And a funny coincidence to note here is that, the people who ship these non-canon ships are usually the ones who are nice, friendly, and welcoming. While the people who ship the canon ships are usually the ones who are toxic and rude.

Today, I had an argument with a hater who called me dumb because of my fangirl moment on a post. 😑 And so sometimes, I think to myself. Why is it that I find myself shipping non-canon couples? What is it with me that I find other people to ship than what is already pronounced in the series?

But then again, I realize I'm not only shipping couples just for the heck of it. And just because they're canon, doesn't necessarily obligate me to ship them.

I ship and pair people when I see the romance potential in them, when their dynamics can bring fire to the story, or when they can compliment or align with each other in ways I see fit. It's not just about the lovey dovey stuff for me. It is also the understanding, cooperation, trust, functionality, and compatibility that I can see in them that makes a good and healthy ship for me.

If I see that in a canon couple, then I won't have any problems shipping them. That's all the better. But if not, then it's not necessarily a bad thing.

So to you my fellow shippers of the ships mentioned above, don't lose heart over these toxic people. Your choices and preferences don't necessarily define you. It is our attitude on how we handle our ships that does.

Nobody is perfect. But here's to hoping for a fun and healthy social media experience for everyone ~ ❤️

I don’t think you’re weird for shipping Yuno x Noelle! While I personally don’t ship them (I ship Asta x Noelle, and I don’t ship Yuno with anyone but an OC 😆), I know there are a lot of people out there that do! It is one of the more interesting crackships in the fandom 😆, I can certainly see it being an “enemies to lovers” type of situation! I talked about the ship a bit HERE in this opinion for my 700 event where I go into a bit more detail about it (and admittedly it is a very…honest opinion 😅)

Hmmm... I'm not really invested in Noelle ships, but since I prefer the Astelle ship, I guess I'd need to say YuNoelle? I really don't mind the ship, but since I'm not really invested in Noelle ships, I take what canon gives me. It's a boring answer, but that's how it works with me.

21. If you’re a fic writer and have written for this character, what’s your favorite thing to do when you’re writing for this character? What’s something you don’t like?

I think that the majority of fics I've written with Noelle, have been about the Silva sibling dynamics. So, with that, I suppose that my favourite thing to do with her, is to explore her feelings about her family and her siblings; explore the family dynamics. Themes such as forgiveness and moving on. Perhaps not even forgiving for the sake of others, but for herself, because carrying hatred and resentment is a heavy burden to bear.

But with that, I also don't like the idea of writing Noelle as a malicious type of a person who'd practically laugh in the faces of her siblings with something like "haha, forgive you? never in a million years". Which... is something I'm sure a certain side of the fandom would like to see.

Noelle is a strong person. And the act of forgiving isn't the same as submitting or allowing oneself to be trampled on. I think that's one of the things I like to portray in my fics with Noelle.

24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?

Oh this is a hard one. Because there are a lot of themes about Noelle that I don't recall in other characters in the anime that I've seen... And I'm not a really big fan of any Marvel or DC movie/comic series either. There's just... not a whole lot of anything good on these days.

So, perhaps I'd have to say that Noelle is one of a kind.

Hi! So I write stuff but they mostly don’t see the light of day. I decided to try out these writing prompts for practice and this is the first one I came up with. It’s my first fan fiction.

When I saw this prompt, I instantly thought of Yuno and Noelle from Inflection Point by @fengreyfront . That story is so well written and it is one of my fave Black Clover fan fics of all time. So basically this is fan fiction of a fan fiction?

English isn’t my first language and I don’t have a beta so I apologize if the english is a bit wonky.

Stay The Night

Pairing: Yuno x Noelle / Yunoelle

Noelle never stayed.

She was adamant in keeping the thing between her and Yuno a secret so she was very careful to leave his room at the dead hours of the night, making absolute sure that no one saw her. But with her coming to him nearly every night now, she knew she was pushing her luck.

