Bonjour tout le monde, je vous présente mon projet personnel! N’hésitez pas à partager cette publication et de s’abonner à mon blogue!

Le Mexique est un magnifique pays avec beaucoup d’histoire et de culture. Un de leurs peuples premiers, les Aztèques, fascinent encore les personnes aujourd’hui grâce à leurs pyramides, comme celle de Teotihuacan. La cité est un patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO aujourd’hui. La culture aztèque est encore présente dans la société mexicaine d’aujourd’hui. Par exemple, en gastronomie, les ingrédients centraux sont toujours les mêmes: le maïs, le chili, les haricots, l’avocat. De plus, le noms de certains plats mexicains sont tirés de la langue aztèque comme tamale, taco ou pozole (il y a une recette de pozole dans les pages). On honore encore cette culture comme dans l’armoirie du drapeau. Nous pouvons dire que la culture mexicaine est un mélange du colonialisme et des cultures aztèques. Un exemple très marquant est celui de la religion. De nos jours, le Mexique est le 2e pays où il y a le plus de catholiques. Les colons espagnols ont pu remplacer les idoles païens par des idoles catholiques comme la vierge de Guadeloupe. C’est pourquoi qu’on peut dire la religion catholique mexicaine est un métissage religieux, la fête des morts est un très bon exemple, puisque les croyants catholiques rendent hommage aux morts durant une fête d’origine aztèque.

15.-21.04.2019 - Weekly Review 3

A little late, but the end of last week was full of family and a friend from Mexico who came to visit me so no time to post!

I managed to work on my summary for organisation of companies and created a huge study set on quizlet for Spanish vocabulary. Besides that, I accomplished some more organisational stuff that needed to be done.

The lectures were quite interesting - one was about safety at events and I learned a lot to keep in mind in the future! The second seminar was about technical equipment at events and we did a real hands-on-session with some of the lights and a mixing console, so this was a really practical one!

I enjoyed some wonderful sunny Easter days with my family and my Mexican friend and now I’m back at university!
