Hello and welcome!

​This is an introductory post to my Dark Academia themed studyblr. I've been meaning to start this for a year now but since I'm starting last school year I think it's the best time.

hello loves, so i’ve been seeing lots of new studyblrs have cute little intros and i thought to myself, i probably should have introduced myself at the beginning of this... but thats okay, because its still 2019 so we still have time to get our life in order. kind of.

i am a freshman in high school. (i know, i’m a smol bean)

this da discourse is legit getting out of hand, these blogs posting 'hot takes' are getting angry at kids for just saying 'it ain't that deep'

@rosenaufsuden informed me about a blog encouraging others to attack big DA accounts and at this point I am not only embarassed, but a little disgusted. Seems like no matter how loud we state our arguments, there still will be people blindly following the idea of DA community being inherently this and that, even though it's not. Nicolina made a whole post about all this drama and answered to a LOT of intimidating and even hateful comments and accusations. I highly recommend to check her blog (the one I mentioned here)

Why I created this account: I used to be in a Spanish Marvel roleplaying group on Twitter, and I realised there was a lot of interesting content, fancasts and the like. Pros and Cons: Following Studyblgrs

Pros:

they post nice pictures of organised stuff

they give advice to people on how to become more organised

they read and recommend great books

Cons:

they are actually busy people, so might end up not posting for a while

Evidently, there are more pros than cons, which is why I advise you to go and follow some studyblgrs!

Favorite food - gnocchi with tomato sauce or Kaiserschmarrn, it’s a tie. I love Austrian sweet dishes!

Drink of choice - raspberry lemonade, or a cider

Instruments - sadly, I don’t play anymore but I learnt the guitar when I was really young. I want to learn playing the piano but I sadly don’t have the time to take lessons.

Languages - I speak German and English quite well and I’m learning Spanish at the moment. I can read Latin and Ancient Greek, too.

Celebrity crushes - it’s always been Colin Firth but my best friends got me to appreciate David Tennant as well. Honestly, they don’t shut up about him.