She was curled to her side facing away from him, trying to fall asleep but couldn't. She could sense from his mana that he was sound asleep, probably worn out from the "activity" they just performed. It started out as a competition of who would be the first to come undone. It was always him at first since she was too stubborn and competitive to let him get the best of her. But as they spent more nights together, she gradually let herself loosen up and allowed herself to get lost in him more and more.

Yuno was always his calm and aloof self whenever Noelle saw him the following mornings and neither of them would speak of their engagements the previous night. Oftentimes, they would sit at the same table other Magic Knights being their usual selves, him being quiet and her being as haughty as a royal can be. They seldom spoke to each other, like they always did, and their exchange were limited to the stolen glances so discreet that they went unnoticed.

But when night fell, and everyone was already asleep, Noelle would tiptoe to Yuno's room and knock on his door to spend the night with him. And for some reason, he always let her in. He always returned her fervent kisses and gave her what she demanded from him.

The sex was great, not that she had a lot of experience on the matter. But she was doing this with Yuno for practice, so that when it came to the real thing, with Asta she hoped, she would know what to do.

Then when morning came, she would leave.

And he never tried to stop her.

Noelle felt slightly pained at the thought. Maybe she meant less to him than she thought? But what if she did matter to him. She wouldn't know what to do as well. This situation with Yuno has progressed into something that she couldn't understand anymore.

She shifted on the bed to face him. Yuno was fast asleep and was slightly snoring. Noelle smiled at the sight. He was handsome, the prettiest boy she ever laid eyes on and she knew a lot of girls thought the same. But his aloofness made him cold and distant, sort of like a brilliant star you can admire from afar but can never have.

Noelle sat up, her thoughts racing. Did she want him? No, that's not possible because she wanted Asta. It was always Asta that occupied the forefront of her mind for the last three years. Why did she care so much about how Yuno felt about her? And most importantly, why did she care so much about how she felt towards him?

She hated herself for not knowing.

Sighing, Noelle pulled away the sheets and stood up from the bed, trying to locate her scattered clothes on the floor.

"Noelle." She heard Yuno call out softly. He was looking at her, his amber eyes still half lidded with sleep as he propped himself up slightly with his elbows.

"I need to go." She said in a level tone.

Yuno blinked once, the sleepiness from his eyes now completely gone but he didn't say anything. He laid down again as she turned to pick up her skirt.

She was leaving again and before he could stop himself, he heard himself say, "Stay here tonight."

Noelle froze. The silence which followed was deafening as they both waited for the other to say something.

Yuno closed his eyes knowing that his plea would fall into deaf ears. Keeping their secret, well a secret, was far too important to her. She can't afford to let Asta know that they've been having sex during the joint training or it would ruin all her chances with him, she had said.

Admittedly, he agreed to be her practice dummy to satiate his curiosity when it came to intimacy. He wanted to know why everyone seemed to loose their minds at the mention of sex.

Attraction was already familiar to him. There had been girls that had caught his interest in the past but nothing went beyond a casual conversation. Partly because he was too busy in making himself stronger to beat Asta into becoming the Wizard King but it was mostly due to the fact that he didn't think any girl was worth his time, even those who he was attracted to.

But Noelle was different. She didn't like him the way that other girls liked him and he meant little to nothing to her making this situation highly convenient for him. He can explore sex as much as he wanted without the connection that would slow down his training.

Then why was he becoming increasingly disappointed at the sight of his empty bed after she leaves? Why did he have the urge to touch her whenever they were around other Magic Knights? Why did the fact that he couldn't hold her hand outside this bedroom irked him so much? Why he's still agreeing to be a part of this was beyond him.

To his surprise, he felt the mattress dip from her weight as she went back to bed. She was already back in his sheets when he opened his eyes to look at her, the moonlight streaming from the windows making her look ethereal, as if she was a sylph from another world. She laid on her side facing him with an unreadable expression on her face. She seemed confused, her eyebrows knitted together as if she was thinking about a new spell. But after a moment, a small smile formed on her lips.

"Well, if you insist." Noelle said playfully and Yuno couldn't help but laugh as he rolled his eyes.

This whole situation was complicated indeed. But this was not the time to sort things out.

