God.

I love the QSMP so damn much.

All of the individual storylines, main plot points, and small interactions give me so much life.

It's just this close-knit community of characters that have come to love each other and become fast friends and family.

There's angst and drama and horror and mystery and just about everything else but there is always this core feeling of community and care that has been created.

It's not even exclusive to the server itself either. Seeing all of these different communities come together and get to know each other and become more comfortable with themselves has been so incredible. The streamers themselves have become such good friends they are all planning when they can next meet everyone or travel to someone's home country. It's just incredible.

The world feels so damn negative these days, but here is this Minecraft server actively standing a bright beacon of light. Yes. It's not perfect, but it's incredibly human and very enjoyable to be able to see and interact with.

Every admin and player who has even remotely had a hand in the QSMP has made something truly incredible, and we are shown that every day.

so just wanted to let everyone know i saw a man and his daughter in the store and he was pushing her in a cart making car noises and talking to her out loud about toddler nonsense and then just suddenly said “oh my god i love you” and started laughing and continued on running around the store and then i saw someone in the parking lot pick up their partner or friend bridal style and carry them to the car and spun them around in the parking lot before opening their car door and bowing while they got in. so yeah just a reminder that there’s so much love in the small things and there are people out there loving and living life with their loved ones and we can all find love and happiness! take care of yourselves <3

being friends with people that aren't your age is ok btw you're allowed to be friends with 12 yr old sid down the street who likes dinosaurs and nintendo and bugs who you can't keep up with when you play pretend with him and friends with 72 year old tabatha who's widowed in the nursing home and likes to tell you about her life before her husband died and all her romcoms and telenovelas who knits her grandchildren little things with trembling hands. all people from all walks of life are meant to care for and enjoy one another's company. it's not weird to have people wildly younger or older than you be your friends. it's called human connection. bask in it's glory when it comes to you. i talked to the nicest homeless man and people didn't understand why i bothered to dilly-dally at his side while he told me how he used to help the homeless in the city before he became homeless and how he still helps people, despite his condition. all these people deserve our kindness, regardless of age or appearance. because at the end of the day we are all one thing, and that is human, and that is what we share.
