, a barely conscious Octavia in his arms.

“What happened?” You asked and ran to him, helping him to put her on the ground. You looked at the wound on her thigh, it was poisoned, which meant a grounder shot it. “It’s poisoned, what happened?”

“Look, there’s not time to explain, I’m sorry. I need to find a way to save her.” He said, clearly trying to get his head cleared as well.

“Do you want me to get an antidote?”

“No, I’ll get it myself but thank you. Do you know where Nyko might be?” He asked and his gaze immediately fell on Octavia as she stirred awake.

“I think he’s at the village. At least he was when I left my horse with him.”

Octavia looked at you, confusion and then realization hitting her face. “W-wait, we have to go back. Bellamy’s still out there.” She said, trying to sit up, but her body wouldn’t let her.

“No, you need to stay here.” He said and put his hands on her shoulders to help her lay back down, then turned to you. “Can you go back, please?”

“What do you mean?”

“She won’t agree to leave if her brother isn’t safe, and I really need to get her the antidote. Can you go back and make sure he’s safe?”

You shook your head, trying to made sense of what he was telling you. “First you tell me what the hell is going on and then we talk about favors.”

He sighed, clearly not pleased with your answer. “About a week ago, their ship landed in our territory. Now, Lexa is angry therefore she sent an army to wipe them out. The army is already there and Bellamy, Octavia’s brother is still there. She won’t let me take her if he isn’t safe. I need you to go there and make sure he’s safe.”

“So let me get this straight, there’s an army out there to kill them and you want me to go there, in a war zone, to make sure this Bambi guy is safe?”

“Yes.” You shook you head and stood up, ready to leave. There was no way you were going in a war zone to save someone who you didn’t even know. “Please, Y/N,” your head snapped towards him as he said you name, “ I need you save her.”

“Don’t call me that.” You said in a low voice. “And fine, I’ll do it. You’re lucky I owe you one, Lincoln.”

“Thank you.” He said but you rolled your eyes and turned to Octavia. “What does he even look like?”

“Dark, curly hair, brown eyes, his name is Bellamy Blake.” She said in a small voice. You nodded and walked away.

As you got closer, you didn’t hear anything. On your way to the cave you heard gunshots, explosions and yelling. Now, it was quiet. You crouched behind a tree as you saw a man you identified as Tristan, on a horse. There were two guys tied to the horse, probably prisoners, and a guard behind them. You decided to take your chance as he got off the horse and walked towards them, sword in hand in clear intention to kill them. You stood up, lifting you knife and aiming before throwing it forward, a small smirk on your lips as it hit Tristan right in the face. You then ran forward, gripping two other knifes in your hands as you stabbed the guard in the side before reaching up and slashing his throat. You put on knife back in its holster and walked forward. You eyed the boy who’s eyes were glued to you, noting his curly hair and bloody face. You went with your instincts and walked to him, pressing your knife to his throat in case you were wrong.

“Blake?” You asked, eyes running over his face. He nodded. “Who is Octavia?”

“My sister, why? Where is she?” He answered almost immediately, concern written on his face.

“You Bellamy?” You asked, ignoring his own questions. “Yes,” he said, “where is Octavia? How do you know her?”

You put your knife in your holster before moving to Tristan’s body, ripping your knife from his face and placing it back in its place.

“Who are you?”

You stepped closer to him. “I’m nobody, I just owed Lincoln a favor. Your sister was safe the last time I saw her.” You pulled your knife out and took his hand, placing it in it. “Here, I saved you ass. Now, don’t get into anymore trouble.” You said and walked away from him. All you had to do now was get your horse and get back to Polis for your payment. You started walking to the village, trying to clear your mind and get back on track. You immediately stopped when you saw a few people ahead of you in hazmat suits. Mountain Men. Your hunch was right, but before you could attack, run or hide, you were hit in the back of the head, knocked out, dropping on the ground.