For tonight, she would stay.

And that was enough.

Hello everyone, I need your help getting rid of someone that's been harassing people (myself included).

This is the person in question and I need your help to get rid of them and stopping any future harassment.

Even if you're not in the Black Clover fandom, I would appreciate a moment for your time to read this. For a bit of context, if you haven't seen Black Clover, the main ship in the show is Astelle (Asta x Noelle). In the show, Noelle has a massive crush on Asta (think Amity to Luz/Marinette to Adrien/Hinata to Naruto/etc, etc). It's pretty clear that Astelle will be canon but sometimes canon doesn't matter and people ship different things. Now onto this whole shit show.

Harassing in DMs

To start off, they're basically every shade of bigot. My moots and I have gotten really nasty DMs from dailyasnoel and I'm going to censor them because there's pretty bad slurs in them.

The first one was sent to me and the second one was sent to @the-geek-librarian

We're both in a server and everyone in this server (nearly 15 of us) have been blocked. Keep in mind, not a single one of us had ever interacted with them in our lives. We've all tagged our posts properly and haven't said a single negative thing about Astelle or their blog. They went out of their way to send us these DMs with very hateful slurs all because we don't want the same fictional teenagers kissing.

Harassing others

This isn't even the first time that dailyasnoel has gone after people simply for just shipping Noelle with another character. These two, ramiliadoesstuff and kcuf-ad have also posted about been harassed.

Along with that, there is now a ship week for Kahonoelle (a femslash ship involving Noelle) being run by moot @t-f-t (Alex) and this was the response to the original post (a post that was tagged properly and no malice towards anyone) announcing this.

This could've just been the end of it but they felt the need to send an ask to Alex expressing their disgust because there's people who don't want the same fictional teenagers kissing.

Then there's this lovely comment on that post.

Guess who's going to be extremely annoying during Kahonoelle week. (BTW, wouldn't it be really funny if we got them off the internet before their shit ass Astelle week).

Fanfiction

This harassment isn't just on tumblr either, it's on AO3 too.

I scrolled through the Yunoelle (Yuno x Noelle) tag on AO3 and the comments on some of these fanfictions are so vile. There's so many hate comments and I didn't even screenshot all of them because there's so many of them.

I found comments left by people with the username "dailyasnoel" and other guest users with different usernames that make similar comments to dailyasnoel because I assume it's the same person.

While scrolling the Yunoelle tag, I noticed that there's people who have started limited their comment section, have deleted comments with responses like "dude, calm down," or have made their fanfictions private.

And even as a little side note, I want to make it clear that I was able to look at every single Yunoelle fanfiction on AO3 because it's not even a popular ship. There's only 31 fanfictions for them so a lot of these fanfictions are written by the same authors. On the other hand, Astelle has been consistently the most popular ship in the fandom and even has the most fanfictions. So it's not even like Astelle fans are hurting for fanfictions or that Yunoelle fans are invading their spaces.

The actual blog

The icing on this queerphobic, harassing, racist cake is that they're an art thief. Their blog only has art and all of it is from other people. There's no indication these are reposts, there's no signs that they got permission to repost these, nor any links to the original posters. (original art links > 1/2/3)

If you know nothing about Black Clover or the fandom, I want to make this abundantly clear, this is behavior is unacceptable. This fandom has been very peaceful as of late and this one person does not speak for Astelle fans in the slightest. The Astelle fans I've interacted with are quite lovely, and if Asta or Noelle or Tabata (the creator) saw this, they'd be disgusted.

Whether or not you're in the Black Clover fandom is irrelevant. This is a horrible person and art thief, please report and block this person. Together, we can get rid of this person.

@dailyasnoel I know you have me blocked but if you happen to read this, I want you to know that if this small part of you that you show on the internet is even a modicum similar to how you behave in real life (joking or not), you are going to live a very sad and lonely life.

I hope you enjoy your own company because no one will want to be your friend, no one will support you, and above all else, no one will mourn you. Your absence will be treated with nothing but joy and whimsy because you are a sad and pathetic parasitic monster.
